• BAPI for creating sales scheduling agreement

Hi All,
I have a scenario where i need to create a sales scheduling agreement using VA31. I have tried using a function module "SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE". I am able to create the document by inserting the correct data in "SALES_HEADER_IN", "SALES_ITEMS_IN", "SALES_PARTNERS" and using the update flag as " I ".
When I try to insert data in "SALES_SCHEDULES_IN" the function module returns error message "No schedule line category could be determined during quantity adjustment".
please provide help in finding out the right procedure for creating the scheduling agreement with schedule lines data.
Regards.

• Api for creating perspectives - does it exist??

Hi
Does anyone know if there exists an api for creating perspectives?
Torstein

No, you need Vista SP2 or higher. About all you can do is add your iCloud email account using these settings: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864, then check your other iCloud data by going to icloud.com from your browser.

• Does Adobe provide a free API for creating PDF files

Does Adobe provide a free API (for Windows) for creating PDF files? We are currently using
a basic, internally developed API for creating PDF files, but would like some additional
capabilities ... in particular the ability to add a watermark that appears when printing
but not when viewing PDF files on-line.
If this is not the right forum for this question, please let me know what forum would be
appropriate.
Thanks,

OK, with a little bit of searching on Adobe's web site, I found the answer to my question. Yes, Adobe does offer
an API for creating/manipulating/reading PDF files: it's called the Adobe PDF Library SDK and it has to be
licensed. Version 9 is the latest. The cost is decided on a case-by-case basis. Here is the link:

• Is it a third party API for creating table in J2ME?

I am a newbie to J2ME and i would like to know that whther is there any third party API for creating table in J2ME beside using Canvas to draw the table? Please help...

its not the "L shape" that holds it better rather the higher GAUSS rating on the older connector.
Apple redesigned the NEW magsafe to be weaker AND of a diff. design with lower neodymium magnetic gauss rating for a reason
people at coffee shops etc were getting their macbooks yanked to the ground when someone tripped over the cord.
The new neodymium is a N35 gauss and the older Lshape was N40 or N45 gauss (too tight)
I know what youre talking about, but Apple redesigned it that way for several good reasons, despite it "coming out easier" on the bed for which ,
as Apple Inc. states, it is "not intended to be used" (nor in laps, couches...etc.)

• APIs for creating Incentives headers and lines

Hello all,
Can any body list out the apis which are use ful for creating incentives headers and lines.
Thank you.

Let me get this right, you have a TOTAL at the Header Level, which when you use a LINE in the answer rather than getting the 100,000 answer you get n * 100,000 where n is the number of LINES?
It sounds like a Business modelling issue to me, you need to have two logical datasources defined for the LOGICAL TABLE one will contain just PO_HEADERS, one will contain PO_HEADERS and PO_LINES.
When you map the Total attribute within the LOGICAL TABLE you need to source from PO_HEADERS.TOTAL_PO, for the PO_HEADERS logical source, and then make sure you define a second value for the line using the PO_HEADERS and PO_LINES source - which will probably be QUANTITY * PRICE (or whatever the attributes are down at the line level).
This way when you create an answer just from PO_HEADERS it will use the TOTAL_PO, when you use an answer using PO_LINES it will use the QUANTITY * PRICE (or whatever Line Total Attribute you have defined).

• API for creating item catalog group

Hello,
Does anyone know which API's are used for creating the following Inventory objects:
1. catalog group

3. descriptive element value
4. manufacturer part number for master item
Thanks

If there are no APIs listed at http://irep.oracle.com, then there are none publicly available. There may be internal/private ones - you will have to peruse thru all of the API code in the database to see if there are any - if you find any and plan to use them, Oracle will typically not help in troubleshotting issues you may run into. You could also open an SR asking if there are any APIs available for use.

• Which is the best API for creating restful web services.

Hi guys,
I have tried a lot of apis to create a restful web service. But none of them has perfect documentation or examples. Which is the best one that has good support and future.

"Best" automatically implies opinions and speculation; one I personally believe has a bright future is Jersey. Jersey is the reference implementation (RI) for [JSR-311|http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=311] ("The Java API for RESTful Web Services" or JAX-RS).

• AppD 6 API for creating an Applicatin

good work on the APIs for 6.0, i really need the ability to create an Application from the API

thanks, sorry its taken so long to come back.
we are creating a UI that sits on top of vCAC and AppD, from here we can have more flexability, especially when offering customer dynamic pricing for the different options they sellect. currently we can only consume pre defined AppD blueprints (that are exposed via the vCAC API) as we dont provide access down to the AppD layer. so what we want to is also allow customers to dynamically create blueprints and see pricing for those changes. So a customer can pull in OS nodes and then layer on Services from our catalog. What we need is an API to create applications, do we can do this in our UI and do it dynamically.
if you can think of a way i would be very interested

• API for creating new User in Oracle E-Business Suite through BPEL

Hello,
I would like to use a BPEL process to create a new User in Oracle E-Business Suite. In the Integration Repository I was able to find an API called FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW that creates/updates Application's User data. Is this the API I should be using? If so, I would like to better understand how to use this API.
I have created a simple BPEL process and added an Oracle Application Service, which uses this FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW API. I set the following parameter before Invoking the Oracle Application Service: X_USER_NAME, X_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD and X_START_DATE. When I run the BPEL process I get the following error. I suspect that I am not passing all the required input parameters. Does anyone have any sample data I can use to get this API to load correctly? If I am using the wrong API, please let me know.
Please note, I have also posted this question to the SOA Suite and BPEL discussion forums...
Thank you kindly!

Hello and thank you for your response. I am new to using APIs so please excuse my inexperience... I am not sure how to run the API outside of BPEL... Is that something you could easily walk me through?
I have made the following changes in BPEL based on your recommendation: 1) Added Oracle Application Service and used the API, LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER, found in the Oracle Application Module Browser* under: Applications Technology (ATG_PF)> User Management (UMX)> User (FND_USER)> PLSQL> User (FND_USER_PKG)> LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER
2) Set the following parameter prior to Invoking the Oracle App Service: X_USER_NAME, X_UNENCRYPTED_PASSWORD,X_START_DATE, X_END_DATE, X_DESCRIPTION, X_EMAIL_ADDRESS, X_FAX, X_EXPIRE_PWD.
3) Deploy and run BPEL through BPEL Control.
I get the following {color:#ff0000}error on the Invoke{color}. {color:#339966}Do you see any issues with the values I am passing in the input{color}? Any idea why I am getting this error? Is there anything that I need to have configured for the API to work correctly, other than adding an Oracle Application Service in the BPEL?
Thank you for your time,
Christine

• PL/SQL API for Creating Sales Order

Hi,
I am new to Oracle SOA 11g.
I have done the Deleting Sales Order using PL/SQL API ( Oracle Apps Adapter ) [ API Name: OE_ORDER_PUB.DELETE_ORDER ] in SOA BPEL. While executing the BPEL, it is correctly deleting Sales Order in E Business Suite which is created in EBS User Interface. I don't face any problem while deleting the sales order.
Now, in same way, I have to create a new Sales Order using PL/SQL API in SOA-BPEL. I don't find any API's related to creating Sales Order in Order Management Suite (OM_PF) -->Order Management (ONT) --> Sales Order (ONT_SALES_ORDER) --> PL/SQL --> Process Order API (OE_ORDER_PUB) in Module Browser.
Please tell me which PL/SQL API to use to create new Sales Order in BPEL.
Thanks,

You may be on a different patch level. Can you ensure that you have applied all latest patches for your version?

• API for creating a new folder in Shared Queries through C # in TFS 2013

Hi ,
Is it possible to create a new folder in "Shared Queries" in Team foundation Server 2013 by using C#. I'm able to access the queries and even modify them by using the StoredQuery class and
the QueryText function . We had a case to create a new folder in the Shared Queries part of the project.
I have been and I am still looking for classes / api's that will enable me to do this .Any pointers to help me would be greatly appreciated.
Do let me know if I have to provide more information.
Regards,
Arun

Hi Arun,
Thanks for your post.
To create new folder under Shared Queries, you can try below code snippet:
TfsTeamProjectCollection tfs =
new
TfsTeamProjectCollection(new
Uri("collectionURL"));
tfs.EnsureAuthenticated();
WorkItemStore workitemstore = tfs.GetService<WorkItemStore>();
var queryHierarchy = workitemstore.Projects["teamprojectname"].QueryHierarchy;
QueryFolder currentLocation = queryHierarchy["Shared
Queries"]
as
QueryFolder;
var folder =
new
QueryFolder("foldername");
currentLocation.Add(folder);
currentLocation = folder;
queryHierarchy.Save();
