Android Phone Adobe Reader

I signed a pdf now need to save to ph to upload to sharefile - help! I'm only being given a handful of options and none are to file.
Is there a program I can buy to do this on my phone? Is there any other work around?

Hi,
You are correct, with the latest update, we have modified the links appearance.
This decision was based on a feedback from the users.
We changed the appearance as users were reporting that the 'blue rectangles' that used to indicate links, were interfering with their document viewing experience. Also, since those rectangles are actually not how the author made the file, we wanted to make the file look exactly as the author had desired.
Thanks,
Adobe Reader Team

I can, however, read the same PDF attachments if I receive said PDFs in my Gmail account.
    Please advise.

  • Buttons in pdf forms on Android with Adobe Reader

    Hello all,
We used Adobe Acrobat XI to make a form and it was working great on Android. (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.2) using the Adobe Reader app.
We were able to open the form and create a copy and edit it and save it. It works fantastic... Except....
All of a sudden had a user that wanted an increment / decrement button for a number field.
Well, that's all fine and dandy for a fillable form on a desktop but I ran into issues on Android.
The Android app for Adobe Reader doesn't seem to recognize the buttons to increment / decrement the value. It doesn't really even see them as buttons.
On an iPad, The Adobe Reader app does see this and act accordingly.
They are ran off of a javascript action-  getField("fieldName").value++  / value-- respectively.
Is there a way or should the Android app be recognizing these buttons?
    Thanks,
    James

Manually download the files to your computer (right-click on the url). When the file is downloaded to your computer do you get the same message when you try to open in Reader through the File->Open menu? What about when you open the file in Mac's Preview application?

  • Android Downloads (Adobe Reader)

Adobe Reader version 4.0 was not working, so I removed it from my new touch tablet.
Polorid EM543 had this old version.  Trying to replace it with a newer version was hard.
I can access dozens of web pages, but the help web page for this device cannot be
    accessed.
The links to down load were Google or Amazon.  They required personal information and
    inputting of passwords.
To input Goggle / Amazon passwords etc. is very difficult when the tablet is a 4 inch version.
These download apps won't enlarge  and I have a disability that makes it hard to even
do any touch typing on this device.  Much less seeing what appears to be a 1/64 of an inch
    font (or less).
If I click on the link to manufacturers site the down load requires Apple and they don't
give the correct down load (even when selecting the Android tablet option).
I had to give them my personal information, including financial information.  All of this to get
a free app.  The result is Apple gives the person xxx.ipa file.  Not the needed xxx.apk file that
    is needed.
To make things worse, there is no link to report web page problems like this to Adobe.  They
must think that their programmers are perfect and never forget any thing and have thought of
    every thing.

    Hello Don,
I would like to help you, but I'm not sure what exact problem you are having that I can help with from here in the Adobe Reader forums. We don't have anything to do with the manufacturer's web page for your Polaroid tablet, or Google Play or Amazon's account requirements or user interface.
If you would like to go directly to a web page that will allow you to download the Reader APK, you can go here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/
Because the devices are typically set up to distribute apps via the app stores, this web page is not optimized for mobile use, and may stll be difficult yo use with low vision on a small device.
Choose Android for the OS, English for the language, and download the highest version available to get the Reader APK. You may need to configure your android device to allow installing apps manually, as well, if you haven't already done so.

  • Adobe reader is not letting flash videos for android at this time what am i going to use with my android phone now?

i went to Adobe Reader to download flash player for my Android phone and they are nolonger supporting android phones . what can i do? so that i can watch my email videos?

Some people have suggested installing the last version of the Flash plugin that worked, but due to lots of security bugs in older versions of the Flash player, this is hard to recommend.
Could I suggest asking on a forum specific to your Android device? You can find those on many sites now, but the one I generally visit is [http://forums.androidcentral.com/ Android Central].

  • Is JavaScript "enabled" in Adobe Reader for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Playbook, ... ?

  • Can't install Adobe Reader for Android on my Tablet

    Hi everyone,
I purchased lately a Binatone HomeSurf Tablet running on Android. I wanted to install Adobe Reader on it. I downloaded it all right, but when I wanted to install it on the Tablet, I got the message "impossible to install Adobe Reader on this phone"
Is there anything I can do to make Adobe Reader run on my tablet ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eric, from Belgium...

You are lucky you can download it. My problem with my C
ruzMicro T301 Tablet PC running Android 2.2 is that
Adobe's website doesn't appear to ackowledge my device at all. I cannot download apps from adobe's website, I have tried to download it to my computer then unpack it to my tablet via a USB hookup that was successfull however it wouldn't install and was missing the .apk file wich is needed to run the program. I have looked at several .pdf readers and found none that will install on my tablet including this one so i am wondering what the deal is? How hard is it to make a universal android .pdf reader?

  • Where's Reflow in Adobe Reader for Android 10.1?

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded, installed, and provided feedback on the most recent update for Adobe Reader for Android 10.1. While many users are happy with the updates we made in the release, we clearly made a mistake in removing the Reflow feature.  We hear your comments and it’s our top priority to bring this feature back as quickly as possible.  We will let you know as soon as we have additional updates.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback.
    Dennis Griffin
    Principle Product Manager, Adobe

Thank you, thank you. Anxiously awaiting.
I am really hindered on Andriod phone by this mishap with 10.1.0.
Is there any way to down-grade to the previous  v10.0.2?
I know it had some problems,
but having Reflow is worth the occasional crash.
Please consider offering the old version unless there is a v10.2.0
    with Reflow real soon now.
    Thanks.
    SEMI-SOLVED:
    I went to http://get.adobe.com/es/reader/otherversions/ ,
    downloaded "Reader X (10.0.2) for Android 2.1"
to my Samsung GT-I550 running Android 2.2,
and then installed it with EasyInstaller from the Market.
    Now I have Reflow again.
No more upgrade until Reflow is back again.
Thanks for making the solution available.
    Richard.

  • Adobe Reader for iOS and Android & Rights Management

This week's release of Reader for iOS and Android devices incorporates support for accessing files secured by Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management.
As you are probably familiar, LiveCycle Rights Management protects sensitive documents by encrypting them with industry-standard AES encryption and enabling central management of their access permissions. Protections persist even when documents are accidentally distributed via email, the cloud, or saved on a lost mobile device.
Many of the core capabilities that you are used to on the desktop versions of Acrobat and Reader are now supported when you are on the go on your tablet or mobile phone. We intend to incorporate additional functionality in future releases of these mobile devices and look forward to your feedback.
We've had several questions thus far about how this works. More information about the product, as well as a link to an FAQ can be found at:http://blogs.adobe.com/security/2011/10/just-released-adobe-reader-10- 1-for-ios-and-android.html

    Hello Jonathan,
is there an way to trigger iOS download to immediately open using "Adobe Reader"
instead of using the default Previewer (showing an plain empty white window) and then re-open it using "Open with" ?
Is there an MIME-Type to indicate IRM-protected PDF-files?
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Flash Player for budget Android phone

I haven't own any android phone yet. I am a super poor person and my budget only allow me to buy Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Android Phone. Any phones expensive than that phone are ALL NOT AFFORDABLE.
I need to use Flash Player as I frequently access flash based website. But, Adobe Flash Player for mobile require a phone with VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The phone I stated above does not meet the requirement.
As I said above, my budget only allow me to buy Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 and any other phones expensive than that are not affordable. So, tell me what can I do?
And, to Adobe, why don't you consider making a version for super low-end budget android phone like the one I stated above? Please consider doing something for users with very limited budget. I am sure there are a lot of demands there.
    Regards,

Hi, I understand what you have explained but Adobe Flash Player can only be available on those phones that are able to run Flash Player. Google owns the Operating System of the Android phones and they decide which phones will support Flash Player and then the Manufacturer produces the phones for Google.
The phone Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 (Android) is not on the list
Just like Microsoft came out with IE9, but I can't use it since it won't work on XP
You are smart in trying to find out before you buy a phone that can't use Flash Player:-)
Do you live in the United States? If not, the Country you live in may have different phones and requirements too.
This is a list of the Phones that you can look at, then go to the websites to read about other phones and their prices.

  • Adobe Reader Windows Phone Download Link

    Hey guys,
For iOS / Android users - browsing to get.adobe.com/reader/ redirects the user to the Application Store for the platoform so they can download Adobe Reader.  However, browsing this link fails when using a Windows Phone - it doesn't redirect the user to the windows phone store.
    Thanks,
    Jon
