ALV Print out

Hi Experts,
I have designed an ALV Report.While taking printout of this report I am getting 1 page extra which displays the Ststistics of the report such as Number of records passed.
If i am specifying print ranges from page 2, it is displaying properly.How to remove this page from print out?

List -> Print -> click to property button in print window -> expend cover sheets -> double click on ALV statistics , now uncheck the ALV statistics check box . now click on setting button and click on copy setting button .
now it will work after fresh login also .

where input parameter and output parameter would be ths vendor(the field you want with zeros)

Blocked alv print out.

I generated a 3 internal table Blocked ALV program. If i try to take print out, these theree internal table data means individual block of data is getting in separate separate pages. I want this three Internal table data i need to print in single page. If any one knows plz help me.

Can you check your code is there parameter " gs_print-grpchgedit = 'X'. " if this parameter is "X" then it will print in separate page's that is Page Break set. if you remove then it will continue in the same page . but still it depends on the Number of entires in each table . if each table has 5 entires then it will display in the same page.

Problem in Print Out of ALV report

Dear All..
I am trying to take print out of an ALV report. there are 36 columns in my report. when i try to take print out, warning appears which says system cannot print the last 277 columns of report.
i have tried using different formats for printer like :
Format                  Description

but every time the same message appears even on A3 size paper..
i am using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to display ALV.
Please help to to take out prints(can be in condensed mode) so that all columns appear on the print out..

ALV Report with Logo .. Print Out Problem

I am facing and differerent problem , I have created one Report in ALV contain logo of my company and some other details as per selection screen.
At the time of taking printoput the logo is not coming in print out only report data is coming.
How I take logo and ALV report in one print out .

Alv report Print out Problem

Hi Experts,
I am having problem while taking print out of Alv report format. In that report, 1 column contains Unit Values.
Eg. Unit value - 'LE' , AFTER USING CONVERSION EXIT LOGIC it is converted into 'AU' which is finally displayed in the Alv -Report display format.
while taking Print-out of that report , that field Unit Value 'AU' is Shown in this format "****'.

while defining filed catalog define the data type also
clear l_fieldcat.
l_fieldcat-fieldname = 'MEINS'.
l_fieldcat-datatype = 'UNIT'.
l_fieldcat-no_out = ' '.
l_fieldcat-do_sum = 'X'.
l_fieldcat-seltext_l = 'UOM'.
append l_fieldcat to p_fieldtab.

Problem in print out of Dynamic ALV

Hi ,
I am using dynamic ALV to address a requirement. The ALV is working fine and the output is also coming corretly, even in spool.
But if the width of dynamic table exceeds a limit, then nothing is coming in the print out.
If anyone has faced similar problem or knows how to tackle this problem, please advise what can be done here.

OO: ALV + Header w/ logo print out

Hi everyone!
I have a container splitted in two: one for a Header area in wich I add a logo and some header texts, and the other split for an ALV Grid.
The problem comes when I call the method PRINT_DOCUMENT from CL_DD_DOCUMENT. It print out only the header, but not the data in ALV Grid. Why is that? Is there any way to archieve this?

If you are using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY to disply report then use REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.
or else when you execute the report in Grid Display format in menu bar -> List - >Print Preview it shows the List format you need not to change anything.

How can I print out the file directory?

Years ago, I could print out a list of files in a folder from the finder window. Is there now a workaround utility to do that? I don't want to use screen shots, as the directory is too long and would require several screen shots. thx.

Hi Fenny,
you should use the report generation functions to create a report containing your graph image and print it.
Take a look at the Sample Test Report.vi you find in the report examples of LV.
Just look at the part of the diagram where it is used Append Control Image to report.vi (in the center of the report functions chain); a graph reference is wired to the Ctrl reference input ( to create a reference of your graph right click on it and select create reference).

How can I print out the contents of my hardrive

I have a hardrive with about 200 video clips and need to print the titles for cross refrerencing. I was just going to "grab" screenshots but this will take about ten sheets of paper. How can I print out a list of all the files on the drive?

I tried this Finder drag method & discovered that it is very important to set the blank TextEdit document to plain text before the drag (from the format menu or with Cmd-shift-t). If you don't, TextEdit attempts to load the content of the files!
Once I discovered this, I tried the method with Find (Cmd-F) results & it works for that, too. This means that by choosing the right combination of search location(s) & search criteria, you can extend the method to filter the list to just about any files you want, which could be very handy.
For instance, set the "Kind" criteria to "QuickTime Movie" & location to "Computer" & you get a list of every QT movie. Or set the search location to the folder containing the movies of interest & you get all of them, including ones in subfolders. You could also use the 'date created' or other search criteria to filter the list to a specific subset of movies (or whatever).
If you need to do this often, you could create one or more 'Smart Folders' with the criteria preloaded for each search.
The only drawback I see for either Finder based method is the full path one. If you are getting results from just one or a few folders, Find & Replace can delete any of the path name fairly easily, but it becomes a chore if there are a lot of different ones. Some other text editor, like TexEdit Pro, that supports grep searches would be handy here, but since I'm not up to speed on grep, someone else will have to explain how to use it for this, if they want.
