af:showPrintablePageBehavior problem against af:treetable on Popup window

I just used <af:showPrintablePageBehavior> for <af:treetable>, but got a wrong printable page. I faced this problem on new popup window, which is a browser popup window rather than adf faces inline popup.
After treating <af:treetable> using <af:showPrintablePageBehavior> in popup window, I just found all cells in the table was gone on the printable page while the table header was preserved. It seems like this:

Such effect is kinda like the situation when u configure *<output-mode>printable</output-mode> in trinidad-config.xml*, which simply truncates the treetable.
Such effect is gone when you are not using popup window. In other words, you won't face this problem and will get a normal treetable with full data when using tab or browser window.
But currently the requirement needs that this is be done in popup window.
Anyone give me a hint on solving this?

I am able to get the details by designing the screen in jsp page instead of jspx page.

I just used <af:showPrintablePageBehavior> for <af:treetable>, but got a incomplete printable page. I faced this problem on Firefox 2/3/3.5.
Such treetable contains many rows of data, and its content cannot be printed just in one page (typically 3 pages or more) . What I mean incomplete is that, after treating <af:treetable> using <af:showPrintablePageBehavior> it seems all data displayed on the printable page, but after using print function of Firefox browser you can find out that not all rows of data is printed (just partial row data).
This problem only occurs on Firefox, while it's gone on other browsers like IE7/IE8/GoogleChrome/Safari4.
Other browsers take the printable source as several pages, you can see page numbers like 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3...etc, while Firefox just simply takes the printable source as just one page where you can just get page number 1 of 1.
I know this is not a typical problem, but still long for someone who can help me.

Hi,
not sure this is an issue with the showPrintablePageBehavior if IE shows all data in the browser after using this behavior. The print functionality is owned by the browser and obviously it doesn't get to all of the page content (which I think is out of the ADF Faces scope). You may try and file a Service Request with customer support for them to have a look. However, if the showPrintablePageBehavior properly displays the data, then I am not sure what we can do to make the browser native print functionality working

MacKeeper Ads, Popup Windows problem - Any Solution?

Hi,
I have a problem with 'MacKeeper'.
It opens popup windows, shows link ads on any webpage I visit, distorts google search results etc.
This happens not only on Safari, but also on Chrome & Firefox.
I have tried to clear any spam-looking files from the /Library folder (there's nothing with the name mackeeper, zeobit etc.), also have cleared the cache of Safari, Chrome & Firefox.
I do not know how to find and remove this unwanted app, program or extension or whatever you may call it from my mac.
Can anyone suggest a solution?
Note: I have never installed MacKeeper, so I can not uninstall it.

You installed the "VSearch" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Popup windows are small and cannot be resized in Firefox v31.0. v30.0 and earlier does not have this problem. Example: Hostgator's SmarterMail. XP, 7, 8.1.

My webmail interface is SmarterMail from Plesk as supplied by Hostgator. When Firefox updated to v31.0, I lost the ability to send mail because the popup windows for "New", "Reply", "Reply All", and "Forward" are too small to enter information and cannot be resized or maximized.
This problem does not occur with older versions of Firefox (tested 16.0.2, 21.0, 24.0, and 30.0) or with Chrome or Internet Explorer. While I am writing to you from a Windows XP Pro SP3 system, I have also verified the problem under Windows 7 Pro (x64) and Windows 8.1 (x64).
It's not profile settings, malware, or add-ons. I've tried Firefox Safemode and I've tried "Reset Firefox".
For the time being the workaround is to disable Firefox updates and downgrade everybody with v31 to v30. Please fix this ASAP. You have lots of people reporting it.

As a temporary workaround, you can block website scripts from resizing windows. It's a bit of a sledgehammer, but another user who has this problem indicated that it does stop the SmarterMail script from rolling up the window.
Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''dom''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''dom.disable_window_move_resize''' preference to switch it from false to true.

Windows 7 on MacBook Pro Retina late 2013. Showing popup window as "Windows detected a hard disk problem"

I have installed Windows 7 64 bit version in my MacBook Pro Retina(13") late 2013 model . It was working fine from last 8 months but recently popup window showing as "Windows detected a hard disk problem" once login. Please check the following image.
I have contacted Apple Support team. They have tested the hard disk while booting from Mac OS and all the reports showing as hard disk is fine. Then I thought might be it was some virus and removed the Bootcamp partition and re-installed Windows 7 Operating System. But once updated Windows 7 with latest updates. This message showing again.
Would you please help me out to fix this issue. Anybody faced similar issue?

When I use the Mac disk tools from the startup menu, it see also the problem.
Now the big question is : Why I've this type of issue with 2 MBA and 1 Macbook pro 15".
Their configurations are the same : windows 7 with truecrypt.
Maybe Windows drastically reduces the lifetime of the Apple SSD drive.
The 3 Mac are used for less than 6 month !!!!

Problem with combobox gets dispalyed infront of popup window

when ever popup window is open and kept on combobox ,combobox appears in front or overlaps the popup window,where exactly i have to check the code.which place of code i have to look into... plz help if there is any problem with css then plz specify which property i have to look into..

Problem with Popup window in BDC

Hi Gurus,
I have an SHDB record for transaction VA01 that is called by an ABAP code via "CALL TRANSACTION 'VA01' USING bdc_tab mode 'N' update 'S'".
It does work when I use the 'A' mode, but when I use 'N' mode it shows an error that can't find a window. But this window is a modal popup asking for copy the taxes for all entries in ITEM TAB.
We have many BDC here that works in 'N' mode, but none of them have modal popup windows.
I've already searched for this problem in SDN but I couldn't find any answer.
May anyone help me please?

Problem with a navigation from a Popup Window in an other Window

Hi Experts,
i have a problem with a popup window. I explain my problem. I have a DC Component in which there are two different Windows (MainWindow and PopupWindow) and one of this Window is a popup Window. I desire to navigate from the popup window to the main window of the component. Is there a way to accomplish that ?
I have created the popupWindow and it works very good.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Popup window problem after search

There is a page for search.
In the page,There are some input field for inputting some search condition.
if the search result was 0, no popup window opens.
But,when the search result > 0, it is needed to display search result in a popup window.
I controll this by setting flag to the Backing bean in the search method and open popup with javascript using onload like this.

I search once and poupup window appears.
this has no proble.
But, When I searched again with error input,

Hi siva,
This is the standard pop-up to search any string on the list output. If you want to make it 5 characters long, then you have to implement the user exit (screen exit). since it is the standard screen, I dont think it is so easy to extend the screen field upto 5 characters long.
BTW you can enter max 999 hits. if you have a list output more than 1000 lines then you can use the checkbox starting at current line for doing a search starting again from 1000th line till the end line. This way you can search 'N' numbers of lines.
To summarize you have to do a search after each 999 hits e.g. your 999 hits has been completed on 500th line then you need to put the cursor on 501th line and then again do a search using the checkbox starting at current line.
If you have any more doubts then please let me know.

Popup window problem in tomcat

I have this code within my certAppB.js page :

So I have to pull the users [User Name], [Company Name], and the [Date].
On the approverView.jsp login page ( which is the first login page users see after loggin) it shows
the users full name, so I nabbed the code from that page:

if the user info is in a bean, you can write it out:

The javascript code will is interpreted only on the browser, it has no idea that it was written with fixed strings or inserted from the bean.
If the user info is in form fields, you can do something like this:

Popup window size problem

Hi,
For some reason, the popup window link in my Flash website
opens up a popup which doesn't behave to the window size rules I
set.
The website is www.caveataudiens.net , click on the 'music'
button, and then on the Jukebox button to see as example.

When I change the settings for toolbar, status, etc, then the
changes take effect, it seems though only the width and height
don't work for some reason.

Problem in Popup Window in OAF

Hi,
We are populating a table results page in OAF based on the search items. In the Results table, we have a link(to a new page that has only one table region) on a column(itemstyle: link) so that it should open in a popup modal window. On closing the same, I should be able to conduct a new search.
But what happens here is, after closing the popup window, we are not able to conduct a new search on the same page; the Result table is populated based on the previous search values (that is the master page still holds the old search values and when Go button is clicked the results based on the previous values would be displayed). Even if I click ‘Go’ button, the process form request method is not being called. Also the firePartial actions such as making a field mandatory are not working. This happens only after opening the link & closing the popup window. If we do not click to open the pop up window, we are able to make n number of searches.

Table never gets populated inside popup window on customer's site

I'm working on application in ADF (ADF BC, ADF Faces) with JDeveloper 11.1.1.4 (application deployed on customer's site in Weblogic Server 10.3.6)
and in one page I'm having a button behind which is a code to execute a query against a table whose data is going to be shown in popup window.
Query limits the number of records to be shown to 100 (in query: rownum <= 100).
In my development environment this works fine, but there is a problem on customer's site.
For the query to execute it takes about 20 seconds at the site of customer. After that in backing bean there is a code to show popup.
In the page - popup starts showing (it means that query ended) but never fetching data in the table (all the time there is a message - "Fetching data" like framework is retrieving it but nothing happens).
I have tested a query in SQL*plus - it returns data.
I couldn't find out what is the reason for such behaviour.
Do you have any suggestions what to try?

I've found the reason for not populating table in popup.
Although there is a limitation to the number of rows displayed in table in the form of additional where clause: "rownum <=n" this part of where clause is added to the VO in overridden method: executeQueryForCollection.
Before executing this method framework is executing: getEstimatedRowCount which when executed for the first time through method getQueryHitCount executes a query against the database (select count(1) from... without my rowum <=n which is added to the query afterwards in above mentioned method executeQueryForCollection).
My question is: if I don't want to add rownum <= n at design-time, where it would be the best place to add it to the query so to avoid above described situation and to have that rownum <= n in place for the count query as well?
