Agilent ESA Series Spectrum Analyzer (E4448A) - Can not initialize.

I have downloaded the drivers for the Agilent ESA series Spectrum Analyzers from NI and I am having trouble just running the initialization VI.
I am currently trying to run the VI called: agesa initialize With Options.vi on Labview 7.0 Express
This is the error I receive:
agesa Initialize With Options.viDriver Status: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Primary Error: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed.
It looks like the Spectrum Analyzer does do a few things (Changes Carrier Frequency to 50 MHz), but it's getting hung up somewhere else.
If I highlight execution, the error comes out of the Call Library Function Node elaboration output in the aforementioned VI.
Here are the settings of the VI I have:
Settings:

Option string: Simulate=0,RangCheck=1,QueryInstrStats=2,Cache=1 (The default)
Resource Name: GPIB0::16:INSTR
Any help anyone could provide would be appreciated. Keep in mind, I am fairly new at this. Thanks.

Well, I don't seem to have that option on the E4448A, here's what i do have:
System -> Config I/O ->
GPIB Address
IP Address
Host name
Subnet Mask
Gateway Address
SCPI LAN
Under System -> Config I/O -> SCPI LAN ->
SCPI Telnet
SCPI Socket
SICL Server
None of the above stuff seems applicable if I am only using GPIB?? I tried modifying some of the options above, didn't seem to help.
Here's some more information in the Error History on the Spectrum Analyzer:
-420, Query UNTERMINATED, &ltErr>
-113, Undefined header, :BAND:&ltErr&gtRES:AUTO?
The above looks like #21, and the error, #22, is right after it. Any idea what that means?
I'm going to try it on another computer... More to come!

The application can "not initialize the application's security component" and so Firefox will not open any more... PLEASE ADVISE!!

One day while trying to run the firefox application a box popped up and said:
"Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with the files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem."
Ive tried everything and even deleted and then reinstalled firefox... We miss it!!

I have a new macbook pro and an HP Deskjet D2500 series printer and i can not figure out how to do double sided (duplex) printing! any help?

How you enable double-sided printing can depend on the applications from whick you wish to print. Example: if I print to my HP PhotoSmart from Safari, I get this print dialog box:
(Edit: OOPS! Note that I forgot to switch printers when i took the scene-shots, so ignore the "Brother" reference. It's should look the same for your HP.
Note the selection labled "Safari" near the bottom. If I change that form "safari to "Layout: I get this:
Note the option for two-sided printing appears for your selection. If I print from Word, the box is different:
The "Copies & Pages" option can be changed to "Layout" when you click it, again allowing the selection of two-sided printing.
If you tell us what applciaiton is vexing you, we may be able to give better-focused information.

Based on teh model number, that should be an iPad 2. If you are not already on iOS 5 or later, you will need to plug it into a computer running a current version of itunes in order to update (updates via Wifi did not becaome available until 5).

Can not initialize the database

I have some problem with oracle 8.1.7.
I run along the instruction with the "Installation Guide", set up the oracle user, oinstall and dba group, and its relations. Also, I set up the variable as the Installation Guide says.
After preparation, I run the runInstaller, choose the "Custom", OUI copies all files to my hard disk, when Net8 configuration was complete. It's go for the process of "dbassist". In the DB configuration process, I always receive "ORACLE not available", "end-of-file on communication channel", "not logon" and "not connected to ORACLE", etc. Then, I choose "Ignore", dbassist told me "Complete", but when I run "sqlplus" or "svrmgrl", I cannot connect to the ORACLE by using internal/oracle.

I think the problem that you are facing is as simililar as what I am too. It is mainly due to the reason of Orcale 8.1.6 not being able to run on RedHat's glibc2.2. You have to get the glibc2.1 to solve your problem I can't comment much on this as I have not got mine solved yet as well. I am still trying

Disk:0 can not initialize...

We have ASA5505. And I think flash is gone away. When i try to power on, It gives me an error "Initializing disk0: cache, please wait...Failed.". And then it starts with rommon.
So whats wrong with ASA 5505, and how can i get over.

Collect the console logs and open a TAC case. It is not common, but you may have hardware damage.

Can not initialize XML parser

Can someone say how to initialize a SAX parser?
When I try to do it, a SAXException occures.
I think thats because no paser driver is loaded (as API docs say).
How can I make it work?

Hard drive - can not initialize

HI, i am trying to access and back up the data (pics) from a hard drive.
Western Digital WD3200AAJS Internal SATA drive.
The drive shows in the Computer Management, but I cannot initialize the disk, I have the error message: "Incorrect Function".
When i run diskpart , detail disk, I have the below:

Trying to acquire from Spectrum Analyzer CATV measurments.

I am using an Agilent E4402B Spectrum Analyzer and can't seem to find any code that would help on the path of acquiring data from the Spectrum Analyzer. Need to acquire Carrier level and frequency, Depth of Modulation, and aural deviation. Currently using Techtronix Spectrum Analyzer and CSS 500 software with GPIB interface. Techtronix no longer makes the software and the scope I am using is not supported any longer for calibration or repair.

Just have to go to the Instrument Driver Network and download it. An IVI driver is available here.

Viewing spectrum analyzer on LabView

I am using LabView 7.0 with agilent(HP) E4403B spectrum analyzer.
I have no problem controling and getting measurements.
How can I get on LabView the screen of the spectrum analyzer? I mean to see the screen just like if I was looking at the device itself?

I don't have any experience with this device in LabVIEW, but are you using the instrument driver? You can find that here. There are several example VI's with this driver and there might be one here for what you are wanting to do. Please repost if you have questions with the driver. Thanks!

Can not run two domains on same machine (JVM).

I have a problem with weblogic 6.x, I am trying to run multiple domains e.g examples,
mydomain, mydomain1 on the same machine (JVM) at the same time, but I can not
run all three at same time, I changed ports already on all domains, and every
one has different ports, e.g 7001, 7002, 7003, but still when one domain is running,
and I try to run other startup file by command prompt, it says, can not initialize
JVM, can some one help me to understand, why I can not run different domains at
one time, according to my knowledge, we can run multiple domains on one JVM, by
giving them differnt ports. I will appreciate your help, looking forward to your
response, thanks in advance.

X-FI Audio could not initialize dri

Hi. I have a problem with X-Fi Audio sound card. Sorry for my English. Windows can not initialize driver for this sound card. It was working well for about a week, but now something has hapened. I deleted the driver and then reinstall it, but there was no effect. I reinstall Windows- no effect too. I tried to remove my sound card from PCI slot and then set it in back, but it's still nothing. I don't know what to do. The windows message is something like that: could not initialize driver for that device (code 37). ?Maybe It's dead?I've bought it 0 days ago. I'm so sad. That's weird, don't you think? There are 3 of us with the same promblem. And this problem appeared almost in the same time. Well... I did it!!! I tried to plug sound card in another PC and I used OLD driver... and It works!!! But, then I tried to?replace that "NEW"?driver with driver that was on my X-FI CD and... It works too! In the same PCI slot! Try to reinstall driver with that old one. By the way... I don't understand that situation... maybe that problem was because of the driver... but what could have happened with driver?........... I can not use foxfire...when I try to log on, at starup of foxfire, I receive a message stating "can not initialize security componet"..and then nothing will function...just have the web page that does not work.

ESA-E Series E4402B Spectrum Analyzer, changing into talker mode

I am trying to write a driver for the E4402B Spectrum Analyzer and I am able to get give the Spectrum instruction but I am unable to retrieve any information from the spectrum. Is there a sequence of commands that allows me to retrieve information or switches the spectrum into talker mode. thank you
