If you have backup the photos, you can get them up by restoring.
At present, iOS 8.0.0 and iOS 8.0.1 have many issues, you can wait until Apple solve it or downgrade to iOS 7.

After installing iOS 6.1.3 it is sometimes necessary to reboot the iOS devices by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
To lengthen battery life, turn off the radio services, that is Bluetooth, Cellular Data Roaming, Mail Push, that you don't need or make the mail push time longer and less frequent.
Make sure brightness control is auto so the screen will dim when not needed to be bright.
Periodically go the the recents dock, double click the home button, and dismiss the recents by holding until they shake and a red circle with a minus sign appears attached to each app...touch the red circle to dismiss.
See if those things help your battery charge life.

Don't know about your numbers. If you mean your contacts, if they were syncing with iCloud check iCloud.com to see if they are sill there.

After updating to iOS 5, the Photo album stopped working.

After updating to iOS v5, my iphone 4S's built-in Photo app stopped working.
The Camera takes a photo, but the photo disappears from the camera roll and shows no photos in the photoalbum.
My iPhone used to take photos so, I don't believe it is a hardware issue.
Is anyone having the same problem?
Would there be a update of the v5 to solve this issue?

I figured it out.
In my case, I just needed to restore my phone to the factory setting.
My iphone = iphone 4 running iOS v5
My computer = iMac
Software didn't work = preinstalled "Photos" app
Symptoms = after I take a photo, the image thumbnail of the camera roll shows the image, but images are found neither in the camera roll nor in the albums of the "Photos".
Solution procedure:
connect the iphone to iMac
in the Summary window of the devices, click "Restore"
choose not to save the backup file
choose to restore the iphone as a "NEW" device instead of choosing a backup files*
follow the rest of instructions.
It helped and now I can view my photos in the photo album.
* However, I accidentary re-restored it with a saved backup file and the "Photos" application stopped working again. I repeated the resotre procedure avoiding the accidental restoration to a backup file.
The camera and the photos were working before iOS v5 update, and it is now working again. So, it is obviously not the hardware issue. It seems that iOS v5 and the Photos are having compatibility issue Apple should look into this issue.

Im an owner of an Iphone 3gs.
When I updated my software to IOS 6.1.3 I started having network issues such as my phone would go on searching, it would search for signal and then No service after few minutes it would restart and when its on again it would show me Connect To Itunes screen, I tried connecting but nothing happens and if I just leave it as it is it will just keep on restarting and showing the same screen sometimes I might get lucky and the phone will start working again but No Service and if I turn on my 3G for the times Im outdoors it will just restart again so 3G is also another problem I have got. Today I decided to take it to an Apple Store, the guy restored it and now what happens is that it switches on and is showing me the connect to Itunes message but with black backround and i cant do anything it keeps on restarting and showing the same thing. Please if there is anyone that would like to spend some time with me to help me out, he would be more than Welcome.

after I have updated my IPhone 4 from IOS 6 to IOS 7.0.2 there is no propting of the entered PIN digits.
On the Product videos the propting should be shown above the keypad on the lockscreen but only "Code eingeben" is hown there.
Any Ideas?
I have allready restarted my phone with no effect on it.

Have you tried resetting it:
Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

Has anyone experienced invisible folders after update to iOS 8.1.2 and subsequent restore from backup on an iPhone 5?

It's apparent that a folder that was visible on my iPhone 5 while running iOS 8.1.1, is no longer visible after an update and restore on iOS 8.1.2. The folder had several apps I used regularly. They must be on the phone, because after initiating a 'Spotlight Search' for apps in they now invisible folder, the appear listed in the results.
Has anyone had this occur on their phone after an upgrade to the new iOS version? Is there anyone that can suggest at 'fix' or should i just try to restore again?

So you have checked all of the home screens and the folder does not exist? I've not witnessed hidden folders. Try a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone reboots, see if you can locate it. If not, then you can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This should remove all apps from folders and reset your home screens.

Hello, I have a problem with my iPhone 4S. I am no longer under warranty.. I am pretty sure this happened after iOS 7 update, both of the problems, so I think this is software issue. First I noticed that after switching to front camera, app freezes. And after some time, I found out that when I capture video, there´s just some constatnt noise in background, however microphone works fine in calls, skype or just when i record sound.
I tried restart, delete settings and stuff like that. Is there anything I cant try to do? Thanks and I hope some future update will fix this..

One last try might be connecting in DFU mode, explained in this thread by Wjosten, and set it up as new device after that.
If this fails as well, you'll have to visit an Apple Store next to your place to get it checked or contact Apple support to get it serviced.

I lost firefox after updating. It will not open and a pop up window comes up saying "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of firefox. Do you want to reboot."

Nothing happens after reboot, continue to get the same message. If try to uninstall or reinstall firefox get same message and cannot uninstall or reinstall. Any solutions for this problem?

Try a clean reinstall.
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
* Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Yesterday I updated my iPhone 4 to the latest version (4.3.3), and have noticed that the network is only showing EDGE (E icon) eventhough 3G is enabled. Before this 3G internet was working fine. I checked the APN settings, and they haven't changed. Are any of you guys having the same problem?
Besides that, today, for no apparent reason, while my phone was ringing, the display turned off, and the iPhone wasn't turning on (black screen), and I had to restart the iPhone to get it working again.
Are this issues related to the update?
Maybe I shouldn't update, but ****, if Apple puts an update over the internet it's because they've tested it and because it's supposed to be better than the Firmware you're actually running, isn't it?

Some iPhones just randomly die... you can see if at&t will examine the phone if not, take it to your local Apple Authorized repair center (call Apple to locate a repair center)

After updating to iOS 5, the 'calendar' and '+' buttons are missing!

Did a restore and still nothing. None of my calendars or events sync from my other devices, just have a blank calendar. What can I do?

I just tried that - deselected ical under icloud preferences, then restarted - no change. On the new calendar page the 2 buttons (calendars and +) are not in the upper left corner like they are supposed to be. Anything else? thanks for trying.
