Anonymous user placing order

Is there any way to reinitialize the profileId after an anonymous profile places order. Basically, I need a different profile Id for every order in case of anonymous user.

As far as I know, there is no ATG OOTB feature to solve your issue. Adding a custom code at the end of the checkout might have big impacts like, you might not be able to display the last page of checkout (thank you page) with order details since the profile might be new at this stage.
One solution, you can try out is that if an anonymous user is adding an item to the basket, check if the profile id already has a submitted order, if so then reinitialize the profile with a new one, something like this.
Another one is in the servlet pipeline, add a component to check if current anonymous user is having an order with submitted/completed status, if so initialize a new profile, but in this case you might need to skip this check if the user is currently in the last page of checkout(thanks page).

  • Anonymous User forms in Sharepoint 2013 Online

I'm using Sharepoint 2013 online with Office 365.
Is there any way for an anonymous user to communicate with the site using forms (preferably Infopath)?
There are many, many versions of this question on the web. Several lead to
http://claytoncobb.wordpress.com/2011/06/03/infopath-allowing-anonymous-users-to-submit-forms-in-sharepoint-2010/, but this is about Sharepoint 2010, not 2013. Other answers talk about features that are not in Sharepoint online 2013, such as Application
Management in Central Administration. There is also a Sandbox solution from CodePlex that gets touted,
https://anonymous365.codeplex.com/, but this fails in Sharepoint Online 2013.
The only feature I can find is the Excel Survey in Form Templates. This is at least a start, but what I really want is the ability for an anonymous user (a customer) to submit information into a Custom List using a form; or, second best, in an email (WITHOUT
having to have Infopath Filler installed). Seems a pretty basic need, really - letting your customers place orders. This is all do-able for a fully-subscribed user of the intranet site, but I can't afford to buy individual subscriptions for all my customers.
Nor do I want them seeing each other's data, or accessing my intranet!
I have spent so long researching this and getting nowhere, and really need to know if it's just a straight 'no, it's impossible', or keep trying.
    Thanks
    Jonathan

Yes, I am using the public site. But unless I'm missing something, Custom Lists (and associated forms) cannot be exposed to anonymous users. They are just not in the permissions list.
I can create a page in the public site and add a Form Templates web part. The options I then get for creating a new form in the Form Templates library are Word Document, Excel Workbook, Powerpoint Presentation, One Note Notebook or Excel Survey. An
InfoPath form is not an option. None of these (as far as I can see) allow for any data entered in the 'form' by a user to be stored in a Custom List for further processing. Most require the user to have Word/Excel/whatever on their machine, rather than
just use the browser. The nearest you get is the Excel Survey, which at least regularises the data entered by an anonymous user into columns in a spreadsheet, but this is not sophisticated enough for, say, an online ordering system in which you would not want
    customers seeing each other's orders.

  • SSO (SPNego) Configured, but  Anonymous user´s page doesn´t work

    Hello,
I configured Single Sign-On between Portal and windows using SPNego (working OK) but when we try to connect to Portal using anonymous user I ca´n´t do it ( my pc user is automatically loged), Any idea to filter the anonymous user?
    Kind regards

    Hi,
What you need to do is create an alias of the server on the DNS.
    Example:
http://portal.client.com:50000 is the normal portal access with SPNEGO. You have set the SPN to this server (setspn) to use SPNEGO
On the DNS you need to create another alias to the same server but you don't map it to the SPN user.
    http://portalNOSPNEGO.cliente.com:50000
As it is not mapped to use kerberos... it won't use the SSO.
If you want to access anonymous user or with any other user on your domain you will access the new portal URL http://portalNOSPNEGO.client.com:50000
There is a problem accessing this with IE6.0.. it might appear a Windows popup authentication window. In order to get rid of this.. you have to change the Internet Explorer Security Level.
Option a) Include the portalNOSPNEGO site on the Trusted Sites. On the security level of the trusted sites select "Anonymous Logon". Include the portal.client.com site on the Intranet Sites... the security level of this sites should be "Authentication only on Intranet Sites"
    Option b)Upgrade to IE 7.0
For the external users that have nothing to do with your domain..
Option a)the security level for the Internet sites should be "Anonymous Logon".... or
Option b)Uncheck de Integrted Windows Authentication
    Option c)Upgrade to IE7.0

  • App for placing orders?????

I work at a church that records video and audio of each service and provides DVD/CD's to be available for pickup at a later date (once edited). Our current process for placing orders is a small booth with a stack of carbon-copy forms and we would just like to make it a little easier and more streamline for the church member.  Is there an app out there for the iPad that will allow me to create a form for a person to fill out and submit (to be emailed to me) so we could replace our carbon-copy forms?
Also, if there was a credit card payment option where they could swipe and pay (i currently use Square for photography gigs in my personal business) that would be amazing (but not necessary).
One final request... if this app exists, is there a way to lock the user into that app so they can't just start playing with the iPad?  We were thinking of building a nice looking case (podium of sorts) that sits in front of a larger LCD monitor utilizing the HDMI adapter mirror display for the iPad 2 but would also allow us to lock the iPad down and also maybe even hide the fact that they are even using an iPad... very ambitious i know and understand that I might need to hire a programmer...
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

AWESOME! thanks so much!  the LocPad is EXACTLY what we need... the kiosk is almost there but not quite... check out this link to see more or less what we have and want in APP form... http://etcolumbus.org/#/media/media-orders
I guess we could actually just use LocPad to keep them on this page of the website huh?  it would definitely keep things simple...

  • Anonymous User & UI Commands for Roles

    Hi,
in our portal we have an anonymous User.
For this user we created a special layout set without ui commands like 'give feedback' etc.
    Now we have following problem:
In the default details dialog are display amongst others the details area 'overview_feedback' and 'overview_review'.
About this areas is the anonymous user able to give feedback and write review.
    My questions:
Why appears 'give_feedback' on the details area 'overview_feedback', although the anonymous has no rights for the ui command? The ui command is restricted for a special role, which is only assigned to authenticated users.
Is it possible to display different details dialogs depending on roles groups or users?
Is is possible to make the visibility form details areas depending on role (like the same way for ui commands)?
    Best regards,
    Arnold Gallemann

    Hi Arnold,
You should read: Advanced concepts in Metadata properties in KM, it can be downloaded from here.
       It's very good material.
All information that appear in Details screen can be modified or changed.
You can use resource type in order to determinate which kind screen you want to show.
In details command you can use as parameters resource type in this way you will have differents screen.
       Again, read this material.
    Patricio.

  • Anonymous user emails in CSC

Does anybody ever sent guest emails through CSC? Looks like OOTB implementation needs to have a authenticated user for sending emails. I tried sending emails to anonymous user , but server is redirecting the request to other page thant he template URL specified. I am getting 302 (Temporarily moved), since my template URL is specified under the DCS-CSR context, which needs an authenticated profile to access the resources under that. Does anyone know in which servelt in the daf pipeline the context path is configured. The component which has the context in CSC is CSRConfigurator, but just wondering in which servlet it is been implemented. Any help or pointers would be appreciated

  • Anonymous User Access to Web Dynpro ABAP Application

    Dear All,
I'm not able to set anonymous user access to a WDA application. The requirement is : I have to Call the application if the user clicks a link on the portal (even before logging).
Please note that I have gone thru note No. 1020795 and 1031159 and have complied and followed all the given steps there.
Also, I have given anonymous acces to iveiw that i had created.
Request the gurus around to help, if they have cracked a similiar situation.
PS : Points are up for grab for any positive helps provided.
    Thankx a Ton in advance.
    Regds,
    Srini

    Hi, Srini,
A WDA application runs on the WAS. It needs to login to the ABAP core in order o execute. In your case, what you can do is supply a user/passord directly on the service (tcode SICF).
    Hope this helps!

  • Problems display KM documents as an anonymous user

    Greetings experts.
At this time I am speaking to you with the following problem. I'm building an intranet with SAP Enterprise Portals and I'm setting up a role that will be assigned to the anonymous user "Guest." I built a KM Navigation iView and placed the path where they were staying the documents required are available. When I try to open some of them, displays a popup window that says: "Server sapportalsqa in Authentication requires a user name and password."
I checked the permisology of documents hosted on this route and is well. I wonder how I can do for anonymous users to view these documents. Is there any special configuration to do?
    Greetings

  • How the profile id has been created for anonymous user

    hi all,
when i print the ShoppingCurrent.current the below line is displaying
    Order[type:default; id:o1030002; state:INCOMPLETE; transient:true; profileId:1310002; ]
in that how the profile id has been created.
    thanks in advance
    shya

User profile is created when a request is processed by the ProfileRequestServlet in the ATG servlet pipeline and is made available as session scoped Profile object for each user. Profile object has a dataSource property which points to the underlying RepositoryItem. For anonymous user, the underlying RepositoryItem created through ProfileRequestServlet remains transient by default. Therefore you won't find the item in the repository or database with that transient repository item's id. You can change this default behavior if you want by changing the persistentAnonymousProfiles property of the ProfileRequestServlet component to true which will create a new profile in the database for each anonymous visitor.

  • How do I allow anonymous users to submit an infopath form without using code

I have enabled anonymous users on my sharepoint site and given it as many permissions as I can. I'm able to browse to the site, but I get an error when I hit submit unless I'm logged in as a domain user. I'm also prompted for a login if I click upload
on the site. I'm not really a programmer, I've tried some programming things I found on the web but I haven't been able to make it work.

    Hi,
Based my research, OOB SharePoint don’t allow anonymous users to contribute contents(Edit, Upload and Add) into list and library.
This is by design behavior, and it’s a consideration about security in order to help protect your site from potential script injection attacks.
For anonymous users, only the View Item permission is available for libraries.
If you want to know more about this, please refer to
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-sharepoint-services-help/enable-anonymous-access-HA010113018.aspx
    Hope this helps

  • Subversion server anonymous user permissions

    Hi,
I've been trying to set up subversion as a server and host two repositories, but I'm having trouble allowing read-only access to anonymous users. Currently it will always ask for a valid user. I had this working some time in the past, but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong this time.
I wanted one repository (called "public") to be readable by any user, and all repositories require a valid user for write access.
I followed this guide: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Subversion_Setup  almost word-for-word, taking the Apache+SSL route.
My repositories are in /home/svn/repositories, and my /home/svn/.svn-policy-file has the following:
    patmanpato = rw
    [public:/]
    * = r
And I've tried a few combinations on the ordering etc. of the above lines.
What I've added to my /etc/httpd/conf/extra/httpd-ssl-conf file is:
    # other stuff before this ...
    <Location /svn>
    DAV svn
    SVNParentPath /home/svn/repositories
    AuthzSVNAccessFile /home/svn/.svn-policy-file
    AuthName "SVN Repositories"
    AuthType Basic
    AuthUserFile /home/svn/.svn-auth-file
    Satisfy Any
    Require valid-user
    </Location>
    </VirtualHost>
    #end of file
I'm not sure where else to look for my mistake, especially since it correctly accepts the credentials for patmanpato at least.
Any advice on where I could look next would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks for the reply,
It is the same question, but as it is not answered fully it doesn't really help me.
I will keep an eye on that discussion as well so thanks anyway.
What I really need is for all my users to be able to access any file created by any other user without having to constantly propagate permissions.
    Thanks
    Brad

  • I am having an issue regarding a placed order via customer service department

I recently relocated to Anchorage Alaska as part of a permanent change of station per the United States Air Force. I was initially located on the East Coast in the lower 48 and at the time of activating my contract I had purchased two separate Iphone 4 devices. I also recently went in to a store in February to purchase a Nexus 7 as well.
Upon arrival in Anchorage I had multiple issues regarding the Iphone 4 devices including being unable to send and receive text messages & imessages, unable to make phone calls, dropped phone calls, unable to utilize GPS, as well as not being able to access general account information and use anything related to web browsing or data usage. It was determined that because the Iphone 4 operates on the 3g network and Verizon does not have a 3g network in Alaska, as a result I was utilizing an extended service network from another carrier. As a result of this I am only able to use my Iphone 4 devices while connected to my wi-fi network while within my home, which is totally unacceptable.
I was not made aware that I would be dealing with this when I moved to Alaska and inquired as the the use of the devices I currently owned prior to purchasing the tablet. I was assured by three separate store employees one of which being a manager that all devices would function at 100% efficiency including the Iphone 4s. In fact I was recently billed 350$ for roaming charges last month, which prompted me to speak with a representative via the online chat regarding the significant increase she said that she was unable to process any sort of credit to the account regardless of what I had been told at a local Verizon store where I purchased the tablet.
As a result of all of these mishaps since arriving here in Alaska I determined I was in need of newer devices that utilize the 4G LTE network currently provided by Verizon in Alaska. I know for a fact that the 4G LTE works great up here because my Nexus 7 tablet runs flawlessly and does not incur roaming charges when utilizing the 4G LTE network.
Yesterday I attempted to contact Verizon through the live chat feature regarding upgrading two of the devices on my account. The live chat representative immediately asked me when my upgrade date was. Upon telling her my upgrade date 9/29/2014 she told me I should contact the customer service department as I might be eligible for an early upgrade. I then proceeded to contact the customer service department using my Iphone 4.
My attempt to speak to anyone in the customer service department resulted in a merry-go-round of being put on hold 6 separate times by two different employees, both of which had me wait for more than an hour while they attempted to speak to a manager to gain approval for an early upgrade. The first rep seemed almost sure she would be able to have my devices upgraded early especially considering the issues I was having regarding service.
The second rep seemed newer and was very dodgy about my questions and was very unwilling to help at first. He even mentioned that I had been a Verizon customer for almost two years, had never missed a single payment and had outstanding account history which should have garnered some sort of importance to the level of my request. But I digress, during this time I was disconnected from the call twice from each separate representative.
Both reps assured me they would call me back, I never did get a call back from either one of those reps and I was becoming very frustrated having waited four hours trying to find some sort of solution to my current predicament.
After waiting an hour for the second representative to call back I grew impatient and contacted the customer service department, was put on hold again, and finally reached a third customer service representative who was able to provide a solution for me.
I explained everything I had been dealing with to Cory ID #  V0PAC61, both regarding the phones, the issue of the level of service I was receiving, the dire need for working devices and the multiple times I had been disconnected. I explained to him as a result of these issues I was certainly considering switching to a different provider, a local provider even who could provide me the adequate service that I require for my mobile devices.
I explained to Cory that I had been with Verizon for almost two years, and I had been on a relatives account prior to owning my own Verizon account and had never received this kind of treatment when trying to work towards a simple solution. Cory proceeded to tell me he needed to put me on hold to see if there was anything that could be done regarding the upgrades of the device considering all of the trouble I had been dealing with.
After Cory reconnected with me in the phone call he was able to successfully reach a solution by allowing me to upgrade my devices. We conversed about the options available and I eventually decided to upgrade both Iphone 4 devices to Moto X devices as we determined those would be sufficient for my needs while in Alaska. I also proceeded to add two Otter Box Defender cases to the order so that the devices would have sufficient protection. Cory inquired as to whether or not I would like to purchase insurance for the phones as well and I opted for the $5.00 monthly insurance which including damage and water protection.
Cory explained to me the grand total for the devices which included an activation fee of $35.00 for each device, $49.99 for each Otter Box case, and an additional $50.00 for each device which would be refunded as a rebate upon receipt of the devices and activation, a rebate that I would be required to submit. Cory explained to me that the devices would most likely arrive Tuesday of 6/17 and no later than Wednesday 6/18.
Cory took my shipping information and told me everything was all set and the only thing left to do was to transfer me to the automated service so that I could accept the 2 year agreement for both devices. I thanked him very much, took his name and ID# so that I might leave positive feedback about his exemplary customer service and was then transferred to the automated service.
Once transferred to the automated service I was then prompted to enter both telephone numbers for the devices that would be upgraded, I was then required to accept the new 2 year agreement for both devices and after doing so I was required to end the call. I did so in an orderly fashion and expected a confirmation # to arrive in my email regarding the placed order.
I have never received a confirmation email. I decided to sleep on it and assumed a confirmation email would be sent sometime tomorrow. Nothing has since been received however. I woke up early this morning around 6AM Alaska time to speak to another live chat representative, Bryan, in the billing department who assured me the order was currently processing and verified the order #. I asked him whether or not it was typical for a customer to not receive a confirmation email for an order placed and he said it can sometimes take up to 2-3 business days. He then stated that he had taken note of the issues I was experiencing and told me he would transfer me to the sales department as they would be able to provide more information regarding the shipment of both devices and a confirmation email, as he stated he did not want me to have to wait any longer than necessary to receive said devices.
I was then transferred to Devon in the sales department via the live chat service where I was then required to repeat everything I had said to both Bryan and the other representatives I had spoken too. After a lengthy discussion and repeating everything I have just wrote he told me the order was indeed processing and that he would send a confirmation email in the next 30 minutes.
That was 2 hours ago. It is now 8am Alaska time and I still have not received a confirmation email regarding my order. I was sent an email by Verizon an hour ago stating I had a device to "discover". The email contained no information regarding the shipment of my device, the order confirmation number, or anything regarding my account. The email I received was a typical spam email asking an individual to check out the current available phones and sign up for a new contract.
All I want is a confirmation email to assure that the devices are being sent. I need my phone for work and to communicate with my family in the lower 48. I desperately need to make sure that the device is in fact being sent to the proper address, this is why a confirmation email of the order is so important. I do not care about the shipping speed I just want what I ask to be taken care of for a change. I would hate to sit here unable to determine what the status of my devices are only for the order to be stuck in "processing" limbo and be unable to receive the devices when I was told they would be sent.
I feel I have been given the run around treatment way more than is typically given with any company when an individual is trying to work towards a solution. I have been patient and cordial with everyone I have spoken with, I have not raised my voice or shown stress or anger towards the situation I have only tried my best to work towards a solution with anyone I have spoken too but I am becoming increasingly frustrated with this situation.
Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. This situation has left a sour taste in my mouth and if the devices were indeed not actually processed in an order, or they were not shipped correctly, or in fact if the order had never existed at all it will only deter me from keeping my Verizon account active and affect my decision to switch to another provider.

Hello APVzW, we absolutely want the best path to resolution. My apologies for multiple attempts of replacing the device. We'd like to verify the order information and see if we can locate the tracking number. Please send a direct message with the order number so we can dive deeper. Here's steps to send a direct message: http://vz.to/1b8XnPy We look forward to hearing from you soon.

  • Grant read permission on List for Anonymous user for public facing site in Sharepoint 2013 Online

I have a public facing SP site ( SP online 2013 with Office 365 ). There are certain app parts added to it which read data from a
custom list created on that site. By default anonymous users do not have read permissions list. I want users to see the list data without login in . I tried modifying the settings for anonymous users , however I am unable to do it as the "anonymous user"
permissions cannot be checked by me.
How do I provide read permissions to anonymous users?
    Thanks in advance

once you make the web site online anonymous users get the read access to list.
You can add the list view webpart and show the details to anonymous users. In the below link i have added the announcement list view webpart to a page.

  • Access to WPC Web Pages by Anonymous Users?

    Hello,
i want to give anonymous users access to Web Pages that were created with the Web Page Composer.
    In did the following:
    1. create the Web Pages,Site Navigation etc....
    2. edited the permissions of the site: grant anonymous users Read Access.
3.included the site navigation into the navigation of the anoymous users
When i access the portal as anonymous users and try to open a Web Page, i get a logon screen for Authentification.
I think that there is a problem, that i didn't find any way to set the Authentification Scheme for these Web Pages to "Anonymous". This is the way it has to be done with other iViews.
When i am accessing the page with an authenticated users, i have no problem with displaying the same Web Pages.
Is there anywhere an attribute i need to set? Or is it currently not supported?

    1. Configuration in PCD - go to Content Administration -> Portal Content-> Portal Content -> Web Page Composer -> Container iViews -> WPC
Default Containers. All of the iViews in this location should have the
"anonymous" authentication scheme. The next location which should be
checked is Content Administration -> Portal Content -> Portal Content ->Web Page Composer -> iView Templates. Again all of the iViews should
have the "anonymous" authentication scheme. The same applies to all the
templates which reside in Content Administration -> Portal Content ->
Portal Content -> Web Page Composer -> Page Layout Templates. Finally
check if all the pages which reside in Content Administration -> Portal
Content -> Portal Content -> Web Page Composer -> Page Layouts have the
    "anonymous" authentication scheme.
    2. Configuration in KM - make sure that all the pages, which should be
displayed to an anonymous user have in their permissions the Anonymous
    Users Group.
    3. Security zones - if you go to System Administration -> Permissions ->Security Zones -> com.sap.nw.wpc -> wpc -> no_safety and you open the
permissions of this object, the Anonymous Users group must be added in
    the list.
If all mentioned objects have their setting as described and you still
experience problems (e.g. you see a browser dialog window for
authentication), the reason most probably is, that the KM is not
configured for anonymous access. A full description of the needed steps
    is provided with note 837898.
