Agreements revise problem

Hi!
Im using a copy of BC 'Service Agreement' and im getting an error when i 'Revise' an Agreement.
I can create an agreement and made a first revise (1.2). But when i click to revise the agreement again im getting the error:
------ (Quote from siebel.log)
ObjMgrLog     Error     4     2009-07-16 10:10:35     (SBL-DBC-00111) An error has occurred writing to a record.
Please continue or ask your systems administrator to check your application configuration if the problem persists.

If you would like to enter a new record, please ensure that the field values are unique.
From spool.sql i see that a exacly same insert query is being done fourt time in table S_ACCNT_AGR_CUT, so the keys are violated. What i could not understand is whats causing this behavior. Could you help me debuging this issue?
Thanks very much.

Look at the index S_ACCNT_AGR_CUT_U1 in tools on the table S_ACCNT_AGR_CUT.
what are the columns of that index? Then use that information to query your copy of the BC Service Agreement.
What ere the fields that map to this columns? Have you made any changes to the pre/post default entries?
Have you set or removed the no copy flag of this fields?
That should give you a start.

  • Ipod software license agreement screen problem

I am trying to agree to the software agreement but there is no continue button all I can do is click I agree and also the last 1/3rd of the screen is cut off with no horizontal slider to move to get to a continue button PLEASE HELP!!!!

I had this same problem just today. I finally found the answer on another
forum after searching for hours. I thought I'd let you know that it was my computer screen settings. I went into the control panel, then went to display, then clicked on the settings tab. Then I slid the screen resolution bar all the way to the left. It makes your display smaller so more fits onto the page.
    Hope this works!

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\10.0\AdobeViewer]
    "EULA"=dword:00000001

  • Proxy problem accesing to a URL

I'm trying to access a URL behind a proxy with password autenthication.

    can anyone help me?
    thank in advance

    Thanks a lot gunther.
But I haven't resolved the problem yet.
Proxy address and proxy port are correct because I receive a code 407 forbidden.
I'm agree the problem is the authentication with proxy.
I'm sure that my login credentials are correct, if not I can't be here writing in this forum.
    I'm using windows OS.
I configured LAN settings of my browser with my proxy address and port.
And it works fine, without manually authentication with proxy.
so I supposed that my browser use for authentication with proxy my windows account and password.
I have just tried to run The example in various way:
    - account password url
    - domain\account password url
    - domain\\account password url
    - domain/account password url
    - domain//account password url
    but it still don't work.
The problem could be that the only protocol supported by my proxy is http.
    My url is: http://www.virgilio.it
so i supposed that the protocol used is http, but i don't know how the class URL works.
The problem can be these limitation in the suported protocol of my
    Proxy?

  • S10e problem

Hi, I own a lenovo S10e for about a little over a year now. I have been very satisfied with what it does. Never had a problem with it except the one instance of some keyboard keys failing and had to send it it. This morning when i woke up, i turned on my s10e only to be shocked at a new problem. My S10e doesn't seem to boot up properly. I can clearly see that the power is on when i hit the power button  because the three LED light is shown brightly. However, my S10e doesn't even boot into the lenovo logo. I looked up this problem on various websites and see that others have had the same problem as me.
The symptoms of such problem seems eerily similar to that of a bios problem....but the problem is that i didnt mess with the bios or anything. One night it worked fine...the next morning it does not boot up at all and stuck at a black screen. I tried the solutions of taking out the battery, unplugging, and holding the power button for 30sec several times...and it does not work.
How on earth did this problem even occur...i'm a grad student and i take very good care of my computers (everything from keyboard covers, screen covers, constant anti-cirus updates, even deep-freeze to ensure total protection) now I am trying to figure out how to salvage 4 years worth of college documents along with research docs, thesis, etc.
Has anyone have a solution to this boot up problem? I like the Lenovo quality but this is ridiculus...I took very good care of my s10e (cause its my main and only computer) and yet it breaks down like this?

well....trying that didn't work either sadly. After doing more research across forums, websites, and asking colleagues. They all looked at me and asked if I flashed a bad bios...and to which i replied...no...They all agreed this problem is very eerily similar to a bad bios...or a bad motherboard. They suggested a solution they found in another board post shown below
"You need a USB floppy drive, the GOOD (HP) BIOS file (.WPH), and a utility called Crisis Recovery. The file that can be found online is 268076.exe. This exe file formats a floppy disk with a generic BIOS.WPH. You must format the floppy disk, and then rename your bios file to BIOS.WPH and write over the one that currently exists on the floppy disk. Note that my bios was ~1MB whereas the formatted bios was ~512k. Remove the battery and the power adapter from your laptop. Plug in the USB floppy drive (with disk). While holding BOTH - windows button and 'B' (it might be Fn+B for some supposedly) plug in the power adapter. While still holding the buttons, now push the power button. For my laptop there was VERY VERY LOUD beeping at this point, and the USB floppy LED comes on (signifying reading). Now you may release the buttons. After ~2 minutes, the beeping briefly stops, and the USB floppy LED light goes off. YOU MAY NOT PULL OUT THE POWER YET. Now it is still writing the bios (beeping continues). After another ~2 minutes, the beeping stops. Now you can pull the plug and put the battery in. "
I haven't tried this solution yet and would like to know if anyone else had done something similar...im actually getting to a desperate point. I already ordered a USB 2.0 enclosure but since its from china...probably wont arrive until 30 days later (-_-). If anyone else has any experience with this problem please reply.

  • How do we proceed re: Heartbleed?

I don't want to steal MadMacs0 thunder. So I'd like to open a new thread - albeit with all due respect to him.  His post , IMHO is just too important to slip through the cracks or to be potentially construed as being off-topic. Check it out > https://discussions.apple.com/message/25488206#25488206
For the sake of everyone's convienience, I will post my reply to him.
    Kudos to you MadMacs0!
Your hard work is very much appreciated. Which begs the question: How does one, using proper due diligence, arrive at intelligent and confident conclusions and by extension - viable solutions - amidst a plethora of hysteria and misinformation - albeit in juxtaposition with allegedly valid information?
How do we go about separating the wheat from the chaff when discussing said extensive associations between Apple devices, Apple servers, Apple mission critical services, Akamai servers, Akamai's "key Web-based services", etc...?
All things considered, I believe that Apple (today) released a new Apple Support Communities Use Agreement (revised 24 April 2014) in good faith, with the best of intentions and with the aim of keeping topics such as (some of) the aforementioned (e.g. Heartbleed) in context, however nebulous or convoluted they may seem.
    Best Regards and Thank You,
    mm~

Yes, Heartbleed does have a nice logo, and it's a nasty bug.
This stuff dates back to the late 1980s with the WANK worm and the Morris worm, if not earlier.   There've been many other problems since then too.  There'll be more.
Since you mention Y2K, there'll be more — 2038 is probably the next "fun" date for most folks, and I've already seen a few 2038-related bugs.
As to your question, OS X is not vulnerable to Heartbleed, it uses Secure Transport for most SSL/TLS traffic and includes an outdated version of OpenSSL (that's not vulnerable to Heartbleed) for use by legacy apps.
Client and server applications that include their own versions of OpenSSL within the vulnerable range will have to be updated.  Even on OS X.
Secure Transport has been vulnerable to attacks — the recent "goto fail" being one such example — and the older version of OpenSSL has its own issues.   OS X and iOS are also vulnerable to the (newer than Heartbleed) 3Shake SSL attack; patches for that are now available.
Older SSL is vulnerable to attacks, and newer TLS can be vulnerable.  This means that higher-security sites can need to adjust the algorithms presented, or migrate to an environment that provides the required TLS.  (For most folks, simply avoiding the worst of the available algorithms is sufficient.)
As for the realization of how many attackers and how many bugs and the rest exist, well, welcome to the Internet.   It's only going to get more nasty, too.
If you self-maintain, keep your backups current, keep some of your backups entirely isolated from your server, get yourself onto security notification lists (and Twitter can be useful for following some of the security-focused folks), keep your patches current, use multiple layers (such as firewalls, network scanners and vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection, network partitioning and other such tools, investing commensurate with your value as a target), learn current password practices (given brute-forcing password tools are getting better) and all the usual advice.   Test your recovery, too.
In short, pay (time, effort, mental focus, budget) to stay current, or pay folks to keep your servers current for you, or outsource the whole area to folks that specialize; to cloud or hosted services providers.  Expect to get pwned, too — this is part of why backups are important.   None of this is new or different or changed advice, of course.

  • Inspection Lot  in ECM

    Dear All
My client is running the business in SAP with ECM.ECM is active for material master,BOM,routing and inspection plan and for external procurement we are processing with scheduling agreement,So when ER&D is releasing the part number with revision level 1 we are uploading in material master,BOM,Routing and inspection plan with revision level one, same thing is updating in scheduling agreement and we are creating the schedule lines manually or through MRP with reference to the schedule agreement whenever we are taking the GR with reference to the schedule lines inspection lot is creating with release status with revision level one. After some time ER&D is releasing revision level 2 for the same material due to some tech.problem after that we r uploading in inspection plan,BOM with revision level 2.So,now we are taking the GR means inspection lot is creating with created status for revision level 2 because in sch.agreement we not changing the revision level. So,system is creating the inspection lot with reference to sch.Agreement revision level. Please suggest me any manual triggering or automatic option is available to affect revision level in SCH.agreement

    Dear,
Inspection lot will be created in Base unit of measure measurement only.
In material master you will get the Base Unit of Measure Unit of issue in quality view.
Then use BADI QEVA_ALT_QTY_INPUT Method PROCESS_QUANTITY
    method IF_EX_QEVA_ALT_QTY_INPUT~PROCESS_QUANTITY .
          CALL FUNCTION 'QEVA_ENTER_QUANT_IN_ALT_UNIT'
            EXPORTING
              I_QALS = i_qals
              I_RQEVA = i_rqeva
              I_QTY_NO = i_qty_no
            IMPORTING
              E_VMENGE = e_vmenge
        endmethod.
Implement method MODIFY_SCREEN with the following source code:
        method IF_EX_QEVA_ALT_QTY_INPUT~MODIFY_SCREEN .
          CALL FUNCTION 'QEVA_ALT_QTY_MODIFY_SCREEN'
            EXPORTING
              I_MATNR = i_qals-matnr
            IMPORTING
              E_UNITS_EXIST = e_value_help
        endmethod.
Activate the methods and the interface.
          Activate the implementation.
I hope it will work for you.

    Rude,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Your question is different than the one that was asked by the original poster, and you will have a better chance of getting an answer to your question if you start your very own topic.
According to Apple Discussions Use Agreement (revised 24 March 2005) Threadjack-To... post a dissimilar issue in an existing discussion, distracting from the true focus of the discussion. If your issue has any significant difference from a similar topic, then you're probably better off posting a new topic to focus attention on your particular issue.Although in this case you are not actually interfering with the focus of the discussion, the original question has been answered and even marked as "Solved." That means you will get very little, if any exposure to your own question.
Downloading and using Firefox should not create the problems you are experiencing. I am guessing from the description of your problem that you may be attempting to run Firefox from the .dmg instead of dragging the application to your Applications Folder. Firefox can coexist with Safari and should not interfere with iTunes. Unfortunately, I do not know anything about "First Class Software."
In any event, you should not uninstall Firefox until you verify that you do have a browser remaining on your system. If you have indeed deleted Safari, it can be reinstalled with the 10.3.9 Update Combo. Safari can then be Updated with 1.3.1 and 1.3.2 in sequence.
    Cheers.

  • Upgraded iTunes, now I can't get on the store.

    Does anyone know why?
      Windows XP

not without some more information than that, Jamie.
here's a few things to get you started (in lieu of us having any information whatsoever about the precise nature of your your problem).
if you've got Norton Internet Security 2005, try:
iTunes cannot connect to the Music Store or Shared Music after installing Norton Internet Security
and also see the following User tip:
Scott P: Can’t connect to Music Store or CDDB
... but if no joy, post back with some more information. here's some info from section two of the Apple Discussions Use Agreement that might help with that:
State your question clearly. Include as much information as you can about your issue. At minimum, include:
The operating system you're using and its version.
The names and versions of other relevant products.
A complete description of computer and connected peripherals.
What you were doing when you ran into this issue. Example: I'm using Mac OS X 10.3.4 on a 20-inch flat panel iMac with 768 MB of RAM and 15 GB free space on my hard disk. I have an X-brand PDA connected via its USB cradle. iCal 1.5.2 unexpectedly quits when I add an event. Tip: As in the example, a good description of your computer includes how much RAM and how much free hard disk space you have.
Apple Discussions Use Agreement (revised 24 March 2005)
if you're getting an error message, also let us know what it says. include any error message numbers if you're getting any.

  • FiOS Phone and Internet down for 2 weeks

Inbound calls: system answers with loud crackling noise, phones ring once. Sometimes the calls get sent directly to voicemail
Outbound calls: fast busy on off-hook, sometimes you can't break dialtone
    Internet service: slows down significantly
The ONT has been replaced at least 5 or 6 times, the router 3 times, and the office equipment once. The problem still recurs even if all the phones in the house have been disconnected.
I believe the problems are  consistent with a high data error rate. This would also explain why Internet is currently working while the phone is offline.Voice traffic is less tolerant of high data error rates, while Internet traffic can tolarate a few dropped packets. This high error rate could be caused by problems with the fibre drop: too small bending radus, contamination, etc.
We thought that there may be a problem with rain getting into some of the fibre splices but the last tech checked and found that all connections were dry.
There have been at least 10 different techs here and they've all come to the same conclusion: that there is a problem with the fibre drop to the house.
Any ideas (before we switch to Comcast)?

I would have to agree the problem lies in the fiber connection.  Since various VZ folks agree do they plan to replace the fiber connection from the pole to the house?  Seems like the next logical step.

  • At the end of my tether with ADSL broadband! Advic...

I have been experiencing problems with my ADSL broadband for a year. I am less than 1km from my BT exchange. I currently use an independent ISP (Zen) and my own modem (Billion BiPAC 7800N).
Symptom 1: Intermittent audible noise on voice line which is accompanied by ADSL modem randomly losing sync. The noise on the voice line sounds like crackling or someone rustling cellophane, or sometimes squeaking. If I turn off the modem or unplug it from the microfilter, the noise on the voice line generally gets quieter or stops.
Symptom 2. Intermittent modem sync loss a few seconds after picking up or putting down phone receiver.
I have tried everything I can think of: brand new modem, turning router off/on, new microfilters (x3), plugging permanently into test socket, ditched Siemens cordless phone and using BT branded corded, changed ISP, disconnecting all other household appliances when the probelm occurs. I have only the master socket, no extensions.
BT have sent engineers on 3 occasions, but the problem never occurs when they are here. They have replaced the master socket, and wiring inside my house terminating in a new black sausage connector at my fascia board. They have fiddled around on the telephone pole across the street, and in the green cabinet down the road. They have put meters on the line. But they say the line is absolutely fine. They are quite happy to close the ticket every time, even though I have not agreed the problem is resolved. Sometimes the problem recurs within hours of the engineer leaving. Yet sometimes the problem goes away for days or weeks, but has always returned.
Can anyone give any advice on getting this resolved? It is driving me, almost quite literally, insane.
I am just about to throw in the towel, cancel the BT line rental and the ISP contract, and try switching to cable, which I feel now I should have done a long time ago. BT just do not seem willing to put the effort in to get to the bottom of this problem. It would seem like common sense to agree to send an engineer out on a day when the problem is occuring, but this seems completely out of the question to such a sophisticated company.
    Thanks
    Rob

    imjolly wrote:
you can't seriously expect and engineer on standby to drive to your home immediately you phone
I am not for one moment suggesting I have a personal engineer on standby as you seem to be implying.
BT is a very large company with very many customers, and a measurable number of these have intermittent problems. Apart from myself, I have personally met quite a few in this category, and there seem to be a fair number voicing their problems on this forum.
It does not seem unreasonable to me for BT to adopt a different business process to such problems than currently. A proportion of the engineers could be in teams that respond specifically to intermitent faults and customers with such faults could expect, after a number of failed visits, to get hold of one on the day the problems are occurring. The current approach, whereby an engineer turns up many days after a customer has gone through a day of hell, with inaudible voice line and non-existent broadband, only to shrug, say no fault found, and close the ticket, is quite lamentable. It is deeply frustrating and insulting to customers in equal measure. Still, I suppose it keeps the senior management happy by minimizing outstanding fault numbers, so keeping performance bonuses intact, etc. However, it does nothing for elevating the status of BT in the eyes of customers.

  • For all iPad owners with video freezing concerns- read this first!

First of all, take a deep breath, acknowledge that it is not your fault, and there is nothing you can do with the software to fix it. It is a hardware problem, most likely video chip related, that is ONLY solved with replacement. I have had several discussions with senior tech support who won't say exactly what the cause is, but admit that there is nothing a user can do to fix the problem other than replacement. Which they will happily provide. This is where it gets tricky.
If you are like me, you can't live a day without your iPad, even though you also have a smart phone, a net book and a laptop....if I can admit it, so can you. So if your local store has a brown box replacement for your model, go in and get it replaced, and you are done. Most of the time, this will fix the issue because they test these ones first. If you are like me and your store does not have a replacement for your wifi only model, then you have to either drop yours off and wait for a replacement to be shipped in 4-5 business days, or purchase apple care where they will hot swap a new iPad with you with overnight to your doorstep. This is the way to go and here is why: you can't be without your iPad and you won't be. AppleCare is $100 that is fully refundable at a pro rated time period. So you have it for 1 week and then cancel it. Cost of use? Should be about $2. And the experience is seamless. This is just my opinion, but it worked for me!

    taffytafftaf,
Agreed; The problem might very well be a hardware one. After all, these symptoms are very weird. It's undoubtedly a great phone. The main reason I bought it was to have the first decent looking WCDMA phone out there (that works in Europe) and I still quite like it.
To tell you the truth though, I was going to replace it with a 8GB N91, until I tried one yesterday. It's way too bulky, actually the dimensions seem weird - nothing like my old 8850. The HDD explains everything, but I really don't need another DAP or a pocket drive, so it won't quite do.
I'll take your advice and take the 6630 to my nearest NSC. Hopefully they'll be able to revive it. If not, I'll replace it with something very small.
    "Good luck"
    Thanks, I'll need it!
    mbamg,
I think it's a case of "what goes around, comes around". You've obviously taken good care of your phone, whereas I haven't. I definitely should've taken it to a NSC to be updated. These problems, as mentioned above, might also have something to do with the hardware, as the phone has taken some unintended abuse during the years. We'll just have to wait and see.
The original RS-MMC card was in the phone when it was updated. After that the phone claimed it was faulty. Other cards don't seem to work either. Unfortunately formatting them didn't help.
I still partially blame the NSU, since these problems didn't surface until the software was supposedly "successfully updated". My 6630 is a bad combo of possibly damaged hardware and new firmware.
Thanks once again for your input guys, I really appreciate it!
