I want to create a general auto attendant that i can add prompts to get to existing queues already in production. Any ideas??
I usually have a resultHandler function, to handle stuff from the server.

It sounds like someone was trying to add the Blackberry Enterprise Service (BES) to her Blackberry device. She doesn't need that. She will have to get the 3G Smartphone data package, which is called the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) for $29.99. It includes unlimited data, meaning unlimited internet and instant messaging and she can add up to 10 email accounts on the device. Has anyone ever ran Logic using VMWare Workstation on a Windows PC?
Has anyone ever emulated Mac OS X and used Logic on their x86 Microsoft Windows systems? I was thinking about doing this to use some synths and stuff with some Windows designed software. I'm not sure if it is possible to use both operating systems at the same time with VMWare Workstation operating system emulator. Help me out guys. Has anyone ever done it? Can it be done?
VMWare Workstation will not run the client version of Mac OS X in emulation, and likely won't run Mac OS X Server either.

Help needed in creating a simple paint application
I want to create a simple paint application using swings in java, i am able to draw different shapes using mouse but the problem is when i select some other shape it simply replaces the already drawn object with the new one but i want the already drawn object also, like appending, what should be done for this, any logic missing here or i should use some other approach?

Hi all,
I am trying to create a simple search page using Jdeveloper 9.03 OA Framework that will allow the user to search for records in a view based on a few key columns.
Are there any resources available which show a step by step process for doing a simple search? I followed the User Guide as far as being able to create the EOs, VOs and the query page region but I dont know how to get the results of the VO in the query page.
There has got to be an easy way of getting such a apparently simple task done. I get the impression J Developer is unnecessarily complicated... Why couldnt there have been Wizards for common development tasks? It just seems unnecessarily confusing.
I'd appreciate any help on this, no matter how insignificant. Im at an impasse here.

I did that, and it worked, but with one major problem... For some reason, it only works on the seeded tables in the AK schema. Those work without any problem. I tried making my own test tables also in the AK schema but when I try to search non AK seeded tables. it errors out. Funny thing is it errors out only when there are records found. If there are no records found the page displays correctly.
Ive tried everything I can think of.
I made a two column table with primary keys, unique indexes, not null conditions, everyting that seemed special about the seeded AK tables to see if I could prevent the error from coming... no luck.
I suspect it is a bug... Has any one ever got this error before?

Creating a simple ApplicationServer
Hi All,
I am facing a problem in which I need your expertise for the resolution. Any suggestions, ideas are welcome.
I have the following set-up:
1. I have to make a search-engine; this is not a web-based application.
2. There shall be a Swings-based client.
3. The client will collect all the parameters on which the search will be made. These parameters will be given by the client who wants to make a search operation.
4. The parameters will need to be sent to the search-engine. This means search-engine will be an application that will listen to a particular port on which the client will send the request.
How to approach:
I think that what we can do is that:
1. We can create a simple server that uses ServerSocket to listen to a specified port.
2. Server will maintain a ThreadPool for processing the requests.
3. The client can collect the input given by the user can place them in an Object. This Object can further be serialized and sent to the server using ObjectOutputStream.
4. Server will spawn a thread and create the object back using ObjectInputStream. Once the object is created, the parameters given by the user will be known. The search can be made now.
5. Ouput of the search will again be an Object will be sent to the client.
Query:
1. Is there a better way to transmit the request to the server i.e. is RMI a better option or are there any other mechanism that can be used to send the (search-related) parameteres from the client to the server?
2. Is there a third-party API / tool there to support the functionality of the server?
3. Is there a third-party API to support the functionality of the ThreadPool?
If you have any resolutions to the above problem, please share them.

If this is a homework question, you need to approach your tutor and ask him to qualify what he means by "application server", unless that's just a term you've decided to use yourself, in which case, I reckon you've been asking the wrong questions. Did he specifically say "application server"? Re-reading your original question, I'm unconvinced that an "application server" is what was asked for -

You can use something like this:
Create two tables:
1) Table1
(id NUMBER PRIMARY KEY, sender varchar2(100),

Here Table2 & Table1 are identical. You can use only one table if you do not want to maintain the history of the mails sent.
Base your form on "Table1".
Now pass whatever values you want to pass you can base it through this form to the table1(I mean INSERT).
Calling utl_smtp directly from here won't be a good idea because your form will hang unless the mail is sent.
So create a procedure for sending mails:

Exchange 2013 Auto Attendant fails when using multiple languages
Hi All,
Trying to setup UM Auto Attendants as I had it in Exchange 2010, but cannot get it to work as I want.
Here is my setup:
Windows 2012 and Exchange 2013.
Parent - Main Auto Attendant (80)
Child - English Auto Attendant (81)
Child - Swedish Auto Attendant (82)
Child - Finnish Auto Attendant (83)
All callers are first connected to 80 where they can select the language to continue with (press 81 for English, press 82 for Swedish, press 83 for Finnish).
This is what I found out this far:
- If I have English language selected on all Attendants everything works fine I can select all choices and everything works as it should.
- If I select the proper language for the other languages (82 & 83) only the connection to 80 & 81 works. If I try to connect from 80 to 82 or 83 nothing happens (connection goes quiet) and the only solution to get UM to answer again is to restart the
UM service on the server.
Extra info/what I tested this far:
- I reinstalled the extra language packs just to be sure there were no issues.
- If I select Swedish or Finnish language on extension 80 they work fine, so the language packs seems to be OK.
Ideas Anyone?

After installing CU1 for Exchange 2013 this behaviour changed a little bit. Instead of getting total freeze of the system I get an error message instead saying "System Error Occured" and then a hangup.
I also find out that if I remove the checkbox "Set the auto attendant to respond to voice commands" for the extension 82 & 83 (Swedish & Finnish Auto Attendants) this error does not happen, but I like to use the voice commands....
Also when the error occurs I get the following in the Event Log:

Here's an example, Using a for loop can I keep track of the loop number in an array?
In the first loop ,first array would have 1, in the second loop,second array would have 1,2. And in the last loop array N, would have 1,2,3...N.
First loop => 1
Second loop => 1 2
Third Loop => 1 2 3
N loop => 1 2 3 4 . . . N.
ThanksBuilding arrays are pretty simple. If you want the array outside the for loop, you just have to wire iteration terminal to the edge of the the for loop. The auto-indexing feature of a for loop will automatically create the array. If you need the array inside the for loop, you can use the build array function and a shift register.

I am trying to create a simple animated gif in Photoshop. I've set up my frames and want to use the tween to make the transitions less jerky. When I tween between frame 1 and frame 2 the object in frame two goes out of position, appearing in a different place than where it is on frame 2. Confused!
Hi Melissa - thanks for your interest. Here's the first frame, the second frame and the tween frame. I don't understand why the tween is changing the position of the object in frame 2, was expecting it to just fade from one frame to the next.

LR.3.3 Web module not picking up image edits
When I create a slideshow in LR3.3, it does not pick up the edits that I made to the images. The only things it picks up are crop and maybe sharpening (hard to tell). Haven't had the problem before today. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, John
