Any Alternate to use ORACLE GRAPHIC BUILDER through Reports

Hello ,
After long research some option of creating complex graphs does not serve my problem like BI GRAPHS . I want to create graph in such a way that for example I have one view in which trainno, station no, scheduled time and departure time are stored. I want to display a line graph for same train schedul and depart wise. Now I try to create line graph in oracle 10g, there only one single line is displayed for two groups scheduled time and departure time and that also not sorting properly.
In previous of oracle , Graphic builder had good option of creating field templates like line and attaching to line chart. So it there are two groups (Sched and departure time) , than line with different colour use to display separately for both. Now I don't find any way in oracle 10g to plot such type of Graph.
If anybody has option or way than please give suggestion.

I am not an expert on chart builder, so I don't know how you would access the model and get at the image files.
However, if you have a URL that points to an image generated by the chart builder, you can use the <image> element to display it.
It sounds like to produce these image files, you need to write some application logic. The correct place to put this application logic is probably in a subclass of a struts DataAction.

Is there any known problem using Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04 with Java 1.7?

I'm new to Oracle. I have installed Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04 and Java 1.7. When I run Oracle SQL Developer, I will get the window Running this product is supported with minimum Java version of 1.6.0_04 and a maximum version less than 1.7. This product will not be supported....
Is there any known problem using Oracle SQL Developer 3.0.04 with Java 1.7?
I have already downloaded Java 1.6 but don't know whether I need to uninstall Java 1.7 first. If don't need to uninstall Java 1.7, how can I set Oracle SQL Developer to run with Java 1.6?

There is no need to uninstall any Java version (except if you have disk space constraints) and no problem switching between Java versions. This may be controlled in the sqldeveloper.conf file in your ...\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper\bin directory via the SetJavaHome line. For example:

SetJavaHome C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.6.0_26

Do you have a requirement to use MS-Outlook from the Client or simple send email to a list of recipients? If the requirement is simply to send email to a list of recipients, I suggest you use UTL_SMTP from the database to send your email rather than OLE to Outlook on the Users computer. Search OTN or the forums for 'MAILDEMO' and you will find many examples on how to send email from the database.

How to use oracle functions in Crystal Reports XI using Oracle Server

Hi all,
Is it possible to use oracle functions in Crystal Reports XI using Oracle Server as Data Source.
If i try to use a procedure,i am getting error with message "Invalid Arguement Provided".
Functions are not visible objects like tables,views and stored procedures.
The jdbs driver i m using is oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver.

I think it is not possible to add functions in crystal directly for any database. You need to use those functions in a stored procedure and add that storedprocedure as a datasource.

Oracle Graphics Builder in Oracle Developer Suite 10g

Dear All,
I would like to immigrate from Oracle Developer 6.0 to Oracle Developer Suite 10g for our company application. I had a design tool called as Graphics Builder in Developer 6.0 but What I see in Oracle Developer Suite 10g that this tool doesn't exist any more. I still need to use all Graphics of the company application.
Is Graphics Builder out of the Developer package of Oracle any more ? If yes, then how can I make the design of Graphics in Developer Suite ? Is it a seperate tool any more I should have next to Developer Suite 10g ?
I would be glad if experinced colleaques guide me on this ?

In order to include graphical charts in your 10g Form you will need to use the BI Graph Bean that is included in the <a href="http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/downloads/index.html">Oracle Forms 11g Downloads</a> - Oracle Forms 11g Demo Pack. Download this .zip file and look at the *demos.html* document for instructions on how to use this Java Bean.

Moreover,I hope to put it into practise.
Therefore,I wanna use oracle and Java EE to build our own website for our club(an organization in our school) and we will deploy it to our own server.

So it sounds to me if this is purely for learning and internal use without commercial and production purpose, you don't have to pay. But Oracle and it's sales rep will have the final words. Better double check to confirm.

Can't open the forms using Oracle Forms Builder 6i

Dear All,
I at first download the file .fmb from linux server to local pc.and I setup oracle Forms builder 6i and want to edit the file .fmb on the local form builder ,but can't open it with forms builder raising FRM-10043.
I download the source file .fmb using both mode of ftp and I try it but it faise to open it. I don't know why it is.pls which one who knows it tell me.

Oracle Form builer under linux server is for Forms 6.0(Form builder) version 6.0.8.25.2,and Oracle Form builder under my XP is for Forms [32 Bit] Version 6.0.8.11.3 (Production).I download the file .fmb from linux server to my XP using ftp tool,but the form builder on pc can't open it.

Printing barcode using oracle graphics

Hello Folks,
I am trying to create bar codes using reports & graphics. The
report documentation (chapter 06) does have guidance but which
is not clear on the graphics side.
Is some one can elaborate little more on this?

Spencer is correct...
but, watch out for the DEVICE you are reading the
bar code with...the wand, bar gun...etc.
what we had to do ( my team )
was to put and "*" before the bar code
and a "*" after the bar code for our gun to read
the code...then is worked...

go to the control panel
find FONTS and click on it
once the program displays all your FONTS
click on the menu FILE and then click on
INSTALL. this will ask you where the 3of9.tff is located
..find the location,
then install.
in your oracle report,
click on the FONT to install 3of9...blah..blah

Using oracle text in apex report search

I am trying to use oracle text in apex, integrating it in an existing application. The idea is that it will allow to do a search in bigger textfields. Thats how I want it to get to work. In one of the oracle packaged applications oracle text is used as well, so I will have a look to that as well. I've addapted this search. I've added
AND t. contains(oplossing, :P15_OPLOSSING)

That didn't work, so I changed those two to:

I've tried adding the addition in a different place, yet that gives the same error message. I'm not sure now.

You need to ensure that your 'NLS_LANG' setting on the PC on which you are using WF Builder matches the database NLS_LANG
setting.
This is set to <LANGUAGE>_<TERRITORY>.<CHARACTER SET>

I have been using Script UI and Javascript within the ExtendScript Toolkit to build panels for After Effects CC, but I like the way the Adobe Extension Builder works with Eclipse, and the power of including external libraries like JQuery. Is there any route to build extensions for After Effects with this or some similar solution?

I could not find any update of Extension Builder though which would support the After Effects extension development.
