AirPrint on LJ 1102W has serious limitations

FWIW, these units must have (IMHO) a broken AirPrint implementation. I've worked with support on this issue, and they have no solution to the problem. Essentially, these printers will NOT handle print jobs of ANY significant complexity. If you send a job the printer that it cannot handle (which is absolutely NOT predictable), the printer's power/status light will begin flashing, but print output will not be produced in a reasonable time period. While this state persists, the printer will NOT respond to further print jobs (even those sent from Windows or Mac) until it is power cycled. It will persist in this non-responsive state until power cycled or the print job EVENTUALLY is processed and output comes out. The iOS print management app will show the print job being sent to the printer and will be stuck at page 1. The printer's status page will show no error state, only that it's "printing". If left to their own devices (the printer and iOS device), most print jobs will eventually come out, but this can take from several minutes to hours to days!
We're running iOS 7.1.2 and current (20130703) firmware; so, there's nothing to update.
Support insists this behavior is expected and a natual limitation of the AirPrint protocol and iOS devices. It is not. I can print the print jobs that elicit the problem symptoms (on the LJ 1102Ws) successfully on other AirPrint compatible printers. AirPrint is also an extension on IPP printing protocols which, itself, has protocols to handle flow control and error handling. Most of the rest of the AirPrint components support discovery and basic connection; so, I don't believe these parts of the AirPrint protocol to be involved (since discovery and basic printing do work). At any rate, I think this amounts to a broken IPP implementation within the AirPrint implementation on these printers.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I can definitely understand your frustration when trying to send AirPrint job to your P1102w Laserjet printer and it can take hours/days to print.
Please start by setting a static IP and static DNS servers for the printer. The steps on how to do this can be found in the Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection document. In the Windows section it is solution four, and in the Mac section it is Solution Five. I would also recommend reviewing the information in Solution four of the Mac section as it deals with adjusting the Bonjour network setting.
After setting the manual IP and DNS servers, if you are still encountering the same issue, please follow the steps in the Apple AirPrint: The Apple Mobile Device Shows the Job is Printing but the Printer Does Not Print document.

E90 has serious limitations

I got my E90 a week ago and it is a fantastic phone but it has some serious limitations:
-The search in contacts only searches first and last names. I really need to be able organise contacts into companies and be able to find a company. This feature was available in the 9500.
-The bar code reader is useless. You are very lucky if you can get it to read a barcode.
-I cannot get the automatic sync with Outlook to work.
-The fax function is not there. The 9500 & 9300 could receive and send faxes.
-There are too many buttons and features on the cover keypad. It is easy to press the wrong button while walking. Nokia tried to make the cover phone too intelligent.
-Some contact fields in Outlook are deleted when the phone syncs even though Outlook is set to take preference if there is a conflict. I lost a few phone numbers this way.

This is what you call a disingenuous statement. As has been explained over and over and over, there is no fax in the E90 for three very important reasons. I will go over them again:
1. No fax capable modem in the E90.
2. The company that made the original fax software: Bitween no longer makes the software for the Communicator series nor will they support S60v3.
3. 3G does not support fax so to say:

iPhone warranty/support, except for the EU, is limited to country of original purchase. If you're in the EU, & purchased your phone in any EU country, you're OK. Otherwise, you'll have to return the phone to Apple in the country where you originally purchased, and you can't mail the phone to Apple. You must physically deliver it.

IMovie "green screen" feature has serious problems.

I precisely followed the iMovie "help" instructions to make a green screen effect for what should have been a simple iMovie project... a 10-second video tagline for closing titles on a much more extensive project.
According to iMovie help, it should have been easy (and maybe even fun). It wasn't. Five hours of my life melted away forever. The iMovie "green screen" feature has serious problems. Remember that old Mac advertising campaign that said "It just works"? Well, it doesn't. Shame on Apple and the iMovie development team.

I ran into the same issue (I named it "transparent green screen", I hadn't a better name).
I spent about a week to solve this problem, since I needed it to build a marriage slideshow.
The tools & Config:
iMovie 09, iPhoto 09, Adobe After Effects CS4
Mac OS X 10.6.2, MacBook Pro 13" 2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM
The Solution for the "transparent green screen":
I created a movie in AE, and put a green background into it. It was the pure green color.
When I imported the movie into iMovie I just got the "transparent green screen", not the real effect.
I some cases, by changing the background images, I could get the green screen to work, but it was kind of random. Which made it harder to solve it.
I thought it could be because of AE, some incompatibility. I went to Youtube and downloaded a green screen video (a woman dancing in a green background). I inserted the video into iMovie, and it worked just fine, all the way.
Then I tried to match the green color I was creating digitally with the Youtube video's green color. It didn't work either. The "transparent" effect was there again.
But when I looked at that Youtube video, I noticed that the green color was not pure. Because that green background was made in the real world, it was not pure, there were some shades of green.
Well, I just replicated that into the digital world. Modified my video's digital green background. From pure green to a gradient green, but very subtle, almost imperceptible. Just to replicate the "imperfection from the real world".
That was it. Solved. Maybe iMovie 09 needs that imperfection to work well. Using "pure greens" might confuses it.
Please do your tests. And let me know your results.

You have at least 3 different ways to show the project library:
1) Go to WIndow->Show Project Library
2) Click the button in bottom left of your window:
3) Hit the keyboard shortcut (Command-0)
The project library will be shown, occupying the area where the timeline usually is.
Your hard disks will be visible. Click the hard disk where you want the new project to reside and hit Cmd-N to create a new project.

The AIM server has temporarily limited your account

Ok deployed to Iraq and this is one of the only ways to contact my wife, and now all I get are these messages "The AIM server has temporarily limited your account due to too much activity - try again in a few minutes".
This problem started about 5 days ago, and is really aggrevating me. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Photoshop CS2 has serious error and needs to be reinstalled * 3

I am running photoshop CS2 at work and had it open very slowly this morning (3minutes) and then give me an error message - Photoshop has encountered a serious error and needs to restart. I did this 3 times and it still is not working. I did a full uninstall each time, trashed prefferences, repaired permissions and restared but with no luck. Capture One is not opening either, but one step at a time here.
Anyone have any suggestions?

This seems particularly likely to happen when I open a sequence on the timeline that has more than 5 audio tracks.
I'm using OS Mavericks 10.9.5. Video footage is .R3D. I have the crash report if that helps.

The plan has multiple MIC's all with limits. First five MIC's are independent and rest three are having their limits dependent on the results of a MIC eg with a formula. say 0.8X lower limit and 1.1X upper limit of a MIC., where X is the result of the fifth MIC. Similarly the 7th and the 8th MIC's are having limits dependent on the same MIC with different formula.
This kind of scenerio may be two times in an inspection Plan.

No. Nothing that is standard. You will have to probably look at creating your own custom valuation FM. SAP allows you to create these FM's and then config them into the system. You would then selection the custom valuation in a sample procedure that you would create for each of these characteristics. The valuation for the characteristic would then be carried out according to your custom FM. No spec would be displayed in the inspection lot however. But he valuation should be possible.

Titler has serious error and shuts down program

I have been using the titler in Premier CS3 and every time I try to make a font change the program says that there is a serious error and must shut down the program. I have never lost any information since the program has been able to recover from the error and save the data. It is a pain since I can't change the font. Does anyone have any ideas how to remedy this.
I have looked on the Adobe site for answers but the site is a nightmare of never ending loops when trying to report a problem.

I have not heard of any nVidia drivers causing problems with fonts, though there were several driver versions, about a year ago, where some gamer-only functions did not work in Adobe programs.
Now, with Titler, this ARTICLE might be helpful.
