Allocations at customer Hierarchy level

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement from client to allocate stock of restricted products at customer hierarchy level. For example: Material ABC is a restricted product and there are 500 CV available in the plant, Client would like to allocate 100 CV to customer-1, 200 CV to customer-2 and 200 CV to customer-3.
Also Material ABC can be allocated to one of the nodes of customer hierarchy and automatically this stock should be available to all the customers with in that hierarchy to consume. If there is a chain customer like SAMS, stock is assigned to highest node of SAMS at state level and this stock should be available for all SAMS clubs with in the state to consume.
I am using Quotations to reserve stock at customer level. The problem is with allocating stock at customer hierarchy level. Please suggest me some solutions to achieve this requirement.
Thank You in advance,
Samatha.

  • APO product allocation and customer hierarchy groups

    Hi,
we have customer hierarchy groups. In the future we want to use product allocation in APO.
The values of the customer hierarchy groups will be changed often.
How can we map the customer hierarchy group to a product allocation group?
    Thanks,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
Not sure it is the only way but you can try the following,
    1. maintain the field catalogue and the product allocation group in APO
    SPRO
    Advanced Planning and Optimization
    > Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP)
    > Product Allocation
    2. Maintain the planning area accordingly
(+ the connection to the PA - still in SPRO...)
    Now start the real thing:
    3. pass the customer hierachy to the sales order in R/3
You can use exit: MV45AFZZ u2013 form USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK
    4. Pass the information to APO
A new exit: FV45VFZY form USEREXIT_CATALOG_VALU - Adding to the APO field Catalogue
Now you mentioned frequent hierarchy changes... that I don't know how to handle. When you change the hierarchy how do you want the consumption to happen? I guess the new sales order should consume the new hierarchy, but what about the old assignment?
If somebody know ho the system handle that, that would be great!
    Thanks and Regards

  • Pricing not determined based on Customer hierarchy

    Hi All,
I searched the forum for the specific issue, but could not find a proper solution.
I have a specific scenario where we are migrating from 4.6C to 6.0.  The hierarchy is already maintained in 6.0 version in a way which we need to adopt it.  The level 1 in 4.6 C would become level 5 in ECC 6.0.  The pricing procedure is adopted as per the 4.6C version where the key field for discounts are maintained as Customer hierarchy level 1 as level 1, now when we are raising a sales order, for none of the levels the price is  getting determined, even though the price determination field is checked in the customer master.  The system says initialized field, it is not able to trigger the HIENR01, HIENR02, HIENR03 field, even though the pricing records are maintained.
    Looking for your feedback.
    Thanks & Regards
    Aravind

    Aravind,
Even though the price determination field is checked in the customer master. The hierarchy may be out of sync. You can verify this by looking at table KNVH for 1 of your hierarchy nodes and viewing field prfre. This is required to = X for the hierarchy fields to be populated during order entry. If you find that it is blank and out of sync with the customer master, then you need to go into Process Customer Hierachy(VDH1N), enter your highest level node and execute, Once in the maintenance view of the hierarchy, click in menu hierarchy-> Update programs-> All; this will sync up the hierarchy from the customer master and make these pricing relevant. You can verify in this screen as well by looking at the 'Relevant for Pricing' flag is set. Hope this helps.

  • Find contract (outl. agreem.) at order item level by customer hierarchy

    Hi Everyone,
I've a requirment for the next functionality is SAP.
<b>Find contract</b> (outl. agreem.) <b>at order item level by customer hierarchie</b>.
Standard SAP can only use the customer hierarchy to find a contract at <u>order header level</u>. This has not the result we want, beceause all or a selected group of items will be copied to the order and this process is not usefull with EDI order input.
Does somebody know how this functionality can be created in SAP? Build the functionality with ABAP is no problem for me.
    Thx.

    Hi !
I know its quite late for the answer but I just saw your question.
In the customising of the Sales doc type (VOV8), in the 'Transaction flow' section, in the first field for Outline agrmt mess. entry of either  B or D or F should help.
    Reward if helpful.

  • Limitation on Hierarchy levels

    Hi,
I want to find out what is the limitation on number of Hierarchy levels (Custom Hierarchies) that can be created in BO Universe?
And is this limitation oriented with the DB we connect?
As I am using Netezza DB so I want to know the number of hierarchy levels that I can create for objects in  Netezza DB?

We have a BEx query, having 9 product Hierarchy levels. When we are creating Universe, there is no issue. But when we do integrity check, getting a lot of parse errors and could not make the universe to work.
Is there any limitation on number of herarchies to be supported from BEx query to Universe? Any OSS notes / Lessons learnt will be much appreciated. Please help urgently. Thanks.

  • Customer Hierarchy Partner determination in a Sales Order using Payer ?

    Dear SD Experts/Gurus
We use Customer Hierarchies extensively in Sales Orders for Pricing & Rebates and it all works fine.
The Hierarchy structure consists at the bottom level of a SoldTo linked to a Hierarchy Customer and many SoldTos can have the same Hierarchy Customer.
We set price conditions at the Hierarchy Customer and that all works fine.
We would like to change our Customer Hierarchy to link the Hierarchy Customer to the Payer rather than to all the individual SoldTos.
This is because we have many SoldTos linked to 1 Payer and this will allow us to have simpler Customer Hierarchy structures making it easier to setup and maintain.
I have changed the SAP configuration to do this and I can certainly maintain the Customer Hierarchy without any problem using transaction VDH1N.
But when I create a Sales Order, the Hierarchy Customer does not get pulled through to the Sales Order Header Partners based on the Order Payer and hence no Hierarchy Customer price conditions are pulled through.
Is what I'm trying to do possible in SAP ?
If so please advise how this can be achieved.
    Thanks David

    Hello,
I have a similar requirement, although we are building the hierarchies directly in CRM (as we are with BP's in general), and I am using hierarchy category 01 - PRICING.
What I have found is that a sold-to BP must:
    1. be assigned to a hierarchy node
    2. appear TWICE (!!!) in the document part.det.procedure, once in partner function 000001 (sold to) and again in partner function 00000121 (Authorized partner: sold to).
When the sold to customer exists in both functions within the document, I am able to determine the hierarchy node properly.
Now, my question is, can anyone guess why the main partner (sold to) must appear twice??? or, is this an error in my customizing?
Thank you in advance for your help, and I do hope my observation can help others find a solution.
    Regards,
    Allon
PS in terms of customizing, I used the following:
partner function 00000001 - sold to
partner function 00000121 - Auth. Partner: Sold-to Party
access for Auth. Partner: 0017 - current partner: sold to *this copies the sold to partner into this partner*
partner function 00000076 - Hierarchy Node Partner
access for hier.node partner: CRM_PARTNER_G Pricing hierarchy
The last bit presupposes that the hierarchy is set up using hierarchy category '01 - pricing'.

  • Customer hierarchy-Discount not flowing through

I am facing problem in customer hierarchy in pricing.
I have assigned account group 0012 to 001 all customer. 0012 is Main company who is not issuing orders. I think this may be due to Partner determination settings. However, I have set 3 levels 1D mai n office which is not issuing sales orders act group 0012 Set partner determination at customer master level and  sales document header TA. In sales order in Partners tab I am getting 1D but not getting other like 1C nor 1B nor 1A.
Assigned sales area as well to hiegher level sales area, order type to "A" cust. hierarchy, VDH1N well maitnined 0012 act grp to lower level 2 company which both are 001 act group.
In VK11 maintained HI01 % discount different for head office & two branch office with same sales org, Distr Channel and division.
Here HO is given 2% discount and one branch office 5% and another 7%
When I am creating sales order for 7% branch, in pricing procedure it shows only 2% (HO) discount but not 7% for branch office. I have also tick marked in XD02 at billing tab price determination. In pricing analysis hirearchy 02 is having Exclaimation in Customer field. So why I am missing this customer field even though I have maintained that customer in VK11. Hope I have summarized all details. If any questions please feel free.
I shall appreciate if you know the resolution.

This is now resolved by proper settings in Customer Hierarchy

  • Customer Hierarchy not showing in sales document

    Hi All,
I have used the standard hierarchy type (A) to create a 2(or 3) level hierarchy  (top level node, 2nd level node and sold t party) and the hierarchy assignments look fine at the customer level. I have assigned the hierarchy type to the sales order type as well. But the hierarchy does not get carried over to the sales orders (contracts) when I create  the documents. I am sure it is something really silly, but any idea what I might be missing or where to start looking.
Thank you so much for your help in advance...

Have you Mainted Price determination in the custome masrter record of the billing Tab.
Have you correctly maintained the partner determinatin procedures.
Have you assigned Customer hierarchy to your sales area
Have you created Customer with 0012 Account group.
Now you need to assign the customer creatd using 0012 to the customer 0001 account group.
Have you maintainted the Customer heirarchy in VDH1n transaction..
Here you need to assign 0001 account group customer to 0012 customer
If u have maintained all these settings correctly you will get the hierarchy customer in SO.

  • How to download customer hierarchy in Excel sheet?

    Hi,
    Good day.
I was able to display the customer hierarchy via transaction VDH2N however, I would also like to download and save this hierarchies in Excel but there was no such option in that transaction. Can anyone tell me how and where I can download the customer hierarchy, please? I wanted to downloaded exact details found in VDH2N. Please help.
Thank you and have a good day.
    Kindest regards,
    Lemily

    Hi Saurabh,
Thanks for your immediate reply. The issue I have with SE16N is that it did not generate all complete and exact details for customer hierarchy that is found in transaction VDH2N. In VDH2N, I can see that there are 3 levels and other sub levels. But when I tried to use SE16N, it did not capture all levels, especially the sub levels. And I wanted to download or export all customer level that is found in VDH2N but this is not possible in SE16N.
Thank you and have a nice day.
    Kindest regards,

  • Customer Hierarchy Determination in Sales Order Header

    Hello Gurus,
I am trying to determine how the customer hierarchy is being determined in the sales order for our instance of SAP. I can see 1D..1H get populated as partners so five levels are being bought in with 1H being the highest. The confusing part is how come 1A..1C is not being populated with any data. Wouldnt the system start at 1A and populate to 1E the five levels. Instead the partners for hierarchy are starting at 1D. How does the system not populate 1A as start point? Is each hierarchy nodes somehow linked to 1A..1H?

Did the hierarchy been assigned in t.code OVH4? If not, assign and test by creating a new sales document.

  • Customer Hierarchy and Contract

    Hi Friends,
I have a requirement - where my client has a customer who is globally located .....every year the Customer Head office gives a contract to my client and the contract is valid across his offices located globally...say one office in UK,one in US,one in Australia.....Referring to the same contracts orders have to be created for the UK ,US customer like wise.
And every time a slaes order is created based on the order from the UK/US customers the qty has to get decreased from the same contract.
Pl share some idea on how to go with this.
    Cheers
    Ivy

    Hi,
As per info. given in the question,There are two levels in Customer's org as far as
Global Head quarter of customer  is SP for Contract and it's country branches are  SH
    or
Global Head quarter of customer  is SP for Contract and it's country branches are  SP for release order.
[Authorized partners to release the contract|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/dd/55fdbb545a11d1a7020000e829fd11/content.htm]
Depending on the scenario you can configure.
In T-code V0V8 you need to select appropriate partner authorization rule in contract section of contract doc.type.
You need to define partner determination procedure for contract.-In customizing  Sales-Basic function-Partner determination-set up partner determination.
You need to maintain customer hierarchy master data.V-12
    Thanks,

    Hi Phyllis
There is a known bug with the BP ref field. Try double clicking on a customer/supplier in the ageing report to get details. Then go back and print and suddenly the BP ref field does print. I know this has been logged but haven't seen a fix in any of the recent patches. Maybe search
SAP notes and see if it has been addressed yet, if not log with SAP support.
    Kind regards

  • VBOF on rebate agreements for 2 customers in same customer hierarchy

    Hello,
I have 2 agreements for two customers. One customer is in the customer hierarchy of the other customer but on a higher level. When I turn VBOF, the agreement on the higher level is cancelled. Is this not possible?
    thanks

There are two customers and they both have a different rebate agreement. One of the two customers has a 'grouping' account group and the other customer is part of this group in the customer hierarchy.
I had to execute the VBOF because there were old invoices that had to be updated. When I did that the rebate agreement fixed with the higher level customer is overruled...
