Animating layers backwards and under conditions

Hello guys, I am new to this forum and I don't know if that kind of issue was covered here, if yes, please guide me there.
I am working on my first ActionScript project, although I know some of functions, like using buttons, moving to different scenes and so on. But at my current task I faced new problem, and I don't really know how to start.
I am trying to create my CV, with more graphic apperiance. I already made whole look in Illustrator, I just need to get this interactive, and that means animated.
The only thing that have to happen is moving rectangles, so animation isn't to hard. I have problem with logical side of the script. I want user to be able to click on whatever of three avaible sections - education, experience, software. Clicking on one of these sections will cause it to expand, and clicking again - to fold back. The problem I have is I want user to use this freely, which means he can expand first section, then third, then maybe fold back first section. I can't really imagine this as going to different frames, as there are many posibilities...
I thought about trying to animate layers backwards (to fold them) and maybe under some conditions, but covering each possibility of which section is already folded or unfolded looks like weeks of work.
Does any of you can help me with that? Maybe there is some simple trick I don't know yet.

LEarn to animate using code and your issue should be easy to overcome. Start by looking into the AS3 Tween class, which you can use to move and fade and otherwise animate different properties of an object. When you get something working then you might want to look into thridf party tweening engines like TweenLite/Max This would allow you to easily keep track of where things are and which ones are currently in need of being animated out of view while animating the new selections into view.

Back when they had a preview of what could be in CS6 there was a video where they had 5 layers, one the back ground then the remain 4 were like match sticks, arrange to overlap each other to form a square or tic tac toe board. Where you can then create woven layers.

As far as I know, that is something that is under development and not part of PS yet. Only way to do that currently is with layer mask.

I have manipulated a photo using layers etc and then flattened it and saved it under a new name. When I use 'Preview' (mac) to view the finished photo it doesn't look right. It's as the layers have not flattened correctly. When viewed in Elements 12 it looks OK. The photo looks incorrect in other software such as photo books.
Looking at the same photo before flattening, what is being shown is only the top layer.
How do I correct this?

The top layer is indeed the one that is visible, unless there is/are area(s) of translucency on that layer, so that you can visualize a portion of the subjacent layer.

Are your settings targeted to have the printer manage colors, or, to have PSE manage colors?

After creating the mask and applying adjustment, you can also adjust and change layer mask using selection tools or, the most common way, using brush tools.
To have a more accurate preview of what are you doing, Alt + click on the layer mask thumbnail to show the mask in the image area.
At this point, you will have a layer mask on your screen in large view, so it is easy to fine tune it, but you wont see how that affects your image.
To seean instant preview how changes on layer mask affects the adjustments, use New Window for (name of your image) from Window > Arrange.

I need to send alternative content to ff 3.1 and under

Hi, I am running slidedeck (slidedeck.com, jquery plugin) which doesnt support ff 3.1 and under.
I can serve alternative content to IE6 with a conditional comment, but how can I sniff for the relevant gecko version and redirect to a different page? I understand we are talking about maybe 2.5% of users (which for us is still enough to warrant making sure the page doesnt break horribly for those users!)

Freight (value) always mandatory under conditions

Hi,
I want to maintain that freight (value) costs will be always mandatory for vendors with custom schema. I tried it to set in SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Conditions>Define price determination process> Define calculation schema and under control data for schema for example: Z001 I set that FRB1 Freight (Value) with field manual not checked, field required. You can see result enclosed. There is value zero, and cannot be replaced. This value can be replaced in conditions at item level. But I want to control this condition at document level. I can not find any solutions.

It's a standard behavior, you have to entered the condition type manually in header condition, only then you can able to see the amount for condition type as editable.
If the condition type is coming automatically from calculation schema, then you can't enter amount directly in header condition.
You have to enter it manually in header condition.
But as you have maintained this condition type as required in calculation schema, then you also have to maintained it at item level.
You can follow the steps.
1. Maintain the condition type as manual and required in calculation schema.
2. At the time of PO creation :
2A. Maintain the condition type at header level manually.
2B. Then maintain the same in item level manually.
2C. You can see two same condition types in item level. Then delete the Item level's condition type (which is editable (amount) in Item level).
Then check the same.

Creating reflection for core animation layers?

Is there any example in the wild for creating reflections on core animation layers, like Coverflow's for example?
I have a bunch of layers I need to display at different distances from the "surface" and without reflection they just seem skewed instead of floating in 3D..

The buttons are still there, but they don't do what they were made to do. (show layer / hide layer)
What I'm doing is a map, with icons for the hydrants. When you click on the icon of the hydrant, a photo of the hydrant and it's pipes show up on the top right of the map. This is the layer that turns on and off when clicked on the button.
Is there something I can do to keep the layers working?

Moving backwards and forwards in a song/audiobook

If I want to move backwards or forwards in an audiobook, the manual says I push on the center button - a scrubber bar will appear and then I move the wheel to go forward and backwards. This is how it worked in my old iPod. However, with my new 160gb iPod classic, another screen appears asking whether I want it to playback faster or slower. How do I get the scrubber bar to come up so I can move backwards and forwards. Thanks

Thanks for the question. If you have updated to Yosemite, then the Apple Logo with the status bar is the expected behavior for when the computer starts up. However, the powering off is not supposed to be happening ... so here are some steps to take if your MacBook Air won't turn on.

If I open a Finder window and then navigate through Folders, I am unable to move backwards (or forwards) within the directory structure using the three finger swipe gesture. This appears to be disabled in Finder, but it does work in e.g., Safari (for moving backwards and forwards to different webpages).
I have attempted rebooting, rebooting with PRAM reset.
To reproduce the problem, you have to make sure that "Swipe between Pages" is set to "Swipe with three fingers" or "Swipe with two or three fingers" is enabled in Trackpad preferences (under More Gestures).
Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know how to fix it or get a work-around for it?

IF and ABS condition statement in BEX query designer

I would like to ask the best way for me to produce an acceptable result from Excel IF and ABS Condition statement.
The condition statement that I have on my Excel file is
=IF((A2-B2)>0,ABS(A2-B2),0)
I'm trying multiple times to reproduce this in BEX Query designer, unfortunately I'm getting a bad result or unacceptable formula.

How to edit a Animated Gif file and convert to SWF

I am using the creative cloud with fireworks. I chose the free trial with buying in mind if I saw it work properly. I simply want to upload an animated GIF file and then download it as a SWF file. I saw someone on youtube do this and it's not that if I get on the correct page I would not know how to do that but I just cannot find how to get the GIF into the software to edit. It has just simply put them in the creative cloud folder which can open them on IE> How do i make it available to edit and convert to SWF please? Thanks in advance.
