AIRTUNES DROPOUTS - how do i make them stop?

so i have an airport extreme and an airport express which is hooked up the A/V system that controls the house. we have the fastest internet connection available to us and rarely put a dent in the bandwidth. HOWEVER airtunes constantly finds reason enough to drop out. what. can. i. do?

Unless you are willing to temporarily move the iMac to the area where the AirPort Express is located, you won't be able to gather the data that we need to understand the signal and noise levels on your wireless network. If you had a friend who had a Mac running Snow Leopard, that might be an option.

Your post indicated that you were running Snow Leopard, 10.6.2, and iStumbler 99 requires this operating system to function. I can't explain why it would crash. It's the most popular utility on the internet for measuring signal strength and noise and identifying wireless channels in use. Not sure what to suggest. Maybe delete the version you downloaded and try again.
Another option is to try Air Radar to accomplish the same measurement task. It's not free, but there is a 14 or 21 free evaluation period. If you try this, you will need to click the Scan button at the lower right of the main window to get things going once you have downloaded and installed the application. It's easy to miss.
Frankly, we're kind of stuck until we know more about the signal strength, noise and other factors very close to location where the Express is located. In the meantime, try to position the Express away from other electronics (they can interfere with your wireless signal) and out from behind a cabinet if it's buried out of sight.
In other words, if you had a water sprinkler at the center of the ceiling in the room, you want the Express to get as wet as possible. This will help get more of the wireless signal to the AirPort Express.

If I put my MacBook Air to sleep with Firefox as the top application, when I wake the computer, Mail will jump to the top. If Mail is on top when the computer sleeps, when I wake the computer, Firefox will leap to the top.

My deleted gmails keep coming into my iPad, how can I make them stop?

I have 4400 emails that are plaguing me from my gmail acct. this is my first iPad and I am not a computer person. Can someone tell me in simple terms how to get this to stop? Gmail isn't giving me an option to delete emails after a day or so.

in fact, a different apple id, if you intend to use both devices with the same account, is a terrible idea. just get a new e mail address, and add it as your recieve at setting as james has suggested.

Receiving texts in Spanish saying a session was started recently - are these legitimate and how do I make them stop?

Ignoring the grammatical errors/misspellings, it roughly translates to your Firefox account was recently logged into/a session was started. Each time the message is from short code 792273. Is this message legitimately from Firefox? If so, how do I get my number removed from whatever account it's been applied to in error?

Then I do not get your problem - you can import the photo - you can find the photo and you can edit and save the photo - what more do you want?
By defination thumbnails are small images to help you find the large image - the large image is fine and you can find it fine - and you know it is only showing part of the image because of the "jagged ends"
If you think think that iPhoto should display long thumbnails suggest to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto Feedback
as to your digital photoframe - contact them - in general gital photos frames display one and only one aspect ratio and any photo that is not in that aspect ratio will be modified to display - either cropped to the proper size for the frame or have 'White" space added to fill the frame - that function is totally controled by the Digital Photo frame and any otptions you have will be in the manual or on the support web site for the frame - to put it in old film terms - you can not put an 8x10 print in a 5x7 frame unless you cut the photo down (or a 8x15 photo in an 8x10 frame either)

If you get caught with a bounce that does not stop, Command . (period) should do the trick.

If the background of links is red then that is probably caused by an extension like SEO or SearchStatus that has the option set to highlight noFollow links. 
You can check the options of such an extension. 
You can click the icon on the Status bar to open the SearchStatus options and un-tick "Highlight NoFollow Links"

Stop the updates. I told it not to update in the prefs, I reset everything I could find in about:config and it still updates. How do I make it stop.

I have checked all boxes pertaining to auto updates, I have found more settings in about:config and set those appropriately. Still FF autoupdates. How do I make it stop? FF has the options to stop updates, when I use them the updates continue, why are those options there if they do not work?
