If you meant Mac Pro, there are none that qualify for AirPlay Mirroring (the one in the menu bar that mirrors the entire display).
Apple implemented AirPlay Mirroring using special hardware inside the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) to encode the video on the fly into the form needed by the AppleTV. Only the newest few models have GPUs with that special hardware, and the Mac Pro has not been updated to use those GPUs yet.

I am trying to get air play mirroring working on my mid 2011 Mac book pro and Apple TV 3 (latest one) with mountain lion. I have the icon, it seems to connect to each other, and the screen shows up on my apple TV, yet it doesnt update, takes a long time to show up at all, just keeps showing the same screen. However, the audio works fine, I tried to play a Xfinity stream through safari, the video didnt show up on apple TV but the sound came through with no delay. Any ideas?

basically I think i either have some virus or this is the result of that stupid update I did... I know i did that keyboard one an itunes one a quicktime one and there might've been another.

Can i get some help to pair my mac book pro and streaming it through airplay with apple tv? i went through settigs and then display and when it says show mirroring option ecc it is ticked in but nothing happened nothing appear above that as airplay or something

MY IMAC is from mi-2011; it should have the air play recopie video : I can not see it on my mac but air play is wirking only for audio; I can not watch the screen of my Imac on my TV Why?

HP Support site suggests that with the current Mavericks OS X 10.9.x
their drivers should be available through Apple Software Updates:

However that may be limited to certain models of printers or scanners that
already had been known to be working under OS X as of that date in a

You may be able to get a deal on a new printer as they are rapidly obsoleted.
PS: edit to add... there was a Gutenprint driver reference for T65 Printer here:

Yet a driver for ancient Leopard 10.5.x may not be suitable for Mavericks 10.9.x
but the Gutenprint lead may be helpful to locate whatever may exist; or not.

Air Play is no longer working correctly from either my Mac Air or iPad.

Air Play does not appear to be working correctly.
Yesterday I tried to access my ZEP Air using Air Play from my iPad (3rd Gen), and neither the Zep Air or my Airport Express were shown. I checked that all software was up to date, and that all devices were on the same network, but no joy. I was however able to use Air Play through my iPhone5, which picked up all devices, and I was able to play music through my Zep Air.
I have now tried to use Air Play with Apple TV using both my iPad and Mac Air. When I select Apple TV on my iPad, and turn on the Apple TV, nothing happens, and I do not get the normal mirroring option. Using the Mac Air, I can switch on mirroring with the Apple TV, and see my screen on the TV, but again I cannot access the ZEP Air or see the Airport Express. Apple TV has '86' in brackets at the side
My Apple TV device shows both the ZEP Air and Airport Express, and the Airport Utility shows all devices working correctly and software up to date.
I have Norton for Mac installed, and have just checked with a Norton technician - using remote access - that Norton isn't blocking any access through the firewall, and everything appears to be OK.
Interestingly, I called in to my local Apple Store (Sheffield UK) as I'm interested in an iPad Air 2, and I asked whether they were aware of any issues following OS X Yosemite and iOS 8. I took my iPad and it didn't show the Air Play icon at all in store, and the representative I saw, wasn't aware of any issues. Before I organise to see a 'genius' at the Sheffield store I wondered whether anyone has recently had experience of this problem? If so, is there a fix I can try?

CORRECTION: Whenever I click on: "SEND" on my iPhone I DO hear the audio send prompt and I DO see the email listed in the "SENT" folder within the email program soooooooooo it appears to me that the emails ARE sent. I just do NOT receive them. I have even tried going into the SENT folder and opening an email and trying to forward it to myself WITHOUT any success.
Maybe this will shed some new light on the problem.

I'm a great believer in the KISS principle.
Configuration is simple if you start from a factory default condition. Then connect the Airport to AC power and finally to the Internet modem (or modem/router). Open Airport Utility on your Mac or other computer and accept all of the recommendations EXCEPT as noted on the first graphic below. After confirming that it works, insert your desired administrative and WiFi passwords. AirPlay is a separate selection. Refer to second graphic below.
Do not expect the Airport to respond instantly to the configuration commands. BE PATIENT!

stevie, a third party app called airparrot will give you the pretty much the same as mirroring and forks on Macs too old to mirror.

My iPhone5 is my wifi hot spot for my mac mini computer and iPad. I live in a rural area. Will this be sufficient to run apple tv and air play?
