Another "no ComponentUI class for" dummy

Hello,
I'd like to change the look of the scrollbars of my application, which appear in JScrollPanes. Simply to start things I wrote a class
import javax.swing.plaf.basic.BasicScrollBarUI;
public class MyScrollBarUI extends BasicScrollBarUI {
and included the call
UIManager.put("ScrollBarUI", new MyScrollBarUI());
in the application. Now what I get when the JScrollPanes are set up is the following error message:

What do I have to add to avoid this exception?

I believe what you need there is the name of the class,
not an actual instance, e.g.
UIManager.put( "ScrollBarUI", "my.package.MyScrollBarUI" );: jay
