Advance Analysis Workbook Error ID-111006 on Refresh

We're currently on version 1.4.4.2737. I've created the advanced analysis office workbook using BOBJ connection and stored it on my PC. Next time when I open the workbook from PC and try to refresh it, it asks for BOBJ credential and then executes and I get attached message. No dump found in SAP BI (ST22).
If I create the workbook using SAP BI (Enter Skip on BOBJ credential popup) and then tried to reopen it, Refresh works perfectly fine.
Any idea why it gives error while refreshing the workbook on PC created using BOBJ connection?

We are presently using 1.4.9.3240 .I have an issue when I try to pull seven mesures which are tenure feilds in my scenario and which have maximum of 8 decimals ie (10892443.484) and have filtered with backgroud filters which are restricted data which should bring a result of 450 records approximately. But, analysis Throws an error with this samll data .

Advanced Analysis workbook does not open from infoview - only addin opens

I have saved an advanced analysis office workbook in bo enterprise and it is subsequently shown in a folder on infoview. But when I want to open the workbook from there excel opens with the aa addin opened but no workbook appears.
I have already set the LoadBehavior registry setting in the branch
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns\SBOP.AdvancedAnalysis.Addin2003.1
to the value 3 for enabling (as described in the Ingo Hilgeforts book "Inside SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis"). Somehow the workbook name does not get transferred to excel on opening.
Can anybody help?

Hy experts, i have configured the SNC between SAP BO and SAP BW but for any user i have this issue:
when the user launch a Bex Query by MS Advanced Analysis, this error message occurs:

just a couple of hints:
- Did you already tried to skip logon to BOE and instead directly select BW system? this should avoid to involve snc and then BEx query should be accessible. This would be a further confirmation that issue is the SNC, even if the log you posted is pretty clear about that.
- Do you have snc installed even in local PC running MS Advanced Analysis? I Think it is necessary for the described workflow (page 24 of Admin Guide):

Furthermore, if I rember correctly, there could be restriction in license using SAP Cryptographic Library (client connection is not supported: SAP notes 597059 and 397195), so you should check your SNC software.

We are running BO 4.0 SP02 Patch 11 with SAP BW 7 and experiencing the following error with Advanced Analysis for OLAP:

I have researched into this and found forums such as:

However, none of these have helped our situation too much.
We have rebuilt the windows server 2008 R2 recently, hence the process we followed was a fresh install of BO 4.0 SP02 platform & tools, and then patch 11 on top of these.
Crystal, WEBI's (using the same BICS connections as the AA's) and Dashboards are all working as per expected.
The errors are for every AA including ones with only 2 variable selections (light queries) to ones with many more. Hence it is platform wide for Advanced Analysis.
I have also tried creating new AA using existing BICS, new BICS existing AA, new BICS new AA all with no luck.
We have also created new Adaptive Processing Servers with only the MDAS as a common service, turned on tracing etc but nothing springs to us as to what is going wrong.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Hi All,
After conversing with SAP support technicians we have found what is causing this issue.
On the windows servers we have the following installed locally:
- BO platform 4.0 SP02
- BO platform 4.0 SP02 patch 11
- BO client tools 4.0 SP02
- BO client tools 4.0 SP02 patch 11
- Crystal reports 2011 SP02
- Crystal reports 2011 SP02 patch 11
- Crystal reports for Ent SP02
- Crystal reports for Ent SP02 patch 11
It seems that the crystal reports 2011 or cr for Ent was causing an issue in the .WAR files that BOE uses to run Advanced Analysis for OLAP.
After uninstalling the two crystal products and removing any left over cr files in program files on the server, AA for OLAP works successfully in our environment.
The other point after this was i stopped the tomcat and SIA, i renamed the BOE folder under <install dir>\SAP BO4.0\Tomcat6\webapps and restarted the tomcat and then the SIA. In 4.0 when the tomcat is started again it will go and recreate the BOE folder from the BO directories effectively recreating the apps .WAR files under the webapps\BOE folder.
SAP will hopefully document this issue for other clients.

Advanced Analysis for Office 1.1 - default workbook location

Is there a registry setting for the default workbook location? We are deploying Analysis for Office via Citrix and would like all users to use the same default workbook. By default, that setting is pointing to a location specific to the current user.
Anyone else deploying this way?

This setting is not managed by a registry key but by a file setting. You will find an xml file in the following folder after installing Analysis for Office:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\SAP AG\SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis\Settings\Document
So to publish a global workbook template you would have to - as part of your rollout - push a global workbook template (excel file) into the users install directory + push an updated version of the xml file from the above file directory into the users Appdata... folder refering to that workbook template file.

BO Advance analysis 1.1.4, Info Field like Last Data Update Table

Hi Experts,
I am using BO Advance analysis 1.1.4 for reporting output. There we have option to show Info Field like Last Data Update.
It is using this function to get that info :

Anybody have idea what BW table it is refering to get that info.
As per my understanding, since these workbook of Adv. Analysis are refering Query which are built on MultiProviders, it go and find out the last cube/dso successful data load.
Also I manually checked the date and time of last successful update in cube, but it is not matching as far as time is concern. Date is matching.
Please help me to get the correct table which gave that info (date and time).

I was trying for the similar requirement to get the "Last refreshed time" of the table used in the calculation view in HANA.
It uses the same formula : =SAPGetInfoLabel("LastDataUpdate")
But since Analytic View actually doesn't store any data, it is virtual. The date am seeing is the last changed date. i.e if i do any changes on the model, am seeing the last date when I changed it.
Is there any function which we can use to get the Last refreshed date of the table in the model am using?

ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path with ORA-01652

I have a temp tablespace with 2 tempfiles of 2GB each (total 4GB) but still refresh of materialized view is failing with following error:

I checked and temp ts is completly filled

Temp tablespace size depends how much sort by , order by operation your application performing. You can create new temp tablespace and drop old one with bigger file size

BOBJ Advanced Analysis for Office patch SP10

I imported the analysis product into my existing SAP Installation Server. When I import patch 5 or patch 8, no problem. But when I import patch 10 and then check server, it says I'm missing 12 files. If I try to install to a workstation I see the same errors (11 files). If you just apply patch 10 directly to a workstation without using the installation server, it gives no errors. It seems that the install script for the server is just wrong. Some of the files it is looking for are actually missing. Others are there in the AAO folder, but they're not in the subfolders that it's looking in. Has anyone else seen this and is there a solution? Thanks.

Hello Jurg,
First, try to uninstall what you have and restart the workstation installed. Download the latest version of the Analysis Office, for the 1.0 is the SP12 and for the 1.1 is the SP4. After install it and check how it will work.
Pay attention if your are trying to install the 1.1. We have 2 files, the 32 and 64 bit.

I don't think its required if you connect local through the SAP GUI back to BW. We have the BICS installed and that required us to move up to 7.02 on both our ABAP and Java(portal) stacks. If you are running XI 3.1 SP3 for BOE I sugguest you download the Analysis SP 1.0 SP08. If you have access to the software the install to a client is fast. Setting up the BICS is something you should do in time but takes an effort on both the ABAP and Java stack system. Sorry I do not have the answer you need. Just installed advanced anaylsis 1.0 SP 08.
When you install AA and try to connect to BW, if you get error it will point you to the log files. One problem I had was the antivirus software had to be turned off until we made adjustments. I hope this makes your work a little easier.
If you do not get a reply other than mine then turn in an OSS message on the SAP marketplace.

Advanced Analysis - Problems after patch 5

Just installed patch 5 of Advanced Analysis (12/09/2011) and get this error message when I try to log on to any SAP BW system. It accepts the password and then stops with the error below.
The folder and file mentioned does not exist on my C drive. It starts going wrong after Roaming, I don't have a SAP AG folder.
Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\<my_user_name_replaced_for_this_post>\AppData\Roaming\SAP AG\SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis\logonHistory2.xml'.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
In the meantime I probably re-install the patch and maybe even the first install.

I didn't touch the installation (no re-install or anything) but just created an empty file logonHistory2.xml in the mentioned folder.
After this I was able to log on and after that I had content in this file, as well as another file named xlsRecentDataSourceList.xml
Now Advanced Analisys patch 5 works fine.

i save a workbook on infoview and when i open it , the Addin Advanced Analysis for Microsoft Excel doesn't appear.
This scenario occurs despite the value "3" on registry of this setting: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\SBOP.AdvancedAnalysis.Addin.1.
