Android slideshow/library banner issue

Hi,
I'm updating my DPS legacy Android app to a native one. I'd like to maintain the offline/online banner mechanism that the legacy app had, so that I could change the online banner whenever I wanted.
There's a way to do that in the Store Configurator, using the Slideshow Entitlement Banner option. But when I'm testing the dev app, after uploading the zip file, the banner does not appear.
When I add a custom library, its banner appears, but there's no option to add the offline/online banner mechanism. Is there another way to add it?

I'm currently in the process of updating an existing Enterprise DPS App. I'm using the online "DPS Configurator" to create an updated iOS7-style HTML implementation of the default library (v3). I also want to implement the DPS Configurator's Slideshow entitlement banner. Is there any documentation on replacing the static entitlement banner with slideshow entitlement banner for the custom HTML implementation? Or is it one or the other? If I can incorporate both, do I have to manually replace static with slideshow banner in code (via DreamWeaver) or will it replace when I go to App Builder. I should also mention that this isn't a true entitlement App, I'm just using Ivan Mironchuck's article... Adding HTML banners to non-entitlement apps | Adobe Developer Connection "fake out" technique to include an entitlement banner in the first place on existing v1 of our current app. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply Derek. My follow up question is how is TopGear Magazine achieving the iOS7 look on their library along with what looks like the slideshow Entitlement banner? Am I over-thinking things here? If I simply want the brighter iOS7 look for my library is Viewer v31 like this right out of the box then?

Slideshow Entitlement Banner

I have a universal binary for my DPS app and would like to use the Slideshow Entitlement Banner for my library. I'm having an issue with scaling for both devices since there is no way to upload separate assets per device.
Is my only solution to find a happy ratio of the banner that works on both iPhone and iPad?

Ok great we have come up with a workaround for the time being.
We are going to use the dpsapps to host our iPad banners and will host our iPhone banners from our current web hosting. However I have uploaded the files to our webserver but it produces no banner. I've inserted the Hello World text at the top and that shows, but no images appear. What am I doing wrong? Is there something i need to comment out in order for me to host the slideshow on my personal server?
we have done some troubleshooting and it seems that it gets stuck at parsing the data.json file. Do you have suggestions on the problem?

Slideshow Entitlement Banner Using the Store Configurator

I want to create a simple banner with two states. One that shows only when you are not logged in and a second that only shows when you are logged in. I used the DPS Configurator and selected Slideshow Entitlement Banner, added two slides, the first with "Hide if entitled to latest issue" checked, and the second with "Hide if not entitled to issue" checked. So far everything is working as expected.
But here is the problem. Our app is using restricted distribution to entitle Group A only to Group A folios and Group be to Group B folios. If I am logged in as Group B the banners display as expected, but if I log in as Group A they do not. The problem is that the latest issue is entitled to Group B, since it was published a minute after the Group a folio.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response but this will not work, because if a member of group a signs in they will still see the slide prompting them to sign in as well as the slide saying they are signed in.
Is there any other way to accomplish the same thing?
I wanted to see if I could edit the code so I tried to download the zip file and load the files on our server, but then nothing is being displayed in the banner area.

Go step by step and test.
1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
3. Deselect Proxies if selected.
    System Preference > Network > Advanced > Proxies Tab
    Under "Select Protocol", uncheck any box if selected.
    Click "OK" then "Apply”.

Android apk game close issue.

Hi I have made flash android game, here is issue is, client need a button to close this game, and other option is if user clicks on home botton on tab/Ipad then game must be pause,
right now if user minimise the app it's sound still playing and everything working as it is. How can I capture that user that user minimise the app.

Sorry but what is the definition of "inline" videos, I wanna be really sure (i'm not english / in my language my videos are "inline" videos: videos put inside the document).)
On some apps I made, some videos work, some don't. And
one of the main issues are
- they launch full screen when they're not supposed to (i want them to launch in a definite area)
- they dont launch full screen when they're supposed to (when they're suppposed to play in full screen, they just do not appear: black screen)

Even though no one replied, i fixed my problem.
Don't know if it will work for anyone else with similar problem
but all I did was a CHKDSK then a defragment of my laptop and now everything seems to be working fine.

Rebuild. What version of iPhoto are you running? If it is iPhoto 9 or later Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database, followed by Option #1 if needed.

LR 5 Slideshow Video Export Issue

I've created a slideshow where all of the photos display properly within Lightroom's slideshow module. But when I export the slideshow to video (this doesn't happen for the pdf export), a few of my photos are rendered on screen at very low resolution/fuzzy. This only happens to a few of the photos and these same photos look fine if viewed within the LR slideshow module. It's just after export that a few of the photos get rendered at low resolution; all other photos in the slideshow are fine. Reading some posts, i tried deleting the previews for all of the photos and then re-rendering them at 1:1 and then trying the export again, but i get the same outcome...although this time, different photos were rendered at low resolution. Is this some kind of bug or have i failed to set a setting properly?

I can duplicate the issue of some landscape images appearing very soft in the MP4 slideshow video on my Windows 7 LR5.3 system.
To rule out issues I started by selecting all of the image files to be used in the Library module. Then I selected toolbar Library> Previews> Discard 1:1 previews. Next I selected Library> Previews> Build 1:1 Previews and then created the slideshow video again. None of the images appeared soft in the 1080p video created from Canon 5D MKII video files. In fact the results actually appear better than LR4.
If this doesn't resolve your issue please provide image file types you are using (Camera model, raw, JPEG, resolution), Slideshow video preset you are using (1080p, 720p etc.), and your Catalog Settings> File Handling> Standard Preview Size (2048, 1680, etc.).

Slideshow & Ad Banner display

There are a ton of free resources available all over the web for Flash, but I could not find what I was looking for, so this is my contribution to those looking for Slideshow or Ad Banner display with the ability to manually scroll back and forth between images as well as let them auto-scroll.
Some features:
-Displays jpeg, gif and png.
-You can add and remove images simply by modifying an XML file (Flash Pro is not required).
-Has small Next and Previous buttons in the bottom right corner.
-Displays "image_number of total_images" in bottom right corner.
-Auto advances to next image after 3 seconds.
-You can specify a unique URL for each image in the XML file. Clicking on the image will open new browser window for that URL.
-Has a nice fading transition going from one image to the next.
I have included the .fla, the .swf and a sample .xml file in the attached file (slideshow.zip)
Hope this is helpful to somebody.

Okay, I have improved my program already...
New Added Features:
-You can now specify in the XML file, whether each pics URL link will open up in a new browser window (_blank) or in the current browser (_self).
-You can also specify in the XML file, how long each pic will display before it auto-switches to the next pic. You can set a different delay for each pic.

IPhoto library mapping issues on home network

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have my iPhoto 8 library stored on PowerMac G4 that acts as media server for the house. Each Mac automatically mounts the media drive when the appropriate user logs in and each copy of iPhoto has been 'mapped' to the iPhoto library located on the media server.
The problem - occasionally, and I can not figure what causes it - but when my wife logs in and opens iPhoto, she gets the good old "Please select the library or create a new one" window. Bless her heart, I've tried to explain how to 'remap' the library - but it's just....well, lets just say I have failed in my communications and explanations.
So - why does this library mapping 'unmap' and how can I force it to stay 'mapped'??? I've tried several Automator actions and even tried the Record function - no dice.
Any ideas would be much appreciated because she's on the verge of firing the home network administrator which equates to a reduced IT budget in the future.

Are all the Macs using the same library? Is this a wireless network or hard wired?
The library can get unmapped if iPhoto is launched with the server not mounted and accessible.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Aperture 3 not in Media Browser - Non-Default Library Location Issue

My Aperture Library cannot be viewed in the media browser. I created a new Aperture library in the default location which resolved the issue; however, I have my library on an external hard drive and it is too big to put on my internal HD.
Any suggestions on how to tell iLife & iWork to look in my external HD?

Ok...I went to the Genius Bar, but to no avail. (by the way, my issue about not being able to open programs while holding alt was due to my not depressing the alt key for the required length of time. So, false alarm on that one. Oops!)
I just updated to 3.0.1. I continued to have the same issues with accessing my files through the media browser. I called tech support; and through their instructions, I was able to gain access to my library through the media browser. This seemed to be by accident, so I don't know if it was due to the update, a particular logarithm of library selection, or a combination of the two.
What I remember being the last actions were to create an alternate library, >file, >>switch to library, >>>other, select the new library, (possibly restarting Aperture), then switching back to my main library through the same selection as previous (i think...possibly by a different method).
Regardless, my library is now accessible in the media browser in iLife & iWork programs.

DB-Library BCP issue with SQL Server 2014

My application uses DB-Library (ntwdblib.dll) to communicate with SQL Server 2014. We are having issues calling bcp related functions like bcp_init which always returns FAIL status. Our application was working fine with SQL Server 2012 and all other previous
SQL releases. But we are getting below error in SQL 2014,
msg 4801, state 1, severity 16 : Insert bulk is not supported over this access protocol.
Can anyone please help ?
