Alv with matchcode, restrict possible values to the ones in the matchcode?

Hi,
I have an ALV, and one of the columns has a matchcode that shows 3 possible values when it is clicked.
What's the easiest way to make these 3 values the only possible values for input in the field of the ALV?
How do I make sure the user can't input another value than one of those 3?

Thanks for you answer. The thing is, I am working with reuse_alv_grid_display, not with objects (the client won't let me), so I think that it is not possible to create a listbox, is it?

Possible values for the variable string in "keysym. sym : string "

The resource keysym for customizing the urxvt terminal has the syntax:
keysym.<sym>:<string>
As explained in the urxvt man page, <string> can contain "escape values". Even though there are different examples of values for the variable <string> on the web, I was wondering if there is a place where I can find a comprehensive list of possible values for this variable.
(I tried to look for this information at the X man page -- as indicated in the urxvt man page -- but I couldn't figure it out. I wonder if my difficulty is due to the fact that I'm not sure what the expression "escape values" refers to...).

From what I understand, the website you sent shows how to map a keycode to a keysym using the xmodmap utility. However, it seems to me that the use of the rule
URxvt.keysym.<sym>: <string>
in the .Xdefaults maps a keysym to an action, given by the value of the variable <string>.
Does this make any sense or am I missing something here?

How to restrict some values in the final report output.

I have scenario where I dont want to include the values in the output of report.
If you observe above there are some un assigned cost elements and its the report output. I dont want these to be in the report.

Restricting Null Values in the report

Hi All,
I have a aggregated feild displayed in the bottom of the report and sorted on the report on that field to show me top results.
When I try to run the report, Null values are coming first in the report (Displayed as NaN).
I want to restrict these null values from the report.

ensure that the path to the element is correct. Are you using a syntax like <?sum(current-group()/Petrofac-ECRevenue)?>

Problems with query with more than 20 values in the select clause

I have a region based on a function returning a SQL query. It needs to have more than 20 values in the select clause. When I run the page I get a no data found error in the region. I managed to reproduce this behavior with just the following as the select returned by the function:

Restrict variable values in the pop-up selection screen

I have a variable based on a caracteristic that has 0COMP_CODE as attribute in a Web Report (BW 3.1B).
This variable has to be accessible so that users can select a value.
I need to restrict the values that users can see on the selection screen according to their 0COMP_CODE value, even in the pop-up.
I have tryed authorization variable and user exit, but none worked.
The best I could do was a "several single values" variable that was preselected with the caracteristics of their 0COMP_CODE, but it didn't worked in the pop-up.
Does anybody knows how to handle this?

As far as I could find out, it should be made through customer exit.
The point is : I have to use a customer exit variable that has been check as "ready for input".
I can't find a way to restrict the values displayed in the variable selection screen (in the help pop-up window for this variable).
The exit can pre-fill the selection fields with values, but whenever the user opens the window, he sees all the values.
I have tryed all the values for I_STEP (0,1,2 and 3) but none did it.
Does anybody knows how to limit those values?

HI joshita,
I had a similar issue in the past where i wanted to attach permit to an order based on some characteristic of functional location at user exit 'IWO10002 - Customer check for order release'.
This will solve your purpose during release of the order.
You can also use the exit 'IWO10009 - Customer Check for 'Save' Event', this will check irrespective of the status of the order.

So the engineer came and, of course, everything was working ok. He did fit some kind of RF filter on my main socket, and 'changed the pair' on one of the outside cables. Since then, I've only had a noisy line once, and seem to have been connected for 3 days solid, which is a record!
I've switched back to my BT Home hub 3, which guavas me more stats. The line has previously given me up to 6mb/s, now only getting 1.6.
Do you think, now the line seems more stable, with the stats below I should be able to maintain a higher speed now?

Issue with adding a new value to the Default Login Page

Hopefully this is an easy one guys, I've added a select list item to the standard login page (P101) to allow the user to select a DOMAIN as well as entering their username and password.
When the next page is displayed and I try to retrieve the value held in the new field it has been cleared, but the values entered into items
P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are still present.
I can't figure out why the values held in items P101_USERNAME and P101_PASSWORD are still present but P101_DOMAIN has been cleared.
I've tried creating a value on page zero and writing the domain value to it using pl/sql and javascript but as soon as the next page is requested the value is cleared.
Any Ideas how to get around this????

How to hide dynamic parameters values in the URL with Reports 6i

I want to know a way of hiding the parameters values when asking for a report through the web.
Now I'm using the Reports 3.0.5.8 with a Cartridge defined in the Oracle Web Application Server 3.0.1.0.1. When you ask for a report with the parameters DESTYPE = cache and DESFORMAT = pdf, it is fully generated and in the Address or Location box of the browser, you can see http://webserver/cache/report.pdf (where cache is the virtual directory defined in the OWAS in which the .pdfs are cached). So, users cant see the Url used to generate the report.
Im trying to upgrade this configuration to Reports 6i with Cgi in a web server. I generate reports with no problems. The problem I have is I cant find how to hide the parameters values as before. I mean, when I ask for a report, once its generated I can see http://webserver/cgi-bin/rwcgi60.exe?server=ServerName&report=report.rdf&userid=user/pass@connection&destype=cache&desformat=pdf&P1=value1&P2=value2 in the Location box. It allows user to ask for another report changing the values of the parameters. I use these parameters to execute some query written in the Data Model. For example, imagine that the P1 represents the company id, the user (that is supposed to see only data of its company) can change this id, ask for a new report and see data of another company.
Ive already tried to use the key mapping option, but its not useful to me because the parameters values are dynamic and its impossible to define different entries in the cgicmd.dat for each possible value. The option of loading the parameter form before running a report is not useful to me either, because there exists specific screens for this purpose.
Is there any solution?

I have the below options for 'Calculate single values as'
1. Normalise according to Next group level Resul.
2. Normalize according to Overall Result
3. Rank number
4.Olympic Rank Number
5.Maximum
6. Minimum
7.Counter for all detailed values
8.Counter for all detailed values that are non zero
9.Moving average
10.Moving average That is Not zero ,null or Error
11. Hide.
So could you please tell me where i can find 'suppress result' option for the keyfigure .

I want a way to get the max date but only look at rows with a certain category value - ignoring the other rows. My detail table contains expenditures including date (col A) and category (col D) the number of rows will increase with expenditures over time. My summary table will have a cell for each category and display the last expense date for that category using a functionality that I must ask of you, dear community.
I am using the latest numbers on an iPad (4) with IOS6.
Secondarily, I would like to add another cell in the summery table with the value (col E) of the last expense for each category.

With the addition of an auxiliary column to the Main table, a second header row to the Most recent table, and a minor modification to the formula on the second table, the tables can handle a range of dates set by entering the first and last date into A1 abd B1 respectively of the summary table, Most recent.
Note that the selected range, shown with a green background in the auxiliary column, does not contain any category B expenses. Using LOOKUP, this would result in a repeat of the January 6 expense bering listed in this row. Switching to VLOOKUP, which can be set to require an exact match, allows the result shown—if there are no expenses in a given category, the formula returns "none" (or whatever message you substitute for "none" in the formula in that column).
Formulas:
Main::A2: =IF(OR(B<Most recent :: $A$1,B>Most recent :: $B$1),"x"&E,E)
Fill down to the end of column A.
This column must be located on the left side of the table (ie. must be column A), but may be hidden.
Most recent::A2: =IFERROR(VLOOKUP($D,Main :: $A:$D,COLUMN()+1,FALSE),"none")
"FALSE" will display as "Exact match" in Numbers's formula editor.
Fill down to the end of the table and right to column C.

You have a tricky requirement but I can only think of one thing but it would require user training. Try the following.
You can setup a new variable with default values and define it as type multiple single values.
The user could in the variable screen would then need to take out the ones that are not needed.

I want to restrict the dropdown values for search criterion 'Status' in the search opportunity view.This has to be restricted to the search popup we get when we select 'Add Opportunity' in the sub-opportunity assignment block.The restricted dropdown values of the popup should not get reflected else where .
I want only 3 values in the dropdown corresponding to the 'Status' search criterion.

Hi Shilpi,
On the pop-up view in the method DO_INIT_CONTEXT, you must be populating the values in the context node used for your drop-down list. So while setting the values to the context node used for displaying the values for the drop-down box, you can alter the internal table values.
for example something like this,
MY_DROPDOWN is my context node on the popup view.
LT_VALUES has teh values that i wish to display in the drop-down list
so in the DO_INIT_CONTEXT method of the popup view,
ME->TYPE_CONTEXT->MY_DROPDOWN->SET_VALUE_TABLE( LT_VALUES ).
The SET_VALUE_TABLE method called with reference to the context node will set the values in the internal table passed to the drop-down list.
