    I am working on Ajax in apex i saw one example, but i have a clarification on this..Could you please help me out what exactlythe below lines indicates or meaning for that..
    <script language="JavaScript1.1" type="text/javascript">

  • Java enhancement in XSLT mapping in PI 7.1 and JDK5 XML processing

    Hi,
    I am implementing an XSLT mapping and I need to use java enhancements. I got those working but only if I check "Use SAP XML Toolkit" from Operation Mapping. I would like to use JDK5 XML processing.
    I also got this message to trace:
    Resource not found: META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory
    Thrown:
    com.sap.aii.ib.server.mapping.execution.MappingClassNotFoundException: META-INF/services/javax.xml.parsers.saxparserfactory
    I tried to use com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl but still couldn't get java enhancement working.
    Is there a way to get JDK5 XML processing working with java enhancements?

    > Is there a way to get JDK5 XML processing working with java enhancements?
    No. Java processing inside XSLT is no standard. So it works only with SAP lib.

  • Using XMLDOM to process document in XML DB

    I am new to XML and especially XML DB which I however see as an excellent platform on which to base XML based solutions. I have a specific question and apologise beforehand should any of my assumptions be incorrect.
    I wish to create an application which from a number of XML fragments, together with rules governing the behaviour of the fragments (insertion points, overwrite rules etc) are merged together to finally leave me with a complete and valid XML document in XML DB.
    I thought at first that I could use DBMS_XMLDOM to perform this low level processing required. I have however not managed to understand how this can be used together with XMLDB. I am reluctant to use XMLDOM without XMLDB as I am afraid that I will surpass the limits in XML document size apparently imposed by XMLDOM.
    I see a solution where I create a schema based resource in XML DB containing the initial XML structure and then processing any number of the above mentioned fragments to finaly be left with a complete XML document.
    Can I use XMLDOM to do this or am I barking up the wrong tree?
    I would be grateful for any input on techniques that I can apply to perform elementary search/replace/insert on an XML document which I am, from PLSQL, compiling.
    Thanks
    Hans Christiansen

    Hi
    The size of the documents I want to compose are expected vary from a few Kb to 1 or 2 Gb! In a FAQ found somewhere on OTN there was an entry which mentioned that somebody was having trouble with a 50Mb XML document. The recommendation was to use SAX but I am under the impression that this is more useful when the processing is of a more sequential nature.
    The main thread of my question is to gain clarity in the most suitable technique to use when actualy compsing the XML.
    What I want to do is:
    Create resource (XML document) in XML DB.
    Loop through XML fragments together with rules:
    For each fragment process according to rules and insert
    fragment or update existing XML based on fragment contents.
    At the end of the loop the XML document is complete and ready for further processing.
    XMLDOM seems to give me the tools to do this but I am unsure of how to do this and have XMLDOM work directly against the contents in the resource controlled by XML DB (making use of possible indexes and the scalable nature of XMLDB). I get the feeling that if I simply read the XML from XMLDB resource into a DOM document I am still using the memory based representation of the XML until I write the XML back to XMLDB - is this a correct assumption.
    Alternatively is it the functionality offered by XPath, extract(), updatexml() etc. that I should be looking at?
    Does this make my question more understandable?

  • Re-Using XML file from decode barcode + extract xml process

    I was hoping someone could put me in the right direction here. I am decodeing the information stored in a 2D Bar code and sending this information to an XML file, then I am trying to combine that xml file with a blank PDF template but the process is failing beacuse there are some additional tag fields the XML data from the  Decode->Extract XML process.
    The XML file from the decode process gives the structure below..notice therer some extra tags (lines 2- 4)
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xdp:xdp xmlns:xdp="http://ns.adobe.com/xdp/" xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/">
    <xfa:datasets>
    <xfa:data>
    <form1>
    The XML structure that is expected by the PDF template is as follows
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <form1>
    So the xml output of the Decode barcode + Extract XML process has three extra lines of tag. Is there a way I could use a process within liveCycle to clean out those three lines in real-time before sending the xml to be recombined with the PDF template.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    What you may do is to use the SetValue and its xpath builder functions to "serialize" the xml into string, "substring" to remove the extra tags, and "concat" to add the extra tags and then "deserialize" it again to an xml to be merged with your form.

  • Using Java XML 1.5 toolkit instead of sapxmltoolkit for xslt mappings

    Hi All
       We have a case whereby our xlst requires a number of customised java class functions as we are porting webmethods systems across to PI.
    eg in the xslt adding
    <xsl:when test="function-available('java:concat">
        <xsl:value-of select="java:concat($first, $last, $inputparam)"/>
    We are running sap PI 7.1 ehp1. I have been referring to a number of posts on how to complete these tasks.
    namely we have implemented the example as provided in:
        http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/73/f61eea1741453eb8f794e150067930/frameset.htm
    This only works if "Sap XML Toolkit" is enabled in the operational mapping.
    Left unticked (default setting in the mapping) whenever a testcase is run I end up with the error "could not compile sytle sheet".
    I would like to use the Java 1.5 xml processing capability as it is supposed to perform better than the sapxmltoolkit option and support for the latter will be discontinued in future.
    Has anyone been able run the case with sapxmltoolkit enabled?
    If so did you add any other libraries for java xml 1.5?
    thanks

    Thanks, I would have thought as much, but theres no guide on the deployment.
    For now i assume this will fit into the java/ext area and Pi would need a reboot after the libraries are copied.
    Has anyone deployed the additional libraries to PI.

  • How to force simple tags and null attributes to appear when using SQL/XML?

    Hello everybody:
    I'm developing a non-schema based XMLType view.
    When the XML document is generated, i noticed two things I need to manage in order to achieve the desired result:
    1. Oracle generates a <tag></tag> pair for each XMLELEMENT defined; in my case, some tags need to appear as <tag/>... how do I do? Is it possible when using schema based XMLType views? Is it possible while using a non-schema approach?
    2. When using XMLATTRIBUTE('' AS "attribute") or XMLATTRIBUTE(NULL AS "attribute"), no one attribute with label "attribute" and null value appears at the output; how do I force to Oracle DB to render those attributes which are with no values (needed to render those attributes as another parsing code will await for all the items)?
    3. Some tip about how to route the output to an XML text disk file will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello odie_63, thanks for your reply:
    Reasons why needed single tags are these two next: Needed to generate a single XML file from 50,000,000 rows, where the XML ouput matches not only row data but another default values for another elements and attributes (not from database but using strings and types with default values); by using start and end tag, the generated file is as much twice bigger than using single tags; second, needed a very precise presentation for all the document.
    For generating that document, currently focus is based on using a batch process relying on Spring Batch with using a single JDBC query where a join happens between two tables. From my point of view, that approach uses: database resources, network resources, disk resources, and processing resources, including the price of making the join, sending to network, creating objects, validating, and making the file (Expending too much time generating that XML file). That processs currently is in development.
    I think possibly another approach is delegating the complete generation of that file to the database using its XML capabilities. My current approach following your recomendations is to generate a clob where I will put all the XML and putting it into a table. It leads me to another issues: Considering limitations on memory, processing and disk space, needed to append a single row-as-xml into the clob as soon as possible, and putting the clob inside the field as soon as possible, or putting the clob inside the field, and appending into it as the data is generated; so How do I manage the process in order to achieve that goals?. Seen these issues aren't related to my original question, so I'll open a new post. Any help will be apreciated.
    Thanks again in advance.

    Hi All,
    I am receiving this error in file to idoc scenario. The file is being picked up by communication channel. Then through an interface mapping IM_MET_ROUTE is being forwarded to a BPM MET_FILE_ROUTE. The MET_FILE_ROUTE forwards it to different BPM depending on file type. whenever I am posting a file it is not reaching IM_MET_ROUTE and giving an error  as shown below.

    Hi All,
    Thanks a lot Vikrant for your suggestion. The error is resolved. This was not a configuration problem. This was a design problem. Initially I also looked for configuration changes but that was correct hence I came to conclusion that this might be a design isuue.
       These are the steps that we should follow to resolve the errors
    1. First Check your configuration again and again with test tool and payload to find where exactly your configuration is failing.
    2. The above step will not be successful since we are already receiving the error.
    3. The above test will fail in interface determination step.
    4. Please go through the interface determination in Integration repository(PI 7.0).
    5. Check whether all interface mapping,source and target message interface are proper or not.
    6. if receiver or sender of message is an BPM please look into their receiver and sender element message type.This must match with the one specified in Interface mapping defined within Integration directory( in the interface deterination step).
       In my case the sixth step above was the solution.

  • Validate xslt against JDK5 so we can remove the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag

    We are working on PI7.1 and have hit an issue with an XSLT mapping. We were getting an error when testing that said:
    TransformerException during XSLT processing:
    javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.TransletException: com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.TransletException: java.io.FileNotFoundException
    We found a few threads on SDN pointing us to using the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag, which we'd not even noticed before. Ticking this flag did get us around the problem. Further investigation suggested to us, however, that this flag will not be available in future releases, so I guess our best solution would be to try and resolve the issues in our mapping against the current version of java (JDK5). When we use other tools such as XMLSPY they do not detect a problem with the XSLT. Can anyone point me to a tool that would enable us to validate our XSLT file against JDK5, which will provide us with error messages that will enable us to fix the error and therefore remove the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag?
    thanks,
    Malcolm.

    > Can anyone point me to a tool that would enable us to validate our XSLT file against JDK5, which will provide us with error messages that will enable us to fix the error and therefore remove the 'Use SAP XML Toolkit' flag?
    I am sorry to have to say that even inside SAP nobody can answer this question.
    In principle it will work when it is pure XSLT 1.1 but some commands from XSLT 2.0 might work also.

    error: Message interface is not used by this process Netweaver PI 7.0
    BPE_ADAPTER: MESSAGE_NOT_USED
    Regards,

    Hi,
    I just saw your IP design and from this I can see that you have message mapping between Sender(as in Outbound interface MIOASY) and abstract interface (as in MIAASY) and then in that you have used transformation step to utilise Interface mapping which is between same abstract interface which is not required at all as message type for both the interfaces is same. For me, what your configuration would be is
    1. Sender agreement to fetch the message from outbound interface(MIOASY) utilising communication channel with whatever adapter you have used
    2. Receiver Determination with Sender and sender interface as MIOASY while receiver as IP(Integration process)
    3. Interface determination between
        a. Sender and Outbound interface and Abstract interface with interface mapping IM_Sender
        b. IP as sender with abstract interface MIAASY and receiver interface MIIASY with no interface mapping being used as it must be of same type as receiver interface is
    4. Receiver agreement with MIIASY being used as receiver interface and communication channel utlililsed to convert it into receiver format.
    If I am assuming it correct then if you see then inside BPM we are not using receiver interface MIIASY which is why I feel this error is coming.
    However, if you design it something like this then I feel the error would get resolved
    Design
    1. Make one abstract interface (MIAASY_Sen) of same type as sender, and create another abstract interface (MIAASY_Rec) of same type as your receiver message type
    2. Create message mapping between sender message type and receiver message type, Interface mapping IM_ABS - (MM_ABS_ABS) between sender abstract interface (MIAASY_Sen)  and receiver abstract interface (MIAASY_Rec)
    3. BPM should be something like this
       Container:*
    rec Abstract Interface MIAASY_Sen
    send Abstract Interface MIAASY_Rec
    Receiver (rec) - Transformation (IM_ABS) -  sender (send)
    Configuration
    1. Sender agreement to fetch the message from outbound interface(MIOASY) utilising communication channel with whatever adapter you have used
    2. Receiver Determination with Sender and sender interface as MIOASY while receiver as IP(Integration process)
    3. Interface determination between
        a. Sender,Outbound interface MIOASY and Abstract interface MIAASY_Sen with no interface mapping
       b. IP as sender with abstract interface MIAASY_Rec and receiver interface MIIASY with no interface mapping being used as it is of same type as receiver interface is
    4. Receiver agreement with MIIASY being used as receiver interface and communication channel utlililsed to convert it into receiver format.
    Let me know if it works.

  • BPE adapter : message not used by any process

    hi frnds,
    I've created 2 scenarios using BPM
    1) merge scenario: 2 msgs ==> BPM ==> 1 msg
    1st msg is going without any problem. but 2nd msg is giving error saying 'BPE ADAPTER ERROR: message not used by any process'. i checked in sxi_cache and found that return code for Intg'n process is 0 only. but still i tried reactivating. but no use
    2) split scenario: 1 msg ==> BPM ==> 2 msgs
    sender msg is going without any problem,but not receiving 2 rcvr msgs to the target directory. return code of IP is 0 and no other errors.
    after installing PI on my system, for the first time i'm trying BPM scenarios. simple file to file working properly. BPE adapter has to be activated manually or i missed any initial configuration??? pls help me to resolve this.
    thanks.

    abhishek,
    I have used the following steps in BPM for this scenario xml file ==> BPM ==>xml file
    1) data types: a)send_dt
                            b) rcv_dt
    2) msg types  a) send_mt
                            b)rcv_mt
    3) interfaces   : send_ob_im
                              send_abs_im
                              rcv_abs_im
                              rcv_ib_im
    in integration process,
    start ==> receive ==> send ==> stop
    so in general its like,
    send CC ==> send OB I/F ==> send ABS I/F ==> rcv ABS I/F ==> rcv IB I/F ==> rcv CC
    when i'm not using BPM, outbound queue SMQ1 is empty and messages are not stickking up there. but if i use BPM, SMQ1 is having entry saying 'SYSFAIL'. for the first time i'm doing  the BPM scenarios.
    thanks.

I am able to import it in integration directory successfully without any error. When I am executing the first async request from HTML client I am invariably end up with an error from sxmb_moni as

  • Detecting transform errors when using org.xml.sax.XMLFilter

    I am using javax.xml.transform.sax.SAXTransformerFactory.newXMLFilter to transform xml against a pipeline of stylesheets (See function testPipelineTransform in the example below). The process works okay, excepting that I cannot figure out how to detect errors in the transformation process.
    I would like to achieve the same result for the pipeline process as I would for a single transformation using javax.xml.transform.Transformer.setErrorListener. The example below demonstrates how the call to javax.xml.transform.Transformer.setErrorListener does not generate the same result when using org.xml.sax.XMLFilter as it does when using a single transformation.

    I made the following change which solves the problem but the sollution is tightly coupled to Xalan. If anyone has any ideas, I would still like to find a way to achieve the desired result using JAXP API's.
                   XMLFilter filter1 = stf.newXMLFilter(new StreamSource(new StringReader(getStylesheet1())));
                   if (filter1 instanceof org.apache.xalan.transformer.TrAXFilter) {
                        ((org.apache.xalan.transformer.TrAXFilter)filter1).getTransformer().setErrorListener(...);
