Am unable to get my network as default, it searches every time.
I am unable to get my wireless network set as default. It goes into search mode every time I wake from sleep. Have tried all the "Help" remedies.

I am unable to update any add-ons at all. Every time I try and install an add-on or even the new "show hidden add-ons" add-on, I get a server error. How do I fix this?
You may have triggered some intermittent database issues but it should be running smooth by now. Let us know if you still see server errors.

I am trying to get into my Game Center app but every time I tap on the app it opens too a blank white screen. I have tried several times to reset my phone but I get the same result.

It sounds like you are tapping the Game Center app to open it, but the screen is blank. I recommend signing out of your account:
Go to Settings > Game Center, where you can:
Sign out (tap your Apple ID)

Firefox is trying to update my 8.0 version to 9.0.1. I'm not ready to do so because the Norton Toolbar is not yet compatable with the new Firefox release. I have tried EVERY suggestion Adobe has made and no matter what, I get the black "Adobe Reader Installer" screen EVERY TIME!! Any suggestions to help me overcome this problem would be appreciated. BTW: I have a Windows 7 Home OS. I prefer FireFox. I have successfully downloaded Adobe Reader using all the major browsers, however it does NOT matter, I am NOT able to actually install Adobe Reader, every time all I get is the black pop-up "Adobe Reader Installer" screen!!!
PS.... I had a previous version on my computer that needed to be updated.... so I uninstalled it because I was having trouble installing the new version.... so even that did not help!!

I keep getting a restore to previous session box every time that I log on to Fire fox--Why
I am getting the "restore to previous session" box every time that I now start my Firefox browser get onto the internet. This is on my laptop. Why do I get this box on my start page. Is there a special method of signing off with the browser? This has been happening for several weeks.
That is a new feature that started with Firefox 4.0, with the '''about:home''' homepage which was also new in Firefox 4.0. The previous session is saved automatically, unlike earlier versions.

Why do I get "The form data has expired." every time with Flash formatted CFFORM moved to CF 9.1?
We are moving a ColdFusion site from CF8 to CF9.1 and have discovered that any CFForm that was uses Flash as it's format keeps giving us the "The form data has expired." error almost every time we visit the page containing the form. We have fiddled with the timeout settings and even tried to add the various "cfheader" workarounds that some people have mentioned when getting this error, but to no avail. To be clear this works perfectly on CF8 *and* it works on our CF 9.1 QA server, but for some reason fails on the Live Server. Supposedly the Live server completely matches the QA server, but the behavior is sure different in this instance.
What could be the issues? What Apache or CF settings might I look into? Could there be some weird permissions error on the generated swf form file or some other obscure reason? I am totally in the dark and can't figure out why ColdFusion keeps thinking the form data has expired.
Please, any ideas would be welcome.

I suspect your suspecion about permissions is the closest to the answer. But this is a little out of my depth of expertise.
Realize that ColdFusion default behavior is to NOT generate and actual swf FILE. Rather what it does is generate the swf content in memory and directly deliver it to the client. But if the web server is configured to look for an actual file system file you may have a clash going on -

This is probably a setting in your operating system.
I don't have the Windows 10 Preview version but try either searching for Autoplay or go to
Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Autoplay
The phone is probably being treated as a camera and so set the default action accordingly.

Incoming network connections – must accept manually every time I launch
I keep getting asked, every time I launch iTunes, whether I want to allow it to accept incoming network connections.
Isn't there any way to avoid this extra step every time I want to run this application?Just in case anyone stumbles upon this thread like I did...while searching for the same problem with Keynote (or maybe other apps). Deleting the Keynote app and emptying the trash worked to clear up my persistent "allow incoming network connections" pop-ups in Keynote. But since you can't just download Keynote again (unless you purchased form the Mac App Store), here's what you can do:
Type "Keynote" into the spotlight search. When you see the app in the search results, Command+Click on it to open up it's Finder location. Then right-click (CTRL+Click) on the Keynote app file in Finder and choose "Compress..." to create a zip of the app in the same folder location as the original. Now delete the keynote.app file to send it to the trash. Lastly empty the trash. Once the app is gone**, double-click on the zip file to expand Keynote again in it's original location. Once you're satisfied, you can send the zip file of Keynote to the trash.
**If you still get the problem even when deleting the app and emptying the trash, then you might need to delete and purge the "plist" file for keynote as well. It is located at /Users/YOURUSER/Library/Preferences (where YOURUSER is your own personal username) and the file is called com.apple.iWork.Keynote.plist. If you don't know how to get to your Library folder on later version of Mac OS X, you can open Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking "Go" in Finder's menu bar, and Library will magically appear as a Go location. -
How to get new project page on opening garageband every time?
sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but is there a way to get garageband to come up with the page asking me to make a new project every time i open it (rather than taking me to the last one opened)?
i work at a college and stuidents share machines and use a generic "student" account, so if they use garageband they will open it up and the last person's project will open up automatically (which may not be theirs). occasionally it just comes up with the "make new project" page. can't find anything in preferences.
any ideas?it'll work if you can get each last student to close their work ... easier said then done, usually. good luck!

Every time. And there's no obvious way to avoid it.
You may be able to disable file and MIME type, but they're grayed-out on my version of Quick Time. Also, the article http://kb.mozillazine/quicktime concerns installation. It does not mention how to change the default settings

What does this mean and how can it be stopped?No reply? No fix? I have the same annoying issue and its persistent. I has rendered LR totally unusable. WTF is going on? Force quit --> Re-open --> Same error --> Force quit --> etc.

I get a nimax.exe- Application Error every time I start labview
every time I start a vi either by double clicking or by opening labview first I get an application error... "the instruction at "0x1ca12b96" referenced at "0x00000000", The memory could not be "read", click ok to terminate the program". when I click ok the program does not terminate and as long as I don't close labview completely I can close it and reopen the vi. I am unsure if the program malfuncions after that point but it is certainly an annoyance. Have you seen this problem before? Is there something that I should do to the vi to correct the problem? K.H. ControlsI talked to NI about this issue, and tried the following WITH success (note that I am running W2k and Labview 6.0.2):
1. Uninstall all NI components in the reverse order you installed them. For me, this was Ni-Daq, Ni-488.2, and finally Labview 6.0. If you have to, look at the modified or created dates of the folders to see what order you did it in.
2. After this, I decided to go a bit further and delete the registry key for Ni-Daq under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\NI-DAQ. Make sure you Export your registry key beforehand in case something goes wrong.
3. Install Labview 6.0, custom installation. For this installation, DO NOT INSTALL the drivers, just Labview.
4. After that, I installed the upgrade patch for Labview 6i -> 6.0.2, downloaded at ni.com.
5. Next I downloaded the 2 files for NI-DAQ 6.9.3, uncompressed the files, and ran the setup. When the installation was done, I chose to not reboot now, but let me do it later. At one of these points, you can also Mass compile the VI's. I don't think it's necessary at this point, but I did it anyway.
6. Finally, I downloaded NI-488.2 version 2.2 (which has a new version of MAX than NI-DAQ 6.9.3), uncompressed it and installed it.
7. After this last step, I rebooted the computer and was able to finally get into MAX to configure my DAQ card.
So far, this method has worked. Perhaps it can work for you.

Why is it that when I choose titles like Lens Flare and Boogie Lights (and others) the SHOW FONTS tab in the upper left isnt there?? You can't modify these? That seems like a very odd limitation
