Any1 having idea of developing application tat involve bluetooth?

i currently want to develop a server that will act as content provider, user who holding a bluetooth eneabled devices, can request contents/services from my server. eg: My server contain latest promotion of a supermarket. User that having a bluetooth enabled handheld device come within my server range, can request the latest promotion detail.
but after few day of research...i still unable to figure out how i can do this...
at the server side, i wish to add serveral service for client to view. below are some question i want to clarify
1. i saw some sample code, they actually go and specified the UUID at the server site. with the value of...

. Do we really need to set the UUID? and.....what the value string mean...
2. How i can add my service into the list? i try to do this

but i doesn't seem to added inside
3. for server site, it is not nessaccery for me to deloy in mobile application, i can delop in desktop also, rite?
4. if i wan to deloy this system into a desktop computer without bluetooth, is it mean that i have to buy a bluetooth device and install into my desktop computer?
5. do i have to develop a specified client application in order to communicate with the server? or i can use default bluetooth service to find service at server, and using the service straight away?

The intention of Bluetooth support in LabVIEW is really limited to data exchange as it is the most relevant application to test and measurement. Thus, there is no native Bluetooth audio support built into LabVIEW. It is important to note that not all Bluetooth audio protocols are even supported on the PC, so first make sure that your headset is compatible with other applications (or if it ships with its own PC integration tools). If that is the case, then your best bet would be to implement those 3rd-party applications in LabVIEW either through ActiveX or DLL calls.

If you're developing JSPs and Servlets....
I've found that using Eclipse (which is free) coupled with the MyEclipse plug-in (an advanced J2EE specific plug-in which costs $29.99USD/year) was the best for me. I've tried several free J2EE Eclipse plug-ins, didn't like them. Wasn't a big fan of NetBeans either, but I liked it tons better than the other Eclipse plug-ins.
Therefore, IMHO for free I'd go with NetBeans, for a small fee I'd go with Eclipse/MyEclipse plug-in.
If you are new to J2EE but not to Java, you may want to consider going straight to JSF and Sun's Java Studio Creator. This is not free, but the fee is one-time and development is (mostly) visual using Java Studio Creator.

Developer Application Provisioning Issues -- Only one app at a time?

_The upshot:_
You can have one and only one developer provision and developer application on the iPhone at a time otherwise you get installation errors (i.e. 0xe8000001).
_To fix:_
Use Xcode Organizer to ensure that you have one and only one application and provision installed to the iPhone that uses your developer certificate.
_To any Apple people:_
If I am wrong about any of this, please let me know. I have wasted 3-4 days over the past 2 weeks due to these issues, and any explanation would be well received! Having one and only one application and provision installed to the iPhone fixed the 0xe8000001 issues for me.
_Long winded explanation:_
It turns out that I am working on multiple iPhone applications at the same time.
Each application has a different AppID (as registered on the iPhone Developer Portal).
I have spent quite a bit of time having major issues with Developer Provisioning and application installation from within Xcode and Xcode Organizer, which led me to not be able to debug my application on a live iPhone.
I finally discovered my problem: I can only have one app and one provision on the iPhone that uses the same developer certificate.
When swapping between Xcode projects if I remove all provisions and applications using Organizer and re-add only the provision of the application I am working on, then the install errors at build time go away.
Samples of install errors that manifest themselves using the 0xe8000001 code:

These errors seem to be occurring because of an install time check against the installed provision files to verify the app, and it seems the provision from an already installed application is being used.
This is probably occurring because the main developer certificate has to be the same between the 2 applications. As the scan through the provisions is occurring, the certificate of the new app matches the certificate from the already installed app, and the provision check fails due to different App IDs.
There is one and only one developer certificate allowed per iPhone Standard program.
I hope that this helps some other people out there with their development provisioning and debug / installation errors.

This is why you should create a wildcard developer certificate (com.youcompany.*)...follow the directions in the program portal. Then you can then install all your apps on your phone.

SQL Injection threat with APEX developed applications

We are using a tool, HP WebInspect, to scan some of our APEX developed applications for web application security testing and assessment. The details you showed indicate no SQL injection possibilites whatsoever. The "Critical" examples also are unrelated to Application Express applications that you may have developed (application 4550 is the login application for the product itself and should rarely be used by end users in production environments).

Basically they do not accept unsolicited ideas but if you insist on sending the idea to them they own it outright. If the idea is that good you should look into developing it yourself. Then once it's a hit Apple may buy to from you.

Hi Krishna,
The iPlanet Web Server includes a Java container, and expected Java applications to be deployed as packaged war files.
You should be able to use any standard IDE that allows you to create war archives for your application. Something like Netbeans for example.

Hi,
You may or may not need to "register" the workflow - it depends on the changes that you made and which Item Type you modified. Some applications are essentially hard-coded to use a specific item type and process, some hard-coded to use an item type but you can configure the process to use, and some allow you to specify which item type and which process to use.
Without knowing exactly what you have done, though, there is no specific advice that anyone can give you here on what you need to do, apart from to ensure that you have saved the new definition to the database.

There are a number of levels of implementation pain here-- best practices in a Fortune 500 company, for example, are likely to require a lot more infrastructure than best practices in a 5000 person organization. A Fortune 500 is also much more likely to have requirements based on the needs of a security team separate from the DBA group, requirements about auditing, etc.
At the high end, everyone in your organization might be an enterprise user authenticated against a LDAP repository (such as Active Directory) with a variety of functional roles granted to those users and potentially something like fine-grained access control in the database. Depending on how applications are deployed, you might also be using proxy authentication to authenticate these individual users.
Deploying this sort of infrastructure, though, will be somewhat time intensive and will create a degree of administrative overhead that you may not need. It will also potentially require a decent investment in development costs. Your needs may be far simpler (or more complex), so your security model ought to reflect that.
