Thanks. I've increased the width of the elements so they
don't shrink that
much.
Worst case scenario, the images should appear as a
"filmstrip" (at very
small text-size value) which I think is Okay.
We can't really on min-width here because we would lose the
text alignment;
because unfortunately, we can't add the margin value to the
image width (as
we do with width and margin elsewhere).
*But* if the images' width was set in "EM" rather than "PX"
then there is
plenty we could do.

The easiest way is to do this is to create a new "skin" for your dashboards or either modify the default. The location of the default folder is /res/s_oracle10/b_mozilla/views.css. The view.css file is where you can go and customize the classes. For example, if you want to customize the Pivot Table Row Header, search for .PTRH and then you can alter the existing formatting or add additional specifications.

As Francois pointed out Oracle forms has nothing to do with html based technology. The way you can get the equivalent effect of creating consistancy in the way your objects are displayed is by creating a set of items you want and alter their apperance and behaviour and place them into object libraries (one library should do the trick). From there you subclass all of you forms items off these libraries.

Problem: How to use multiple layers style?

Hello everyone!
Sorry if my English isn't fluent.
Some of photoshop styles have multiple styles icon in style tab that should to use together, I do below steps but it doesn't show effect style as psd file.(in psd file effect style is true but when I do below steps my effect style is not true).
Steps that I do:
1. I insert style from preset manager.
2. I apply first icon style to first layer.
3. Then I duplicate first layer.
4. Then I apply second icon style to duplicated layer.
I do this 4 steps but my effect is not true.

Thanks for getting back to me. My reply may sound lazy, but whoever made these styles should be able to better explain how to use it. It just seems one layer covers the other, and I don't want to guess at the settings.

I asked about CSS because my Manager want to control the Format of the text inside Flash using The CSS.
is there a way to format the TLF Markup, or what is the best suggestion instead of CSS?
I didn't try before to add any new capapilities to the architecture, if I want to start adding this what is the place to start from or any done example that demonstrate it.
I am using Flash CS4 not Flash Builder nor Flex.

Hi, there:
Best thing to do is to start with the default login.html page, and then modify it. The login screen is fairly complex and it's easy to just miss a JS function you need to call. To get to default page, you would need to do one deploy (to simulator or whatever), and then look for login.html page in the temporary Xcode or Android project generated from the deployment. It should be under the "deploy" directory in your JDev workspace.
You can also see all the framework JS files and CSS files that way as well.
We have had customers implementing custom login screen so we know it can work, but they all had to start with the default login screen and then modify it.

How to use an dynamic text from Flash in FlashBuilder with swf ?

i'm trying to develop a game in flex builder and i got a problem with the dymanic text i've imported from flash. I want to insert a scoreboard in my application and for doing that i should use dynamic text in flash. I create a dynamic text in flash and then a import it to Flash Builder in a movie clip, and i called the dynamic text "Score". Now i've tried to use the "Score" variable to change the value of the dynamic text box un my flash builder application, but it doesn't change anything.
I read somewhere that i've got to use the score.text value to change the number of my score but that doesn't works because Flash Builder tells me that this sort of variable don't contain the .text value.

I did not know creating a new keyframe,
creates a new instance.
Yes, I had used the same dynamic text field instance name in
numerous, new layers (great observation).
With the objective to display the User's name throughout
the timeline (on and off)...
I'll attempt to paraphrase your solution;
Use a single layer to display the dynamic text field.
Extend this layer's timeline throughout the movie, or end use of the dynamic text field.
Help with this one ??
Set the visible properties to true or false as need through out the timeline.
( Does require an AS3 ? )

Side of effect of using the above solution;
The SWF in it's attempted state, uses the dynamic text field instance, in
different places, different text sizes, on the stage, throughout the Movie.
(i.e. the User's first name appears in different sentences...)
Per the solution above,
I believe I will be limited to One location, one format setting.
Is this assumption correct?
I can make this work from a display / Movie point of view.
However, your first VAR concept, noted above, might be
worth exploring should more flexibility be required.

is style_shop.css in the correct path on the server?
If you are using a war file it should be in the root folder of the war.
or try to give

I'm not going into skin. However, I want to edit property of ADF component through CSS. How do we do this? Any url link that give complete documentation? (How to represent ADF Component in CSS)

Hi,
just a guess, but give it a try: customize the default Oracle skin as described in the blog post "Customizing BLAF for ADF Faces - easier than Skins for influencing colors and fonts by Lucas Jellema". You don't need to add custom skins, just edit the oracle-desktop.xss file.
Then you can add a "white-space: nowrap;" property for the appropriate style, which very likely will be AFTableCellDataText. It will be something like this:

I'm trying to create a plsql-dbms_output report with HTML that uses a stylesheet (CSS) and an image. These seem to be ignored by the report viewer.
The following example works fine in Internet Explorer 6 but the stylesheet is ignored by the viewer and the viewer does not show the images (shows broken images instead). I've tried with various image types (PNG, GIF and JPEG).

Is the HTML viewer limited to not support stylesheets and images?

It also seems that links don't work. The mouse cursor changes to a hand when hovering over links and the links are shown in blue and underlined but nothing happens when clicking on them.
