From the forums I could figure out that it is ADS configuration issue, but I am not able to find what the problem is.
I have installed ADS service (Part of EP installation). ADSUSER is EP user and I have made him a technical user.
Tested the application as mentioned in Post install and it shows the version in the result which means OK
    Installed the credential
    Restarted the J2ee engine
Am I missing any step. How to fix this error?
Do I have to make any settings in ECC/ABAP side?
    Thanks,
    Vishnupriya

Can you provide some information on what you had to do in the ECC system?  I have this working to the point where I can view the document in the portal but when I do the review and then "send", I get an error message that the notification types does not exist.  From the SAP Library, it sounds like everything should be delivered for the sample application.  If I go to customizing  in the ECC system and try to navigate to the characteristics for the scenario, I get the same message that notification type E1 does not exist.

The above exception appears when the mode for the InteractiveForm UI element is set as either ' generatePdf' or 'UpdatePdf'.
When i give mode as 'usePdf', the screen appears but the adobe document does not appear(there is a cross in tht plc).
I looked into the Visual Admin and implemented suggestion in 1 of the thread
( PDFDocumentRuntimeException ) like , changing the password in UserManagement and updating for the ADSUSER but to no avail.
Kindly help me in resolving this issue.
    Thanks & regards,
    Sharath

    Hi
Have you assigned the Context Node to the dataSorce property of the InteractiveFormUI element?
I think that is the problem. This is required because only this node will be seen in the Dat view in designer and you will be able to bind your adobe UI elements to the attributes of this node.

  • ADS: Badly formed SStringKey found in StringKey

    Hello,
I have customizing the application TRM. There I'm using the the formular "ISR_FORM_SPI1". The formular call in the application "Tax Office Cockpit" from the taxagent in the Enterprise Portal. If I'm calling the application in language "en" it works fine. But If I'm calling it in languge "de" the webdynpro dumps with "WebDynpro Exception: Der Aufruf des ADS schlug fehl. Informationen zur Ursache finden Sie im error.pdf auf dem Applikationsserver".
I found with debugger the error message from ADS:

    Workaround
This may not work for all, but this is something that seem to work for us.
Instead of loading the pdf directly from the server like we normally do (using Response.Redirect or Server.Transfer etc).
Let the html page load and in the onload of the html page, call a javascript to set the window.location to the server path of the pdf and then when the pdf downloads and displays, it seem to work fine for us on all versions.
This is the general idea and the way I did in .Net was to use ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript and set the window.location as the pdf path instead of where the pdf was getting loaded from the server.
    Hope this helps someone.

  • Using Motorola I870 as modem for Macbook

Does anyone have any idea how to use my Nextel Motorola I870 as a modem to connect my MacBook to the internet through Bluetooth? I am having big problems making that happen. I have been on the phone with Apple, Motorola, Bluetooth and Nextel and they were NO help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A Blackberry 8703e is a Sprint device, so you'll have to resolve the issue with Sprint.
Sprint fields what they term the Sprint PCS Business Connection. You'll need that option if it is not already part of your subscription plan, and you'll need to tether a laptop through your Blackberry 8703e and your carrier via USB. Bluetooth connections via DUN are not supported. To enable a connection, Sprint states that you'll need the Sprint Connection Kit, which you find for several different operating systems—including Mac OS X—here:
    http://www4.sprint.com/pcsbusiness/support/downloads/index.jsp?internalId=downlo ads
Except that, I wasn't able to locate a package for your Blackberry when I looked there: only packages for Sprint's PC data cards seemed to be available. So, you must perform the recursive loop at this point, and contact Sprint.
I don't believe that anyone but Sprint will be able to resolve the issue for you. You certainly cannot do it without enabling the data option, which only they can activate.

  • USING BLACKBERRY 7290 AS MODEM FOR MACBOOK

I have been told this is possible. I have been on numerous boards with no help. I have been on PocketMac.com and downloaded the version to sync via usb. I need to find a way to use my 7290 as a modem for my Macbook. I have the new MacBook with Intel Core 2 duo and Mac OSX. Anyone out thereknow how this can be done? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

    hi,
as far as i know you will need an application.
    when you upload the pdf....
the data in the form will be loaded in the context.
and then you can use it as you like it.

  • Performance and configuration Adobe LiveCyce Designer for SAP

    Hi there,
I have a question for LiveCycle Designer for SAP. If the SAP system, a very large amount of data to the LiveCycle Designer is passed (eg data from over 1000 pages about 40,000 lines) then it comes to the following exception: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ads.exception.TransientException: A problem was encountered with the results: render Result array is null .; [Error Log file "2014.11.14.145246SAFPFILE1.pdf" written to F: \ usr \ sap \ R44 \ SYS \ global \\ Adobe Document
For smaller amounts of data from SAP, it goes without problems.
Does anyone know the settings in SAP or by Adobe LiveCyle designer?
Is there such a thing as a limitation of number of rows? Or is there a limit on the size of the transferred data from SAP?
What would be a possible solution?

Did you raise this SAP via an OSS message?

  • Digital signature on Form 16 - PDFManipulation Module error

We are trying to implement digital signature on form 16 and have followed instructions in note # 1168740. One thing that remains is the installation of 'Trusted Anchors'. The procedure for installation of trusted anchors is to copy the Trusted Anchor file (<filename>.cer) to the /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/
    TrustManagerService/trust/certificates directory.
We have installed ReaderRights and ServerSignature. All we have is a '.PFX' file that contains the digital signature of the signing authority. This is issued by the authorized Certifying Authority (CA).
    Q. What is '.CER' file and where do we get this file from.
When testing the server side signature test program - FP_PDF_TEST_07, we get the following error:

    Shyam,
I have a similar issues and looking for the <filename>.cer file to install the Trusted Anchor to validate digital signature in Adobe Interactive Forms.
    Did you resolve this issue?
Can you please let me know where to get this file?

  • Error "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: X Exception - P(200101)"

    Hi folks,
I created a new Adobe Interactive Form which is quite simple. There's just a header and the personal number of an employee to be printed. I binded a structure (contains 10 fields) to the context and de-activated all of the fields except  the field personel_number (defined as CHAR8).
The form is ok when it's execuded by TA SFP.
Running the form via a print program it aborts with "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: X Exception - P(200101)".
When I deactivate the personel_number in the context the form the error does not occur.
The ADS works well. FP_CHK_REPORT and FP_PDF_TEST_00 report no problems.
My problem is quite similar to [ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.Processin(200101); just the other way round.
    Regards,
    Steffen

I fixed the problem on my own. There were probably 2 bugs:
    1. I deleted the form, the interface and the ddic objects. Then I started from scratch that means creating again ddic objects and the interface. When I created the form I recognized the layout type "standard form". I'm quite sure that this option was not selectable on form I deleted.
    2. It also could have been that the data structure of the context contained wrong data e.g. a numeric field contained non-numeric stuff (X'00')
Maybe these informations are helpful for somebody.
    Regards,
    Steffen
