Aircrack-ng beta 2 -r option fails

hi all,
first post to this forum ...
i recently upgraded to beta 2 of aircrack-ng suite.
when I attempt to compute the WPA key from an airolib database, using syntax: aircrack-ng -r dbname file.cap
the program exits immediately with no error message??
using the wpa.cap file and the passphrases.db file furnished in the test folder
of the airocrack-ng code, everything works fine.
but when i create my own db using airolib-ng, and import both the password and essid
used in wpa.cap, it fails again...
does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

Whoops, I guess this newbie needs to learn to RTFM. DarkCerberus's comment led me to the wiki page on Wine, which addresses my problem word-for-word under Graphics Drivers.

CRVS2010 Beta 2 - "Database Logon failed" Error, after Upgrade

Generally: we are using the Crystal Reports in combination with a DataSet, that is filled during runtime and pushed to the report, using "SetDataSource". The Project is an ASP .NET 3.5 Project, published on our server.
I upgraded my development-machine to CRVS2010 (installed both packages - the CRVS for VS 2010 and the runtime) last week and changed some fields in the Report. The DataSet was left unchanged. Everything is working well on my development-machine, but when I publish the Project to our server, I get an "Databse Logon failed" Error, when I want to create my Report. The CRVS2010 Beta 2 redist Runtime is installed on our server. Here is the code, we use:

I already tried everything, found googling the web and/or searching this forum:
e.g.: perform "verify Database" on all Reports and map the DataSet.xsd again to the Report
Is that a known issue on the Beta and we should wait for the RC, or does anyone have an idea how to fix that one?

Flexunit 4.1 beta 1 ant task fails if SDK or project dir contains spaces

downloaded FlexUnit 4.1 beta 1 for its directory scanning and test loading support. found a problem - if either the SDK dir (e.g. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\4.0.0) or the project dir (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\flexuser\My Documents\mike\Adobe Flash Builder 4\AntFlexUnit4.1betaSampleCIProject) contain spaces, the flexunit ant task will fail, as the following output indicates:

everything worked fine if i relocated both the SDK and project dir. unfortunately most of our developers use SDK and project directories with spaces.

@mike - Ok I've updated my fork @ http://github.com/blegros/flexunit with the fix. If you don't want to build from source, you can download the flexunit.zip file from my fork and just pull the Ant task out to use temporarily. You can find the artifact from my fork's build @ http://flexunit.digitalprimates.net:8080/view/Contributors/job/blegros/lastSuccessfulBuild /artifact/flexunit.zip.

Which is better or 'standard' option for a Delta DTP request

I am creating a delta DTP for loading HR Payroll data. While creating the DTP I see two options
a) Only Get Delta once
b) Get all new data request by request
which is a better option if I have a lot of records to upload for every delta upload.

i. With Only Get Delta Once, define if the source requests should be transferred only once.
Setting this flag ensures that the content of the InfoProvider is an exact representation of the source data.
A scenario of this type may be required if you always want an InfoProvider to contain the most recent data for a query, but technical reasons prevent the DataSource on which it is based from delivering a delta (new, changed or deleted data records). For this type of DataSource, the current data set for the required selection can only be transferred using a full update.
In this case, a DataStore object cannot normally be used to determine the missing delta information (overwrite and create delta). If this is not logically possible because, for example, data is deleted in the source without delivering reverse records, you can set this flag and perform a snapshot scenario. Only the most recent request for this DataSource is retained in the InfoProvider. Earlier requests for the DataSource are deleted from the (target) InfoProvider before a new one is requested (this is done by a process in a process chain, for example). They are not transferred again by the DTP delta process. When the system determines the delta when a new DTP request is generated, these earlier (source) requests are considered to have been retrieved

CUPS print job options fail when called from lp (UNIX command line)

Under Leopard this command-line print request fails to respect the specified job options:
lp -o number-up=2 -o page-border=double <filename>
Though it worked great in Tiger, the number-up and page-border job options are now disregarded. I have tried lots of things (and wasted lots of paper) such as setting them permanently with lpoptions (and they do appear changed when the lpoptions command is repeated), using lpr instead of lp, reinstalling the printer via the CUPS localhost web interface, enabling non-Bonjour scanning with the hack to the CUPS preference file, deselecting "Last Printer Used" for the default printer in the System Preferences -- nope.
I have not tried other job options; I assume that whatever is breaking these two is breaking all the others, and even if it isn't, these two are what I want.
Is something new in Leopard overriding lpoptions job options? How do I make it stop? It is sooooo aggravating when something that used to work fine breaks. The printer is an HP LaserJet 4000N connected by Ethernet and discovered with AppleTalk.

However it did not help. With or without the "-p printername" argument lpoptions does make a persistent change to its own data:

none of them show the results of these option settings (and somewhere in the forest another tree is cut down).

Better slide show options iWeb 08 ?

In iWeb 06 I used to manipulate the slideshow assets folder to use slideshows that were better (in my opinion) than the standard iWeb option. Can someone point me in the direction to do this in iWeb 08?
I really do not like how small the slideshow images are (even if I click the "full screen" option) in iWeb 08... it makes the whole slideshow full screen but the images are still relatively tiny in the middle of the screen. On a 23" monitor this is not a big deal but on a laptop or similar the images are way too small.
I like all the other aspects of the iWeb 08 slideshow but wish the photos would render in full screen or at least larger than the current version...
help!!!!

iweb photos page and slideshow is javascript/AJAX driven, so no longer can you manipulate Slideshow_assets folder.
But that does not mean it is impossible, but you need to know javascript, DOM, iweb generated code and slideshow code (they are all different).

Note: easy with those slideshows, they need time to process... because they take two pass to process, first iweb javascript, second my javascript. So wait a bit for thing to settle.

Sync Option fails on my 6630

Hi,
I installed the last release of PC Suite (6.82.22 italian language) and all features look like running. I can browse contact, install applications and send SMS for instance.
When I try to sync contacts and calendar with my Outlook files I get a very short error message. I can select the phone, change the setting, etc.
this strange behaviour is common to 3 different PC (one of them never installed previous version of pc-suite).
Nevertheless I removed the installation, run PC Suite Cleaner and re-installed the package. No change.
My configuration is:
Windows XP SP2
PIM Outlook
phone Nokia 6630 (Cable and BT connection)
can anybody help me ?

Hi miksu ... I did all the tests.
I checked one by one the three options ... all of them fail in the same way.
I did 5 reboot ... no changes.
the RegPCSuiteComponents.bat script produced the following error messages (please consider that it was run on a PC with Blutooth hw and the BT connection is OK):

When I uninstalled PC Suite 6 the folder in Program Files was not there.
Finally when I try to access my contacts on the phone through PC SUite function it works perfectly.
Now one question:
Browsing my Home dir in document and setting I have found some directory in application data with very old files like messages and backup and some xml conf files. I'm not sure, but I was wondering if they have been produced by old versions of PC Suite and they still live there even after having run the PCSuiteCleaner ...
Could be this the reason ? How can I be sure that no more configuration file are stored on my machines ?

I Have SQL Server 2005 Express instances on my PC. Now i am trying to install 2008 Express edition with Advance Services(Reporting.)
I am trying to install the SQL Server 2008 Express with command line Options.

But installation exits. It says the previous version 2005 tool are already exists, Remove them to Continue the 2008 Server Installation.
please suggest me how to avoid that check and continue installation by replacing the older tool with 2008 automatically.

Have you found any error in event logs?
In my case even after uninstalling all 2005 related components it didn't worked. I had to resort to a brute force way and
remove following registry keys
32 Bit OS: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90
64 Bit OS: HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\90

PSDExportPrefs options fails to work in CS5

Hi,
The following piece of code works fine in CS4 when I change the resolution and colormodel to differnct values, but fails in CS5.
The structure in both versions seems identical. Any idea as to why it fails in this latest version?

It looks like I am at the deadend.
The reason I wanted to show the option dialog was to be able to change the resolution and the color mode, which I was trying to do it all along via PSDExportPrefs setting - which is working fine in CS4 but not in CS5.
Now, if I am out of luck to show the option dialog as you suggested, I am stuck with the default doc setting values and it a problem.
I did it for the PDF-based CopyAsAction and I expected the Export version also has the same capability. Here the PDF version I used at the time:
sAIActionManager->AIActionSetInteger( valueParameterBlock, kAISaveDocumentAsGetParamsKey, true );
sAIActionManager->PlayActionEvent( kAISaveDocumentACopyAsAction, kDialogOff, valueParameterBlock);
and this will show the PDF option dialog and let the user set their options.
Is there any other thing I can do to change these values in CS5?

How can I hide the menu bar of better a specific option without using an addon?

For security purpose on my environment, I would like to hide the Menu Bar option or (better) restrict the right to install an add-on, change the proxy configuration etc..
I dont want to use an add-on for that as it will perhaps not work anymore if I update my firefox.
So i am searching for a registry/file user preference solution or anything else that will let me doing that.

Beta distribution channel option disabled

I am following the steps to attempt to publish my app to the Windows Phone Store as a Beta distribution but when I click on the More Options under App info the Beta option is greyed out. There is no mention of this in the documentation. Any ideas?

As you would be aware the purpose of creating Distribution Channel is that through some channel you have to distribute the material to customer and we call this channel in many ways like, wholesale, retail, export etc.,
As long as the sales area (combination of sales organisation, distribution channel and division) is clear in SD side, all sales reports can be differentiated easily and from end user point of view, this will be much useful.
In some cases, you need to go in for a common distribution channel due to the fact that instead of having lot of distribution channels, you can simplify the configuration part by having a common channel.
The decision to go different distribution channel or common distribution channel needs to be analysed on case to case basis and of course with clients' concurrence.

Silent install of JRE 7 with some options FAILS

Hi,
I'm trying to configure a silent install of JRE 7 using NSIS.
The command line that launches the JRE installation is this:
jre-7u4-windows-i586.exe /s INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApp\Java" STATIC=1 /L "C:\Program Files (x86)\MyApp\log\jre_7_inst.log"
But when launched (both from NSIS script and from command line) a windows popup explaining the options for launching the MSI installer tells me that there's something wrong with the .exe that launches the MSI with these options.
My system is a Windows 7 64bits and I'm trying to install a JRE 32bits, as this is what's needed for my app.
Any ideas of what can be failing?

Nokia Drive+ Beta Traffic rerouting option not app...

I have a Lumia 920 with Nokia Drive+ Beta. Ive been told that it has traffic rerouting but dont see any traffic options in there. Ive looked through all the menus, including route settings and route optimisation but no traffic related options.
I live in reading, UK and travel towards and around London a lot so this would be very useful. Is it just not supported in London yet?

Photo size options fails to work when selecting mail option in iphoto

photos being sent via the mail option in iphoto seem to be set at a default of 130kb!! Regardless of which of the sizing options I select. I have taken to moving the photos to the desktop then putting them in a folder and attaching to the email as a way of getting around this problem. If I do the above without putting the jpeg into a folder it also gets reduced automatically to 130kb. I have then had problems with people receiving the photos sent in an attached folder not being able to open them. Given that the iphoto/mail option in all previous OSX worked fine what do I have to do to get the old functionality back?
