AIR app :: Channel.Call.Failed faultString:'error' faultDetail:'NetConnection.Call.Failed:
I have built an AIR app using ColdFusion 8.01 as the backend. I am getting this error occasionally on Remote Object calls. My suspicion is that the Channel being used by the RemoteObject is timing out. I'm not bothering to configure the Channel separately, I'm just going with the default that is part of the RemoteObject.
I'm using Cairngorm, with a ServiceLocator and my thought is that I could separately define my channel from the RemoteObject declaration and listen for timeout events on the Channel and refresh the Channel if it times out.
I'd be really interested in anyone's feedback on this issue.
Jeff
Hi,
Can you please try tracing the FaultEvent.fault.rootCause
object and see if there is any error message. Usually exceptions
thrown from the server is available in this rootCause object.
Hope this helps.

I keep on getting this error while connecting to amfphp. Any idea what might be the problem?
Code:
private function init(e:Event = null):void
responder = new Responder(onResult, onFault);
connection = new NetConnection;
connection.connect(gateway);
sendData_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, getData);
private function getData(event:MouseEvent):void
connection.call("UserVO.getUserData", responder);
private function onResult(result:Object):void
trace("Result");
private function onFault(fault:Object):void
trace("Fault");I am testing the HelloWorld AMFPHP example from AMFPHP's website. There's a strange problem though. If i run the application from within the Flash IDE, I get this error:
Error #2044: Unhandled NetStatusEvent:. level=error, code=NetConnection.Call.BadVersion
at Main()
But if I publish the application and run it in browser, it runs fine. What might be the problem? -

Android Air App using AdMob "NULL Object" Error?!?
Hi,
I am currently developing an app using adobe air flashbuilder and I have incorporated AdMob type html adverts into it. The Adverts do come up nicely however if I run the app in debug mode I get this error:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at model::AdMob/createAd()[C:\Users\Jack\Documents\Dropbox\Projects\App\App Final\src\model\AdMob.as:37]
The Ads do still work regardless of this however this is then affecting other elements within the app so I would like to get rid of the error that is happening. Below is my code in the "AdMob.as" file where I believe the issue to be occuring, can someone please help me with this?

I have had creative cloud for over a month now and have not been able to get the thing to work. I have spent around 2 and a half days onto the technical support. I have tried it on two different laptops the second I brought to replace my old one as the first stopped working after the tech support had been messing with it. So I have tried it on Windows 7 and now Windows 8.1.
After around 3 days onto the tech support I now have working copies of Photoshop and In Design. These were installed via work arounds! I still cant use creative cloud.
I have tried to use the laptops on two different networks my home system and that at my university.
I extremely frustrated by this as I am a student and am paying a lot for something which just seems to be useless. I also had to borrow a friends computer to do my assignments after spending 2 days wasted trying to get the thing working, so it is effecting my studies.
Does any body know how I can sort this problem as the technical support seem to just be bodging things and the system is next to useless?
My Lap top is running Windows 8.1 64bit. It has plenty of space available on the HDD and loads of RAM so should be no issues there.
The virus protection is Kapersky but have tried with this disabled and also tried with McAfee on as laptop originally had this installed.Sarahb50875234 I am sorry you are facing difficulty using the Creative Cloud Desktop application. Do you receive any specific error messages? What type of behavior are you experiencing? You mentioned installing under Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 was this on two separate laptops or did you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1?
Finally you mentioned you spoke with a member of our support team. Do you have a case number which I can reference? -
Hi, I'm currently experiencing a problem with some VMs in a Hyper-V 2012 R2 failover cluster using Fiber Channel adapters with Virtual SAN configured on the hyper-v hosts.
I have read several articles about this issues like this ones:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/baca348d-fb57-4d8f-978b-f1e7282f89a1/synthetic-fibrechannel-port-failed-to-start-reserving-resources-with-error-insufficient-system?forum=winserverhyperv
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/18698.hyper-v-virtual-fibre-channel-troubleshooting-guide.aspx
But haven't been able to fix my issue.
The Virtual SAN is configured on every hyper-v host node in the cluster. And every VM has 2 fiber channel adapters configured.
All the World Wide Names are configured both on the FC Switch as well as the FC SAN.
All the drivers for the FC Adapter in the Hyper-V Hosts have been updated to their latest versions.
The strange thing is that the issue is not affecting all of the VMs, some of the VMs with FC adapters configured are live migrating just fine, others are getting this error.
Quick migration works without problems.
We even tried removing and creating new FC Adapters on a VM with problems, we had to configure the switch and SAN with the new WWN names and all, but ended up having the same problem.
At first we thought is was related to the hosts, but since some VMs do work live migrating with FC adapters we tried migrating them on every host, everything worked well.
My guess is that it has to be something related to the VMs itself but I haven't been able to figure out what is it.
Any ideas on how to solve this is deeply appreciated.
Thank you!

I made a CF/Flex site based on the Flexstore sample app,
using a database instead of XML as the data source; in case you
want to see it:
http://www.timos.com/dg/flex/DilemmaGames.html
At first I had troubles similar to what you describe;
initially, part of the problem was that my hosting company had not
yet upgraded to CF 7.02. One other thing I had to correct: when you
upload to your server, upload the entire ‘bin’ (or
whatever your output folder is) minus the debug SWF.
If it would help with other issues, contact me and I will be
glad to make my project code available to you. Good luck.

Error while transporting objects:Internal error during pvc call: Parameter
Dear all,
We are facing the following error while transporting the individual configuration objects from our PI development system.
Export failed: Internal error during pvc call: Parameter versionSpecifier or version has the invalid value null .
However, it works fine when the complete configuration scenario is transported.
We tried to transport the objects with different user id's, even then the issue still exists.
Any inputs to resolve this will be highly helpful.
Thank you,
YounusHi Mohammed,
Answer is inside this oss [Note 1554387 - Error during export from Integration Directory|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1554387]. In this oss note, solution is to apply a patch (just a patch, not a SP). as it's a litle sap bug...
Note: your issue is also explained with picture in this one "1550549 - PI transport: Internal error during pvc call" (sorry for this one I cannot insert a link)

USMT Errors - Request to SMP failed with error 0x80004005
The client I am at we are working on using USMT integrated with their OSD task sequence. Yesterday we setup a State Migration Point on the DP that is located at this office. We ran a task sequence for testing purposes that just basically does the Scan
State. The few machines we tested this task sequence on successfully completed the task.
This morning we have tried some more testing and now the task doesn't work. The job fails at the point where it is requesting user store space. The log files shows that it knows about the SMP and that it request access but it fails and continues
on trying to find another available SMP.
The first few attempts the errors are based on "Failed to connect to
\\SERVER.DOMAIN\SMPSTORED_241ADE445 (53)
"Cannot connect to http://SERVER.DOMAIN SMP root share"
"Request to SMP 'http://SERVER.DOMAIN' failed with error (Code 0x80004005) Trying next SMP.
"SMP request to 'http://server.domain" failed with error: E_SMPERROR_ENCRYPTKEY_EMPTY (103)
"ClientKeyRequestToSMP failed (0x80004005)
We have removed the SMP and have re-added it.
