ALV GRID AVERAGE WEIGHTNESS

Hi, how can we do aaverage weightness in alv grid on grouped levels records.
EX:
level group 1       level group2     qty              price          average weightness
PL1                    GR1                10              30              (10*30)/23
PL1                    GR1                13              32              (13*32)/23

I think you will have to handle this in a program and populate new columns AVERAGE. I am afraid to say i did not find any functionality for AVERAGE in ALV.

    I've been searching for some info about averages in OO Alv grid lists but cannot find an answer to what I'm really need. The question is that, for getting an average, a 'C' value must be set in the field DO_SUM of the fieldcatalog structure for a field.
    Now, the problem is that I need the average of a date field (in 'normal' date format). I've tried it several times and read a lot of things but cannot find a real answer: Could it be done the average of a date field (e.g. for dates 01.05.2009, 02.05.2009 and 03.05.2009 the average is 02.05.2009).

  • Display of "Average Values Text in ALV grid"

        I use ALV grid to display  the fields from a table. I have 15 columns.  I need to do average for four columns.
    In the field catalog i did a do_sum for those fields.
       When the ALV grid is displayed I get average values for these columns.
    Eg. Let suppose the grid looks like
    Field1           Field2           Field3             Field4     Field5         Field 6.
    vendor1       18                 22                   6            17                28

  • Custom total/subtotal formula in an ALV Grid and printing.

    I have an ALV grid using OOPs method (Class cl_gui_alv_grid). The table that I am displaying is a dynamic table.

    On one of the columns in the ALV grid, instead of the regular summation, I had to do weighted averages (not avg).
    I built a logic to manipulate this total field for that column using field symbols.

    Now, II am able to see my custom formula on the screen. But when I print the grid using the print button or when I export to an excel sheet(I use export to local file and then select excel there) , my custom formula that i calculated above is reset to 0.000 .
    (Also when I email the grid, my custom formula is wiped). How can I avoid this ? Any useful suggestion is well appreciated.

  • Dump when summing up CURR field in ALV GRID display

    I am getting dump when I try to sum the CURR field in my ALV Grid Display. The field is of CURR 23.  I am using classes and methods to display alv grid.
    I tried passing <fs_fieldcat>-do_sum = 'X'. When I did this, it is dumping without even displaying the alv grid.

    Don't   do  total  by your  self  in the Pogram.
    in the   Fieldcatalog  there is an Attribute which will do total  &  Average .
    Enable it so that  from one  internal  table   data   it self it will do  good.

  • Regarding user interface in subtotal line of ALV grid, ensure points

    Hi,
    I have 3 fields,
    A= vendor , B = freight , C = Cost PMT
    When the vendor get changed, My Grid is showing subtotal of B i.e freight.
    Now my requirement is, in the same subtotal line, I want average of C (Cost PMT) field.
    So how we can interact with the subtotal line of the ALV grid.

    Read the documentation of FM ICON_CREATE, the purpose of the Function module is entirely different from what you are using it for.
    To print Icons in ALV (Using FMs ) all you need to do is to send the Icon name in the field.
    Also parameters TEXT and INFO of FM ICON_CREATE seem to be flags, that are appended to the icon name so that when you set it on the screen the appropriate info or Text is shown.

  • Percentage Total/Subtotal in ALV Grid

    Dear All,
    I have to display an ALV report with percentage feilds. Everything is fine but the problem arises when the standard ALV sum functionality is used. It simply adds up all the percentage columns. Making do_sum = 'C' wont help either as it would simple give an average of all the percentage. My requirement is to show them through calculation. I have searched the web and saw some solutions with SUBTOTAL_TEXT nad some with OOP programming but i am not able to get this. Can anybody please help.

  • Custom Function on OO ALV Grid

    I am trying to implement ALV_GRID_XT to enhance the ALV Grid toolbar by adding couple of custom funcitons.As per the SAP documentation I have created 2 methods ON_TOOLBAR - one for adding items on toolbar and the other ON_USER_COMMAND - for processing if the user clicks on the custom function.
    I am unable to relate the ALV Grid instance onto the method ON_USER_COMMAND . One of the funciton is to calculate the average of column which represents percentage excluding cells with zero values. Once the user selects column(s) and clicks on the Percent button on the ALV grid my piece of code should trigger ON_USER_COMMAND and then display the average percentage on the Totals row.
    Method ON_USER_COMMAND has only one parameter E_UCOMM which i am able to get in the method but I am not able to get the instance of the ALV grid so that I can play around with the data in the Grid.
    I could have used a local class and then enhanced the ALV toolbar but this requirement is needed for about 20 reports and hence thought of implementing it globally.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • Multiple ALV Grid Controls per report - problem with default displ.variant

    Hi,
    I have a report with few screens called sequentialy. Each one of the screens has implemented own instance of ALV Grid Control within custom container, means:
    - screen 100 has container Cont100 and grid control "grid100",
    - screen 110 has container Cont110 and grid control "grid110"
    - screen 120 has container Cont120 and grid control "grid120"
    and so on...
    Each one of the grid controls is initialized with own field catalog table, with own layout and variant structure definitions. My problem occurs when the user changes the display variant for some of the grid controls and save the layout variant using "default setting" checkbox. In this case next time the program is started all other grid controls behaves like they don't have their own variant definitions, but uses the default setting of the mentioned screen. This leads (usualy) to unsuable grid controls by default, because usualy different controls have no equal field-definition tables. I have the same behaviour even when there are more than 1 ALV grids on a single screen (for example - 2).
    For now I don't provide variant variables at selection screen, but it seems there is no way to provide such variables for each one of the grid-controls.
    Is anyone aware how to control this? Means no matter if there is default setting in use for some of the grid-controls, how to manipulate other grid-controls not to use this default setting?
