"AlphaOmega" could not load in 64-bit mode.

I just updated to Lion and installed iTunes 10.4.  Now when I start iTunes I get this message:
“AlphaOmega” could not load in 64-bit mode. Try selecting “Open in 32-bit mode” in the Finder’s info window for iTunes.
Any ideas? I'm on a Core i5 MacBook Pro.

What did you do to remove it?  I have the same error but I can't find the visualizer for AlphaOmega or Trapcode.  Just found QuartzComposer is all...

  • Whitecap could not load in 64 bit mode error when opening iTunes. What do I do?

Upgraded to Lion recently. Opened iTunes and got a "Whitecap could not load in 64 bit mode". Tried to sync my iphone a few times but iTunes crashed. Managed to fix the problem by making iTunes run in 32bit mode only. My version of iTunes is 10.4 (80). Something is wrong here though as I thought this version is a 64 bit version.

there's a system library and each user has a library. have you ever installed something and the installer asked you if you wanted to install it for all users? it would put that in the system library. the way you installed this whitecap plugin for itunes as your user, my user can still log onto the same machine and not be affected by it. why did they hide the user's library folder? i guess they felt you wouldn't need to go in there and mess things up on accident. the other way to get to these "hidden" folders is by going to finder and clicking the Go menu then Go To Folder (Shift + Command + G). it's even tab completable, which is nice =)

  • ITunes throws "SpectoGraph" could not load in 64-bit mode

After uphgrading to Lion starting iTunes throws "SpectoGraph" could not load in 64-bit mode.
Try selecting "Open in 32-bit mode" in the Finder's info window for iTunes.
Is there any change in Lion? I guess I have to open iTunes in 32-bit, but the question is why?

Is SpectoGraph built into iTunes or a third-party add-on? If the latter you need to ask the developer about it.

  • "Magnetosphere" could not load in 64-bit mode

Since upgrading to Lion and iTunes 10.4, an alert "Magnetosphere" could not load in 64-bit mode pops up each time I launch iTunes.
I have tried reinstalling iTunes 10.4.
Any ideas how to resolve the issue without telling iTunes to run in 32-bit mode?

Yes, Lion has hidden it by default.
To unhide the folder open up Terminal and type the following command:
    chflags nohidden /Users/<Username>/Library
Once you have done that, type 'exit' and close Terminal.

  • Itc_plugin.dll could not load in 64-bit mode after installing iTunes 12.01

    Hi,
I just updated iTunes on my Windows 8.1 Samsung Laptop to the most recent version, iTunes 12.01. Since then it's showing the following message when it starts:
"itc_plugin.dll could not load in 64-bit mode"
and a checkbox for "don't show this message again'
I don't know if this itc_plugin.dll is even important, it seems to work fine. Should I be worried? I already reinstalled iTunes to see if it were an installation problem but the error still shows.

The .dll file could be a legacy from an older version of iTunes or third party software. I don't have a copy, neither can I track down any information about it. You might want to locate it and remove it from the iTunes plugins folder or click "Don't show this message again".

  • Ituneshelper.dll could not load in 64-bit mode

I am receiving this message when opening iTunes after the update and neither my ipod nor ipad will connect and be recognized.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
    iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

  • Error starting iTunes 10.4: "eXo" could not load in 64-bit mode.  Try selecting "Open in 32-bit mode" in the Finder's info window for iTunes.

Didn't see this error until I updated to Lion and iTunes 10.4.  Just curious if anybody else is seeing the problem.

Fallout75, good catch on the eXo plugin.  To remove it, in the Finder click "Go" on the menu bar and pull down to "Go to Folder" and then type ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins
When that Finder window opens, you should see an "eXo" subdirectory.  Just delete that "eXo" folder and iTunes should start without the error.

  • "send" could not load in 64-bit mode

    Hi,
I just updated to Mac OS X Lion and everytime I open iTunes (v.10.4) I get this annoying pop-up.
How can I get rid of this?
The only plug-in installed in /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins is "Quartz Composer Visualizer". Should I delete this one?
    Thanks in advance.
    RM

    Problem solved!
There were two hidden bundles in the /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/ directory.
Just trashed those two and everything works fine without annoying pop-ups!

  • Gaslight could not open in 64 bit mode

Since upgrading to Lion everytime I open iTunes I get this message. There's really no other information other than a check box saying don't show this again and a suggestion to try opening iTunes in 32 bit mode, neither of which I really care to do.
I can't find much information about what "gaslight" is. I think it may be the visualizer that comes with iTunes.

Wrong folder. You need to be looking in the iTunes Plug-ins folder in your user's home folder. The Library folder is hidden in Lion now, so you'll need to use the Go menu -> Go to Folder command in Finder and use the following path:
    /Volumes/[name of your hard drive]/Users/[your user shortname]/Library/
Then look in the iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins folder there.

  • Design mode could not load ... It may be incompatible...:FB4 Beta 2 and Flex SDK 4.1

    Hello,
ever since I upgraded to the latest nightly builds about two weeks ago (SDK 4.1) I get the error mentioned above, and the design mode of Flash Builder 4 Beta 2 doesn't work any more:
Design mode could not load he.enwipe.core.swc. It may be incompatible with this SDK, or invalid. (DesignAssetLoader.CompleteTimeout)
Design mode could not load PureMVC_AS3_MultiCore_1_0_5.swc. It may be incompatible with this SDK, or invalid. (DesignAssetLoader.CompleteTimeout)
and also all other "swc" inside my project that do not come directly from the SDK or Flash Builder.
Any ideas what could be the cause?

    Hi,
Did you switch your projects build option to merge into code rather than have runtime libraries generated.
    David.
[edit'] I really should sleep a bit more- I miss read the question, but you will probably need to break down your project to see what the issue is mxml by mxml, one thing is that any mxml headers need to halo name space renamed to mx.
    as below -
    xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"

  • Design mode could not load playerglobal.swc.

    I'm getting this warning
Design mode could not load playerglobal.swc. It may be incompatible with this SDK, or invalid. (DesignAssetLoader.CompleteTimeout)
    I installed Flash Builder 4 Beta 2
    And added the
    Player Global SWC
Create content using the new APIs available in Flash Player 10.1 using Adobe Flash Builder 4 or Adobe Flex Builder 3. Installation instructions are included within the ZIP file.
Download Player Global SWC (ZIP, 294 KB)
How do I eliminate this warning?
    Thanks,
    Don

    Hi,
If you want to use the new fp 10.1 features I would recommend that you download the latest nightly build of the sdk, this includes features required for 10.1 and also has both both globalplayer swc's. You can then target then player 10.0.0 or 10.1.0 in the project settings.
Also make sure that the flashplayer 10.1 beta is correctly installed.
    David.

  • Burrito - Design mode could not load

Also in Burrito i get the Warning in Problems View:
Design mode could not load Mate_08_9.swc. It may be incompatible with this SDK, or invalid.
The message appears also for SQLExtension ans ThonderBolt.
Is there a solution available or it is still a bug?
    thanks
    Frank

    Hi,
There is no issue in Design view related to this.  mate_08_9.swc is not compatable with the sdk you are using. So no change planned from FB side for this. Please  contact the swc owners to resolve the issue.
Theoritically this should not affect the DV fucntionalities (which dont depend on this swc)
Very soon we will be providing an applicaiton (Not part of FB) which can be used by the swc owners to anlyse the DV reported issues of their swc.
    thanks,
    Rani

  • Could not load file or assembly 'BusinessObjects.Enterprise.Sdk' with 64 bit SDK

I have made sure that I am referencing the 64 bit sdk .dlls from C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\. I only have 64 bit installed as well. Are InfoStore, Framework, and PluginManager only x86?

    Hi Dustin
You do  not need to be concerned if your app references 32 or 64 bit assemblies. VS being 32 bit, needs to reference 32 bit assemblies in order to compile correctly. Thus running the app from the VS IDE, you wil be using 32 bit assemblies. Using a compiled exe or a DLL, the app will use 32 bit or 64 bit assemblies depending on how the app was compiled and "bitness" of the OS.
E.g;; an app compiled as 32 bit will require 32 bit assemblies
An app compiled as 64 bit will run 64 bit assemblies - on 64 bit OS only.
An app compiled as "Any CPU", will run 32 b it or 64 bit assemblies, depending on the OS. On a 64 bit OS, the app will by definition use 64 bit assemblies (but it is up to you to deploy the 64 bit runtime - not the 32 bit runtime). On a 32 bit OS the app will use 32 bit assemblies.

  • Jre 6 update 20 on 64-bit Windows 7 - Could not load the Java Virtual Machi

    Hi,
    I download and installed jre 6 update 20 (64-bit) on Windows 7 (64-bit).
I ran a 3rd party Java application and I got the error saying 'Could not load the Java Virtual Machine.'.
I found that the jvm.dll is installed under c:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\servere folder.
I checked the registry and the JVM is pointing to c:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\client folder.
    May questions are:
    1) Why does the registry point to the clinet folder instead of server folder?
    2) Should I change my registry entry to point to the server folder to fix my error - Could not load the Java Virtual Machine?
    3) Is there a better way to fix the issue besides chaning the regiatry?
    Thanks.
