Ant tasks to migrate BPM organisation 5.7.3 to BPM10g

We are migrating from BPM 5.7.3 to BPM 10g.
We are referring to this article to do this task. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bpm/migrationinstructionsfromalbpm5-133430.pdf
In preconditions it is mentioned -
It is necessary to replicate the same exact Organization from ALBPM 5.7 to
OBPM 10gR3. This can be accomplished in different ways using the Organization
Export/Import, Ant Tasks and/or even a custom Organization replication mechanism
Does anyone have samples on how to accomplish this?
Thanks
Mini

Hi,
Look at
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/anttasks/index.html
and you have a task called directory that is to export and import the organization.

  • Oracle BPM Ant tasks with Oracle BPM Studio cant find jar

    Hello,
    There is this documentation
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/anttasks/index.html
    which states how to run Ant tasks to do different tasks on Oracle BPM. In EVERY example in the doc and the INTERNET there is this line in build.xml
    <project name="OracleBPMExample" xmlns:fuego="antlib:fuego.tools.ant.enterprise">
    Now, could anyone PLEASE tell me where to find fuego.tools.ant.enterprise. Ive searched every jar in my installation, and couldnt find such package. From what Ive found out it should be something like fuego-antlib.jar but while it is well known and well discussed it is NOT AVALIABLE ANYWHERE.
    please, help. Im using Oracle BPM 10.3.2
    regards,
    Pawel

    You are right Mike... The ant tasks help you do process admin stuff... so that in the Enterprise environment, you can script it all, and not require manual deployments and such.
    Just download 10g Enterprise.... the library will be in there...

  • Compile project from Ant Task

    Hi,
    I saw that there are some Ant Tasks with the BPM, but couldn't find any task that is able to just compile and generate the .exp file of the proyect.
    We wanted to implement a continuous integration server that compile all the projects that we have (so we need to do this from the command line).
    Anyone know any way to do this?
    Thanks !
    Carlos

    Questions:
    So you have an external tool builder that is triggered by a build?
    Which build of Eclipse?
    What is the Ant perspective?
    Are you running the Ant build in the same VM as Eclipse? Which VM?
    What VM is being used from the commandline?

    I am trying to deploy the bpm project using ant task file. The status I get is [deployComposite] ---->Deploying composite success. However when I check the deployments, they are not there. If I try to deploy this using Jdeveloper it works correctly. I need to get this to work for production deployments. Any suggestions?

    You can always deploy the ADF web apps from the Application (top menu) deploy option. Just make sure you're deploying the EAR profile for the project. Deploying the web projects from the composite deployment wizard can be convenient. But I think it's often the case that you deploy them (the composite and forms) separately (e.g. you make a series of changes to the composite without needed to redeploy the UI projects).
    Bottom line is you don't have to delete the projects to be able to modify/deploy them.

  • Meta migration ant task throw exception

    Hi,
    I am trying the migration from kodo 2 to 3.
    I successfully migrated the properties file using the integrated ant
    task; but run into some problem with the meta data migration (the *.jdo
    files). following is the ant task I am using:
    <target name="migrate-meta" depends="init, prepare-jdo-meta, compile" >
    <!-- define the kodo2migrator task; this can be done at the top
    of -->

    To make sure this IS the one it is using, not only I echo out the
    "${jdo.properties}" value, but also I tried to comment out the
    licenseKey line, then it threw "license key invalid" exception. so I am
    sure this is the properties file I am using in that ant task.
    Also I tried using the command line on one of our classes, it does not
    run into this problem.
    Any clue what I am missing?
    Thanks a lot,
    Tao

    The 3.0.0 migrator task has a couple of bugs. These will be ironed out
    in 3.0.1, which is due for release any day now. But if you must work
    around the bugs immediately, you'll have to:
    1. Run the task using your old properties file. Actually this will be a
    requirement even in 3.0.1; that's why in the migration chapter of the
    docs we say to migrate your metadata before your properties. The
    migration tool needs to access 2.5 properties to map your classes properly.
    2. Add the the following property to your old properties file:
    kodo.LicenseKey: <your license key>
    3. Name the properties file "kodo.properties" and place it in one of the
    directories listed in the ant task's CLASSPATH. If that doesn't work,
    place it in a directory in your system CLASSPATH. The 3.0.0 task has
    some classpath problems, and also the <config> task element doesn't work.
    Or, you could just set your system CLASSPATH and run the kodo2migrator
    tool from the command line.
    I hope this helps. As I said, 3.0.1 resolves these ant problems, and
    will be released very shortly.

  • Ant task to include Halo theme

    Hi,
    I recently migrated from Flex 3.4 to Flex 4. Everything works fine when I compile the application using Flash Builder 4. But I am having issues making our automated ant builds pick up the Halo theme over the Spark theme.
    In FB4, I just used the "Flex Theme" options under Project -> Properties to define the Halo theme as the default theme.Before that I used the -theme compiler argument. Both work fine.
    For our ant task, I tried adding:
      <compiler.theme dir="${FLEX_HOME}/frameworks" append="false">
                 <include name="/themes/Halo/halo.swc" />
      </compiler.theme>
    Unfortunately that does not seem to work and the result still shows the Spark theme. I also tried making "theme" a task attribute and the other options according to Flex 4 docs ( http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flex/using/WS2db454920e96a9e51e63e3d11c0bf69084-7a63.html ), but to no avail.
    I have very limited experience with ant and would appreciate some input.
    Thanks!

    I just ran into this same issue yesterday, Here's what worked for me, placed between the <mxmlc>   </mxmlc> tags
    <theme dir="${FLEX_HOME}/frameworks/themes/Halo">
           <include name="halo.swc" />
    </theme>

    Hi,
    Could you please let me know , the werbservice related ant tasks from weblogic 8.1 (say servicegen)

    I am in a process of migrating application from 8.1 to 10.3. For building the application I am using 'ant'.

    Apparently the ant tasks are no longer described on the oracle doc pages as they were on the bea pages.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/programming/overview.html#using_ant
    "To view the documentation for a specific version of Ant, such as the version included with WebLogic Server, download the Ant zip file from http://archive.apache.org/dist/ant/binaries/ and extract the documentation."

  • How to get current task ID in BPM

    Hi guys,
    I have a requirement where I need to get the current active UWL task id in BPM context. I  have seen the following code to create a direct execution url for a BPM task.
    // begin session
          IUWLSession uwlSession;
          uwlSession = uwlService.beginSession(uwlContext, sessionIdleTimeout);
          uwlContext.setSession(uwlSession);
          IUWLItemManager itemManager = uwlService.getItemManager(uwlContext);
          QueryResult result = itemManager.getItems(uwlContext, null, null);
          ItemCollection items = result.getItems();
          Item item = null;
          for (int i = 0; i < items.size(); i++) {
            item = items.get(i);
            Map params = new HashMap();
            params.put("taskId", item.getExternalId());
            String executionURL = WDURLGenerator.getApplicationURL("sap.com/tc~bpem~wdui~taskinstance", "ATaskExecution", params);
    This works fine, but this is looping through all the tasks assigned to a user.  How do I get the current task ID. I want to use the code inside webdynpro application which is caled as a human activity in BPM. When this WebDynpro application is called I would like to know the current task ID.
    As an FYI , UWL configuration passes the current task ID as a Dynamic parameter to "sap.com/tcbpemwdui~taskinstance"
    application.
    Please help if someone can identify how to get this value in my custom WD.
    Thanks,
    Yomesh.

    Yes. there is no API to get the current task.
    Try this:
    WDProtocolAdapter.getProtocolAdapter().getRequestObject().getParameter("wi_id");
    But i still say a bit confused with your requirement.
    The task id gets created only upon creation of a task. And you want this current task id in the BPM Process context? How is it possible unless and until some action takes place and the data is passed from WDJ to BPM Context?
    Please clear my doubt.

  • Is there an ant task on FlexUnit to open browser with swf embedded?

    Here is the same (unanswered) question asked by someone else: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/740495?tstart=0#740495
    Basically I need to open my flex app in a browser window from ant, and the FlexUnit task apparently does not support this.
    I have downloaded a sample from FlexMonkey. When they (sample writers) execute flexunit in this sample, one of the arguments to FU is "url". However, I can find no evidence of this version of FU (that uses that "url" argument) existing anywhere. Using the swf argument doesn't work as documented in the previous question above. So I don't know if my problem is Flex version, or it's just not supported by FlexUnit.
    I'm using the Flex sdk 3.2.0 and the FU libraries below:
    flexunit-4.1.0-33-as3_3.5.0.12683.swc
    flexunit-4.1.0-33-flex_3.5.0.12683.swc
    flexunit-cilistener-4.1.0-33-3.5.0.12683.swc
    flexunit-uilistener-4.1.0-33-3.5.0.12683.swc
    flexUnitTasks-4.1.0-33.jar
    Please tell me if this issue has been solved and if so what libraries I need to implement it. If it is done for Flex 4.x, but not for Flex 3.2, perhaps you could guide me to the java source for the ant task for Flex 4.x so that I can implement this for Flex 3.2 or Flex 3.x.
    thanks,
    Phil

    @Linden - Have not heard of this side effect from anyone as of yet, but good to know.  Sounds like the file lock is coming from the Flash Player and causing the spawning process (rundll32.exe) to hang around as well.  The FlexUnit team runs on Hudson using the FlexUnit Ant task, but we don't seem to encounter the same issue.  What's the longest interval you've tried to use with the sleep task?  Does the FP ever release its handle to the test SWF on your development machines?
    Not sure this is a problem with the FlexUnit Ant task, but in 4.2 we could try to explicitly kill the rundll32 process since we'll have the PID when the task launches it.  Head on over to JIRA and file a feature request for us and I'll see what I can do in the new year.  In the short term though, maybe try upgrading your version of the stand alone debug flash player to see if that helps.  Has anyone else seen this issue?  Could you possible just move the clean target to be called before the xci-test target is run?  Just some suggestions.

  • Does new type of unit testing in Flash Builder4 support ANT task ?

    Hi,
    I am using the new way of creating unit tests following this page http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashbuilder/using/WS27ECA937-059A-4308-A2E2-F3A3AAB64337.html #WSF04FE993-D0BA-4a2b-BDF1-8B8ABF22E448, which is really easier and more efficient than old ways.
    But I then found that the old ANT task "flexunit" for running unit test not working any more.  So if I want to get the results of unit testing from a CI server, how could I do now?
    Thanks a lot
    Michael

    @Michael Lin89 - You can find information on using FlexUnit4 via Ant @ http://docs.flexunit.org/index.php?title=Ant_Task.  There has been a lot of information collected on the wiki as well related to the CI process.  You can see that info @ http://docs.flexunit.org/index.php?title=Continuous_Integration_Support.  There are also an assortment of community projects built to work with FlexUnit which you can check out on the community page @ http://docs.flexunit.org/index.php?title=Community_Projects. There is also a sample project for working with CI, Ant, Maven, and a few other technologies @ http://docs.flexunit.org/index.php?title=CI_Sample_Project_Information.
    Hope this helps to fill in the gaps as to what support we offer in terms of Ant and CI.

  • Built-in wlst ant task does not work in weblogic 10.3.1

    Hi,
    We have an installer script that deploys an ear file to a weblogic managed server. The script also invokes the build-tin wlst ant task to bounce the managed server. However, in version 10.3.1 the wlst task seems to be broken. I get this error:
    [echo] [wlst] sys-package-mgr: can't create package cache dir, '/u00/webadmin/product/10.3.1/WLS/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/weblogic.jar/./java

    [echo] [wlst] at org.apache.tools.ant.UnknownElement.execute(UnknownElement.java:288)
    Obviously that is not a valid directory...so I am wondering what it is trying to do, and why. The wlst task worked perfectly in 10.3.0. No changes were made when attempting to run the script against 10.3.0 and 10.3.1, which tells me that something is different with the 10.3.1 setup. Here is the ant code I am running:

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Well, it looks like passing something like "-Djava.io.tmpdir=/var/tmp/javatmp/`date +%Y%m%d`" to ant did the trick. I had to make sure that directory existed first, otherwise it threw a java ioexception.
    I still don't understand what changes between 10.3.0 and 10.3.1 to necessitate this change.

    Hi everybody,
    Thank you very much for your replies....actually I added weblogic.jar to the classpath of the target. So, now I dont see that error. But, I have another problem which is as follows:

    I am not knowing what to give in the value field of <set attribute="Targets" value=""/>. The following is my build.properties file:
    target.server=myserver
    host=127.0.0.1
    port=7001
    username=weblogic
    password=weblogic
    domain.name=testDomain
    If I give <set attribute="Targets" value="${myserver}"/>, I get the following error:
    BUILD FAILED
    C:\ganymede\eclipse\workspace1\TestSvr\build.xml:290: Property not set: ${myserver}
    When I set myserver=myserver in build.properties, I get the following error:
