ALL PROJECTS - CHANGE ORDER

when viewing at the library with the "All Projects" function, the sort order is by date, showing the oldest first. is there any hidden function that changes this order?
also, the "Home" and "End" buttons work in projects, folders and albums, however not in the "skimm through" All Projects view.
having over 100k of photos and thousands of projects, this view is pretty but quite useless unless i can jump to the last projects quickly, or change the sort criteria.

Yeah, this is stupid isn't it? In All Photos view you have the option of sorting by:
Image Date
Rating
Version Name
File Name
Keywords
File Size
Orientation
Pixel Size
And you can do all of that either Ascending or Descending. However, switch over to All Projects, and you have the option of sorting by, errr, nothing, in neither Ascending nor Descending. This doesn't make any sense, and makes the All Projects view fairly useless.
What if you want your most recent Projects showing up first, at the top of the grid? Not possible. What if you have lots of Projects with similar names, and you want them all bunched together, sorted by name? Again, not possible.
I really hope Apple implement this feature soon, in Aperture 2, rather than having to wait for version 3 to come out.

  • How to change the order of the projects in the "All Projects" display?

Is there a way of reordering the projects in the All Projects display? Is alphabetical ordering possible?
    Thanks.

Before you sync your iPhone the next time, activate the option "sync addressbook" and "replace all Contacts on iPhone". The next sync will replace your contact info on your phone. From that point on all contact infos will be the same on your mac and and your phone. And changes or new infos will also be seen on both systems.
    Hope this helps

  • All Projects view - Sort Order

Is there a way of changing the sort order of the All Projects view - either to name order, or custom rather than the way it seems at the moment - time of project creation from oldest to newest?
    Jason

I am also looking for a way to do this. When you have 300 projects, it's annoying to always have to scroll down to the bottom every time you click into projects view. I wonder if there is a hidden preference or something like that. Can anybody help?

  • Change in Sales order deleted all process production order

    Dear All,
We have Make to order scenario for our export sales. When we have receive order we make production with reference of sales order with help of t-code MD50 then convert plan order into production order.
IF sales department do changes in sales order it'll delete all processing production orders So, we have to do revoke all production orders manually.
2 query is that, Is there any way to run MRP (Make-to-order) on all line items of sales order ?
    Please provide solution.
    Thanks,
    Farrukh khan

    Dear Farrukh,
There is not tcode to run sales order for all line items, but if you run MD02 it will plan all sales order & line items also. You can run MD02.

  • 2.1 sort order on 'all projects'

I really like the 'all projects' view, it looks like iPhoto 'events' view, which was sorted, as it should be, in alphabetical order. I love Aperture, however I've been waiting for an alphabetical sort to the 'all projects' view so that I can get rid of (or rather stop using) iPhoto. They seem to have added sort with what seems to only have two options, by date, which is horrible if, like me you have downloaded pictures or old digital photos that contain wonky incorrect information from the wild west days of digital photography.
Any ideas on how to get things to display in 'all projects' like they do in iPhoto 'events'??
BTW, my projects are all titled in the way they should display. events that I want by date are titled as such, other pictures are grouped in projects such as 'Shorty' (my dog).

Sorry Grom, no, there is no UI for the kind of sort you are seeking.

  • All Projects View - reverse order

    Hi,
I love the "All Projects" view in Aperture 2.0 (it kinda reminds me of iPhoto actually), but I don't like the fact that its sorted with old projects first. Every time I click on it I see my old projects from 3 years ago. Is there a way to sort it like I sort my "all photos" view with newest projects at the top? Usually when I click on "all projects" I want to see the current projects I am working on, not old ones, and it's annoying to have to scroll all the way down.
    thanks,

i've asked the exact same question a while back, with no answers yet.

  • Fragents and Change Orders

I'm new to P3. I need to manage a large 2 year public
works building construction schedule in downtown Los
Angeles, with numerous and frequent changes to the
schedule due to change orders, RFI's etc. Of course, these
changes result in increases/decreases to cost and time,
which need to be monitored and dealt with as part of the
overall project. Some say that fragnets are the best way
to insert these changes into the schedule. Some say
fragnets are problematic. I have no experience with
fragnets and I want to get off on the right foot. What
have you project managers and project engineers found most
effective for inserting and managing change order and RFI
    items?

    Nat:
    Thank you very much for
    your response.
    Your
explanation of fragnets was very useful. I will make a
point of saving and reusing repetitive groups of
activities. In my case, SOMD (slab-on-metal-deck) is
very repetitive. Also, exterior building finishes such
as plaster (exterior sheathing, lath, scratch coat,
brown coat, cure, finish coat, cleanup). Interior
finishes activities are also often identical from
    floor to floor.
    The issue with
RFI's is usually not so critical. I mentioned 1200
RFI's but relatively few impact the schedule and must
be coded in. But it is more than 48. In my case, the
most common reason for entering an RFI into the
    schedule is when the
    consultant/Architect/Engineer/State Agency exceeds the
contractually agreed upon time limit for response to a
design-related RFI, or his response is irrelevant
requiring a second round of RFI's to resolve the
problem (revise and resubmit for title-block
exceptions, for example, happens frequently). <br
    />
It is easy to ignore these delays,
and recording them in the schedule can really irritate
the consultant, but when they become a habit, the
cumulative impact on the schedule can be significant.
Therefore, I need to be able to track these RFI delays
effectively within the schedule. Of course, an RFI
always has a number that is tracked inside Expedition
    as well.
    The bigger problem is
Change Orders. As you know, when the Owner wants
something added to the work, or a problem in the
design results in an increase in the scope of work
(there are many other possible reasons of course) a CO
is requested. As a general rule, most change orders
contain both a cost increase as well as a time
extension. This time extension is the problem,
because, especially on public works projects, the
Owner/CM does not want to grant time an extension, and
even when they do, they will only grant it when it
impacts the critical path, and only after there is no
float remaining (you will see why this distinction is
important as you read further). The critical path
condition makes sense, but the idea that my float is
the Owner's to eat for his CO work is grating,
especially when facing potential LD's. <br
    />
To top it off, some Owners/CMs insist
that all time delays be dealt with at the end of the
project, when the actual time delay resulting from a
CO can be calculated, instead of simply estimated, as
is common practice (corresponding language is inserted
into the CO to that effect instead of a defined time
extension). My position is that if they refuse to
grant a time extension based on an estimate, then the
cost given in the CO, which is nothing more than an
estimate, should also be replaced with T&M, and
the budget be damned. Needless to say, that position
has not won me many friends in the trailer across the
    way.
    You might suggest that we
should refuse the extra work if a time extension is
not granted up front. If we did that, they would hit
our bond in a heartbeat. A contractor's lot in life
seems to be to make lawyers (Deo volente, may the burn
    in hell) wealthy.
    In the case
of the Owner/CM refusing to grant time for
non-critical path CO's, my position is that, while the
CO work may not be on the critical path this instant,
in many cases, the critical path can change
dramatically, sucking CO work into it that was
previously separated from it by weeks. That very thing
has happened on a school project located in a major
    city we are doing.
    The project
has extensive tubular secondary steel at the exterior
of the two buildings. This tube steel, ranging in size
from 4" diameter to 20" diameter curves around, and up
and down, the exterior of the structure. I do not
exaggerate when I say that it is more complicated than
a roller coaster. I will send pictures if you are
interested. It supports curvilinear LG framing, which
in turn supports a combination of plaster, brick
veneer and metal panels. Very phantasmagorical stuff.
Being a complicated 3-D arrangement of rigid steel,
the architect's drawings were incomplete, (we should
have expected that) and changed frequently (4 times)
during fabrication, resulting in detailing problems
and a two month delay in erection. Lots of unforeseen,
fit-scribe-cut-repeat of long, heavy, curved, twisting
pieces of long steel hanging from crane hooks has been
    required.
    We have recovered
most of that time, but only by doing a great deal of
    out-of-sequence work.
    As you
can imagine, this mess generated a ton of CO's, but
the Owner would not agree to grant time extensions
until the end of the project, and even then, only on
CO's that are provably on the critical path. When
combined with electrical changes impacting utility
buildings, cable pulls, elevators, manlift and even
exterior finishes, and then with added off-site work,
topped off by submittal-review delays by State
agencies, the critical path has flapped around like a
flag in the wind, with CO's going in and out of it. In
many cases, this means that a particular item of
ongoing CO work has delayed the critical path for a
period of time, but not for the entire duration of the
CO work. So calculating the exact impact of the CO
during the period it was on the critical path has not
    been easy.
    I anticipate there
will be huge disagreement about these calculations at
the end of the project when we have the "come to
Jesus" time/money resolution meeting with the
    Owner/CM.
    BTW, the CM always
insists that CO's be dealt with as fragnets, but that
doesn't always make sense because the nature of CO
work is often one-of-a kind, not repetitive stuff. But
he has fragnets on the brain, it seems, so we call
    them fragnets to humor him.
    <br
/>Anyway, as you can imagine, tracking the dynamic
(vs. static) effect of CO's on the schedule has been
difficult. I am almost tempted to try calculus methods
to calculate time consumed over time (if you get my
meaning). Any experience analyzing schedules using
differential equations? Someone must have done it
    before....
    Right now I am
using activity codes to track them, but I am wondering
if there is a better way.
    <br
    />
I have other projects, without the
same delays, but similar Owner/CM mindset regarding
    CO's
    Now you know the long
    story. Any suggestions?
    <br
    />Stan

  • Photos change order when burning to disc

I have created a separate album of photos that I want to burn to a CD. When I do so, some of the photos change order. I have tried to delete those photos and then re-add them to the album, but to no avail. I have also tried to change their date so that they are chronologically in the right order, but this doesn't help either. Any help would be truly appreciated. I want to give this CD to my father for Christmas. Thanks!!
    ibook   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

    Hi Tom,
You should be able to make a slidshow almost as easy as what you're trying to do right now... it'll take some pratice
Personally, I have both exported a slideshow from iPhoto to iDVD and also created a slideshow directly in iDVD, the latter is a better fit for what you're doing.
Open iDVD, create new project, name as you like and save, will auto open to work window, click on 'customize', pick a theme you like. Now click on 'Map' and in the customize pane click on 'Media'. In the media pane you have itunes, photos and movie, select photos... you're iPhoto library will appear along with all the albums you might have created and organized. Here's what makes it sweet, you can drag each album into the 'Map' Theme icon and it will automatically import and turn into a slideshow and take on the name of the album... to see your progess hit the Preview button... you'll have to do a little learning and tweaking, you can add music etc., but that's it, you made a slide show ready to burn to a dvd...
My suggestions would be to organize albums as you like, named appropriately and just have fun with it. You can save and go back and edit at a later date. Use the highlight and delete or cut options to remove etc etc etc...
You can burn project using the File > Burn DVD option or you can save the FINAL production use the File > Save As Disk Image option, and you can burn the DVD through disk utility which will give you more options on burn speed and buring at 1x speed may yield the best results...

  • Project & Sales order Closure before delivery complete

    Hello All,
My client want to close the projects and sales order to close before meeting complete delivery lets take example:
customer orders 100 quantity of an item and we have delivered 90 quantity than suddenly customer change the requirement to close this order. so our concern is to close this Sales order and project. we don't want to use option:
    1. we don't want to change the quantity in sales order and project to 90. this will effect in auditing.
    2. remaining quantity will be shown as delivery.
Please suggest us to close the sales order & Project without affect in Auditing or any other account.
    thanks
    Sunil

    Hello Kishore,
we have MTO scenario and our issue is to close the sales order, Project & Production order before deliver the complete quantity means when suddenly a customer close the order and our material related to that sales order or project is in process than how we can settle the sales order and project
Example:  i have got order of 100 quantity regarding the sales order & we have issued the RM quantity to Production order. More over we have consumed 80 quantity and post in finished stock and other remaining 20 quantity is in process means that can be two type of process:
first is material which we issued is in process and the status of the production order PCNF.
Second the material is not in process and status of the production order is PCNF. when suddenly customer close the order.
my question is if we face these type of condition how we should settle or close the sales order, project & production order.
    Please suggest for this case.
    Thanks

  • Change Order Template

I can not find a Change Order Template for SAP Partners to use.  All in the Business Center are locked for SAP Only.  I need one for a Scope Change for a current client.

    Hi Tim,
I'm sorry, but I don't understand: You want to change the scope of a system of a customer? You mean in Business Configuration? If yes, why don't you just create a change project in Business Configuration?
I think I just don't know what a change order template is used for. And especially how this relates to the Business ByDesign studio/SDK.

  • All Open Sales Orders in APO system

    Hi Experts,
We have a requirement in which we have to get all open sales orders in SAP APO system for 2013.  Please suggest if there is some way to do this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Manjunatha,
RRP1 will list all the requirements: sales orders, forecast, dependent demand, putchase order release, etc.
Same than in all the ALV reports, you can change the layout, sort, use filters in order to only see the document that you need, etc.
Here you can an example of my system, where you have sales orders in RRP1:

  • Open Orders Query showing all open AP Orders

    Hi All,
I wish to generate a report that shows all open AP Purchase Orders as well as all orders that are partially inviced.
I have been using the following query but it is not giving me complete results:
    SELECT
    T1.[DocNum] AS 'PO NUMBER',
    T1.[DocDate] AS 'POSTING DATE',
    T1.[DocDueDate] AS 'DUE DATE',
    T1.[TaxDate] AS 'DOC DATE',
    T1.[Comments] AS 'REMARKS',
    T1.[CardCode] AS 'CUSTOMER/VENDOR CODE',
    T1.[CardName] AS 'CUSTOMER/VENDOR NAME',
    T0.[LineTotal] AS 'LINE TOTAL',
    T0.[OcrCode] AS 'PROFIT CENTER',
    T1.[PaidSum] AS 'PAID',
    T0.[Project] AS 'PROJECT CODE',
    T0.[LineNum] AS 'ROW NUMBER',
    T0.[LineStatus] AS 'LINE STATUS',
    T1.[DocStatus] AS 'PR STATUS'
    FROM
    POR1 T0  INNER JOIN OPOR T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    WHERE
    T1.DOCSTATUS <>'C'
    AND
    T0.LineStatus <> 'C'
    ORDER BY T1.docentry
I need to add to this query a column to show PO's that have been partially invoiced, a column to show if the invoices have been paid and another column to show the balances for those particular orders.
    HELP PLEASE!
    Robinson

    Thanks Carin,
    That was very helpful, BUT:
    1. I still wish to view all open orders that have been partially invoiced
    2. I still wish to see all the Purchase Orders that have been partially invoiced and paid
    3. I finally want to see the balances for these Purchase Orders that have been partially invoiced.
I don't seem to find the correct fields containing the information. So far all that I was able to establish is that OPOR.DocTotal is the total amount for the Purchase Order. However, OPOR.PaidToDate does not give an accurate value of what is invoiced or paid.
I wish to add the following fields. A field showing the corresponding Invoice number for the partially invoiced order, the amount paid for that PO and the balance.
    Thank you.

  • Regarding All open sales order & want to close them

    Hi All,
My client want the list of all open & partially open sales order in the time period excluding cureent & previous months & want to close all those sales order with partally open & fully open status
    Regards,
    Rohan

Rohan in t-code mass find the reason for rejection and also try and block the sales order if you find it useful.
    Steps are below:
First have those open order references in an excel sheet.
Go to MASS, input Object Type BUS2032 and execute. There block "Sales order header data" and click on "Fields". There select the field "MASSSDHEAD_S-LIFSK" and execute.
Now click on "Multiple selection" (right arrow), copy those order references and press "Shift+F12" and execute. There on top, assign some block and execute. All your sale orders will be blocked.
On the other hand, you can also change the status of those sale orders by assigning "Reason of Rejection" in mass. To achieve this, go to TCode MASS, input Object Type BUS2032 and execute. There block on "Sales Order Item Data" and click on "Fields". There block the field "MASSVBAP-ABGRU" and execute. Follow the same procedure as explained above.
Now see the document flow of those sale orders.

    I have a MacBook Pro , Model Identifier MacBook Pro8,2 , MAC OX S 10.7.4
I noticed that if I open Final Cut Projects created on other/older models MacBook Pro Laptops or MacPro Desktops, the fonts used in the previously created FCP projects, change their font spacing! which distorts the look of the Text that was written, by oevrlapping on other things that were put & present on the screen.. Another similar probelm is that the Vector shaped used for example to highlight certain words or shapes, also change their position on the screen so that they no longer highlight exact things that we once used these vectors to highlight or outline... Anyone knows how to solve this problem please?? I made sure that the same fonts are available in the Library in both old and newer computers...
    thanks in advance..

You might want to take your question to the FCP forum - if you copied all fonts to your Library>Fonts folder and restarted they should be recognized by all applications. I know that this works for Adobe products, anyway.
