Hi all,Iam using 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY',my client want Insert/Delete/Change functionalities in my output.How to achive this? Any example?
Please dont provide examples with classes,I want to do it with 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' only.

I want to create one global toolbar which contains buttons for common operations such as add, delete, modify etc.
I have one globl .jspx page and in its center facet, I am loading my each screen's .jsff page.
Now I want to create global toolbar on my .jspx page and when I click on toolbar's add button at that time it should call, currently loaded .jsff (loaded in center facet of .jspx page) backing bean's add method.
How can I get the instance of currently loaded .jsff backing bean in my toolbar's backing bean and also I need it with its current state( means whatever UI components have values I should be able to get it in my instance).

since page templates don't support method expression arguments there are two options I can imagine
- define a contract between the toolbar buttons and the availability of a managed bean available for the consumer page. If for example each page has a managed bean like <viewId>_toolbar then the Toolbar could reference exposed methods on this bean (which must be consistent)
- Another option is to have the page passing in the EL string to access the iterator to operate on as an attribute of the template you use. Then you create a ValueExpression from it and call it for the button action events that you point to the managed bean you deploy with the template

When I use following stored procedure with crystal reports, following error occurs.

Problem Description
When running a RAM build you get the following error as seen in the RAM build

Solution Description
Here are the following suggestions to try out:
1. You may want to use oci instead of odbc for your RAM build, provided you
are running an Oracle database. This is setup through the RAA (relational access
administrator) maintenance procedure.
Also make sure your tnsnames.ora file is setup correctly in either net80/admin
or network/admin directory, to point to the correct instance of Oracle.
2. Commit or rollback the current transaction, then retry running your
RAM build. Seems like one or more of your lookup or fact tables have a
read-only lock on them. This occurs if you modify or add some records to your
lookup or fact tables but forget to issue a commit or rollback. You need to do
this through SQL+.
3. You may need to check what permissions has been given to the relational user.
The error could be a permissions issue.
You must give 'connect' permission or roll to the RAM/relational user. You may
also try giving 'dba' and 'resource' priviliges/roll to this user as a test. Inorder to
keep it simple, make sure all your lookup, fact and wh_ tables are created on
a single new tablespace. Create a new user with the above privileges as the
owner of the tablespace, as well as the owner of the lookup, fact and wh_
tables, inorder to see if this is a permissions issue.
In this particular case, the problem was resolved by using oci instead of odbc,
as explained in suggestion# 1.

ALV Grid - Add/Delete/Change Values

Hi,
I have an ALV Grid with editable fields. I know want to process the changed, deleted and added lines.
Is it not possible to get the shown ALV table back?
In the event DATA CHANGED I have only attributes and methods of CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL. So I have a method to get deleted, changed and added rows. But this event is only thrown, when I press enter or something else, but not when I´m pressing the icon for "add" or "delete".
End when the event is thrown, i´m only getting the changed data. In some case it´s not possible to react in the right way.
For example:
I have an internal table with 5 lines. I now build the alv grid with that table. When I´m now adding a line with the "add" Icon, the event is not thrown. But if I press enter, I can handle the event. In the event methods I now have one line in added data. But when I´m deleting and adding again, it sometimes "forget" some actions I have done. Isn´t there a better way to compare the changed data in ALV with my "real" internal table?
Next example:
If I´m adding a new line to the alv, I can compare the key of that line with the exisiting keys of my internal table. If the user has typed in a line with the same key, I can throw and error message.
But when the user is changing a line it should be possible to update that line. But how to compare, if the line is a new addewd line or a changed line?
I hope it´s not too complicated to understand!

As we can now make our ALV Grid editable we may require controlling input data. The ALV Grid has events data_changed and data_changed_finished. The former method is triggered just after the change at an editable field is perceived. Here you can make checks for the input. And the second event is triggered after the change is committed.
You can select the way how the control perceives data changes by using the method register_edit_event. You have two choices:
1. After return key is pressed: To select this way, to the parameter i_event_id pass cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_enter.
2. After the field is modified and the cursor is moved to another field: For this, pass cl_gui_alv_grid=>mc_evt_modifies to the same parameter.
To make events controlling data changes be triggered, you must select either way by calling this method. Otherwise, these events will not be triggered.
To control field data changes, ALV Grid uses an instance of the class CL_ALV_CHANGED_DATA_PROTOCOL and passes this via the event data_changed. Using methods of this class, you can get and modify cell values and produce error messages. Here are some of those methods:
get_cell_value: Gets the cell value. You pass the address of the cell to the interface.
modify_cell : Modifies the cell value addressed via parameters.
add_protocol_entry : Add a log entry. You make use of standard message interface with message type, message id, etc
protocol_is_visible : Make the error table visible or not.
refresh_protocol : Refreshing log entries.

You're going to need to be more specific, as I'm not quite sure I understand what you're talking about.
If you're referring to copying from an external hard drive or flash drive, and you want to actually move files rather than copy them, you can hold down the option key to force it to do a "move" rather than a "copy." This is not new behavior, though... the Mac OS has worked this way as long as I can recall (and I've been using it since 1984).
If you're having a problem with trying to move files from one place to another on a single drive causing them to be copied instead, that is likely because of some permissions issue preventing you from actually being able to move them.

Insert delete or update entry in Custom table from KONV entry changed

Hi All,
I have custom table ZKONV with only few required columns and should have same number of records as KONV has at any point in time.
KONV is a cluster table so its not readable from ORACLE level. So ZKONV is created. But I dont know how to keep these both tables in sync.
I need to perform insert delete or update entry in Custom table if insert delete or update happens on cluster table KONV from any transactions.
As KONV is a cluster table and does not have changed time stamp I am not able to know the number of records changed in perticulat time period.

There is a Outside SAP system which needs to read KONV data to feed into their system, but as KONV is cluster table they are not able to read it from ORACLE level.
To solve this we are thinking to create a transparent Z-table and will fill it with KONV and catch Update, delete or Insert statement and do same on ZKONv.
Is this possible some how? by some database event or something....

To answer your specific question, if you want to delete photo stream photos, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos you want to delete, tap Delete. (Unfortunately, there is no "select all" option.)

Have you tried the developer's support web site? Withut you providing the name of the app makes it very hard for us to give specific recommendations. The only one that i can thin of is to purchase the app using a diffeent iTunes account.

How do I insert/Delete/Update a row to the DB Table from Business Component Browser

I am using the wizard and created a project containing Business component which contain some table.
When I run the project I could see "Oracle Business Component Browser(local)" and when I select some table from "View Object Member" I get a window displaying all the field of that table and I could browse all the info.
My Problem is when I try to insert a new record/Delete the existing record or update some record it never gets reflected to the DataBase.
When I try to insert a new row I did save and there was a dialog box displayed saying "Transaction ID is 1". But finally It's not reflected in the Database.
Can some one guide me how can I do insert/delete/update operation from Oracle Component Business Browser so that the changes reflect to the Original DataBase.

This may be a problem of caching. If you do an update,insert, or delete, and do not receive an error, then the transaction should indeed be posted.
I assume you are hitting the Save icon after your changes if you are getting a transaction ID. Are you checking for the updates through another session (i.e. SQL*Plus), or do you then requery the View Object in the tester? Do you exit the tester and come back in and not see the changes?

Update/insert/delete data from xcelsius to Database via web service

Hi,
I need to create dashboard that go function can update/insert/delete data send to Database thru web services, as i know got 2 xcelsius add-on software which support those of function InfoBurst and flynet

Except this 2 purchase add-on xcelsius, any other solution ?
Maybe need to write some in MSSQL or C# programming which enable insert, update, delete ...etc ?
*note: i not use Xcelsius Engage Server , i use Xcelsius Engage only

Hi,
As of now in Xcelsius/Dashboard Design there is no feature or functionality to insert/update/delete data from database.
Solution:
Create a Web service in let’s say C# or Java, which will perform insert/update/delete operation.
In Xcelsius add Web Service connection and user above web service.
Xcelsius Web Service connection provides option to pass input values to a Web Service (Input Pane) and get the result (Output values pane).
We can pass values to be written to the database as a input to Web Service via Web Service connection from Xcelsius and write data to the database.
Note:
Performing delete operation from Xcelsius Dashboard could be risky and may delete important data from database. I would not prefer giving delete option/functionality in Xcelsius dashboard.
