Af:panerlFormLayout with empty components

Hello,I have the following lyout problem:
I need to achieve something like that

the " " is supposed to be a blank space. and the text fields to be in rows and columns

</af:panelFormLayout>That seems to work, but not in IE .. I tried to replace the empty inputtext with af:spacer, the panelFormLayout just ignores them. There are also problem when you put components with different hights.
If I use panelGroupLayout-s with layout="horizontal" i have problems keeping the components with equal length, if i use "vertical" i will have to keep same height.
This seems like an easy scenario but i have rpoblems with it for 2-3 days.

Redisplaying jFrame with updated components

I have an object A that instantiates object B.
My object name is B_Object.
I call B_Object.setVisible(true);
(This is basically a jframe with jpanel with empty jScrollPane)
Later on, I call B_Object.redisplay() which I want to add components into my jScrollPane and redisplay the jFrame with the new information in the jScrollPane. However, it doesn't display everything in my jScrollPane. It looks like it wants to, but doesn't.
Is this a thread problem? Or I can't just recreate a jFrame that I already have it visible?

When you add or remove a component from a Container, then you need to revalidate() the container so the Layout Manager can be invoked.

How to print out a JPanel with its components

Hello,
I want to print out a JPanel where several components are placed in. The problem is just that neither the printAll() method nor the print() method works to do so. There's always just a print of the empty JPanel. Is there in general a possibility to print out a JPanel with its components or are I'm on the wrong way ?

Problems with Logical Components

Hi All,
I am having problems with Logical Components with our project. We are implemeents SAP HCM and we have defined a logical component Z_ERP for the ECC server. now when you look at the transaction from SOLAR02 it seems they also have a logical Component SAP Learning Solution that is assigned to them. what could be the cause of this???

Hi Trevor,
If you brought them in from the Business Process Repository, the logical component is going to be the default one. If you want to use your own, you need to replace the default one with yours.
You can do this in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN by going to the System Landscape tab > Systems tab > highlight the SAP Learning Solution logical component row > press F4 > replace it with Z_ERP.
If for some reason SAP Learning Solution isn't listed as a logical component you may have to add it, you can also just go to SOLAR02 > Edit > Replace Log. Comp > Enter SAP Learning Solution in the top box and Z_ERP in the bottom one > click Save.

Show rows with empty values

Hello,
We are creating a cross tab report, with products as the columns, and relationship managers with direct and shared revenue displayed across the rows.
For Eg

The problem lies when either one of the products has no values, or one of the relationship managers has no direct or shared revenues. If one of the products has no revenues, it disappears, and also when one of the RMs has no direct or shared revenues, the Direct or Shared row disappears.
I have tried to create a second query just included the Coverage variable, and using this variable in Query 2 with the RM variable from query 1, along with checking the "Show Rows with Empty Measure values", "Show Rows with Empty Dimension Values" and "Show when empty", but it still does not appear to work.
It only shows rows with values in them, and shows the rows with empty values at the end with no RM.
I have not tried to solve for empty columns yet.
Help with this would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!

I think you can resolve this issue following ways ,
you need create another query ( Ex :Qauery2 ) add Product object and RM (Direct,shared) object only without conation. So now query2 result wil have all product and RM(Direct,shared).
Merge the Product object and RM between query1 and query2
Now create table using Product and RM from query2 and measure value from query1. Now you will get row even there is no data.
If you want try this sample report using efasion unvierse.
1) Add year ,state and Discount objects and apply condition Year Not in list "2004" and state Not in list "California "
2) run this query and create the cross tab table . Now you will not get 2004 column and California row in table.
3) Create query2 add Year and State only without any condition , run the query. Now query 2 will display all state and year .
4) Merge the column Year and State between query1 and query2
4) Create the cross table ussing Year and state from query2 and Discount from Query1
Now cross table will show 2004 and California ,even there is not in query 1.

[nQSError: 13049] User 'BISYSTEMUSER' with 'empty' permission can not query

On my local OBIEE 11.1.1.5 Windows 64 bit, I get [nQSError: 13049] error all the time. I understand this must be my configuration is wrong somehow, but comparing with correct installations I can't find a clue, and can't find anything from google either.
Could you please suggest what can be wrong? How to add permissions?

Try doing the following things:
1) Make sure the user ID you are using as BISystemUser in EM is linked to the BISystemuser role
2) Add the weblogic user ID to Bi administrator role. ( Do the association in EM ).

Any further config process required to use this process?
I did not find any difference in postings between normal Sub-con process and SCC.

Product version inconsistent with software components

Hi,
after upgrading our sandbox from 4.6C to ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP06 i've changed the product assignment in SMSY and fetched the new data using "Read System Data Remote". Now there are two problems:
1.) Read System Data Remote shows error message S:032:000 trying to fetch data using RFC. No more explanations or long text. Although data is been read and updated and RFC test connection is ok.
2.) The related system shows exclamation mark "Product version inconsistent with software components". The product version is SAP ERP 6.0, Product Instance is SAP ECC Server. Now i tried "Change Product Assignment" and "Clean-Up Inconsistencies". This results in a list of "Inconsistent Database Assignments" like "Product: SAP ERP" and "Product Instance: SAP SRM-Server". Nothing i can change here. I'm confused as i haven't defined SAP SRM-Server anywhere just SAP ECC-Server.
Any ideas about 1.) or 2.)
It seems to me that Solution Manager doesn't make life easier in the first.

i have checked note 1165438 but can't see how this should help. The technical usage is correct and there is only one specified which is ECC / Central Applications. Still SMSY complains about SAP SRM-Server and more.
Let me say that the system was defined as 4.6C before the upgrade and that we used Solution Manager to download all required packages for ERP 6.0 EHP4 SP06 which worked fine. The problem is as said before that after changing the product version to ERP 6.0 there are inconsistencies shown on the product assignment page (inconsistent database assignment) for SAP SRM-Server, SRM-Catalog, cProject Suite, Workforce Management, E-Recruiting, NW-Business Intelligence, NW-Process Integration, SEM, SRM-Server ECC AddOn, SRM Catalog Content, NW Mobile Infrastructure, FSCM-FSCM Server (ABAP), Application Platform-IPC and Learning Sol-Frontend ABAP. Never heard about them nor specified them anywhere.

Reset PDF bookmarks when saving as PDF from structured FM - Book 11.0 with fm components (*.book).

I've read the forum discussions/solutions on setting PDF bookmarks, but I'm afraid the various solutions appear to only work if you are consistently working in .fm book files, not if your source files are in structured .fm format.
For example, I have to constantly reset the bookmark settings in FrameMaker when I follow our PDF process of saving the structured FM files via the File -> Save Ditamap As -> Book 11.0 with fm components (*.book) route. I can set the bookmarks in the first file of the book, and/or set them using the Format -> Document -> PDF Setup menu options. But an hour later, if I discover I need to make a change in our source material (.ditamap/.xml) and create a new PDF again, I must make the same exact bookmark settings at the .fm level in this process (i.e. creating new .fm files from the .ditamap/xml files overwrites the previous .fm files, requiring bookmark setting, again).
I think the only possible solution for a short-cut in this situation is to write a script to set those bookmarks each time we go from .xml to .fm. Does anyone see another way around this?

Hi Diana...
You're right that only FM binary files can store PDF setup information (in theory XML files could store this data, but that's not the way it's currently set up). In order to have this data available in files generated from XML, you'll need to set it up in the structure application template(s). You also need to make sure that all files in the book use the same tag names. The following topic was written for DITA-FMx users, but the concept should apply to regular FM-DITA as well ..

How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record?

I would like to use a popup to create new record.
I created a af:popup by drag and drop a VO from data control to jsff. then, I created a button and place a af:showPopupBehavior. I was able to popup window by click the button.
however, the window filled with the information from the 1st record. and when I select a record in table and click popup, the popup is filled with that record.
How can I make the popup with empty fileds and create new record by saving the popup?

You can have edit and new buttons, in the PopupFetchEvent identify button source (using popupFetchEvent.getLaunchSourceClientId()) if new button clicked clear the binding using below code.
If you want to see empty fields, in the popup PopupFetchEvent clear the input component bindings.

Tags with empty body can't work in WLS 7.0SP5

Hi, I'm now using WLS 7.0 SP5. In my JSPs, I have the following tag with empty body:
          <jsp:setProperty name="xxxForm" property="style123" value="abc"/>
          It doesn't work. The script works if I change that into:
          <jsp:setProperty name="xxxForm" property="style123" value="abc"></jsp:setProperty>
          However I have found that this problem should be fixed in WLS 7.0 SP1 already. I am using RangeTimeStep for displaying data in time range. I dont know understand whats wrong with this code as it displays graph with some other criteria that I donot specify in RangeTimeStep. The member of Day is like 02/16/2003 and member value is DAY_460. Although I passed both the values but still getting the same graph.
