AE CS 5.5 Lion 7.2 - Help - Opening Project saved with Dynamic Link to PP takes 20 minutes

Hi There...
I have cut a project on PP
I save that project
Then I import the PP proj. into AE
That takes about 5 minutes
Then I save the project and close it.
Now when I want to reopen it it takes about 20 minutes
WHY
If anyone has ANY idea to why this happens I would greatly appreciate it...
Could it be a Lion thing??? AE generally seems highly sluggish running on 10.7.2 compared to Snow Leopard

Man, you're just snake-bit, and it's been this way for months. Have you ever gotten Adobe software to work on your new OS? It sure doesn't seem like diagnosing your problems over the internet is working out well for you. And the hell of it is, other people report no problems at all.
I'm wondering if it might be worth your time (and money) to go find a Value Added Reseller (VAR) experienced in Macs and multimedia production -- you know, the guys who sell turnkey systems -- and see if they'll get your machine straightened out.

I would first of all try to get the FLA from the Flash
Designer first. It

Help With Dynamically Linking Premiere With After Effects

Recently, I edited some video footage in Adobe Premiere, dynamically linked it with After Effects, and added several effects and transitions within the latter application. However, after I thoroughly finished with my effects editing, I wished to place my After Effects Composition once more into Premiere, but this task met to no avail.
Whenever I copied, dragged, or dynamically linked the After Effects project into Premiere, the footage showed up displaying either "Media Offline" or a series of colors that you sometimes see when a tv channel is offline. Now, I did read several posts describing the dynamic link as being only ONE WAY, but is there no possible way to move my After Effects composition back into Premiere? Or do I have to start from scratch by copying the Premiere footage into After Effects, THEN dynamically linking it to Premiere?
Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Right, I realize that now, but that would require deleting the current dynamically linked After Effects project, right?
Also, I think the solution to my problem would be found if I could find a way to remove the dynamic link between After Effects and Premiere. Any ideas?

I'm having this problem since i bought the CS3 Master Collection,
Everything seems to work out just fine...
Aside from Dynamic Link,
Every time i tried to create or import something from Ae using Premiere
something like *Dynamic Link is only available in Production Premium*
The Hell??!!
As far as i know Master Collection must also have that kind of capability,
(if im not mistaken)
I've tried unstalling and installing
not only those fuc*?@$" programs, but the whole suite
itself (for atleast the 4th time for now)
but the same old problem still occurs!

One should realize that the PPRO software bundled with Production Premium is a different program then the stand-alone PPRO. Apparently Adobe has (by mistake ?) bundled the stand-alone program with the Master collection. On the basis of the stated content on the web site you have a valid claim to get corrective redress even if that means getting a Production Premium bundle as well until Adobe corrects their mistake. Contact Adobe Customer Service.

FCP 7.0.3 won't open project files with OSX Lion.

After upgrade to Lion, FCP 7.0.3 won't open existing project files (built with 10.6.8) Error message is "wrong file type". Help?

New and need help - drag and drop with dynamic text

So I'm doing this project and as an animator I'm not familiar with the whole action script side of flash
Okay so far I've managed to create the whole Drag and Drop feature and it works well, the thing is I want to make it so when you drag in object in the correct spot and new text appears, and I need like six different object with the dynamic text. but I have no idea how to integrated it in my code or where I should start!
So i based myself on some tutorial so theres some code in there that had dynamic text, but not exactly what i wanted
Your help would be much appreciated!

Need help opening project

when I open adobe premiere 8 for a new project I olny get a blank screen, and when I try to open a old project it said this project was been made with Premiere Pro and I create the file in premiere elemets 8

I would encourage you to do
uninstall (usually Control Panel/Programs way)
free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts)
CCleaner - Download
Reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled
Before you do that I would ask that you go through a typical troubleshooting drill
a. Are you working from the 8.0.1 Update of the program?
b. Do you have the automatic Background Rendering and AutoAnalzyer features disabled?
c. Have you looked at the problem with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
d. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime Installed on your computer with Premiere Elements?
e. Are you running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges?
When was the last time that the program worked without this issue? In other words, is this a
"it worked before but not now" or "it never worked before" issue.
Please review and consider and then we can decide what next.

HELP Filtering and IReport with Dynamic Actions

Hi all,
Now that I've upgraded to 4.0, I'm trying to make more use of Dynamic Actions. I followed the example at: http://anthonyrayner.blogspot.com/2010/07/report-filtering-with-apex-40-dynamic.html and it works fine. The thing is that it is based on a select list which kind of takes away from the effect. What I want is to have an interactive report which is filtered by the value in a text box. I want to use a dynamic action that when a user types a search string, the IR is filtered down based on each character typed. I used the "Change" Event on the text box and the Refresh action on the report region for the IR, but it only refreshes when I "Enter" (submit). Any ideas on how I can get an AJAX-like action using dynamic actions?

Need help opening my library with an external hard drive

I transferred my iTunes library to an external hard drive to open space on my computer, following directions for consolidating and backing up that were given on iTunes. . I am trying to open it on another laptop with iTunes installed to make sure the transferred library works before I delete the original library on my computer.
After connecting the EHD to the laptop, I hold down the shift key and press "choose library" and open the library from the EHD. This is where things get screwy.
Instead of the library opening in iTunes, I get more folders. One for album artwork, another for iTunes media, and another for previous iTunes libraries. When I open the iTunes media folder I get more folders: for audiobooks, books, games, movies, etc.
What did I do wrong?

You're looking to choose a file called iTunes Library.itl in the iTunes folder on the external drive.

okay I've finally been able to get tor and all the other programs to work according to my plan the only thing that's still making problems is that iptables doesn't work as I want it to, when I start chromium without proxy settings privoxy doesn't seem to forward the information to polipo.. do I need to add another rule to iptables.rules in order for the program to know it has to reroute the information again or how can I get this to work? and is there any way to run rtorrent with proxy support?
anyway, problem 2 and 3 are still to be solved.
and does anybody know where i can get a good dansguardian blacklist that was not designed for 6 year old children and for which I don't need to subscribe? I'm still getting these partypoker popups -.-

it sounds like a tagging problem, but I'm not sure how to help.... what kind of files are they? Typically, if they are organized properly in WMP, they should organize well in the Zen... go to WMP and try the advanced tag editor.

Problem solved. Copied latest file of iTunes Library.itl from Previous iTunes Libraries and replaced it with the original in Music - iTunes-folder.
