ADT command line packaging - how to add an ANE?

Hi,
I need to compile an iOS app from the command line.
How to add an ANE to a command line packaging?
This is what I have so far:
./adt -package -target ipa-app-store -storetype pkcs12 -keystore iOS7.p12 -provisioning-profile Foo_DragDrop_iPad.mobileprovision Foo_iPad.ipa Foo_iPad-app.xml Foo_iPad.swf FooIcon29.png FooIcon40.png FooIcon48.png FooIcon50.png FooIcon57.png FooIcon58.png FooIcon72.png FooIcon76.png FooIcon80.png FooIcon100.png FooIcon114.png FooIcon120.png FooIcon128.png FooIcon144.png FooIcon152.png FooIcon512.png FooIcon1024.png Default-Landscape.png
I hope somebody can help me!

Thanks mate!

  • How to compile an .air app from the ADT command line?

    Hi,
    I would like to compile an .air app from the ADT command line.
    Does anybody have an example?
    I don't know how to add the AIR SDK path and a folder to it.
    Is there a generator for the command line availabble?
    Thanks

    Correction: it seems that Applescripts and some similar scripts can be called from the command line using "osascript scriptname". I don't speak automator but you might like to try it. osascript seems to come with severe limitations though, for instance it doesn't allow user interaction such as dialogue boxes.

  • How to use ADT command line to build an iOS application including ActionScript native extension file

    Hi All,
    I have ANE files packaged in my iOS application. I can export them to release build through FB no problem.
    But How can I include those ANE files through ADT command line? Can I do like other library files?
    Thanks in advance for any helps.

    I was stupid that did not find the right syntax.
    -extdir extensionsDir will do the trick.

  • Including files/resources using the ADT command line

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to get file support into my ADT helper tool before I release an update.  I am still having problems.
    According to the Adobe docs on the subject, the following commands can be used:
    -C "path/to/new/working/directory" [files and folders to include]
    -e [files and folders to include] [package directory to add these to]
    The following example works fine for me:
    // This changes the working directory to my audio resources folder, and then packages the file 'track.mp3' into the root folder of my application package.
    -C "C:\\resources\audio" "track.mp3"
    Hoiwever using -e option in any way generates an error:
    // This copies the file 'sfx.mp3' from the current working directory to the application package subdirectory 'lib'
    -e sfx.mp3 lib
    This also causes an error:
    // Change the working directory to resources/audio and then copy the file called 'sfx.mp3' to the 'lib' subfolder of the application package. Error.
    -C "C:\\resources\audio" -e sfx.mp3 lib
    The error in both cases is:
    File does not exist: sfx.mp3
    Any ideas how I can use the -e option?  Does the working directory not come in to it - do i always have to use an absolute path to my file?
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Not sure if it will help in your situation, but I just include files by adding the filepath at the end of my adt command line (no -e or -c). Eg (included files or bolded):
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java" -jar C:\Users\t.randall\Documents\AIRSDK\AIR_3.0\lib\adt.jar -package -target ipa-ad-hoc -storetype pkcs12 -keystore ..\..\Deployment\CareerBox.p12 -storepass pass -provisioning-profile ..\..\Deployment\CareerBox.mobileprovision ..\..\CareerBox.ipa CareerBox_iPhone-app.xml CareerBox_iPhone.swf AppIconsForPublish\Icon29x.png AppIconsForPublish\Icon57x.png AppIconsForPublish\[email protected] AppIconsForPublish\Icon512x.png AppIconsForPublish\Icon48x.png AppIconsForPublish\Icon72x.png Default.png [email protected] Default-Landscape~ipad.png Data\Cards.xml Data\CareerCards.xml

  • Creating .swf from .fla file using ADT command line

    Dear Adobe Community and Moderators:
    Is it possible to use the ADT command line to directly compile an .fla file into an .swf file? Context: I have an app created in Flash Pro CS55 (6 months worth of work), but now found Adobe has dropped Flash Pro in favor of Flash Builder or Flex. I have some native extensions I want to use for iOS, but they require Air 3.1 to compile (swf-version=14) i.e. using the MessageUI framework in a static .a library for an Air app. Flash Pro CS55's top end limit seems to be swf-version=13 (Flash 11). Because of heavy investment in time and energy into our Air app in Flash Pro, it's not feasible to convert to Flex by end of week. I tried creating an .swc file, and taking the library.swf from that, but alas, a catch-22, Flash Pro CS55 only compiles to swf-version=13.
    Is there any way to either (a) directly compile my root .swf file (from the .fla file) using a command line (so I can use ADT from Air 3.1 SDK) or (b) some way I can marry a native extension I've found I can use on GitHub which is swf-version=14? Again, my issue is that I have to use Air 3.1 since only it supports iOS5.
    Any thoughts, suggestions, comments are highly appreciated (including if it's not possible to do what I'm trying to do).
    Thank you Adobe community in advance,
    Alex

    I have the exact same question, please respond if you hold the answer to this! mxmlc won't work for me since I have created too many assets within the fla already! Thanks!

  • Command line package management

    Hi,
    I'm a 6 year die-hard Gentoo user setting up some big production Oracle boxes.
    The RHEL package management thing (system-config-packages) is both simply rubbish, and requires GTK.
    Is there something better than fighting directly with RPM?
    Previously we used SLES to run Oracle on, and that was bearable as the ncurses interface to their tools was mildly helpful/useful (you could search !).
    Right now, I want to install the multilib packages for the packages I have installed (*not* every-bloody-one), so that some 32bit code can be run (8i mostly).
    Thanks

    Is there something better than fighting directlywith RPM?
    What varsion of RHEL are you using? On latest
    versions there is "yum" which is 100% pure command
    line (no ncurses).Duh, sorry, Oracles own "Enterprise Linux".
    yum is there, but it's missing urlgrabber, something Oracle don't supply on their media apparently, clever.
    Don't suppose someone has an RPM for urlgrabber I can, uhh, grab?
    Oh how I pine for Gentoo, and I've only been using Enterprise for half a day :/ I'd have been done ages ago.
    Previously we used SLES to run Oracle on, and thatwas bearable as the ncurses interface to their tools
    was mildly helpful/useful (you could search !).
    You probably mean "yast".Yup, yast is/was a bit of an arse, but worked fairly well.
    Yum can search too...Now to get yum working :)
    Thanks

  • Command line compiler (rhcl.exe) adds on rogue full pathways into [Merge Files] of .hhp

    I'm using RH 9 and generating chm outputs on my Win 7 64-bit computer.
    I have a core chm help file and several sub chm helps that get merged into it.
    I have a batch file that regularly compiles our help files locally and then copies them into a common local directory. It then copies them up to a mapped network drive where they are picked up by the nightly build of our installer.
    The problem I have, is that the command line compiler (rhcl.exe) is adding on a full pathway for all the sub helps listed in the [Merge Files] section of the core help's .hhp file, causing these problems:
    1) First of all, the pathways are wrong. The pathway it puts on is from the location of my .xpj file of my core help project. The output directory for the compiler is actually sending all the helps to a different local directory.
    2) These need to be relative, and should not have full pathways. The full pathways make it so that when I click on a subhelp TOC entry that subhelp's topic opens up in an entirely different window instead of merged into the core help's window. (See #13 on Peter's helpful site here about the problem with absolute paths: http://www.grainge.org/pages/authoring/rh9/using_rh9.htm)
    Here' what I want it to look like (the good):
    [MERGE FILES]
    pcdmisportable.chm
    pcdmistutor.chm
    pcdmisvision.chm
    pcdmislaser.chm
    pcdmiscmm.chm
    pcdmisUJB.chm
    pcdbasic.chm
    toolkitmodulesvwmp.chm
    pcdmisdci.chm
    toolkitmodules.chm
    pcdmisnc.chm
    pcdmisip.chm
    toolkitmodulesblade.chm
    pcdmisregistry.chm
    pcdmisfixturing.chm
    Here's what it looked like after the command line compile (the bad and the ugly):
    [MERGE FILES]
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisportable.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmistutor.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisvision.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmislaser.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmiscmm.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisUJB.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdbasic.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\toolkitmodulesvwmp.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisdci.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\toolkitmodules.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisnc.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisip.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\toolkitmodulesblade.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisregistry.chm
    d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\corehelp\pcdmisfixturing.chm
    I've done the following ....
    I've checked my .xpj file and they have relative paths only.
    I've deleted my .cpd file.
    I've removed chm references from my rhbag.apj.
    ... and the hhp file still gets modified with pathways to my core project
    directory tacked on:
    It's strange; because if I compile without the command line, by opening the project and running the generation inside of RH, I don't get the problem where it re-writes the [Merge Files] section with the pathnames.
    Any ideas on where are these rogue full pathways coming from and how I can fix it? Or is it just a bug with the command line version of the compiler that Adobe will need to fix?

    I don't use command line generation but to the best of my knowledge, this has not been fixed.

  • Filenames as Command Line Arguments: How?

    i need to create a program that involves taking in a file name as command line argument, reads the file and then displays its contents on the screen. it needs to work with any file with a .txt extension.
    The only thing i dont fully understand is how to read the file name as a command line argument e.g.
    "java FileReaderApp myfile.txt
    ----contents of file--------
    Thanks in advance
    Carl
    P.S. I have lready read the various helps, utils etc for java and still dont really understand

    Okay, first, it will help if you don't think of "filenames as command line args." The two concepts are totally independent.
    Command line args are Strings. What you do with those Strings is up to you. Processing the command line args is the same, regardless of whether they represent file names or the turnons of the last 50 playmates.
    The args array below contains the command line args.
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    // do stuff
    } Files are generally referred to using the java.io.File. It takes a String for the file name. It doesn't matter where the String comes from.
    Look at FileReader and BufferedReader to actually read the contents of the file.

    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/io/BufferedReader.html
    For the basic command line arg stuff, one of the following should have some info and examples

  • Command line package problem

    Am using this exercise to create packages:
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/java/interpack/QandE/packages-answers.html
    I'm on Unix Solaris and have created /home/me/mygame directory as instructed. Then three subdirectories with their files:
    mygame/client/Client.java
    mygame/server/Server.java
    mygame/shared/Utilities.java
    Using their source code for each .java file, I sit in mygame directory and compile with
    javac shared/Utilities.java
    which works to produce Utilities.class
    But after that my compiles don't work. Two examples:
    javac -classpath . server/Server.java
    javac -classpath . client/Client.java
    returns in second case:
    client/Client.java:5: Class mygame.shared.Utilities not found in import.
    import mygame.shared.Utilities;
    1 error
    prompt% head client/Client.java
    package mygame.client;
    import java.io.*;
    import java.net.*;
    import java.util.*;
    import mygame.shared.Utilities;
    public class Client extends Thread {
    Socket clientSocket = null;
    public Client(Socket s) {
    Can you help? I'd really like to work in packages from the command line.
    By the way, the IDE JDeveloper 9i doesn't have any problem with packages, as you'd expect.
    More info:
    The error meaning it looked but it couldn't find Class mygame.shared.Utilities, I'm sure.
    java -version
    java version "1.2.2"
    Solaris VM (build Solaris_JDK_1.2.2_05a, native threads, sunwjit)
    path (. /home/me/mygame /home/me blah/blah/blah)
    Thanks,
    Chuck Williams

    Why don't you try everything from the directory above mygame?
    You'll have to adjust your commands accordingly, but I think your problems may go away.

    I'll spare you the frustration of these past 24 hours, needless to say I've read most (if not all) of the threads related to compiling a swf into a ipa.  As it is, I'm very close and can't seem to get it to compile.
    On a Mac: the CMD line I am running is this:

    Guys,
    I'm trying to do the following:
    take a hot clone every hour of a vm as a sort of backup of the vm
    I haven't noticed any functionality in the manager GUI. I need advise on the command to achieve this.

    Have you tried this one: ovmcli-2.2-9.el5.noarch.rpm
    That should provide cli access to the Oracle VM GUI functions, including VM cloning. As a running VM results in a hot clone in OVM 3, maybe this will do th etrick for you. However, the release notes only mention OVM 2.2, but maybe it's worth a shot.

  • How to duplicate a target and add resources in xcode using command line?

    I am trying to use command line tools to create, add resources, build, archive and export to ipa in xcode. I could do the Build, Archive and Exporting to IPA through the command line tools(xcodebuild). But I also wanted to duplicate the target in the same project,add a new Info.plist to the duplicated target resource through command line itself. How to do it? I could not find any valuable answers by Googling. I could not find any proper documentation also in Apple Sites.
    Is there any tools that can be used to perform these? I don't want to use the UI. Please, help me out.

    The Mac App Store is not appropriate for command line tools. You can use any language you want.

  • How do I open a PDF to a specific page via the command line?

    Several questions about opening PDFs from the Mac OS X command line:
    1) How do I use the "open" command to open a PDF to a specific page? (I know I can open a document via: open doc_name.pdf)
    2) How do I use the "open" command to pass multiple arguments (page no, zoom scale, view mode, etc...) to open a PDF file in a specific manner?
    3) Does Preview handle the same parameters as Acrobat Reader? If not, what are the differences in options?
    I've spent hours searching for this answer and have come up dry. I've downloaded Adobe's "PDF Open Parameters" document -- it lists all of the parameters I need, however I can't get any of them to work from the command line.
    My goal: Open a PDF from the command line to a specific page. At first glance, I thought this would be simple to do and find -- however, after a lot of searching I haven't found an example on how to do it.
    Anyone have any experience doing this, and care to share?

    I don't know of any way to do what you want using the 'open' command. It can probably be done with Applescript, which you could call from a shell script. The Preview application doesn't seem to be scriptable. I don't use Acrobat, so I can't tell you anything about that. Looking through the dictionaries of the apps I do have, it seems that Skim (another PDF viewer) has an AS 'page' class. Below are a couple of links that may get you started. Look for more specific guidance in Applescript forums.
