All of a sudden my audio books are so distorted they are impossible to listen to

Why is the sound on my audio books so distorted and fade in and out multiple times a minute. This just started a couple weeks ago

Did you try the reset? It wouldn't hurt to try closing all of the apps on the iPad and then reset the device. Take a sort of fresh start approach. Give it a try.
Closing apps in iOS 7 works like this. You have to drag the app up from the multitasking display.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Backed up my ipod touch with itunes now all my audio books are in itunes but i cant put them back on my ipod. i have never used such a pathetic system as this. whats the point of buying books if you cant put them back on the ipod to listen to. help please

please help i have an ipod touch downloaded several audio books for it. backed up ipod and synced with itunes now the ipod has no audio books on it and they are in itunes but i can not get them back on to the ipod. apples systems are incredibly awkward. any other system allows for mp3's etc to be drag and drop not this long winded and what appears to be a complete waste of time. you buy things and once synced you loose it and cant put it back

Are audiobooks still configured to sync to your iPod Touch via the iPod's Books configuration tab in iTunes? To check, plug your iPod in and select it from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the Summary tab. Locate the Books tap along the top and select it. Here you can configure how and what audiobooks sync to your device.
Or if you want to manually drag and drop audiobooks onto your iPod, you'll have to enable the device for manual management. See here for more details.

MacBook Pro running Leopard has suddenly thinks audio CDs are blank. Also not recognized in Itunes. What should I do to determine whether it's a hardware or software problem? Or is there something unusual about these CDs?

I have the exact same issue.DVD's work perfectly, but audio cd's have stopped working. I think it's pretty recent, but can't confirm it because i don't use audio cd's daily. So I think it might be software related instead of hardware related. I Have a Macbook pro 15" mid 2009 running the latest OSX release.

How did you migrate the iTunes library from your old computer? Do you still have the old computer or a backup of the old computer? Then look for them in the iTunes Library there.
Any Audio book you have should be in your iTunes Library in the folder
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Audiobooks/
or whereever you have your iTunes library installed

you most likely have imessage on both iphones and sending/receiving to same number on one of the iphones. go to settings messages > send and receive > check the numbers/emails on both iphones. once you uncheck the numbers/emails you dont want you will not be getting the messages any more. a little bit more info is helpful read this http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5538.

That is correct. You cannot redownload audiobooks.

Everyone and it is not a problem. Audiobooks simply are not available for redownload.

You cannot redownload audiobooks at all.
They will only be where you put them.

Did you copy your actual iTunes content from your computer before reinstalling iTunes, or did you just copy your iTunes library which only contains the pointers to your songs / books locations ?
You might, depending upon your country and if they are still in your country's store, be able to redownload your music purchases and your ibooks via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage - you will need to delete the entries from your library (where you are getting the 'unable to locate' messages) before they will potentially show with the cloud icon against them in Purchased for redownloading.
Or copy them from your backup of your downloads/library and add them to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library

Yesterday everything was syncing up fine with my Ipod Nano 6th gen. Today I'm getting conflicts and my songs and audio books are completely gone from my Ipod. The message says that it can not be played on this Ipod. They played before.

I've been using my Ipod for over a year now without issue.   Today I downloaded some new audio books from Itunes and when I tried to sync up, it would not work and all of the books and music that I had on my Ipod are gone from my Ipod. They still show up in my Itunes library.   The only thing I see that is different is that now there is a "cloud" symbol next to my library content.   This makes no sense to me. Please help.

I'm not sure if it charged when I hooked it up to my roommate's computer, but it definately didn't register either. If I put it on the dock it plays so the port is fine, but that still doesn't help me sync it to my computer.

Help: All of a sudden no audio in certain Garage B. Projects?!

Hi, I was just doing some editing in a Garage Band Project and all of a sudden there is no Audio coming out of the master.. Sound works on the Macbook in any other application .. i've rebooted and everything with no luck.
The weird thing is that the project I was working on was functioning normal then bam out of nowhere there are no audio levels coming up for master even though each individual track has the lines moving (making them seem fine).. It gets weirder because a couple old projects all work fine with the master sound with no problems.. Just my 3 newest projects including if I try to start a new one have this problem..
Any suggestions?!

The option to play audio book has gone after IOS6 update audio books are on the iphone

Hi since updating to IOS6 I seem to have lost the ability to play Audiobook, if I go to the Ipod app the option isn't there and hen I connect to my car it says the folder is empty. Is there something I need to do to be able to play audio books. The audible app finds all the books so I know they are there, but doesn't work in the car where I like listening to books on long journeys.
