Everytime I close PSCSS, I get the message and log file "photoshop css quits unexpectedly" The only started to occur when I upgraded to PSCC. Does anyone have any idea how to help?

There should be an uninstaller in the CS4 folder if the disc won't work.

Como bloquear solo parte del texto

Hola:
Perdon si mi pregunta es simple, pero soy nuevo y no encuentro la forma de bloquear parte del texto de mi documento, de forma de otro usuario con Acrobat pueda colocar datos (editar) ciertos lugares de dicho documento, pero que no pueda cambiar el resto. No deseo usar Forms. ¿ Hay alguna manera de hacerlo ?. Un ejemplo tipico sería el caso de una planilla donde el que toma el documento ponga su nombre en un lugar reservado y luego lo imprima.

Roberto, es dificil jugar al baloncesto pero sin usar una bola de baloncesto, mas en serio, lo recomendable sería usar algun campo de formulario. El documento lo puedes colocar como fondo o marca de agua, y luego añadir un campo de texto (un campo de formulario, inevitablemente) donde se pueda escribir, esta parte no tiene alternativas salgo que le indiques al usuario cómo usar la herramienta de retoque de texto, un tampón, etc., y donde hacerlo.
El PDF resultante lo puedes proteger con contraseña pero permitir que escriba en ese campo de formulario que has situado por encima.

Update of Camera Raw 7.2 for Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4.2 - now Bad color

Did the auto update of Camera Raw 7.2 to Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4.2 now the color is green and flat in all images after I save them. I do use a Nikon Camera profile and lens correction. Everything was working fine until the 7.2 update. Now the only way to save correctly is to Save for Web. Where do I match the color/profiles?

I had marked the Profile mismatch boxes to see if I got an error message, but I never did, so I cleared them again.
Conversion Options:     Engine     Adobe
                                            Intent     Relative Colorimetric
Advanced Control     Only one checked iis Blend Text Colors using Gamma at 1.45
As far as what settings do I open images with. File > Open and find the file. During the edit process everything looks perfect - only after I save is the file trashed.
Under Preferences: File Handling > File Compatibilty > checked are Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for Supportred files
Everything has been fine for months with PS CS6 & Lightroom 4.2 & Colorchecker software profiles, until the Raw Camera update. And I can still save perfect images as long as I save they with the File > Save for Web.

Could not initialize photoshop because of a problem using the adobe color engine (Win 7)

Was running the lastest version of Photoshop CS5 and added a second quad graphics card and 4 more monitors. Now PS will not start and I get the error message "could not initialize photoshop because of a problem using the adobe color engine."
Computer has 2 NIVDIA Quadro4 NVS420 graphics boards with 8 Samsung SyncMaster 1920x1080 monitors. If I disable 4 of the monitors CS5 starts normally. I do not have to remove the added graphics card. When I extend the desktop again to all 8 monitors I get the error above.
How do I trouble-shoot the problem? Is it Photoshop, NIVDIA or Windows 7?

Well, not exactly a full solution yet (at least for my setup), but I am certain now that this issue is (mostly) caused by nVidia's drivers. You may be able to fix your setup by simply installing the latest drivers for your NVS420 cards (266.45 for Win 7/64 rel. 01/12/2011).
Since you are using two identical cards, this could do the trick.
Caveats - Make sure you:
1. Select Custom Install, the Express Install will most likely not work properly.
2. Unselect the Audio Driver (if available), the nVidia HD(MI) Audio driver could
screw up your speech recognition (if you use it) or other audio software - it did for me.
3. Select Clean Install. If you don't, files like C:\Windows\System32\drivers\nvlddmkm.sys
and several other driver related files will not be overwritten, causing all sorts of neat effects.
4. After the Install is complete, reboot your system whether the Installer prompts you or not.
After testing various configurations, disabling two - six of my eight monitors I am at this point:
I am now using nVidia's lastest and greatest piece of crap (read driver), version 266.58, released just two days ago. After an initial snag with maximized windows extending to the bottom of the main monitor (underneath the taskbar), a re-install & reboot solved that issue.
All three driver versions tested (260.89, 260.99, 266.58) now allow me to start PhotoShop without any problems; providing I first disable the two monitors fed by my onboard graphics (nVidia 780a based), leaving me with six monitors connected to three GTS-450 cards. I can even re-enable the two other monitors once the program is open, and it continues to work fine. However, I must disconnect them again for the next start of PhotoShop.
On an interesting side note:
After disabling six monitors (leaving only two on a GTS-450), I was also able to open and run SoundBooth CS5, which previously would not open, citing the audio driver as the problem. After sucessfully starting SoundBooth I could re-enable all six other monitors (incl. onboards),
and that program now opens and works fine with all 8 monitors connected. [ODD !!!]
Other than Adobe Software, I've had only one other issue with my setup:
When playing online poker at PokerStars, occasionally and quite randomly one of multiple tables would freeze up. I'll try disabling the two onboard monitors for that program as well to see whether the random freezes stop.
Overall, while I think that Adobe produces fine software and nVidia has been in need of an overhaul for quite some time now, I also think that Adobe and nVidia software engineers need to work more closely together to ensure that problems like this don't arise in the first place after a product has been released to the public. IMHO, this is avoidable!

Is it ok in the long run to placing a RGB photoshop eps file into a Illustrator CS2 CMYK color mode document ?
I am using windows XP with Adobe Creative suite 2.
In both Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 have the same color settings.
If I take a RGB file that was created in Photoshop CS2 and place this file in a CMYK color mode document in Illustrator CS2, does this cause a problem for the output of the document ?
If you look at the ''Document Info'' window you can now see that the RGB file is now a CMYK file. Is this a good working habit ?

Please explain why you would do such a thing? (Why RGB, and why EPS.)

Yes.
You are working in CMYK mode presumably because your Illustrator document is destined for output on a PostScript device -- e.g., a printing press. That means that your RGB image will undergo a space conversion somewhere in the process, and the questions are when and how?
The issue is compounded by the fact that Illustrator ignores color profiles embedded in EPS files by Photoshop. (Just another reason not to use EPS.)
By performing the conversion yourself in Photoshop, you take control of the process and ensure predictable color.

Vincular archivos/texto en Photoshop CS6

Me guataría saber si en Photoshop es posible crear una plantilla con unos archivos vinculados, para que cada vez que cambie los archivos en una carpeta donde se alojan los recursos, estos cambien. Para no tener que editar cada día el .psd
Si es posible, estaría muy agradecida de que alguien me guíe un poco.
Aunque solo sea para cambiar el texto desde un excel, que he leído que es posible, pero solo encuentro referencias del Photoshop CS2.
Por ejemplo, el archivo .psd se conformaría por:
Fondo - que no es necesario que cambie
Imagen - que cambia
Título - que no es necesario que cambie
Texto - que cambia

Te adjunto las instrucciones y algunos gráficos, no permite el foro adjuntar PDFs por lo que el texto esta pegado seguido, sin formatos.
Las Variables y Conjuntos de Datos ofrecen la capacidad de reemplazar los contenidos de determinadas capas de un archivo .psd en Photoshop.
Crea una carpeta y coloca las imágenes a utilizar y un archivo de texto*, que puede escribirse o exportarse como .csv desde una hoja de cálculo (MSExcel©)
En Photoshop hay que crear una plantilla o un documento modelo con una serie de capas, la de fondo que contenga o no imágenes, otras capas, y las capas con texto que se quieran ir cambiando o completando automáticamente, y las capas con las imágenes que igualmente cambien al ir asociadas a otros datos.
Asi que en Photoshop construye un archivo con la capa de fondo coloca en varias capas de texto los textos que van a cambiar (p.ej. el nombre, en otra el apellido, la dirección, …) da a cada capa un nombre identificativo (no es necesario que coincida con el nombre de los campos de datos).
Ajusta el formato de cada texto, tamaño, fuente, … incluso crea y aplica estilos de párrafo.
Cuando el modelo o plantilla esté preparado guárdalo como .psd.
Si los datos se incluyen o provienen de una hoja de cálculo, la primera fila contendrá los nombres de cada tipo de datos, por ejemplo: Nombre, Apellido, Dirección, Ciudad, Foto.

Empecemos entonces:
(Menú Photohop) Imagen>Variables Definir
Hay que definir cada una de ellas y asignarla un campo de la hoja de cálculo (del archivo de texto exportado).
Elige una capa del menú desplegable
Marca según corresponda la casilla de Reemplazar Texto o de Reemplazar Píxel
En Nombre escribe el nombre (igual a como aparezca en el archivo de texto) del dato variable (celdas de MSExcel)
Para definir cada una de las variable repetir el proceso para cada capa. (en las de fotos, Alinear en el centro y en Método usar Llenar o Encajar).
Pulsar OK.
Escribir en Word u otro procesador de texto, los datos, o si están en una hoja de cálculo, exportar como CSV (.csv).
Asi es como se ve al abrirlo en un procesador de texto:
Nombre, Apellido, Dirección, Ciudad, Foto

Comprobarlo y guardarlo como archivo de texto, .txt en la carpeta donde ya tenemos las fotos guardadas.
Abrir ahora: (Menú Photohop) Imagen>Variables>Data Sets (Conjunto de Datos)
1. Pulsar sobre el botón de Importar:
2. En el panel que aparece en la ventana de Importar, escoger el archivo .txt guardado.
3. En Codificación: Auto, marcar la casilla de reemplazar datos existentes. Pulsar OK
De nuevo en la ventana de Variables, hay que ir asignando a cada Conjunto de Datos (nombres presentes en el archivo de texto importado) a cada una de las variables. (Usar las flechas hacia los lados que aparecen a la derecha de las ventanas desplegables de datos y variables).
Una vez completados, asignados cada variable a un conjunto de datos, que se pueden previsualizar con los botones del lado derecho, sólo nos queda exportar a los archivos (.psd) resultantes.
(Menú Photohop) Archivo>Exportar >Data Sets as Files (Conjuntos de datos como archivos).
1. Crear una nueva carpeta donde guardar los .psd de cada persona o conjunto de datos.
2. En la ventana de Conjunto de datos: Todos los Conjuntos de Datos
En Nombre de Archivo: Nombre archivo + _ + nombre Data Set (es un ejemplo, configurar como se desee)
Extensión: .psd
3. Pulsar OK
Un poco más tarde estarán todos los archivos .psd creados en esa carpeta a partir de cada campo o grupo de datos.

Aplicar Efectos a Texto en Photoshop y replicarlo en Illustrator

Buenas tardes:
Mi problema es el siguiente:
Tengo un logo vectorizado al cuál he modificado su apariencia por medio de efectos en Photoshop (el efecto es similar a la X de MAC: bisel, sombra interior y paralela y trazo).
Lo que pretendo es conseguir este logo con los efectos de Photoshop pero vectorizado de nuevo para poder usarlo para cualquier formato o medio.
Las herramientas que he probado de Illustrator no me dan las mismas opciones que las de Photoshop y en Intenet tampoco he encontrado ada sobre aplicar efectos a texto en Illustrator.
He convertido en Photoshop el conjunto de efectos a Estilo pero no lo puedo importar en Illustrator.
¿Hay alguna forma de conseguir el mismo efecto en Illustrator que el que conseguí en Photoshop?

Re bonjour, je suis donc retourné sur Adobe Créative Cloud et je suis étonné que toutes les propositions de CC y apparaissent avec les initiales "CC" et le nom en bleu alors que seul Light Room y apparaît en noir. Photoshop y a été mis à jour 10 fois quand Light Room, aucune fois, semble-t-il ?
LR a pourtant le N° de version 5.6 et donc je me disais que s'il faisait partie de CC, il comporterait les lettres CC et apparaîtrait en bleu comme toutes les autres applications Adobe CC?
Enfin, dernière nouvelle, si PS CC 2014 est toujours actif, Light Room aussi, Adobe Créative Cloud semble inexistant ? Et en tout cas, inactif ! Comment le réinstaller ?

Je pense faire l'acquisition de Première Eléments 10 + Photoshop 10.
J'aimerai savoir quand on a travaillé à l'identification de ses photos pour les classer et les gérer, on peut charger ses photos sur un portable ( ainsi que le logiciel bien entendu )
sans perdre toutes les informations saisies, afin de pouvoir continuer à travailler dessus et synchroniser sur le PC de base en rentrant chez soi ?

Pour commencer, définition du mot catalogue.
- Fonction du catalogue : de même que dans une bibliothèque vous avez des catalogues pour retrouver des livres par leur titre, auteur, genre ou date de sortie, vous avez besoin d'un catalogue pour retrouver, documenter et regrouper vos photos.

- Implémentation de ce service informatique par Adobe : le tableau Excel est remplacé par un outil beaucoup plus solide et performant, une base de données. Cette base de données a la forme d'un fichier (catalog.pse10db dans le cas de PSE10) et de divers autres fichiers annexes. Le tout est stocké dans un répertoire portant le nom de votre catalogue. Vous pouvez avoir plusieurs catalogues, donc plusieurs dossiers. Vous trouvez l'emplacement de votre dossier courant dans le menu aide (Info sur le système).
Un catalogue (le dossier/répertoire) est donc accessible et visible depuis l'explorateur Windows, il peut être copié, déplacé, renommé, effacé de la même façon que vous pouvez accéder à vos fichiers de photos... avec les mêmes gros risques.
La même règle d'or de ne modifier, déplacer ou effacer des fichiers de photos que depuis l'application Organiseur est valable. Cependant, dans votre cas, il est possible de copier un catalogue (le dossier) depuis un disque vers un autre à condition de savoir ce que l'on fait.
