AI cannot load plugin

I am under developement of a plugin.
The plugin used to get loaded upto the recent times.
AI gives a message "Error loading plugins XXXX.aip" with no further details.
Code is with no compilation error (of course )
Have anybody a clue of what might be a potential reason for this ??

Bleh. There are a lot of reasons that could cause that, and there's no easy "Just do this" answer unfortunately. When I get that, the first thing I usually do is rebuild the whole plugin just to make sure. Once in a long while that helps, but not usually. Next, you need to check whatever output you can find. Sometimes there's a clue in there. On Windows, you can look at the output and if your plugin requires a bunch of support DLLs, you can see where they all start to get loaded; if suddenly during that list the output indicates that they're suddenly 'Unloading', that might mean the next DLL (one that was *not* shown as 'Loading') might be your problem. Then I'd break out Depends, and look at the AIP to see if there's something missing. I don't know what the equivilant on Mac would be, but presumably there's something similar.
Next, again on Windows, I'd check the Event Viewer. I think its under Application events, but you might find that you're running into a SideBySide error, which essentially means you need to install the correct run time. If this is happening in Debug, that wouldn't be your problem, but if you're trying to run a compiled plugin on another machine, it might be this.
Lastly, I'd put a breakpoint in the entry point of the plugin and see if you're getting even that far. If you are, its a code issue and you can step through. If you don't even get that far, it's probably one of the things above somehow.

  • Cannot load plugin problem in idesign cs3

    Hi ,
I am using MySQL Connector/C++ for connecting my indesign cs3 plugin to mysql database. The plugin created successfully.
But i load this plugin in idesign cs3 it raise the following assertion:
    Cannot load plugin pluginname.pln
    ..\.\.\source\omlib\plugins\WPluginListUtils.cpp(159)
How do i solve this assertion. Please provide a solution.
    Thanks,
    saravanan.

InDesign cannot directly open Quark files later than version 4 due to encryption. If your files are from a later version you can use the Q2ID plugin from Markzware.

  • I have just installed CS6 Master collection but indesign isn't working, when opening I get the message "Cannot load Assignment UI.InDesign because it requires Username. Please install the Username plugin and restart InDesign." not sure what to do next?

I have successfully installed the CS6 master collection and all the programs seem to be working apart from InDesign. When opening it I get the message "Cannot load Assignment UI.InDesign because it requires Username. Please install the Username plugin and restart InDesign.". I have no idea what to do next?

Many people use a font manager to organize a large collection of fonts, and sometimes these cause problems in ID. You might not realize that the font manager has installed a plugin in ID, but I think you would know if you added any other program extensions to help you work.
Can you show us a new crash report since the 8.0.2 update?
What happens if you start the Mac with the Shift key held down to prevent extensions from loading? What happens if you go to the System settings and create a new user, then restart the Mac and log in with the new user?

  • Cannot load InDesign CC 2014 - DynamicDocuments Plugin Required

I came into the office this morning and discovered my InDesign CC 2014 wouldn't open and I got this message:
"Cannot load Adobe InDesign CC 2014 because it requires DynamicDocuments. Please install the DynamicDocuments plug-in and restart InDesign."
I then proceeded to unistall InDesign, empty trash, then reinstall via the Creative Cloud App, only to have the error still be there.
    I'm running Apple OS 10.10
    Help,
    Thanks
    Jonathan

Tried this with no results. Still getting the same ""Cannot load Adobe InDesign CC 2014 because it requires DynamicDocuments. Please install the DynamicDocuments plug-in and restart InDesign" message. I've checked and the plugin is inside the Graphics folder.
    And YES, I've rebooted.

  • Error loading plugins CC 2014

I have build a plugin with AI SDK CC 2014 on Win 7.
But the plugin cannot be loaded by one customer (CC2014 18.1.0, Win7 ultimate 64-bit).  Only a message pops up with 'Error loading plugins xxx.aip'. The plugin works fine on other machines with the same configuration.
The function PluginMain() is not called by AI and I cannot find any information why.
Is there a kind of logging available on AI side to analyze problems while loading plugins?

Joe, Unfortunately your symptoms are slightly different than the original posters. Bunny's issue is odd because the plug-in loads on some machines and not others. I'm afraid I'm stumped there.  But Joe, I think we could help you if we had some more information about the process you went through to get your samples loaded. It really could be a lot of things at this point. And it would help to know if you're developing on a windows or mac OS, etc. Did you follow the procedures in the "Getting Started Guide" in the docs folder of the SDK?

  • Error loading plugins. AISaveForWeb.aip

The problem with my computer set to Adobe Illustrator CS5.
20/10/1910 after injection of regular updates adobovskih Illustrator crash when started
starts at the registration window. Since I still trial version, then all these
days to choose it and the program loaded and worked fine. After it was decided
reinstall the trial version, downloaded from the official. site, today it
delivered. Now the program opens, but when you open a message is
    Error loading plugins. AISaveForWeb.aip DxfDwg.aip PNGFileFormat.aip
and takes off after the first save (Ctrl S).
    Sorry for my English

    First Quit Illustrator CS 5
    then
C:\Users\Max\AppData\roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5 Settings trash the whole folder
then you have to find the Adobe Illustrator plist files I do not know where they are located on the Windows platform
or if they are called something different or even exist.
If that does not work and you cannot find the plist or equivalent then use the uninstaller and remove Illustrator trash the settings folder
clear out any cache files associated with CS 5, the cache files are usually located in a directory called Application support in a folder called Cache.
Also any folders associated with Illustrator CS 5 in the Application Support folder called Adobe.
Sorry I do not know where these folders are or if they are called the same thing on the windows platform.
And of course it is nowhere to be found on the web.
If you cannot find these files just trash the stuff you can after uninstalling and dumping the settings folder.
Yu can also do a search for Adobe Illustrator CS 5 on your computer after the uninstall there should be nothing related to Adobe Illustrator CS 5 left on the computer. I would also before doing any of this deactivate Illustrator CS 5.
    The restart your computer.
BTW have you updated AI CS 5 and or Windows by any chance?

All of sudden firefox would not work. When I click on the icon, I get a message that says Firefox cannot load, your profile is missing or is inaccessiable. and are ready-to-use.
NOTE: If you have a generator tool to create the corresponding Java classes
for you, you could include the details in the "form-bean" declarations.
Otherwise, you would only define the "form-bean" element itself, with the
corresponding "name" and "type" attributes, as shown here.

    Hello,
thanks for your contribution. But how I already said we have seen that the first error message:
The error is: javax.servlet.UnavailableException: Cannot load a validator resource from '/WEB-INF/validator-rules.xml,/WEB-INF/validation.xml'
But behind that message is an additional message that describes the real root cause of the problem:
    SEVERE: Cannot find resource "org/apache/commons/digester/xmlrules/digester-rules.dtd"
    org.apache.commons.digester.xmlrules.XmlLoadException: Cannot find resource
    "org/apache/commons/digester/xmlrules/digester-rules.dtd"
Unfortunately we have no idea why the dtd file can not be loaded. The appropriate line of code is:
    getClass().getResourceAsStream("<link_to_resource")
And this returns a NULL object. The NULL object causes the general exception and finishes the instantiation of Struts.
    Any additonal hints?
    Regards, Maik

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

You can try to reset (power off/on) the router.

  • Error on opening repository (cannot load class)

    Hi,
Whenever i try to open repository (or directory) from the tools page i get an error report saying:
    "Cannot load class sun/plugin/javaruntime.
The bridge was installed at <C:\progra~1\java\jre15.0_0> but the class is no there.
Modify the registry key (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\javasoft\jave Plug-in) to reflect the new bridge lcoation OR change your CLASSPATH to include the new directory."
If i click the message away the repository will still start up, it just takes a bit longer.
I'd still like to get rid of this pop-up though, but am not sure what has changed for this now to happen, nor am I sure how to modify the system in the proper way.
    Help be appreciated
    Robert

    Hi all
I looked up the jdk 1.4.2 at sun.jave.com.
I can still download this version, but it's pretty outdated, and has actually reached its end-of lifecycle as per October 30 2008, which is almost 2 months ago.
I wonder if it would be a good idea to still install this version, and also ask myself the question whether this would be an approach that SAP itself would advise, nor indeed if they havent come up with a different approach?
    Any ideas about this?
