After uploading Firefox 18 the AOL Home Page has replaced my Firefox Home Page and I want to remove AOL Home Page

AOL has muscled in and replaced my Firefox home page as above with theirs without permission.
How do I permanently remove the AOL home page to the trash can?
And, if possible, give AOL a "rasberry" for their rudeness?

With the recent upgrade of Firefox, AOL has insisted to be the homepage. It does not matter whether you change it to be something else. After you change your homepage, somehow when you have to open another tab, aol will pop saying you have changed your homepage, but will not allow you to click anything until you say yes to returning it to aol. This IS so frustrating. I can't believe Mozilla is allowing it or does not know how to counter it.

I updated the software for my 8G Ipod Touch 4th Generation on Saturday morning and have had nothing but problems. At first it would not let me get past the setup portion for Wi Fi which I do not have. Then after fussing with it for about an hour I was able to start listening to my music. But I noticed I am unable to load as much music as the past. I have found that out of my 6.35 GB (instead of 8 that I bought) there is now 2.7GB of Other which takes away over a third of my storage. Does anyone know what this is and how to remove it?

The excessive "other" is due to some files that got corrupted during the update. You need to restore the iPod to get it reduced to its normal (<0.5 GB) value. Firs try restoring from backup. If not successful, restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

You can uninstall in the usual way (Control Panel). You will probably then need to reinstall the older version, which the trial most likely removed.

After uploading iOS7 on the 4s,can't increase the volume of keyboard clicks, actually can't find a volume control, there was a control prior to the upload, any suggestions folks?

After uploading iOS7 on the 4s lost the ability to control the keyboard click volume, there is not the same volume control that was there prior to the download.
Has anyone else encountered this? If so and anyone has a solution I would be very greatful.

I have the same problem. There used to be a volume control for the keyboard clicks. That's no longer an option. In Settings > Sounds, there is only the option to turn keyboard clicks on/off, but no volume level option.
Very frustrating when typing in a quite place. I used to be able to turn the volume low so I could just barely hear it but no one else could.

I have an Excel file on Document library which is more than 100Mb. I am working with it daily (Simple edit, update and save). Since yesterday I am getting error message "Upload Failed. The server storage quota has been exceeded. Save a copy". But
i have 10GB quota (I have checked in CA). Other users are fine. I am only the person who get this message. any idea?

Were are you storing this file?in Mysite Document library or in general site document library? Considering other users are not facing problems i guess personal quota on mysite is exceeded

On the Application Management page, in the SharePoint
Site Management section, click Quota Templates.
On the Quota Template page, you can see the Personal
site’s Limit site storage is set to 100Mb by default

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now?

If you are an Adobe 'SendNow' subscriber, then you have automatically become a subscriber for 'Adobe Send' online service to send large files online at no additional cost.
Please try sending other PDF files using 'Adobe Send' after signing in with the same Adobe credentials and check if it happens with all PDFs or a specific one.
You might log out, clear your browser cache and then log in again to check.

aha yes - Lion has changed you harddrive setup and added a "recover partition" Now it gets - not technical - but time consuming.
try:
insert your Snow Leopard installer DVD.
Reboot
Immediately After startup sound, hold down ALT.
You'll be presented with several options. Select your install DVD and continue.
If it doesn't fail:
Once the installer has started, go t the top menu and select "disc utility"
go to the "partition" screen and erase all partitions back to one single partition
return to the installer and install that older OS X version
give to buyer minus the price of a Lion upgrade
If it fails, go to step 1 and boot from your "recovery drive".
once the installer has sarted, go to the top menu and select "disk utility"
erase the drive partition that used to contain OSX Lion - this will remove your private data, all apps and OSX Lion.
Restart, hold own "eject" and remove the DVD, and shut down again.
You'll have to hand it over to the new buyer in this state. Tell him the machine will boot into the Lion installer but he'll have to create an App Store account to download and install OS X Lion. One again, give him a reduced price equal to the price of the Lion upgrade. Way I see it, no other options remain.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

"Your email account" means to tap on the name of your email account. Whatever it is listed as in the settings.
In my mail settings, one of my email accounts is a Comcast account. I tap on the Comcast name and it brings up this window.
Then I tap on the arrow under the Outgoing mail server smtp setting to get to the next window.
In the resulting window, I then tap on the arrow next to the smtp server under the Primary Server setting.
That brings up this window in which I check to make sure that my user name and password have been entered correctly. If those items are missing, enter them in the appropriate fields and then tap done.

I am having the same problem. Did turning off iCloud work? Did you just turn everything off or did you actually delete the account off your iPod?
