Aktualise textfield in a table (not ALV)

Hi guys,
i have a editable table with a few columns. One of that columns is editable.
When the user change the value of that field and then press enter, i want to do some math and actualsise the value of another column of the same row. how can i achieve that? Btw. i want to avoid binding the whole table to the context.

just to be sure, you do understand that you can reference a single line (element) of a table (node) and update a single attribute of that element independently of updating the entire table?
It seems that you may have been confused that the only way to update data into a node was via the BIND_TABLE method of the node. If you look at the interface IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE you will see that there are many ways to get elements, and if you look at the interface IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT you will see that there are many methods you can use to update/access the attributes of a given element.
If this was your confusion - could you close the post/mark as resolved (or perhaps let us know what the issue was!) - so that when someone else searches the forum in the future and finds your post they can learn from it!

i know that in ALV an error-message appears and the cell is marked if an user puts a not allowed value in the cell.
Now i want to achieve the same in my non-alv-table. If a user enters a value in a specific cell, i want to output a message and mark the specific cell as "wrong". Can anyone provide me with a code-example?

Even in table cell if a value is entered that is not permitted ,system issues an error message and highlights the cell after some action is performed.
Case1: Suppose you enter a character value in date field and perform some action system performs the checks, issues an error message an higlights the cell.
Case 2: If validation of the entered value needs to be done programatically after an action is performed the use the below logici in the WDOBEFOREACTION method.
a) Get the node binded to the table( lo_node = wd_context->get_child_node('Node Name").
b) Using the node reference get alll the elements using the method GET_ELEMENTS of IF_WD_CONTEXT_NODE i.e lo_node.
c) Now loop at list of elements and for each element use the method GET_STATIC_ATTRIBUTES to get the attribute values
d) Do the required validation if some error is found use REPORT_ATTRIBUTE_ERROR_MESSAGE using the attribute name and element refernece.

Read only set for few rows of a column in a table (not ALV)

Hi Gurus,
I have a table with multiple rows and columns. Under a particular column, I have to make few rows as read only, few rows as editable based on a coondition. How can I achieve this. I know how to make the whole column as editable or read only. But I'm not able to achieve few rows in a particular column as editable and few read only. Please give me more detail code.

Hello,
That you can achieve by creating an attribute isReadOnly of type WDY_BOOLEAN in the context node that you bind to the TABLE. And set isReadOnly attribute based on your condition whether to set readonly or editable for all the context elements.
And in the layout view, for the column which has to be made readOnly or editable, bind the property readOnly to the context attribute isReadOnly.
When you run application, you will see the column as readOnly if the attribute was set to true and editable if it was set to false.

If your requirement is to add a row to the TABLE i.e. adding a context element to the context node which is bound to the TABLE, then you can do the following:

lo_nd_scarr = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_scarr )."get the reference to the context node

lo_el_scarr->set_attribute( name = 'attr_name' value = 'attr_value') "set the attributes
lo_nd_scarr->bind_element(
new_item = lo_el_scarr
set_initial_elements = abap_false ). "bind the created element to the context node

Row coloring in WD table (not ALV) based on condition

HI All,
I have created WD table with 8 columns
8 Th columns is “color “   type wdui_table_cell_desgin
All 7 are bounded to table except color.
Depending on my condition I am passing the domain values colors
Loop at itab into WA.
Ex: if wa-abc = ‘ABC’.
    Wa-color = 27
Modify statement …….
End loop.

Hi Gopal,
There are two posibilities that, your Table row/cell coloring is not working
1:
          Make sure that you have bound the columns "CellDesign" property to COLOR attribute as below
     Note: If you need to color whole ROW, then you need to bind the cellDesign of all columns to COLOR, otherwise, only respective cells gets colored.
2. Make sure that the property "Design" of table should not be set to "ALTERNATING", because it overrides the color. Hence, set the design of table to "standard"

Delete row in a table (not ALV)

i have a table on my web-dynpro-view. I defined a delete-Button and a method with some coding.
If the User marks a row and press the button, the row is deleted. Here's the code:

and store the deleted row in this attribute in ur delete method.

Modifying database table in ALV Grid

Hi all.
I need to be able to modify the database table in ALV Grid. Here's the code. The database table, that is displayed is 'zng_so_head', it's internal table is 'res_tab'. In the program i tried to create a button 'CHANGE' on the ALV-toolbar, but when executing the program there's no such button (why?). What code, screens, screen elements, etc. should be added to this program to provide a possibility of changing data of the database table 'zng_so_head' (i mean changing existing data, adding new lines and saving changes)?

Making cell non editabale (of dynamic table) in alv

Hi,
I am working on a editable alv with a dynamic table <itab> .This table gets populated during runtime.Now I want to make few cell of this table not editabale (only few cell not the full columns) I knwo that the procedure is to
declare my outtab like
TYPES: BEGIN OF gs_outtab.

        INCLUDE TYPE /npu/edmt_aa_eac.

and in the celltab i pass the information of cells which will be non editable...But the problem is as my outtab is a dynamic table I cannot INCLUDE IT IN ANOTHER types.
Please help me how to do it???? Or is there any other way of doing it???

I am working on SSAS i developed an datacube and deployed succesfully but when i call that SSAS through my SSIS it says that some table is not
found but the table exist in my SSAS module.
All things are working fine previous days suddenly this hapened kindly help me in this issue.
You must understand that there is no concept of tables in SSAS and there is nothing called as a SSAS module. It is called SSAS cubes which has dimensions and facts. What went wrong? What process is scheduled on the SSASA objects?

Dynamic display of fields of table in ALV report.

To display the records of a table in ALV report dynamically such that first 10 fields of the table should only be displayed excluding 'mandt' field .
That is field no 2nd to 11th should be displayed.

parameters: p_vari type slis_vari.
at selection-screen on value-request for p_vari.
perform alv_variant_f4 changing p_vari.
form alv_variant_f4 changing l_vari type slis_vari.
On F4 for layout selection - Get laouts created to this report.
data: l_variant type disvariant.
l_variant-report   = sy-repid.
l_variant-username = sy-uname.
call function 'REUSE_ALV_VARIANT_F4'
    exporting
      is_variant = l_variant
      i_save     = 'A'
    importing
      es_variant = l_variant
    exceptions
      others     = 1.
if sy-subrc = 0.
    l_vari = l_variant-variant.

Create a structure
data: wa_layout type disvariant.
fill up the layout with selected fields.
wa_layout-report = sy-repid.
wa_layout-username = sy-uname " Choose this if you want user specific

Assign the same to the REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY
it is a import paramter IS_VARIANT = wa_layout.
All you have to do is first execute the report and save layouts what exactly you want
and then next time you run the report you will get a chance to select the layout of your own.
or
You can get rid of MANDT field from fieldcatalog and internal table by creating a new
structure. I mean, if you know you always want to display the field from 2 to 11 then simply
delete the field from fieldcatalog.
You can assign to different field catalog using Field symbols and change your internal
table as well since you have created a dynamic internal table.

Print Logo in Classic Report (Write Method,Not ALV)

Hi All,
I'm currently doing conversion of the All the Classic Report with addition of Header with 'LOGO'.
I'm willing to find out that Function (CALL FUNCTION 'WWW_GET_MIME_OBJECT') is only able for display but not show out during printing.
Is that any method, I can do it(Print with Logo) without conversion to SAP Script or Smartform that was exhausted.
*Please take note is Classic Report with Write Method (Line by Line), Not ALV.

It is possible to include logo in classical report but its not possible to print logo in classical report. It can be done in ALV's.
Write the code in Top-of-page event in ALV.
The following is the code for inserting the logo in ALV.
FORM TOP_OF_PAGE.
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
       EXPORTING
           I_LOGO             = 'ENJOYSAP_LOGO'
            IT_LIST_COMMENTARY = GT_LIST_TOP_OF_PAGE.

Dump : Table not found in oracle database

Hi,
I am doing a program regarding analysis of tables belonging to archiving objects.In my program i am calling a RFC function module . 'DB02_ORA_TABLE_INDEX_ANALYSIS . But it is giving the dump for native sql statement .

Hi,
the view V$PARAMETER must be accessed through SAP/Oracle Database Monitor lets you view the active Oracle database parameters and the contents of the init.ora file.
Alternatively, you can use transaction st04. You need to apply SAP Note 706927 before using the database monitor.

How can i get all the records from three tables(not common records)

I have four base tables at R/3-Side. And i need to extract them from R/3-Side.
And i dont have any standard extractor for these tables .
If i create a 'View' on top of these tables. Then it will give only commom records among the three tables.
But i want all the records from three base tables (not only common).
So how can i get the all records from three tables. please let me know

You can create separate 3 datasources for three tables and extract data to BW. There you can implement business login to build relation between this data.

1- I have a function that returns number of records in a any given table.
