After 5yrs of posting iMovies to YouTube, I no longer get confirmation and link like I normally would after uploading

For five years I've been able to post to YouTube using my iMAC.  For the first time yesterday, after running the Medial Browser then trying to post to YouTube, I did not get the usual pop up that said I was successful, would you like to share and the link.  Nothing went to my YouTube channel.  I tried several times with the same lack of success.
For the first time, I tried posting to Facebook.  It worked.
I went to my PC and created a movie (which sucked) and it WAS posted to my YouTube channel.
iMAC is current with updates.
What's wrong?

Aperture is basically holding my entire collection of photographs hostage at the moment.
as a work-around - until you have the serial number back - you might use the previews in the Media Browser.
If you are lucky, you can browse your Aperture library from iPhoto
     iPhoto menu bar -> File -> Show Aperture Library
or the iWorks applications  Pages / Keynote should show your Aperture library.
As a last ressort open the Aperture library package (select the package in the finder, ctrl-click, Show Package contents).
Then double click the subfilder "Masters". In this folder you should find all your original master image files, organized by the date of import to Aperture. Copy the images you need for work tomorrow.
Good luck

  • When i try to watch a video in youtube fullscreen the video gets slow and its cuts off. it happens only in firefox Help me please.

    Hello
    since this morning when i try to watch a video in youtube fullscreen the video gets slow and its cuts off. it happens only in firefox Help me please.if i watch the video in you tube normal size its correct the problem is just in fullscreen mode.

    You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
    *disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
    *disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

  • How come, when I upload a home video from iMovie to YouTube, the uploaded video is not iPad/iPhone supported?????

    I connected a couple of home video clips from my iPhone in iMovie and then uploaded it to YouTube so that I could share the link with family. When the upload is complete, the video says that it is no in iPhone format and cannot be viewed? Whats up with that crap? Is there something I can do about it?

    You tube converts the video to multiple formats when you upload.
    Sometimes it takes a while for the video to be viewable.
    And sometimes you tube converts to other formats before it makes ios versions.
    Just wait a few hours and try again.
    It will become viewable in time.
    If it does not then you would be better to contact google.
    You tube is theirs, and issues need to be told to them.

  • YouTube subscriptions no longer display

    After the latest IOS for AppleTV software update, my videos under the youtube subscriptions area no longer display. The issue's symptoms are described here (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?tid=615fa88008bea999&hl=en& fid=615fa88008bea9990004a9f356d2ac15).
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Log in.
    2. Go to subscriptions.
    3. Click a subscription.
    Expected behavior: The videos for the subscribed channel will load.
    Actual behavior: The AppleTV displays a blank screen.
    At least one other person that I know of is having the same problem.

    I submitted a post to Apple's Feedback, but I also have the same issue.  Just purchased an Apple TV within the past 4 weeks.  Recently setup a YouTube account (after Google purchased them, and am using my Google account).  I can see my favorite YouTube videos, but every time I select "Subscriptions", Apple TV either does a hard reset or it resets to the main screen.
    I keep thinking that the new Google "frame" around YouTube has messed up this function.  The "Activity Sharing" within your YouTube settings no longer controls sharing your subscriptions like it used to.  It tries to draw you to your Google account.  So...is the issue we all have to setup 2 - step verification and use that to log into Apple TV?  Or is there just a bug with subscriptions and Apple TV?

  • IMovie 10 crashes when attempt to update projects and events of external HDs.

    No way to update projects and events. Crash every time after few minutes of processing. Without external HD, works fine. To access older projects and work on it,  the only way seems to be uninstal iMovie 10 and return to 9.

    I do not have exactly the same issue, but iMovie 10 seems buggy as all get out and the alledged bugs cause the system to hang something fierce. There are a number of ways to trigger a crash, apparently, but it always proceeds the same way.
    The screen - the display - goes all big pixelly and wonky. The computer becomes partially unresponsive. Controls in the apple menu at left end of menu bar work, so I can try some things. Relaunching finder does not help. Logging out does not help. Only shutdown and reboot clears the screen.
    But after a few minutes of trying things in iMovie 10, it crashes again. The crash goes the same way each time, but it seems to be triggered by different things.
    I have added screen shot - (hope I added a screen shot, anyway. ) Too bad.  I think I like iMovie 10.

  • FF Mac Desktop Addon and links download errors after upgrade to 35.0.1

    My problem started when FF was repeatedly trying to automatically upgrade to 35.0.1. It repeatedly failed the incremental upgrade and said I should download from Mozilla.org. However, after doing that and installing 35.0.1 both addons and application support for links were broken and did not work. I have tried various solutions including deleting mimeTypes.rdf, deleting FireFox and all associated settings using AppZapper. A clean install of FireFox still is having the problem.
    When I try to add any addon, such as AdBlock, I see the message "There was an error downloading" as in the attached image.
    https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/media/uploads/images/2015-02-07-07-12-42-8eb8ad.png
    Similarly if I click on any link which would download a file, it always fails as in the following image where I attempted to download FireFox.
    https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/media/uploads/images/2015-02-07-07-19-04-eb8857.png
    However, if I click on the download retry widget next to the failed download it will succeed as in the attached image.
    These issues first arose after FireFox could not upgrade itself and I did a manual download and install of 35.0.1. Initially, I could not cleanly quit FireFox. It always aborted when I selected Quit. However, since my AppZap delete and reinstall it does quit cleanly. Although, I can not seem to get Addons and link support to work. With out Adblock I really can not use FireFox.
    I also use Chrome and Safari. Those are behaving normally. I also used Disk Utility to repair permissions. Nothing was listed in any directory associated with FireFox.
    Any suggestions as to how to correct?

    <blockquote>
    Sounds like a permissions issue. If firefox can not save things to your hard drive, it won't be able to download things. Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling firefox? That can fix issues caused by update problems.
    </blockquote>
    I have checked permissions, using both Mac OS X tools, and terminal to assure directory was one to which it could write. I have tried to install a fresh clean copy several times without any improvement.

    <blockquote>
    You can fix Adblock Plus by setting this in about:config:
    * dom.indexedDB.enabled -> true
    You could try downloading Firefox from
    * https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
    </blockquote>
    dom.indexedDB.enabled was already set to true. New installs do not clear the problem

  • I made an iMovie, 6.0.3 using music from iTunes and photos from the Internet. It looked fine on iMovie, but when I uploaded it to youtube,some of the photo near the beginning was corrupted.What steps should I take to export iMovie for youtube?

    I made an iMovie, 6.0.3 using music from iTunes and photos from the Internet. It looked fine on iMovie, but when I uploaded it to youtube, some of the photo near the beginning were corrupted on youtube. I tried a different photo, and the corruption took place at the same moment of the video. How do I prepare the video for export to get it ready for youtube? I wasn't sure whether to clik web or web streaming. Am I supposed to clik Quick Time after I clik Share?

    I unfortunately cannot remember where I got the 'trrndlines' plugin... I assume that it must have been from CFX (as it is located under /Users/Dom/Library/iMovie/Plug-ins/cfx/XXXtrrndlines.bundle).
    As for what it does, I also do not know, as I do not think I ever used it in my previous video projects.
    At this stage, I think I just need to uninstall it so that iMovie doesnt try to use it.
    Do you know how to uninstall a CFX plugin in iMovie?
    NOTE: I have re-installed iMovie 6.0.4 (instead of iMovie 6.0.3), but still encounter the same issue.

  • I cannot post comments on YouTube with Firefox anymore, but can on IE. Intermitant problem, some videos I can post to.

    The comment box is grayed out on many, but not all videos. The problem is only on FireFox; I can go to the same videos on IE and have no problem posting comments. I have Windows 7 home premium, service pack 1, 64 bit. The problem is new, has been working properly till a few days ago. I refreshed Firefox to default settings, been through Youtube help menus, and Firefox help.

    I tried restarting Firefox in Safe mode and then went and commented on a video and whalla it actually worked.... so then I thaught it must be a plugin problem.
    I disabled all my plugins then re-enabled them one after the other until whalla I found the culprit!
    The error is in the DownloadHelper 4.9.14 Extension Plugin, hope the Authors of this plugin are reading this, it is causing users commenting and posting errors in Youtube and needs to be patched!
    Hope this helps others!

  • IPhone 4 video to iMovie to YouTube=BLURRY

    I shot a couple videos this past weekend and went ahead and purchased the iMovie application on my iPhone. Only editing I did was adding a title. When asked to export I chosed HD. I then uploaded into Youtube and its blurry. I went back and exported it to Large (540) again - blurry. Tried Medium (360) as well and it was blurry again. Am I doing something wrong?

    Shortly after uploading it to YouTube (via web browser) your video will be immediately available in a lower resolution quality.
    You will have to *wait for YouTube to "Process" your HD video, before it becomes available in 720p*.
    It can take anywhere from 1 to several hours.

  • Post video to youtube bug

    Very often when I select post video to youtube, after compressing the video it asks for some info, the categories list is empty and the category field is blank and I cannot select a category and so it wont let me publish. I have to cancel the upload and start again, second time it usually comes up with the category list.

    You don't unless YouTube provides some way to upload to them via email or MMS.

  • How do I "copy" a project to make needed edit changes after uploading to Youtube?

    I have imovie 2013.  After uploading a project to Youtube, I needed to make an edit.  I deleted the video from Youtube and did the needed edit using my original project.  After re-uploading it to Youtube, I saw that the edit did not appear...it was still the original video.
    I figured I needed to create a new project with a new project name, make the necessary edit, and then upload this second, edited project.  Of course, I don't want to start from scratch and I want to "copy and paste" the old version to the new version, make the needed change, etc.  I have no idea how to do this.  Is there a simpler way than how I am attempting to do this?  Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Roy,
    Click on your original movie (project) in the Event so that it is highlighted. From iMovie's menu select Edit > Duplicate Movie. A copy will be placed in the Event below the original. It will have the same name but with a number appended (number 1, given that this is the first duplicate). You can rename the duplicate if desired. You can also make as many duplicates as required. Projects (including duplicates) don't take up much space as they basically link to the media in the Event (as well as keep track of your edits, transitions, titles, music and so forth).
    Edit the duplicate and upload it to YouTube. It should be treated as a separate movie.

    1) The people responding in this forum are just other Apple product users like you, not Apple itself.  Apple Support Communities is primarily an end-user to end-user (i.e., users like you helping other users) technical issue support feature. Feedback will truly get more attention if you send it using:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
    2)  At some stage developers decide it isn't worth the expense of supporting older technology. If I had my way you could still connect iOS7 to OS9, but Apple has decided to make the limit OS 10.6.8  Nor do I like that I can't get spare parts for my 33 year old car...
    Suggestions...
    If you are not going to always be running the newest technology always read software requirements before doing any upgrades.  I run a 12 year old computer and yes, I see there are things I can't run (many), but I also then avoid buying any incompatible new technology.  The system requirements are printed on the side of the box (albeit in 9 point medium gray font on light gray box   )  Do not expect the Apple Store people to check with you about your computer first.  I bet half of them were still in grade school when my computer was produced and none of them could possibly imagine anybody would run anything older than 6 years (probably not even that, more like 4).
    Why not buy Snow Leopard?  Of course you do not say what model computer you are using, but if you can run Snow Leopard on your computer there's no advantage to staying with Leopard.  Snow Leopard costs $20 which is minimal compared to you now no longer being able to sync your phone.

    I'd swear I posted almost this identical post two hours ago...
    If you can't/don't want to upgrade your computer, you have 30 days to return the phone I believe.

  • When I try to upload an iMovie to YouTube as I've successfully been able to in the past. I get a message that keeps saying that I need to sign in to YouTube when I am already.

    I'm sorry!   This is my 1st post to the support community and I put my problem in the topic bar!  When I try uploading an iMovie to YouTube I keep getting a message to sign into YouTube when I am already!!  I've done this in the past with no problem...including as recent as in December.  Hope you can help ... Need for my students ASAP.

    Do you have the YouTube app loaded on your iPad?  Are you signed in there (in that app)?

    Frostbitblue,
    in Safari’s Preferences, select its Security tab, and make sure that its “Internet plug-ins: Allow Plug-ins” checkbox is checked.
