Ajax call soap web service

Question

Hi,
I would like to find sample code for web service call from javascript using ajax.
Can anyone help?
For example:

I had some issues with using javascript.
Here is what I did sometime ago:
ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/jsClient.zip
Here is also a version using php:
ftp://ftp.novell.com/outgoing/htmlClient.zip
These are pretty much as is.
I'm not sure I can give you much help.
