Any sample for using Captcha with Oracle ADF ?

Hi
Thank you for reading my post
is there any sample available for using captcha with adf faces ?
thanks

Hi,
nott hat I am aware of. However, I started a project to build a custom JSF component using
http://jcaptcha.sourceforge.net/
Not sure when I have this finished, but the goal is to have this working with ADF Faces (not sure if it makes sense to bind the component to ADF though)

  • Any samples for using JMX for displaying cluster statistics 3.6 ?

    Hi,
Our Coherence 3.6 cluster is configured in the WLS domain and controlled using WLS node manager. This is all working well. We have created a WLS console extension to show the actual live cluster topology (rather than the configured topology) so we can ensure all the domains are configured correctly and there are no nodes in the cluster that there should not be (we have many domains/environments).
I can show basic cluster statistics and show the members etc using the CacheFactory. But for each cluster member I would like to show if it is storage enabled and free memory and other statistics. I was expecting to get that from the Member or Cluster objects returned from the CacheFactory methods but it seems not. It seems that JMX is the way to go. Does anyone have any sample JMX code they might share that would connect to the cluster and retrieve stats and info that is not available from the CacheFactory api ?.
    TIA
    Martin

    Hi Revanth,
The issue seems to be with the JMX URL value defined in the 'server URL' property.
Apparently I ran into the same issue as I was unable to access the Admin Server URL from the SMA.
Changing the Host and Port value properly resolved the issue for me.

  • Support for using TNSNAMES with Oracle Thin Driver?

    Hi.
In the official Oracle JDBC FAQ (http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_faq.htm), they say that from the "10.2.0.1.0" release, the Thin driver hast support for using TNSNAMES entries. Thus, you can use URLs like this:
jdbc:oracle:thin:@GL (thin driver, but connection info defined in tnsnames.ora)
Does anyone know how could I use an URL like this? Do I have to install the Oracle client? or can I simply copy a tnsnames.ora file someplace on disk and specify its ubication through an environment variable or something like that?
I haven't find util information in the Oracle site....any ideas are much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

I just found some info here:

  • Using Tuxedo with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)

    Hi all ,
Our present Producation environment is Tuxedo8.0 with Oracle 9i as database .
We are planning to implement oracle RAC .
Can any one tell us , with the current tuxedo version which is 8.0 ,can we for RAC Or we need to upgrade Tuxedo to 9.1 for RAC Implementation?
If anyone has Implemented Tuxedo and Oracle with RAC successfully
    Pls share your experience.
    Thanks In Adavance
    Nadeer .

    Subbu,
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, support for Oracle RAC has been
implemented in Tuxedo 9.1 and in the Tuxedo 8.1 and Tuxedo 9.0 rolling patch
streams. There are no plans to backport this feature to Tuxedo 8.0. If you
plan to use RAC transactionally and if it is possible for multiple services
that could be located on different RAC instances to be accessed in a single
transaction (which will be true for most applications), then you should
upgrade to a version of Tuxedo with support for Oracle RAC. The
    documentation at http://e-docs.bea.com/tuxedo/tux91/ads/adorac.htm#248431
gives an overview of RAC support in Tuxedo.

    Hello Nadeer, Hello Ed,
Has the implementation of Tuxedo8.0 with Oracle RAC was completed
    successfully ?.
If it is done , I have few doubts. Could you please help me ?.
    1) I hope your Tuxedo middleware connects to the oracle Database using
Oracle XA resource manager and the TMS server built using buildtms with
oracle as RM .As per the mail from Ed, migration of Tuxedo9.1 should be done
    before moving to Oracle RAC.
Also from BEA documentation, Oracle RAC support was given as new feature in
    Tuxedo9.1.
Our Application uses Oracle RM to connect to Oracle DB[ Oracle 10g] from
Tuxedo8.0. So do we need to upgrade to Tuxedo9.1. for using Oracle RAC ?.
    Thanks for your help

  • Using OCCI with Oracle XA Library

Is it possible to use OCCI with Oracle XA Library?
the XA function xaoSvcCtx() can returns the OCI service handle
for a given XA connection. but how to convert it to the OCCI
    Connection class?
    any comments would appreciate
    Ray

    Hi Ravi,
We are now building CORBA application with C++. some programs
manage transaction through Transaction service(a TM of X/OPEN
DTP architecture), these programs must use XA Library.
OCCI is a wonderful tool for C++ programer, with OCCI building
a persistent layer over ORACLE is very simple.
But if OCCI not work with XA we have no choice but PRO*C or
OCI ,which's actually C style tool and hard to use especially
    in object mode.
So we hope OCCI can provide this feature in next release. and
I beleive This feature is necessary,It's very common using a
transaction monitor such as ORACLE Application Server .
    regards,

  • Any Examples of using ActiveCollectionModelDecorator with POJO data control

Are there any Examples of using ActiveCollectionModelDecorator with POJO data control in any of the sample packs?

OK, here's an quick example. Create a new Windows Forms application and add a ScatterGraph and a Label to the form. Add a cursor to the ScatterGraph, then add the code below to the form. This generates 50 random data points when the form is loaded and plots them, then uses the cursor's AfterMove event to display the current X and Y positions in the label. Here's the code:
    Private Sub OnFormLoad(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
Const dataLength As Integer = 50
    Dim xData(dataLength - 1) As Double
    Dim yData(dataLength - 1) As Double
Dim rnd As Random = New Random
    For i As Integer = 0 To dataLength - 1
    xData(i) = i
    yData(i) = rnd.NextDouble() * 10
    Next
    ScatterGraph1.PlotXY(xData, yData)
    End Sub
Private Sub OnAfterMoveXYCursor(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As NationalInstruments.UI.AfterMoveXYCursorEventArgs) Handles XyCursor1.AfterMove
    Label1.Text = String.Format("({0}, {1})", e.XPosition, e.YPosition)
    End Sub
    Hope this helps.

  • Advantage for use undo_management MANUAL oracle 9i DWH

    Hi,
    I have a questions,
What is the advantage for use undo_management MANUAL oracle 9i in DWH vs undo_management AUTO?
I need to obtain the UNDO_BLOCK_PER_SEC, but when I try to obtain the information in the view v$undostat, appear "no rows selected", exist any form to obtain this information?
    Thanks for your help!!
    Regards!!

To add to what SB said, do not tune what does not need tuning. That is, do not make changes till you have developed a case to support the change.
In order to learn how to work with rollback segments look in your DBA Administration manual. Since Oracle now puts the emphasis on automatic undo management I would look for an earlier version of the documentation set and reference it since there is probably more information in the manual where manual RBS management was the only method.
If you are a warehouse I would expect the number of users performing DML to be low and the update jobs to be large so I would expect a low number of large RBS segments to be allocated.

  • Any prerequisites for using javascripts (JS) in SAP BPC 7.5NW (SP5)

    Hi,
I keep getting evalution and parsing errors, every time I use a JS in my conversion files. It simple standard JS, like:
    js:parseInt(%external%)
    js:%external%.substring(2,5)
    etc
Are there any prerequisites for using javascripts ??
Is there anywhere I can debug these JS withing SAP BW ?
    Thank you,
    Joergen

    Gersh,
It works now. I have implemented the below code (ENTITY needed to contain the variable as well). The relationship profitcenter and entity is very important as it derives the relevant profitcenters from the profit center hierarchy (e.g. all profitcenters under the legalentity node).
    //ALLOCATION PROCEDURE CONVERSION RATE
    //=====================================
    *FOR %ENT% = %ENTITY_SET%
    *RUNALLOCATION
    *FACTOR=1

    *DIM PROFCENT WHAT=DUMPC; WHERE=BAS(BPC_%ENT%);USING=<<<; TOTAL=<<<

Thanks you in advance for your answers.Looking at the 8.1.7 doc set (the oldest available on tahiti) I get no hits when searching for 'dict_from_online_catalog'. Searching the 9.2 doc set turns up a reference. Looks like you are trying to use an option that isn't available in your version of Oracle.

  • Using iPayment with Oracle AR

    1. Is there any documentation available on the best practices for implementing iPayment with Oracle AR and iStore?
    2. Is there a US law which prohibits internet credit card payment prcoessors from sending line level payment data to internet merchants? How do merchants square up & reconcile their customer's AR a/c based on summary data?
    Thanks
    Samir

Which release of AR will have the Credit card processing built in?
The production release of AR's Credit Card processing is available on R11 with maintenance R11.0.4 or from patch 964809 on top of 11.0.3.
Is AR integrated out-of-the box with iPayment
    Yes.
AR and iPayment 3.1.1 integration in patchset 11.0.AR.D, was for the Credit Cards functionality. This integration (Credit Cards) patch 964809 is also available as one-off on top of 11.0.3 (or 11.0.AR.C).
From 11.0.4 (11.0.AR.D), Credit Cards functionality is Production.

    Hi everybody,
I'm using jfreechart with oracle forms 11g to continue having graphs in my application since i'm migrating from forms 6i. I've already got it working and it's great. Just have one problem left. I don't know how to change the axis labels. In Bar charts, it comes with "Values" in y axis and "Category" in x axis by default. I wanted to change that or make it dissapear. Anyone knows how to?

I've never used the jFreeChart, but according to their website you can use the "setLabel" method to set the label for an axis. Check out Axis (JFreeChart Class Library) for more information.
