Aplicar Efectos a Texto en Photoshop y replicarlo en Illustrator

Buenas tardes:
Mi problema es el siguiente:
Tengo un logo vectorizado al cuál he modificado su apariencia por medio de efectos en Photoshop (el efecto es similar a la X de MAC: bisel, sombra interior y paralela y trazo).
Lo que pretendo es conseguir este logo con los efectos de Photoshop pero vectorizado de nuevo para poder usarlo para cualquier formato o medio.
Las herramientas que he probado de Illustrator no me dan las mismas opciones que las de Photoshop y en Intenet tampoco he encontrado ada sobre aplicar efectos a texto en Illustrator.
He convertido en Photoshop el conjunto de efectos a Estilo pero no lo puedo importar en Illustrator.
¿Hay alguna forma de conseguir el mismo efecto en Illustrator que el que conseguí en Photoshop?

    Hola, acuerdate de no replicar los temas en el foro ya que tre confusion a los que te queremos ayudar...
    De verdad es un tema bastante complejo, aunque se vea sencillo...
    La base del problema es que buscas aplicar efectos de BitMap a un vector, lo cual es bien dificil con las herramientas comunes, y no te puedo orientar si no veo lo que estas haciendo, de todas maneras puedes es una combinacion del uso de las transparencias el meshtool, blendtool y overprint. es un poco tortuoso pero funciona.
    La otra es aplicar lo mismo que hace Coca Cola y Pepsi (tengo los cds de las identidades corporativas de ambas empresas), es desarrollar tu logo en distintas versiones para que sean aplicadas en varias aplicaciones, como impresion a gran formato, offset, web, ect. El problema lo vas a tener si necesitas hacer la impresion de la "papeleria" (tarjetas de presentacion, hojas de negocio, ect.) que te pidan un numero determinado de colores para hacer la impresion mas economica o para hacer rotulaciones en vinil. Ppor ejemplo Pepesi tiene sus logos en formatos PSD con transparencia y tiene logos vectorizados (mas sencillos por su puesto) para la impresion de la papeleria y rotulacion e vinil.

  • Unable to place Photoshop psd file in Illustrator CS3

    Hi,
    Can someone help please???
    I am unable to place a Photoshop PSD file in Illustrator and be able to print the document correctly. The Illustrator file is saved as a ai file, both the document & PSD file are CMYK.
    On screen the document looks fine but as soon as I have printed the document, some of file has not printed.
    Do I need to have the Illustrator file as a eps file?
    I used to use an old Photoshop version that had a Export Image option, which was great for something like this, but CS3 doesn't have this option.
    Has anybody got any ideas what I am doing wrong?

    This seems to be an Illy problem, not Photoshop. You might want to check
    with the gurus there, but perhaps a few details, like what printer
    you're using and a few screenshots might help.

  • Placing photoshop eps's into Illustrator - file size

    I used to place very large/high res photoshop eps files into Illustrator (as low res proxy) and it would allow my Illustrator file size to stay very small, however, once I switched to CS5 I noticed the way I was saving the eps's wouldn't show up in Illustrator, it would show as an empty box until I resaved the eps with tiff preview and jpg encoding.  But this makes my Illustrator file huge which is not what I want.  Does anyone that creates large scale graphics know what I'm talking about?  Thanks

    I built a project within Photoshop CS2, complete with layers. But I need to export this artwork to be used in Illustrator. Can I do this? I've already tried saving the work as EPS but when it's opened in AI CS2, it displays nothing. What should I do?

    The EPS format does not support layers in raster images, so you flattened your layers when you saved as EPS. (Open the EPS again in Photoshop and see.) Nothing Illustrator can do about that (but it should display
    something).

  • Fonts behave different in Photoshop in comparison with Illustrator

    I have a problem: it seems that some fonts behave different in Photoshop CS than in Illustrator CS on my Windows XP. Where Illustrator opens a vector (Ill) EPS file correct Photoshop shows me wrong characters sometimes: for example: an é becomes a wrong character: Capital O with a stroke through it. Frutiger was used.
    My question is: where does Photoshop behave different reading fonts in comparison with Illustrator?

    Perhaps you forgot to embed the font?
    Here comes an example, using characters  with accents.
    The font is GillSans-Schoolbook. The font or subset is embedded.
    The file extension TXT should be replaced by EPS after downloading.
    The EPS doesn't contain a preview image.
    The file is correctly handled by
    Photoshop CS2 (opened)
    InDesign CS2 (placed)
    Illustrator CS2 (opened)
    PSAlter (PostScript interpreter by Quite)
    All characters with accents are missing in
    Word 2007 (insert graphic)

  • Photoshop CS6 Extended includes Illustrator?

    Hello,  I am a dad trying to purchase Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Illustrator for my daughter who is a high school senior and future art major.  She asked for either Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop CS6 for Christmas.  I happened to see Photoshop CS6 Extended advertised on Ebay and the description stated that it included Illustrator.  The Adobe website does not mention Illustrator as being included in the extended software.  Can anyone tell me if it is included?  What about Creative Cloud? Willl she need to sign up for a membership in order to use the software?

    Photoshop and Illustrator are two separate products.
    There are however several software suites, that contain most both of these software. There are several versions of Creative Suite, and you can choose one that offers you best value.
    In additon to the Creative Suite, Adobe also has a Creative Cloud offerring that includes all desktop software (such as Ps, Ai, Dw, ID), along with some web services, and even a tablet applications. It is available on a monthly subscription, so has low upfront costs, and ensures that you'll always have access to the latest version of the software.

  • Coverting photoshop file into an illustrator file

    Is it possible to convert a photoshop file into an illustrator file - I am using CS3.
    My client has sent me a logo which is a small photoshop image of the logotype logo on a black background at 300dpi. The text is 3D and has a gold gradient on one section and silver gradient on another section.
    Originally the logo was created by an animator for a film - the animator says he cannot provide a vector file
    The client does not want to remake the logo from scratch as the gradients and 3d effects would be different.
    I now need to have a vector file for a large print job - can I take the photoshop image - place it into an illustrator file and save as an illustrator file? Is there a better way to do this?
    I have tried cutting out the text area of the logo but it is still a bit scratchy round the edges so not really very useful.

    The client made the mistake of not having the logo properly made as a vector in the first place. He needs to accept that fact and let the logo be properly created now. It's easy to turn a vector image into a raster (Photoshop) image, but going the other direction is generally not possible without recreating it from scratch. Although the Live Trace feature in Illustrator converts rasters to vectors, you probably won't like the result, and a logo needs to be be properly constructed, not knocked out by Live Trace.

    Me guataría saber si en Photoshop es posible crear una plantilla con unos archivos vinculados, para que cada vez que cambie los archivos en una carpeta donde se alojan los recursos, estos cambien. Para no tener que editar cada día el .psd
    Si es posible, estaría muy agradecida de que alguien me guíe un poco.
    Aunque solo sea para cambiar el texto desde un excel, que he leído que es posible, pero solo encuentro referencias del Photoshop CS2.
    Por ejemplo, el archivo .psd se conformaría por:
    Fondo - que no es necesario que cambie
    Imagen - que cambia
    Título - que no es necesario que cambie
    Texto - que cambia

    Te adjunto las instrucciones y algunos gráficos, no permite el foro adjuntar PDFs por lo que el texto esta pegado seguido, sin formatos.
    Las Variables y Conjuntos de Datos ofrecen la capacidad de reemplazar los contenidos de determinadas capas de un archivo .psd en Photoshop.
    Crea una carpeta y coloca las imágenes a utilizar y un archivo de texto*, que puede escribirse o exportarse como .csv desde una hoja de cálculo (MSExcel©)
    En Photoshop hay que crear una plantilla o un documento modelo con una serie de capas, la de fondo que contenga o no imágenes, otras capas, y las capas con texto que se quieran ir cambiando o completando automáticamente, y las capas con las imágenes que igualmente cambien al ir asociadas a otros datos.
    Asi que en Photoshop construye un archivo con la capa de fondo coloca en  varias capas de texto los textos que van a cambiar (p.ej. el nombre, en otra el apellido, la dirección, …) da a cada capa un nombre identificativo (no es necesario que coincida con el nombre de los campos de datos).
    Ajusta el formato de cada texto, tamaño, fuente, … incluso crea y aplica estilos de párrafo.
    Cuando el modelo o plantilla esté preparado guárdalo como .psd.
    Si los datos se incluyen o provienen de una hoja de cálculo, la primera fila contendrá los nombres de cada tipo de datos, por ejemplo: Nombre, Apellido, Dirección, Ciudad, Foto.

    Empecemos entonces:
    (Menú Photohop) Imagen>Variables Definir
    Hay que definir cada una de ellas y asignarla un campo de la hoja de cálculo (del archivo de texto exportado).
    Elige una capa del menú desplegable
    Marca según corresponda la casilla de Reemplazar Texto o de Reemplazar Píxel
    En Nombre escribe el nombre (igual a como aparezca en el archivo de texto) del dato variable (celdas de MSExcel)
    Para definir cada una de las variable repetir el proceso para cada capa. (en las de fotos, Alinear en el centro y en Método usar Llenar o Encajar).
    Pulsar OK.
    Escribir en Word u otro procesador de texto, los datos, o si están en una hoja de cálculo, exportar como CSV (.csv).
    Asi es como se ve al abrirlo en un procesador de texto:
    Nombre, Apellido, Dirección, Ciudad, Foto
    Irene, Fernandez, Gran Via 55, 4º A, Madrid, Irene01.jpg
    Federico, Platón, Ocean Blvd. 345, Miami, Fp045.jpg
    Bruce, Lee, Canal St. 56, New York City, bruce07.jpg
    Comprobarlo y guardarlo como archivo de texto, .txt en la carpeta donde ya tenemos las fotos guardadas.
    Abrir ahora: (Menú Photohop) Imagen>Variables>Data Sets (Conjunto de Datos)
    1. Pulsar sobre el botón de Importar:
    2. En el panel que aparece en la ventana de Importar, escoger el archivo .txt guardado.
    3. En Codificación: Auto, marcar la casilla de reemplazar datos existentes. Pulsar OK
    De nuevo en la ventana de Variables, hay que ir asignando a cada Conjunto de Datos (nombres presentes en el archivo de texto importado)  a cada una de las variables. (Usar las flechas hacia los lados que aparecen a la derecha de las ventanas desplegables de datos y variables).
    Una vez completados, asignados cada variable a un conjunto de datos, que se pueden previsualizar con los botones del lado derecho, sólo nos queda exportar a los archivos (.psd) resultantes.
    (Menú Photohop) Archivo>Exportar >Data Sets as Files (Conjuntos de datos como archivos).
    1. Crear una nueva carpeta donde guardar los .psd de cada persona o conjunto de datos.
    2. En la ventana de Conjunto de datos: Todos los Conjuntos de Datos
    En Nombre de Archivo: Nombre archivo + _ + nombre Data Set (es un ejemplo, configurar como se desee)
    Extensión: .psd
    3. Pulsar OK
    Un poco más tarde estarán todos los archivos .psd creados en esa carpeta a partir de cada campo o grupo de datos.

    Buenos días he mirado un tutorial de Photoshop en el que en el panel de previsualización de Filtro Interpretar Efectos de Iluminación la luz se ve como un cuadrado . Me gustaría saber cómo puedo cambiar eso en Photoshop' porque a mi por defecto me aparece como un semicírculo y es que en este efecto concretamente tiene que ser así.A mi me sale por defecto como la primera imagen y yo lo quiero como la segunda imagen.Un saludo

    Hola.
    Lo que estas viendo es exactamente lo mismo, solo que la superior es de una versión más moderna. El filtro a sido actualizado, pero los parámetros son similares.
    La actualización, nos permite trabajar directamente sobre la imagen y no sobre una previa como hacíamos antes. Te tendrás que acostumbrar al nuevo sistema de trabajo.

  • EFECTO ESCRIBIR TEXTO A MANO

    Alguien sabe como hacer en Premier o en After Ef. el efecto de escribir algun texto de modo que paresca que la transicion es a mano como cuando uno escribe sobre papel.

    hola, esto lo logras con el after effects, creas el texto y acontinuacion le aplicas el efecto paint, le aplicas la velocidad de escritura, y con esto puedes ver como las letras se van escribiendo.
    es un poco laborioso pero al fina se logra un muy buen efecto, dependiendo de tu paciencia
    no tengo los pasos exactos pero asi se hace
    espero no fallaste
