Anyone getting the error message- windows error 127? It keeps coming up everytime I try to open iTunes- even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
I updated my iTunes on my laptop and when I tried to open it, it continues to say some link in missing and Windows Error message 127. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but the same message appears. Has anyone dealt with this before and know how I can fix it?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

That crash appears to be casued by the Facebook plug-in.
Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account. -
CS5.5 and OSX 10.9.4: Most applications will not launch even after uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Suite 5.5. After my 2011 MacBook Pro 17 died, I had to purchase a new MacBook Pro 15 to replace it. I performed a Time Machine installation from that 2011 machine, and only Distiller and Acrobat would launch (none of the rest of the creation apps). Can't get rid of the blue "downloading the latest applications" bar that seems to be just hanging and won't go away. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the bar is still there after 2 days. I updated something (can't remember what!) on I.E., and it had the same blue bar, but it had a box I could x out of so it went away on I.E. I don't know why the blue bar is there on Firefox, as I did the update while on I.E.

I am using 3.6.12 version of firefox with windows OS. Recently, lot of addons not working and not showing in task bar like IE tab, RC Search, Answers, Better Privacy, AdBlock plus, etc. I have some 15-20 addons installed of which only 5-6 addons are working .Please help

The main reason for this is because there was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.

It's not a good idea to install an ActiveX control in Firefox because you expose your machine to exploits which target that Microsoft technology. If you need to use Internet Explorer, then do that rather installing the IE Tab.
You may find your other add-ons start working properly after you update Firefox, so do that first. -
I've tried backing it up on my computer, it works fine for a few hours. But, it just keeps acting slow. I've deleted atleast 20 apps, and have even tried using it less.. I don't know what could be the problem.. I also cant turn it off, because the lock button is broken. The nearest apple store is at least an hour away, and I never have time to drive that far..

Accessing Gmail suddenly stopped working on both my Powerbook pro running latest OS and Mail versions and on my iPhone. I can access via the web. I get the error that my password or username is incorrect. I reset my password in Gmail and confirmed it works on gmail, I then changed it on my Iphone and Mac Mail. It still does not work. I deleted the gamil account on mail on my mac and reinstalled it and it still will not work
I too started having my password rejected in MAIL.app for imap.mail.me.com for my icloud email address. Can login to icloud with web browser fine. This has been happening off and on for several days.....if I wait 2-3 hours it will suddenly start working again, but then problem re-asserts itself ;-)
