AIA FP 2.4 on SOA suit 10.3.1.4 clustered environment
Hi
I am trying to install the FP on top of my SOA 10.1.3.4 MLR5. This is a clustered environment.
As described, one should install the FP with ant on the admin member, with ant --noconfig FPInstall.xml
But it keeps failng at deploy AIAReadJMSNotificationProcess with ORABPEL-12529
It says it misses some adapters :
AdapterFrameworkImpl::endpointActivation - Endpoint Activation Error.
The Resource Adapter was unable to activate the endpoint :{} due to the following reason: ORABPEL-12529
ManagedConnectionFactory problem.
Could not instantiate ManagedConnectionFactory oracle.tip.adapter.jms.JmsManagedConnectionFactory due to:
Missing class: oracle.tip.adapter.jms.JmsManagedConnectionFactory
Dependent class: oracle.tip.adapter.fw.wsdl.WSDLUtils
Loader: oracle.bpel.common:10.1.3
Code-Source: /opt/oracle/product/10.1.3/assoa/bpel/lib/orabpel.jar
Configuration: <code-source> in /opt/oracle/product/10.1.3/assoa/j2ee/oc4j_soa/config/server.xml
This load was initiated at orabpel.root:0.0.0 using the Class.forName() method.
The missing class is not available from any code-source or loader in the system.
Please make sure the corresponding JCA Resource Adapter has been deployed.
Please correct the reported issue and redeploy the BPEL process.
These adapters are installed in the oc4j_esbdt as the install guide on soa clustering describes, and I think the deployment expects it to be in the oc4j_soa. Am I right? Does anyone know how to overcome these issues?
kind regrds
Michel
Hi Michel,
I found the solution myself
Just manually deploy the adapters in oc4j_soa the same as in oc4j_esbdt, now deployment goes ok.
Please excuse my ignorance. How do you manually deploy the adapters as mentioned above? Please give the details.
Thanks,

AIA 2.4 installation on SOA suite 10.1.3.4 with Weblogic 9.2 MP3
Hi
I am trying to install AIA 2.4 on SOA suite 10.1.3.4 with Weblogic 9.2 MP3.
I could successfully install SOA suite 10.1.3.4 with Weblogic 9.2 MP3 and applied MLR # 9 Patch as well.
I am looking for document reference(step by step document) To install AIA 2.4 on weblogic.
When i used AIA 2.4 installer it was asking for OPMN port/OC4J instance name. Is there any other AIA 2.4 Installer for weblogic server?
ThanksOf course, seeing 2.x I mistakenly thought PIPs as AIA Foundation Pack is now current version of 11gR1. Anybody wishing to install AIA Foundation Pack, especially with WLS should use 11gR1.
Can you elaborate on the reason you are electing to go with an older version of both AIA Foundtion Pack and SOA Suite? -
Installing AIA 11g on top of SOA Suite 11g
I have installed SOA Suite 11g (11.1.1.5) as per Oracle Installation Guide. The installation is successful and SOA Suite 11g is working fine!
Now I need to installa AIA 11g.
1) Currently I have Oracle XE database. Do I need to uninstall it and install Oracle 11g DB?
2) If yes, do I need to uninstall SOA Suite and install it again after DB installation?
Please advise.
ThanksIts always better to have Oracle 11g database, against XE database.
You dont need to uninstall the SOA 11g, just make sure you have the Compatible Oracle 11g database version, create the RCU, then you have to point all the JNDI which is available in SOA 11g to new database.
Check in metalink.oracle.com. You should get a note explaining, about how to change the RCU pointing.
Thanks,

Install AIA 2.5 FP on SOA Suite 11g
Hi ,
Can we install AIA Foundation pack 2.5 on SOA Suite 11g?
Regards,
SamSee the AIA certification at http://www.oracle.com/applications/aia-platform-certifications.pdf Full support of 11g with AIA Foundation Pack is targeted for the next release. 2.5 does allow you to deploy the EOL on 11g, but AIA runs on 10g.

The Resource Adapter was unable to activate the endpoint :{} due to the following reason: ORABPEL-12561
Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via WSDL port element jca:address.
*The Adapter Framework is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the WSDL jca:address element: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/wsdl/jca/}address: location='eis/Jms/AIA_ERROR_JMS'*
The reason for this is most likely that either
*1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic J2EE Application server or*
*2) the JNDI location setting in the WebLogic JCA deployment descriptor has not been set to eis/Jms/AIA_ERROR_JMS. In the last case you might have to add a new 'connector-factory' entry (connection) to the deployment descriptor.*
Please correct this and then restart the BPEL/WebLogic Application Server
Please correct the reported issue and redeploy the BPEL process.
Please help.pls see http://bit.ly/ozJqoz , in case you have missed some steps.

SOA suite composite interdependency
Hi All,
I am facing a typical problem. We have AIA FP on top of SOA suite 11g (11.1.1.5). Here when we call a provider ABCS ( a BPEL composite) from EBS (a mediator composite) rather than providing direct endpoint in the reference we refer the concrete WSDL from MDS. The reason is if after restart all EBS composite becomes disabled as it does not find the reference of provider ABCS (in many cases provider ABCS is loaded after EBS).
This is working quite well for us. But lately I am seeing too many concrete WSDL are loaded in MDS. Where contents are same only endpoints are different.
What is the best practice of managing this? is there any way we can manage the composite loading order during server restart?
RegardsHi,
The best practice is to keep the abstract WSDLs in MDS.
During design time( while creating the EBS in jDeveloper ), refer the WSDL in MDS rather tha giving the endpoint directly.
In composite.xml, give the actual endpoint.
Find and example as below in composite.xml of an EBS where the provider name is InvokeIRUSyncProjectListPrimeveraProvABCS( The bold one is actual endpoint and the italic one is the one in MDS).
<reference name="InvokeIRUSyncProjectListPrimeveraProvABCS"
ui:wsdlLocation="+oramds:/apps/KACST/AIA/WSDL/ABCS/PRIMAVERA/IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl.wsdl+">
<interface.wsdl interface="http://xmlns.oracle.com/ABCSImpl/P6/Core/IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl/V1.0#wsdl.interface(IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl)"/>
<binding.ws port="http://xmlns.oracle.com/ABCSImpl/P6/Core/IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl/V1.0#wsdl.endpoint(IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl/IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl_pt)"
location="*http://taisirsit.kacst.edu.sa:8001/soa-infra/services/aia-abcs-P6/IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl/IRUSyncProjectListP6ProvABCSImpl?WSDL*"
soapVersion="1.1">
<property name="weblogic.wsee.wsat.transaction.flowOption"
type="xs:string" many="false">WSDLDriven</property>
</binding.ws>
</reference>
If u follow the process above, there will be no problem during restart of servers.
Kindly note that always keep the ABSTRACT wsdl in MDS rather than concrete one -
Oracle SOA Suite vs oracle Application Integration Architecture
HI,
Oracle soa suite provides the environment to make use of existing service by providing oracle adapters including Legacy,package and application adapters. futher which suituation and why need to use oracle AIA in order to make use existing resources. am little bit confuse both of this approach over integration.
can anyone clear my doubt
regards
ashok.vwhen your integration is for integrating standard applications such as EBusiness uite,Siebel,SAP,Fusion Apps etc.For those application either the standard PIPs are available or at least industry specific or application specific EBOs are delivered by Oracle,then you can go for AIA.
For small integrations SOA suite is sufficient. -
Deployment / Configuration Scenarios for SOA Suite
Probably this should be posted in the Fusion 11g Middleware thread, but I am looking for information on how an installation of SOA Suite 11g would look like.
I have have the following requirements:
- A development environment that supports 3 parallel projects.
- A testing environment that supports integration testing.
- A production environment.
First I was thinking about a single SOA Suite installation per project & environment (5). But then I thought Domains and Managed Servers - everything can go into a single SOA Suite with seperation on Domains.
Is there anywhere I can get som architecture overview for how a typical SOA Suite is installed in a working environment that supports multiple projects, integration testing and finally production?
Thanks in advance,

How to install AIA in Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0
Hi,
I have installed Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0. It works fine . Now I want to install AIA Foundation Pack on this . How to do that ? Which AIA version I need to download ? and what are the steps that I have to follow to make AIA works on it .
ThanksAs per the certification matrix at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/fusion-certification-100350.html --> Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.x) -->System Requirements and Supported Platforms for Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gR1 --> Download the xls file --> On sheet FMW on WLS - System you should be able to see AIA FP and SOA certified combinations.
To download the installer goto - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/foundation-pack/downloads/index.html --> Release 11gR1 (11.1.1.5.0) --> Select the platform and expand Prerequisites & Recommended Install Process.
You should be able to gather all the required information from here.
Hope it helps! -
