They are the same product.
The "full" is a traditional perpetual license. Install - register - activate - use.
Does not "call home" to validated that is a paid for install (the one time activation takes care of that).
Internet? Connectivity is needed in order to download and install updates.

The "subscription" license will require periodic internet connectivity. If I recall correctly all "subscription" applications must call home once a month.
That is how the application "knows" it is being paid for and is legit.
While within the call home periodicity connectivity is not required for usage of the application.
As with a "full" license you'll need connectivity to download/install application updates

You an use your iPhone without connecting it to a computer.
But the product description for the iPhone clearly states that in order to sync with a Mac you must have OSX 10.6.8 or later. That version of the OSX is usually called Snow Leopard. There are two mo recent versions of OSX. OSX 10.7.x (Lion) and OSX 10.8.x (Mountain Lion).
If you can upgrade your computer to at least Snow Leopard I suggest you do so.

Is the same true for using the App Store with a desktop machine? Someone installed a program on my machine (the IT department) and I would like to install the updates but it was installed under a different Apple ID. This anyone know how to change, or work around this particular issue?

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? Hi Alxx911, and John Hammer1. After reading John's reply - " You can plug something into it's headphone jack. though" . I thought i'd try out of curiosity. I plugged in some headphones. I didn't expect anything to happen and nothing happened. The audio jack is for the Dell soundbar which is optional.
Here's a direct copy and paste from the users manual: Section About Your Monitor.
Attaching the Soundbar AX510 / AX510PA (Optional) CAUTION: Do not use with any device other than the Dell Soundbar. NOTE: The Soundbar power connector (+12 V DC output) is for the optional Dell Soundbar AX510/AX510PAonly. To attach the Soundbar: 1. Working from the back of the monitor, attach the Soundbar by aligning the two slots with the two tabs along the bottom of the monitor. 2. Slide the Soundbar to the left until it snaps into place. 3. Connectthe Soundbar with the DC power connector. 4. Insert the mini stereo plug from the back of the Soundbar into the computerís audio output jack. For HDMI/DP, you can insert the mini stereo plug into the monitorís audio output port. If there is no sound, check your PC if the Audio output is configured to HDMI/DP output.
This monitor has no speakers. (Like John Hammer1 mentioned). The no speakers feature was one of the reasons I chose this monitor.

Thanks, I was thinking so. I installed my CS4 from a CD in 2008, and it looks like Adobe has taken another approach to selling their products. I'll be downloading CC Photoshop a little later today.

Is this music purchased back in DRM days? I don't actually have any iTunes music so I can't test with my iTunes 7.5, but I know that without iTunes 10 you cannot even connect to the store anymore. I wouldn't think that would require an active connection to the store all the time, otherwise how could you play music on a computer in the middle of nowhere? Well if you use the Finder Go menu to Computer, a window opens up double click on your boot drive and then on Users folder, open the other user folder and open Public and drop your files into DropBox
When you do this it will copy them and change the permissions and user assigned to it, so log into the other user and place them into your respective normal folders.
Once you have all your files over and don't need the old user, use System Preferences > Accounts to delete it if you wish, however it's good two Admin accounts on the machine in case something bad happens in the other. Some people for security reasons on use a Standard account for most uses and a emergency Admin account.
One can still do most Admin things in Standard user.

I had a similar problem recently and using the "more like this" feature I discovered an answer. To a problem posed by Holo7, who like myself was a newbie on this platform, b noir proposed a solution to Holo7's problem that also worked with my problem. It involves downloading a version of MS Windows Instal Cleanup and using it to completely remove all traces of the old version.
If you look at my problem (follow OldGit66) and the link to Holo7's problem then you will find b noir's answer which I think may help you. I am new around here so you might want to wait for one of the higher status correspondents.
