Anyone ever deal with "@import" in css?

I have been given the task of recreating a series of web pages; using a product page which originates from Japan. I was able to secure the *.css codes from the source but no matter what I do I cannot get the elements on MY page to render the same as the original page.
I did notice one thing that confounds me. Within the "library" of .css attachments there is one called "import.css" which contains no css code as I understand it but a series of "sub" css names: (the top phrases; inside the /*.......*/ were translated from Japanese...the @phrases were as received)

Has anyone ever encountered this before? I have tried to link the "content, base, top and form css" files directly and bypass the "import.css" but no dice.

I put no FB files in there unless they were hold overs from the original Japanese page and I didn't notice them.
What I did Nancy was to discard the "import.css" and link what was in there directly, then upload the page and the peripheral css files to the server. I did notice that when the "base.css" is removed the page shifts a bit so I'm thinking that MAY have something to do with it; probably not. Even though I have been translating all the Japanese into English in the hopes of finding a clue I can't get it out of my head that perhaps Japanese code and English code may not mix but code is code, right? At any rate thanks for checking in on me. Always happy to hear from you.

Quit iTunes, restart your computer, restart your iPad and try again. If it doesn't work with a restart of the iPad, try a reset of the iPad.

Does anyone still deals with HP3048A Phase Noise Measurement System?

I am currently on a project dealing with phase noise measurement. The instrument available is HP3048A(Phase Noise Measurement System)
However, I have this problem that is to extract the program codes used to control various equipment: HP11848A (Phase Noise Interface), HP3561A(Dynamic Signal Analyzer)using LabView 6.1 because I do not have the program codes to control them. The interface used: GPIB
I have the program used by HP3048A to control the instrument but the language is BASIC and the codes used does not seems to work well in Labview 6.1
For example: "RST" when input via using HP3048A can preset the instrument 3561A but does not work for LabView6.1
Can anyone out there help me?

Hello,
Using VISA while specifying your GPIB resource, you should be writing whatever string you send, and your instrument should receive it. This should be completely independent of the language used. I know that *RST is a rather common command, and semicolons often delimit multiple commands sent at once. Can you try *RST and *RST; just to see if they work? Can you verify the precise command(s) in the user manual? Does any other command work using VISA?
Just a few things to try as we figure out what's going on!

I'm just curious how many people out there are going through or have gone through the current issue I'm having with Verizon Wireless. I upgraded my cell phone to the HTC Droid Inc 2 a little while back. I had informed the in-store customer service rep that I was in need of a very reliable phone but would like to have all the "bells and whistles". I also informed him of my line of work (I work on an ambulance as an EMT) and that my phone was critical for my job, and that I was also expecting a newborn. He then proceeded to pitch this phone to me as one of the top selling and that there have been "barely any known issues reported". I bought it. That day, had to replace the phone TWICE due to (the first phone) not having any signal, and (the second phone) not having any signal AND screen not responding. Then after a couple months of use (phone has a protective case, screen protector, no water damage) the screen suddenly stopped responding again. Was assured by customer service that this is a very rare occasion and almost "unheard" of. Was sent a new phone in the mail a few days later. Was told that all new phones are "guaranteed" to work fully as expected. Now, that phone's screen has also STOPPED working. Being a dedicated Verizon Wireless customer for many years with multiple lines on my account and having always paid my bill on time and never having a complaint before, I called customer service to explain to them how I could no longer take the risks of having this cell phone due to the possibility of its malfunction either during a critical moment at work, or if anything was to happen while my newborn daughter was in my care. I was pitched the same "this is a rare occasion" and "your new phone is guaranteed to work" lines from the customer service rep. Now I understand phones malfunction. But I would rather take my chances with a new model phone, due to the fact this is the ONLY phone I'v EVER had ANY issues with. And it's not like I was asking for the newest and greatest, just something of equal value, or even less of a value, as long as it had relatively the same functions. For a bill of roughly $200 a month that I give Verizon, I honestly didn't think this was to much to ask for. Does anyone else have anything similar that has happened to them like this? I would love to hear it and find out your outcome.

Besides hardware issues like the power button that keeps sinking further into the phone and which Verizon has told me is actually a feature of the phone there are issues with a tower that is one mile from my house. In fact I can see the tower, yet I have constant dropped calls and conversations are garbled.
Now, before you tell me to do the *228, a battery pull and hard reset, I've done all of that. This tower is defective. I've had a technical support engineer tell me that. A major interstate runs by and my exit is known as a dropped call area for Verizon. Yet, when I call to ask what could be done they were surprised I was having problems because of the close proximity of the tower. And I was told this was the first trouble report they had had, which I find amusing since I hear people all the time refer to the area I live as the "black hole."
So, what they've done is open a trouble ticket and they were supposed to have sent out technicians to run tests. I was told they would get back to me within 24-48 hours. It's been five days and I've yet to hear anything, nor do I expect to. The support team kept trying to sell me an extender, which won't work given the tower has problems.
I work out of my house several days a week and it is imperative I have a phone that works as advertised. Your coverage maps show this to be your strongest area for coverage. My phone shows 4-5 bars constantly, yet voices are garbled and calls dropped. The support rep had me mark calls and when I called back she said she saw 25 dropped calls. That's unacceptable. I never had these problems when I was with AT&T. Since Verizon's answer is to deny there is a problem and try and push me to buy a cell extender my next step would appear to be to invoke the mediation clause on my contract. I believe I have collected enough evidence to render the contract void at this point.
I appreciate you responding to my post, but I also know it's your job to monitor these sites and offer lip service to customers complaining. But you and I both know you aren't going to do anything to help rectify this problem. I am going to call them one more time and press them for a solution and if none is offered then the next step will be in the legal arena.

Anyone else facing error 1403 when downloading iOS6?
It pretty much downloads the whole update then the error message comes up right as it seems to be finished. Says the download has been corrupted.

I just had to work on this issue. Apple escalated my problem to software engineers. They suggested that 1403 error means your DNS (domain name service) Server isn't working properly. They provided me with IP addresses of other public DNS Servers to change to in network settings. Problem solved!

Was anyone ever happy with this phone at any point?

I am just curious if there is anyone out there who was remotely happy with this phone even for five minutes. Mine randomly restared from day one out of the box. Verizon was no help. (Getting another of the same phone fixes NOTHING.)

I think I liked it the first week. It took me about 3 weeks to realize I wasn't getting all of my text messages. That actually caused a fight between my best friend & I. At first the random re-starts were only occasional but unfortunately, not they happen almost daily. My biggest pet peeves are the fact that this SMART phone can't do what "dumb" phones can do - make phone calls & send/receive text messages. You would think the most basic parts of the phone would be good, wouldn't you? I'm so ready for a new phone but I'm doing a ton of research before I buy a new one.

Every animation program I'm aware of outputs to QT movie files.
I've used Electric Image for years, and has facilitated that export at least since 1994.
C4D isn't any different.

Is anyone else dealing with a second profile from mobileme switchover

I was a MobileMe user as a lot of people here were. When the switch to iCloud occurred, I was unable to access music between my devices, iMac, Macbook, iPhone, iPad. After a lot of support assitance and research, it was discovered that I have two profiles now; one is [email protected] and the other [email protected] I was told that Apple does not have the capacity to merge these two profiles. The issue that this has created is that now I have different music on both profiles and if I only use one of them, then I lose the music that is purchased and sitting in the other one.
My question is, does anyone know if Apple is working on merging these accounts? Or have they just cut loose of this and moved on?

Yes, I've already done all of that and confirmed that they are definitely two different profiles, both in iTunes and when logging into "Manage My Apple ID".
Apple has confirmed that when MobileMe was converted to iCloud, that a fair amount of accounts experienced this 'glitch'.
My question is whether anyone knows if Apple is working to merge profiles that were affected by this 'glitch' or if they are doing nothing because I have spent money on music in both accounts and have no way of accessing it unless I keep logging into and out of each.

The new version of Itunes is NOT interfacing correctly with my Airport Express device and I get an error message when I put my macbook in sleep mode. Anyone else dealing with this?

When I put my mac in sleep mode I get an error message and I have to click on it and then select whethere to play on computer or airport express. This was not true with the old Itunes but with this new version it is true. Any help?

well nobody bothered to give me a hint on what to do, maybe because the problems with the new version of iTunes are really a lot, there is an enormous amount of people out there that have all sort of different problems including mine so I have decided to return to the previous version which works fine and wait untill the apple people come up with a decent product ....

I am having a difficult time with the learning iview, I am not able to get SSO working and it defaults to a client other than the one I want to use.
Error message: No authorization to log on as a trusted system (Trusted RC=2). ( type of termination: RABAX_STATE )
AND
Error message: Exception condition "SYSTEM_FAILURE" raised. ( type of termination: RABAX_STATE )

That's not too much to ask although I wouldn't think it makes any difference - but who knows.
So I disconnected the USB drive and trie3d the mouse via the keyboard - no go
Then connected the keyboard to the Mini directly without the extension cable - no go
So if I connect the mouse to a Mini USB port directly it works fine, if I connect it to a USB port on the keyboard it doesn't work at all - the pointer just sit there and doesn't move. Tried clicking with the left and right button and operating the scroll wheel, nothing works. It's an optical mouse, LED is on the way it should be.
The three mice that don't work are all brand new, I just bought them at two different places and they are all different brands - the Kensington mouse which I had used with my previous keyboard works via the keyboard USB hub but freezes occasionally which it never did with the previous Apple keyboard.
If the mouse work when connected to the Mini directly it should work when connected to a keyboard USB port, after all, that's what they are there for - to connect a mouse.

I have seen many blogs and chat sites discussing the problems with iOS 6 but none seem to cover the issues I'm experiencing. Is anyone else dealing with the following issues?

The volume control is sometimes missing when I play music then mysteriously reappears later. Music is playing but can't be heard on phone speakers or external speakers. Then sometimes after turning the mute button on and off and using the volume controls the audio will return. Sometimes the clicker noise that's heard when typing stops working then suddenly starts again in the middle of composing a message. Sometimes when attempting to touch the screen so i can type, I'm unable to. I only started having these problems after downloading the new ios. Am I alone in these issues or are others experiencing then as well.

Anyone ever seen an eventoracle.cpp line 370 error when dealing with an ActiveX control?

I'm dealing with an ActiveX control in LabView 7.0 that allows me to input video / audio from a USB webcamera. The ActiveX control also allows for the playback of the AVI files that are recorded from the webcam. During playback, I occasionally get a eventoracle.cpp @ line 370 error that is hard to diagnose and hard to reproduce. Any ideas? I do have the ability to move to LabView 7.1.1 if needed, but I have not tried that yet.

you can adjust the user event data type to your needs. for example you can add a string "source" to the events data. additionally you can pass the "user parameter" to the callback vi to specify its location. see attachment below.....
