Anyone else have this problem with mail on 4s ?

Whenever I load mail app , my mail would say downloading on the bottom.. it would try to download 150 emails.. than it says downloading 300 emails . Anyone else ahve this problem ? This just started with IOS 7 and I have no clue how to fix this . My phone has very little remaining storage so the mail app is unable to download all of the emails causing my mail app to crash . I can't even use other apps at that point, every thing is crashing.
And if I free up more space, the mail app just eats up that too!! How do I get the mail app to stop downloading so many emails when I open it ?

It depends on what type of email account you are using. I am using outlook and when I enter settings, mail contacts and calendars, select on the account (outlook ), it give me the option for mail days to sink. I am not sure about any other accounts and how they work. Good luck

Does anyone else have this problem with the new up...

in order for me to dial or use the keypad, i have to press the end key before dialing any numbers and then to remove the numbers and the dialing bar, i have to clear all the numbers manually by press the C button then i can press the end key to take off the dialing bar. another problem i have is that when i put my profile on silent, the phone doesn't vibrate the screen and lights only flash like they normally do. has anyone else had this problem? im guessing there are more flaws with the new update but im still looking into it.

i have a iPhone 3G S white 32 gb abd the sleep button does not work. have tried all kinds of restarts and restores. so I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem? (getting it replaced by Apple.)

The sleep button is hardware - if that ain't working, an Apple replacement is definitely the way to go.

Does anyone else have this problem with the iTunes visualizer?

I rarely use the iTunes visualizer but, when I do, it gives me the option of either using the newer one or the classic one. I like to use the new one but the problem is that I can only go to "visualizer options" if I am using the classic one. In said options I could set it so that the song info (song title, artist, album title and artwork) stays in the bottom left corner for the entire song. The few times I use the visualizer, I do like to have it up for the whole song--I just think it looks cool, I don't know...
Anyway, since I can't get the options for the new visualizer, the song info always fades away after the first five seconds or so of the song.
Anyone else realize this?? And does it annoy anyone else lol?

I just tweaked my network settings to allow "Back To My Mac" as part of MobileMe - I enabled NAT port...
After that, iMovie would NOT recognize my card reader with an SD card in it - from my Vixia HF100.
When I turned my network off, suddenly, it started generating thumbnails and can import the footage. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THE NETWORK AFFECTS HOW IMOVIE CAPTURES FROM AN SD CARD?!!?

I have this same problem. I turned off the airport and it immediately worked. I find it very odd as well. I have not found any solutions to this issue.

Anyone else have this problem with their iPhone and MacBook?

Okay, so just now I had my iPhone sitting on my Macbook's bottom left hand corner. I go to slide it off to the side and it locks my MacBook! I thought it was just a coincidence, so I tried it again with the same result. I thought it was bluetooth, but this is off on both my phone and Mac. Anyone know what this could be?

I know it is a little thing but when I open iCal, number (date) is appearing on red part of icon... it started to happen about few weeks ago...

I tried to take this icon off the dock then put it back. But it still happens.

I have the same problem. It only appeared after one of the Tiger patches (sorry, don't know which one). The little number in the upper right of the icon appeared when I added some ToDo items. The number was the day of the month when it was due (actually it was the first one due). I checked off the task when done, but the number remains. When I exit iCal, the icon reverts to the old 17 one. Starting iCal changes the icon (to have today's date) AND carefully replaces the extra number. It's a little thing, but it grows VERY old very quickly. I tried disabling the font and it made no difference.

Photoshop CS4 does not recognize raw photos taken with newer cameras. Anyone else have this problem?

Photoshop CS4 will not recognize RAW2 photos taken with my new Panasonic Lumix FZ100 camera. This camera is listed in Adobe's 6.2 Camera Raw update for Photoshop CS5 but cannot be loaded in CS4. I paid a lot of money for CS4 and don't want to buy CS5 just because I bought a new camera, but it appears that Adobe no longer updates Camera Raw for CS4 or with newer cameras. When I called the Help Desk to find out if there was some kind of patch I could get to make CS4 compatible with my new camera a gentleman in New Delhi informed me that he couldn't even answer my question until I paid $40 since answering questions about CS4 was a "paid service." I hung up in a rage. Does anyone else have this problem and is there a solution?

Adobe does indeed not update obsolete versions of Camera Raw for new camera types.
And guess what: It’s the camera producers who seem to like to change their raws – so how about spreading some of your indignation their way?
I paid a lot of money for CS4 and don't want to buy CS5 just because I bought a new camera
The upgrade is cheaper than buying the full version.
Anyway, you could try the free DNG Converter which should be able to handle everything the most recent version of Camera Raw can handle.

I have safari 7.0.2 and OS 10.9.4, everytime I try to install a safari extension such as, Pocket, I get an error message that says, Cannot install extension, I get this with every one of them. Does anyone else have this problem?

Back up all data before proceeding.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. I'm experiencing the same issue too. I can't see to use the brush in my clipping mask the same way. It works for a moment, then several minutes in to production it ends up crashing.
I hope this issue is resolved soon. It's definitely frustrating and delaying my production time.

When I try to enter codes for digital movie downloads it tells me "code redemption is temporarily unavailable. Try again later." Customer support has been no help. Anyone else have this problem?

Am sick of going back and forth with what has turned out to be worthless customer support. Have sent them so much info and pictures, no help. All they do is send me links for instructions on how to redeem the codes. I know how to redeem, I have redeemed at least 50 codes. To them I am obviously an idiot though. To me it seems to be a problem on their end, but can't get an answer from them on why it is telling me code redemption is unavailable. Please help! Anybody!

The following steps may resolve your issue:
Apple TV: Basic troubleshooting

If your TV screen appears fuzzy or black (you see no video)
Make sure the television you are using supports the Apple TV resolution requirements. Please see the Apple TV technical specifications.
When you connect power, check to make sure the LED turns on. If the LED is not on, then verify with a known good power outlet or connect something else to the outlet you're using for Apple TV and make sure it works (such as a lamp or clock).
Make sure you're using the correct video cables and that they are connected firmly to Apple TV and to your TV.
Connect the HDMI cable directly into the Apple TV and your television, remove any third party devices or adapters.
Make sure the input setting you've selected on your TV matches the input you have your video cables connected to. See the documentation that came with your TV for more information.
Change the Apple TV resolution by pressing and holding the Menu and Up button for six seconds. The Apple TV will automatically cycle to the next resolution at approximately 20 second intervals. Pressing the Selectbutton will immediately cycle to the next resolution.
If you are connected via HDMI, try unplugging and replugging your HDMI cable.
If HDMI isn't working on an Apple TV (1st generation), try component cables instead (and disconnect the HDMI cable temporarily). Read more about HDMI vs component video.
