JAAS login module is calling password change page

Hi,
I am developing an login module on SAP Portal 7.0, but I stuck an issue. "User password change" page is appearing on the screen as soon as I call "http://<hostname>:<port>/irj/portal", after I add my custom login module under "ticket" component on "Visual Administrator". It is weird that custom login module is running properly on the portal with 1 server node. The problem is occured when I try to call it on the portal with 5 server nodes. I would like to indicate that I didn't call "User password change" page or something like a thing that can call that page, in the code. Anyone has a suggestion?

Portal API for pages, styles etc

Greetings,
I have laboured through documentation and have reached the point where I can manage portlets & portlet instances through the API.
What I can not do is programatically create, delete or alter actual "portal pages".
I would prefer to not have to resort to manual update/delete statements on the PORTAL30.WWPOB_PAGE$ table and its dependants..... that's not a terribly robust solution. An example of what I want to do is programatically change the "style" for a given page.
Am I missing something obvious here?

I hope you meant building portal pages programmatically. :)
In 10.1.4, there is a set of API procedures (like wwsbr_api) used for this purpose to do content management programmatically. you can create page groups, pages and items etc or edit them.
Please see this link for details. [Programmatic Content Management|http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/portal.1014/b14135/pdg_cm_extend.htm#BABFAICA]. Also see the two chapters before this to get some related ideas.

BC Next API call not working on webapp detail page

Hi all
I'm trying to get the CRM data for a specific record using the front end API call...here's the code (fields minimal for posting here)

This code works fine on a normal page, rendering the expected JSON output, but the exact same code does not work on a webapp detail page, instead I get this result rendered on the page, obviously failing on the where clause for some reason.

Anyone know how to make this work? or is it a BCNext bug?

It has happened with other things as well where it is not render properly, I thought they had fixed it, but looks to be back

Mozilla page is in No Style although I changed it into Basic Page Style so I can't see Themes

I have installed Lion Family theme, and I updated Firefox to latest version today. After installing firefox to latest version, I could not see my theme so I tried to look for new theme but I could not see to pictures for the themes. I thought it is in No Style so I checked the Page Style but it showed me that the website is in Basic Page Style. So I tried to ask for help to Mozilla support and I also found that all Mozilla pages are in No Style but other websites such as Facebook, Apple and Youtube are in Basic Style. What's wrong with that?

Pages - Style does not change on new line

Sometimes if I ahve been using bold or italic or underline, particularly when using them together, there are issues turning them off using shortcuts. When I start a new paragraph the shortcuts sometimes won't turn off the style and I have to type a few letters and then change the style, then go back and delete the extra letters. This is time-consuming and clumsy and feels hugely unprofessional for what should be a polidhed app!
Any ideas?

If I use Apple-b and Apple-i to make the text bold and italic, then hit return a few times to make a new paragraph, I then want to start the next paragraph in normal type (not bold and not italic).
So logically I would ess again apple-b and apple-i and then start typing in plain text.
It doesn't always happen, sometimes one turns off and not the other. Sometimes I do it and then have to type a few letters and then do it again for it to properly work.
I'm not sure what causes it to sometimes get 'stuck'. I'd say it happens about 30% of the time.

How to handle jquery and ajax call in single page application using coded ui

I am facing a very tricky situation while using coded ui. My application interact with ajax and I was facing the issue to handle the ajax in the login page and other pages. and got solution for my problem. Now when ever a ajax is getting called in the page its getting handle with app config file. However the issue I am facing right now is.
When i click on a button a window will appear which is actually a "div tag". Please see the image below. In the that window when I have to select a item from drop down, the ajax will get called, however it will get called only for the window,
it wont be called for the entire page.. i.e. it will update only the window. I am not able to handle this ajax call, script gets stuck in refresh state. I will request you guys to provide a work around for it.
I would like to add more details - Visual studio version - 2013 update 3, IE11.
Application details: Its a single page application which uses bootstrap framework. All the ajax call are dynamic.

The window is not exactly a pop up window. Its a div tag in the same page. As this is my first time to work on a single page application I am not sure how it works. For the entire page I am able to handle the ajax call however the action performed
in the div tag is not getting handled.

I agree the point the UI has to be active or else the script will have issue during the playback. In my scenario I have to work on that window. I have to perform action on it. Now when the window(div thing) comes up the page in the background goes disable
till the action is performed on the window or the window is closed. I have to perform action on it then only I can proceed with the TC automation. Please let me know any option to solve this problem.

How to get the highlighted text range through Framemaker's API calls?

I'm new to the Framemaker API (7.x) and developing a plugin for Framemaker 7.x. I wanted to get the highlighted objects from the active mif document. Tried this code:

Here is how I tested it:
1. some text in the mif doc was highlighted.
2. I clicked the menu item "my_plugin", a framemaker dialog popped up, some test configuration was sent through the dialog.
3. The test configuration was read by my program correctly.
However, the debugger showed that the tr is null! When I changed the first step of the test into:
1. placed the mouse cursor at somewhere in the mif doc.
The plugin worked somehow, the line where the mouse cursor was placed got selected, although I did not highlight anything.
My question is: how to get a highlighted range though the Framemaker API call? I've been flipping through the FDK 7.0 Programmer's Reference but haven't found a solution yet. Any hint will be highly appreciated.

Here is some information from the FDK Programmer's guide page 115:
IMPORTANT: A valid text range can span multiple paragraphs, subcolumns, or text frames.
It cant span multiple flows, footnotes, table cells, or text lines.
It is possible for a document to have no text selection or insertion point at all. This can occur in
the following circumstances:
● One or more graphic objects in the document are selected
● One or more entire table cells in the document are selected
● There is no selection of any type in the document
So, I did select one or more entire table cells in the document in my first test. It's logical that the result was not like expected.
But selecting one or more entire table cells is a crucial requirement for my plugin, is there anyway to get things straight?
Simply put, I want to enable users to select one or more table cells in the document, and I want to get the object handles of the first cell and the last cell through Framemaker API calls. How?

For example, if I created an edit page for editing portlets, is there an api call that I make to tell SAP portal that I am on edit mode so that portal will subsequently save the changes to perhaps an xml file? Maybe there is a edit_mode variable ?

Making an order payment using SecurePay and Paypal Standard gateway by API call-Order_PaymentProcess

I'm working at third party system which by API communicate with BC and in short:
1) create an order with specified products for specific customer) etc. at BC account ofcourse (works fine)
2) Make the payment using one of the payment gateway (defined in BC Payment gateway section)
a) SecurePay, or (works fine)
b) Paypal Website Standard (problem)
I found a litttle problem in API call to make the payment using paypal website standard (to be presice in case of Paypal option actually the user should be moved to the paypal website so the system should generate some link i think which will have some data which identify payment for specific order). I tried to use the Order_PaymentProcess (https://worldsecuresystems.com/catalystwebservice/catalystcrmwebservice.asmx?op=Order_Paym entProcess)
call but it looks it can't be done?
Please note the payment with this call using credit card details cause successfully use the SecurePay Payment gateway. Is here anyway who know the trick how to force (and what parameter should be used) to
make the payment using Paypal Website Standard?
And Yes I tried to obtain some additional documentation from BC support but without success (They said they are working at the new version of it... about 2 years ago they said they probably will prepare more detailed documentation ).

I mean is it possible to move the user to the paypal site but in post data set some value which can be handled directly by the BC after making the payment at paypal site, so the BC then could for specific order automatically register this operation after paypal send the successfull payment notification?

Dude, I don't know what you're saying. There's too much text and too much code, and the code is unformatted. When you post code, please use[code] and [/code] tags as described in Formatting tips on the message entry page. It makes it much easier to read.
However, based on the subject of your post, there's one thing I can say: If your key's state changes in a way that can affect the value of its hashcode, then you'll have to remove and re-add that key/value pair. Since the hashcode determines which subset the HashMap searches though to find your key, if your key doesn't have the same hashCode it has when you put it into the map, then the map will search the wrong bucket for your key.
If that doesn't help, please try to provide more concise, formatted code and a more concise explanation of the problem.

If this is the case, your implementation should have been called by the framework in before.

Changing colors/style sheets with custom header portlets?

We would like write a completely custom header portlet (a standard portlet that is designated as a header, notusing the branding server), but I can't seem to find a way to change the style sheets in subportals when I do this.
Am I missing something? Do you have to use the branding engine to control style sheets in subportals, or is there another way?

The way Branding accomplishes what you're looking for is by setting a portlet setting called "Portal-Style" on the header portlet using the EDK. This setting can be set either as an Admin level or CommunityPortlet level setting. When the portal loads a page with a header, it will check to see if the header has this preference set (first on the CommunityPortlet level, if the header is on a community, and then on the Admin level). If so, the portal will cause everything to use the stylesheet specified in the setting value.
The setting value is the name of the stylesheet. For example, if you wished every page displaying the header to be orange, you could set the "Portal-Style" Admin setting on the portlet to a value of "mainstyle17", the orange-themed stylesheet.
Perhaps I'm not setting the preference properly. Sniffing the HTTP headers between the gadget and portal servers, I do see:
[HTTP_CSP_GLOBAL_GADGET_PREF] => Portal-Style=mainstyle17
(I also tried it with Portal%u002DStyle, but neither works)
The remote server header portlet doesn't seem to be picking up the fact that there is an admin pref to override the main page's stylesheet. Did I create the portlet wrong, or am I setting the preference incorrectly, or what? Thanks

ORA-06502 on "Help Text" region when changing pages on a tabular form

We are developing an application on Apex 4.1.0.00.32. This application have some pages with tabular forms and these pages uses a page zero as template. In this page zero, we have added two sidebar regions: a list region to navigate on the application and a help text to describe how to use our application.
The problem occurs when the tabular split the records into pages (since it has more records that it can show on a single page). When the user clicks to change to another page, Apex raises an ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error as described below:

My app seems to consume an enormous amount of API calls every day? Please help!

I am tired and sad and frustrated here, and feel like a total moron. I am very sorry if my post is too long and not very well put together, but im beggin anyone with some experience here to please give me some advice.
I am currently testing out a app I have created to let people add events, search for events, comment on and get notified about changes in events they have signed up for. I have used Azure Mobile Service for this, and it all seems to have worked well. This is
mostly a learning app for me, since I am very much a noob.
Now we are nearing launch of the app, and I have started to look at the numbers in Azure. I am on the free version right now, where 16k api calls a day are free (will move to priced tier on launch) - but the numbers look completely off the hook here!
Every day 2-3 devices seem to run up 600-700 API calls. I do run the testing app hard, of course, but I guess some user might do that to.
So - 4% of the daily free calls are consumed by 3 devices. That means 33 users could fill the quota, and the first paid tier only gives room for 300 users.
Am I reading something wrong here? Is my app then not viable? I think it, even with my noobness, has a potentil to get a few thousand users. Does that mean Im gonna have to go to the top tier? Because I can not afford that.
Over to the stack part of the question:
I log the user in, I create the tables, and then when they hit search I do something like this:

When the user is not in the app, I run a background service in Android that goes through a local db of events the user has created and then checks against the db for any changes to them. I do that like this:
