OS X Lion 10.7.5 Supplemental Update
and that solved my problem completely. (368 AU plugins now works!)

After upgrading to OS 10.10, some fonts appear blurry. Specifically top menu bar, desktop icons, mail and Safari. If you also find any files named to include MessageSorting (which would mean you once have upgraded from a version of OSX earlier than 10.4, which is clearly the case for you), remove those, also, but never restore those.
Often this is all that needs to be done, but you might then need to force an overall reindexing via the removal of the Envelope Index. Note the special instructions when forcing the reindexing of IMAP or Exchange accounts in the following:

This will force the reindexing of all the POP mailboxes and all On My Mac mailboxes. With regard to any IMAP accounts if you have any, the practical result of this action of removing the account folder, is that with the IMAP account still set up in the Preferences, Mail will connect to the IMAP server and create a new account folder, and while doing so will index the messages in the mailbox folders of the IMAP accounts on the server.

It is 99% hacked/jailbroken iPhone to use a different carrier than intended. You have to put the sim from the original carrier or ask them to unlock the iPhone. We as well as Apple cannot help you with this.

New Macs come with Lion pre installed. If you can purchase one at some point that way you'd still be able to use the apps you mentioned on the PBook and have another Mac running Lion. -
After moving from Canada to the US, getting a new iPhone 5C, and restoring my backup from iCloud, I can't update my apps. I get an error message that my account is not valid in the Canadian App store and I must change to the US store. How do I do that?

How do I upgrade the iOs on my ipad1 to version5? I've tried through itunes many times, but I get a message that says that the download was interrupted and i should try again later. Can i download the iOS file to my PC and transfer it to the ipad? How should I do that?

I have bought several tv seasons from the itunes store. Recently some episodes will not sync with my ipad. The error message is that the file "could not be read or written". Previous episodes of the same series synced successfully. Also while watching the same episode on my laptop (Mac Book Pro) it freezes.
I had this same message appear today when i was putting new music on my ipod touch 4th gen. The only difference is that I wasnt using an external drive. I was using the one on my computer. This is the first time i have had this problem

I recently upgraded my OS to Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and cannot open up .avi files now in Quicktime. These same files opened up with no problem prior to my upgrade. I had to restore my iMac from Time Machine. After the restoration all programs are functioning except my Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium. When I start any program in the suite the error message, "Licensing for this product has stopped working." I restarted the computer and tried again to run Photoshop and the same error message appeared. The message was followed by a message that stated that I needed to contact Adobe technical support and mention Error: 150.30. I need Adobe technical support to provide me a solution for my problem so I can continue using my Adobe products installed on my computer.
Unfortunately when Adobe products are restored from backup, especial CS4 and especially Mac, it breaks licensing.
There is a python script included in the license recovery kit that should work if you are familiar with Terminal.
If not, you must reinstall your CS4 suite. You don't need to delete your preferences, so it should be the same as before.

Run the cleaner, reinstall.
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
And don't bother with running any updates unless you really need them or they fix a critical issue relevant to your workflow.
